These traits put her in a powerful position to be produced by somebody to move up the levels in the dressage world (she has always had a very easy flying change), or enjoy winning at Elementary forever.

Dazzle was produced professionally by myself (an event rider) until the middle of her 6yo year, before going out on lease to a junior rider (14yo) to event for the past 2 years.

In that time they enjoyed great success at the BE90 level and showjumping at 100, including winning the Pony Club areas, and being selected for the BE90u18 South West Youth team. However, we felt that even though Dazzle has an amazing jump her heart does not totally lie in this area. She can be a little spooky to jump new fences, but once she has jumped something once she will then have the biggest smile on her face to take you the second time. Loves doing pole work!

She could be immensely capable on the flat in the right hands, but then able to go on a fun ride the next day on the buckle. She is brilliant to shoe, clip, travel, and to be honest anything else you can think of; and is never nappy or marish!

Rita is a beautiful 7-year-old Thoroughbred mare standing approximately 15.2–15.3hh. She retired from racing completely sound simply because she wasn’t quick enough, and has since been carefully and correctly retrained into a genuine, talented all-round riding horse.

She is an absolute pleasure to own with the sweetest temperament. Kind, affectionate and easy to handle in every way, Rita is good to catch, groom, wash, shoe, load and travel. She happily turns out with other horses, has no stable vices and is a lovely mare to have around the yard.

Under saddle, Rita is forward-thinking without being silly and is always willing to learn.
