Because of his calm temperament this pony would make an ideal adult/ child share for ridden classes. He is in no way sharp and doesn’t need to be ridden everyday to remain calm.When not in training he is cared for by a retired lady who has no difficulty in looking after him by herself. He is a very healthy animal, N/ N for hoof wall and is easy to load,shoe ,clip and wash.
This pony’s way of going and outline over a jump has helped him win Working Hunter Championships. Winning the Working Hunter championship in Clifden as a 6 year old in 2023 the centenary year of the Connemara Pony Breeders Society remains high in our memory. This pony has competed in one day training events. Presently he is returning to work and as part of his training is jumping 90 cms courses ,as he becomes fitter he will be capable of jumping higher.

Genuine post. Lucy is a fantastic pony. Due to a new job and lack of time Lucy is for sale.

Because of my lack of time Lucy has only been hacked for the last year with occasional schooling. Therefore she is not very fit and supple but with 3-4 weeks of work will be.
I adore Lucy. We have been to pole clinics, dressage, lessons and my daughter has been jumping with her.

Lucy has done Pony Club in her previous home. Lucy does not change when going out. Lucy loves her jumping but equally happy hacking. She does not need be ridden every day, she will be just the same if left whilst you go on holiday for instance.

Great to hack, great in all traffic, load, shoe, clip, tie up, with other horses etc.

Heartbreaking sale of our amazing pony who has been hopelessly outgrown.

Eddie is a Welsh part bred 14.1 hand 11 year old bay gelding. We have had him for over 3 years. He came to us with low mileage and my daughter has done so much on him and had so much fun. He is a wonderful character and a pleasure to have on the yard. He gets on with everyone, both four legged and two!

Eddie has 3 correct paces and competed SJ at 80-100 with scope for more. He loves cross country and would be a great eventer! Eddie loves hacking and hacks alone or in company but is defintely better in front as he will get excited behind! Eddie has a JMB measurement and could do junior or senior BS.

He is good to handle in every way - clip, travel and farrier. In the field he likes company and gets a bit worried if he is left alone so does require company. He lives out 24/7 but in bad weather he does live in at night or would need access to a field shelter. He has no lumps or bumps. Up to date with teeth and vaccinations. Passed a 5 stage vetting at the end of February and is open to further vettings.

He would be ideal for a teenager or lightweight adult and is a second pony - he is not for novices and needs a knowledgeable confident rider with an established seat as he can buck when excited. Eddie has reared on a very few occasions when faced with something he really doesn't like but these are very few and far between over the course of our ownership. We purchased him knowing his and it has never been an issue. Happy to discuss this further and give examples. With this in mind I would only sell to a knowledgeable home who will give him the time to settle and establish a relationship with his new rider.

Eddie is in work, being ridden by my 16 year old daughter and a 12 year old who has come out of a riding school and he is teaching her the ropes, regularly jumping 80/90cm. I'm not in a rush to sell him and will only sell him to the best 5* home.
