You cant get much sweeter than this lovely boy. He has the most wonderful temlerament, incredibly easy going and just kobes to be fussed.

Having recently come over from Ireland, where he has taken part in plently of hacking and sponsored rides. He is great to hack in both wide open spaces and on the road in the heaviest of traffic including big farm machiney and lorries.

He has also taken part in some local showing shows to gain experience and see the world where he remained his same calm and easy going self behaving perfectly.

We are looking for a new 5 star home for Merlin, 145.5cm 8 year old Bay gelding. A very sweet beautiful pony, with huge talent ready for a new rider to continue his career. He shows three excellent gaits, with a particularly outstanding walk and balanced, expressive canter.

Merlin started his FEI career in Oct 2025 aged 7 being ridden by a 12 year old, attending Premier Leagues and High profile shows with scores up to 72%. He was invited to and attended the 2 international youth camps and was selected for 3 internationals including the final pony team selection trial at Wellington.

Merlin has a sweet and easy temperament and is good to handle in all situations.He is the perfect pony to travel and compete with, he is the same at home and competitions whether a small local show or an international stay away show. Merlin is a true sport pony for children: extremely confident, safe yet responsive to light aids, he has been ridden by a 10 year old and he performed beautifully

Lolah is a 3 y/o untouched 14hh bay destined to be a future pony star.

She is by the amazing Le Chiffre, British riding pony, who needs no introduction in the elite dressage pony world and out of Section B mare, Priestwood Imelda May who has shown at county level for both flat and working hunter.

Le Chiffre is owned by Godrics Sportshorse and Pony Stud and brings top German bloodlines combining those of his sire, the SPSS Elite stallion, Caesar 171, with his dam's classic ancestry (including Donnerwetter, Dancer and Kaprice as well as TB and Trakehner lines). In 2013, aged only just 6 years, LE Chiffre became the first SPSS passported pony to compete Internationally when he and Chloe Vell competed for GB in the FEI Pony classes at the 2013 Hickstead CDI. This earned him the prestigious ELITE accolade from the SPSS as well as the 2013 Dancer Medal.

After excellent international results in 2014, LE Chiffre and his new rider, Lara Kuropatwa, were named as Reserves for the 2014 GB Pony European Dressage Championships Team. Then in 2016, Lara was selected for the 2016 Pony European team with either LE Chiffre or her other pony with the other as direct reserve. They impressed the selectors by placing 7th in the Individual test at the Nieuw en Sint Joosland CDIP in April, placing 6th in the Kur at Saumur CDIOP (with 73%) before scoring over 70% in the team test at the Roosendaal CDIP in June. Indy is the pony every parent hopes to find. Safe, kind, willing, able and full of character. Indy has been a much-loved member of our family since July last year, when we bought her as a confidence-giving first pony for our then 11-year-old daughter who has been riding from the age of 8.

In the 14 months we have owned her, Indy has done exactly what we hoped she would do — she has helped our daughter progress from jumping 30cm cross poles to confidently riding 70/75cm showjumping and XC courses, whilst gaining confidence and skills throughout her Pony Club journey so far.

Indy has been enjoying Pony Club life with our daughter from rallies, to camps she's done it all with ease. Outside of Pony Club, Indy has thoroughly enjoyed cross-country, fun rides, beach rides, hacking, formation riding to music and tried dressage. She is happy to have a go at whatever is asked of her and genuinely enjoys having a job. When it comes to hacking, she is happy to hack alone or in company and generally isn't fazed by traffic, tractors, dogs or loud noises.

Temperament

Indy is a very sensible and straightforward pony.

She has never reared, although she can on rare occasion give an excited little buck — , as with her legs, they are very small! She is confident and comfortable in her surroundings, not spooky, happy with fillers and new environments. For example, we have taken Indy to the beach, where she has been calm and sensible in open spaces and she loves the water!

Indy is a responsible pony to have around on the ground and is easy to groom, tack up and handle. She just loves standing still, munching on hay whilst our daughter grooms her.

Earlier in her life, Indy was also part of the RDA, which definitely translated calmness and steadiness into her temperament.

Showing and Previous Experience

Indy is exceptionally fit and healthy for her age. Her condition certainly hasn't gone unnoticed — at a recent showing event with our daughter, she received an accolade from the Horse's Trust 'Best Body Condition' in the Veteran class. Our daughter has won lots of rosettes across all disciplines and showing.

The Hardest Sale...

Indy really is a pony and my daughter's best friend, which makes this an incredibly difficult (and emotional sale) for her. But she's outgrown Indy and needs to move up to a larger pony/horse.

Indy is safe, sensible and incredibly kind and comfortable jumping 70/75cm, we feel this is a sensible maximum expectation for her. She would be best suited for a child wanting the same journey as we have; to learn, progress and gain experience, so - a second pony for a 9–12 year-old, or a first pony for a confident young child.

Indy loves her varied life and has so much to give. We would like to find her a confident little rider who wants to have fun, learn and make lots of memories together — exactly as our daughter has done.

Please don't let her age put you off. Indy is a very happy, fit and active pony who loves getting out and doing things, and we are confident she has plenty more enjoyable years ahead of her.
