At Hawtins Stud our aim is to breed and produce the highest quality dressage horses by combining the best German bloodlines to create beautiful and exciting horses with wonderful temperaments.
We ensure our horses have the best start in life by providing the highest levels of care and management combined with correct riding and training.
All our horses will be under saddle and will usually have started their competition career before they leave us. They have the correct start to their training right from their early education. Our training is based on the scales of training and is relevant to each horse’s age and stage of physical development. Some of our horses take part in the young horse classes but many need more time to grow and mature. Our goal is the long-term for our horses.
We offer talented and rideable horses for a successful and long-term career in dressage. Our horses are suitable for both ambitious amateurs and professionals.
Hawtins horses are successfully competing at all levels from young horse classes up to international Grand Prix.

We offer horses for sale from four years and upwards. We have a range of horses at different levels of training. We try to match our horses to your requirements to ensure a visit to us is worthwhile for you. If you are interested in any of our horses advertised or are looking for something specific which we may have but are not yet advertising, please give us a call and we will be happy to help you and answer any questions you have.
We currently have horses available from three years of age through to international quality horses winning at small tour and working towards Grand Prix.
