Recently imported from Spain, Guapo combines all the attributes that make the breed so sought after. He is by Kambaco Var, a stallion renowned for producing athletic, rideable offspring with expressive movement, excellent trainability and a willing disposition. Out of a mare by Usurero, another highly respected bloodline known for contributing elegance, functionality and the characteristic kind temperament for which quality Spanish horses are admired.
A very attractive horse with good conformation, Guapo has plenty of presence without being over the top. He is the sort that catches the eye wherever he goes and has all the style and charisma that Spanish horse enthusiasts are looking for.
In the stable and on the ground, Guapo is an absolute pleasure to have around. He is kind, affectionate and genuinely enjoys human company. With a friendly, Labrador-like personality, he forms strong bonds with the grooms and riders and is the type of horse that quickly becomes part of the family.
Under saddle, Guapo is proving to be an enjoyable and uncomplicated ride. He is working well on the flat, showing a natural willingness to learn and a lovely trainable attitude. Guapo has also been out hacking both alone and in company, where he has behaved impeccably. Sensible and straightforward, he enjoys getting out and seeing the world.
