Martini is my 13yr old daughter’s horse who has sadly lost interest. We’ve had her for two years and the pair of them have just taught each other so much. She is definitely a second pony as she can be a typical Moody Mare, will pull faces and is very clever. We have taken her to an indoor arena near us and she will jump anything including cross country jumps. She never refuses. Once she has bonded with you she will follow you anywhere. She is good to catch, shoe etc

She is such a smart pony, it took her a long time to trust us in the beginning as she hadn’t had the best start and wasn’t used to younger persons now my daughter can do anything with her.

We do watch her weight as we usually have very rich grass being a beef farm.

She is up to date with everything absolutely open to being vetted in fact would prefer it

This is a sad sale but she needs to be used to her full potential which with transport she could.

Rebel – 5yo Connie Cross Riding Pony

Rebel is our gorgeous 5-year-old Connemara cross riding pony, beautifully bred by Whalton Dilettante (by Kilvington Scoundrel)

He has been slowly and carefully produced over the past year and a half, with plenty of time given to grow, mature and develop at his own pace. He is a lovely, kind-natured pony with a wonderful temperament and is a real pleasure to have around.

Rebel is exceptionally sweet and easy to handle. My 14-year-old daughter regularly turns him out and brings him in, and even my novice and nervous husband is completely happy leading him. He is very sensible in the field — he is happy to be turned out first and wait for his friends, or come in last without becoming silly or stressed. He has a lovely attitude and is generally a very straightforward pony to deal with.

Rebel absolutely loves his hacking and is happy to go alone or in company. He is unfazed by traffic, tractors and the general sights and sounds of the countryside.He is polite and sensible in open fields, and will happily have a canter, come back to walk and carry on calmly. He is ridden regularly by my daughter in the menage, where he goes sweetly and willingly, he has also been ridden by less experienced riders and younger riders and has always been polite. I also school him, with me he is learning to work in a consistent outline and is beginning to offer some lovely lateral work, in time he will produce a very nice dressage test.

Rebel also enjoys jumping and has been introduced to a variety of experiences, including external lessons, pole work clinics and jumping where he has behaved immaculately. He loads and travels beautifully and is exceptionally easy to handle away from home (references from instructors can be provided)

Rebel has a fantastic attitude to his work and is willing to learn. He is still a 5-year-old and therefore has plenty of education and mileage ahead of him, but he has been given a solid foundation to build upon.

As a 5-year-old, I feel Rebel would be best suited to a home that can continue his education and bring out his full potential. He would thrive with someone who wants a pony to enjoy a varied life, get out and about, and really develop a special bond with. He would love to be someone’s best friend and centre of attention.

Buddy is also fantastic with livestock and has even been used to help move cattle, which he takes completely in his stride.

We have owned him for the past 4 years and he is my youngest daughter’s pride and joy. She has done everything with him. He is a proper little all rounder from doing ODE, SJ, XC schooling, pony club camp, PC rallies, beach rides & the gallops. He is confident up to 60cm.

He is the character of the yard being a typical cheeky pony but is always handled and cared for by my daughter.

This is a very sad sale purely due to being outgrown and he is too good a pony and too young to become a field ornament. He is not a novice ride so definitely more of a second pony. He is very responsive to the leg and forward to ride. Not a kick along. He is not naughty just quite strong for a little pony and takes some getting used to.

He schools nicely in all 3 paces. He is great to hack alone and in company and is happy to lead the ride unfazed by traffic, sheep, tractors etc. He can also be easily led from another horse if needed and is not bothered by sticking to their side.

I also believe he has the potential to make a great driving pony.

She is one of the nicest young horses on the circuit, she has fantastic flatwork and automatic changes, she is brave, careful and scopey and we believe she has such a big future ahead of her as she has all the correct attributes you look for in a young horse plus the most fantastic mindset and kind nature.

She will only be sold to a 5* home as we think alot of her.

Unfortunately the time has come to find Cheeto a new jockey. He is a 12 year old 11.2hh chestnut gelding with no recorded breeding.

We have owned him for the past 4 years and he is my youngest daughter’s pride and joy. She has done everything with him. He is a proper little all rounder from doing ODE, SJ, XC schooling, pony club camp, PC rallies, beach rides & the gallops. He is confident up to 60cm.

He is the character of the yard being a typical cheeky pony but is always handled and cared for by my daughter.

This is a very sad sale purely due to being outgrown and he is too good a pony and too young to become a field ornament. He is not a novice ride so definitely more of a second pony. He is very responsive to the leg and forward to ride. Not a kick along. He is not naughty just quite strong for a little pony and takes some getting used to.

He schools nicely in all 3 paces. He is great to hack alone and in company and is happy to lead the ride unfazed by traffic, sheep, tractors etc. He can also be easily led from another horse if needed and is not bothered by sticking to their side.

I also believe he has the potential to make a great driving pony.

He is currently barefoot and copes fine without shoes. His perfect to load, clip, trim, bath & groom all done by my daughters.

Up to date with jabs & teeth. No vices and comes with all tack & rugs.

Sad sale of a really easy, genuine pony due to his rider wanting to move on to horses.

Vinnie is a lovely 6-year-old, 14.1hh grey Connemara who has been carefully produced by a young teenage girl. He is an absolute pleasure to have around and is like a dog to handle.

He is brilliant for the farrier, dentist, clipping and loading, and travels happily on both a lorry and trailer.

Under saddle, Vinnie has three lovely paces and a willing, genuine attitude. He particularly loves cross-country and hacking and has been to arena hires and unaffiliated shows, giving him valuable experience in different environments.

We feel Vinnie would excel in a working hunter pony home and has plenty of potential for someone looking for a smart, talented pony to continue producing.

Vinnie is not a first or second pony and would be best suited to a confident, capable rider who can continue his education and bring out his full potential.
