Quality Irish Draught – Top Intermediate / Small Hunter Prospect

6-year-old fully registered Irish Draught

A beautiful, substantial horse with limb, movement, quality and presence, who we believe has all the attributes to make a top Intermediate Show Hunter or Small Hunter.

He has been purposely taken slowly and given the time he needed to mature rather than being rushed. He is now ready for someone to put the miles on the clock and continue his education.

He hacks alone and in company. He can sometimes lack a little confidence and therefore needs an experienced or professional home that can continue to bring out the best in him. He is not suitable for a novice.

We originally bought him for a class that I am unfortunately now out of, as he needed more time than we initially anticipated. This is an extremely difficult and genuine sale due entirely to our circumstances and through absolutely no fault of his own.

These quality, substantial types are becoming increasingly hard to find, and we genuinely believe he has a very exciting future ahead of him in the right hands.

He is not being given away, but is very reasonably priced for a horse of his calibre and potential.

He has now popped jumps showing great style and very bold.

• Amazing temperament. Great to do in all ways.
• Absolute stunner- a real eye catcher.
• Good to load , shoe , clip - no vices - ideal hunting horse.

Dream ( Kildromin Dream) has been my granddaughters pony club ride from a five year old until now - she reached her 12th year in June - born 2014.

She is fast - quick to turn and is great out hunting / Hunter trials / team chase and polocrosse - she was a real winner show jumping and has a good BSJ record, but started to put a stop in at SJ competitions- she has still hunted fine and enjoys the cross-country, rustic fences. She’s competed polocrosse regularly, even getting a podium place at pony club championships in 2024. This year she’s mainly hunted and was in the ribbons last weekend at the Hunter trials.

She’s always been exercised regularly in our arena at home -( she’s always been shod on all four ) and we are told by experts recently that she shows real potential as a dressage horse. We feel she would be ideally suited to a hunting family or low level dressage / happy hacker.

She can be a little spooky but nothing dangerous… she does take confidence from her rider and is sensitive. So not a novice ride.

She measured in at 149.5 officially and is probably 15hh now - so a horse not a pony - therefore our aim is for her to go to a petite adult rider with experience- and who can offer a five star forever home for this much loved mare.

She is never sick or sorry and is open to any vetting - she is up to date with worming / injections / teeth etc and comes with her saddle / bridle rugs etc

• 🏆 Show Success – Overall Supreme In-Hand Champion at her first show.
• 🐴 Quality Breeding – By Inverin Rocky, with plenty of scope.
• 🌟 Exciting Prospect – very talented mare , loose schooled over 1m and bold to a fence!

Super smart 15.1hh allrounder prospect by Inverin Rocky (connie) out of miss chloe M (thoroughbred)

⭐️priced under what she is worth due to change of circumstances and wanting to see her in a good home before winter⭐️

Bambi was Overall Supreme In-Hand Champion at her first ever show and has since been broken and produced by ourselves. She is now riding away sweetly in the school and is being brought on carefully. Recently gone overall champion riding horse at Pembrokeshire county show (gaining a spin in the hoys price family qualifier )

Loose schooled to over a metre and is proving to be bold towards a fence under-saddle with plenty of scope and has plenty of ability and potential to become a fantastic new face for the Small Riding Horse classes, or equally make a very exciting teenager’s BS/BE prospect. She recently went to her first cross county hire, she was very green as expected of a young mare but was willing and enjoyed poping a few jumps, and has also been down to the beach for a canter along the sea 🌊

Loads and travel well in a trailer and lorry, Good to catch, good to clip, Easy to handle. She is up to date with Vaccinations, worming and farrier and is quiet as a lamb to hack in company. but is still developing confidence when hacking alone and can be nappy at times. although this is improving. She is not a novice ride and needs a competent, confident rider to further her education

Bambi is a talented young mare who is still in production rather than a finished product. She is a lovely prospect for someone wanting to continue her education and put their own stamp on a quality young horse.

✨ she’s a talented mare and in the right hands will make an amazing horse for someone 😊✨

Stunning 16.2hh Chestnut Gelding – Seeking a Dressage/Show Jumping Home

Beautiful 15-year-old chestnut gelding that has competed up to Advanced/4* eventing level. Having enjoyed a successful eventing career, we now feel he’s ready to enjoy a knowledgeable home where he can continue to excel in dressage and show jumping

A stunning horse to ride on the flat with three correct paces, established lateral work and a responsive, trainable nature. He is very well-schooled and straightforward.

His quality on the flat and rideability make him well suited to someone wanting to enjoy dressage, while his careful jump and experience also lend themselves perfectly to a show jumping home.

An exceptionally careful and genuine jumper with extensive experience and success at the highest levels. He is very respectful of his fences, rarely touches a pole and always takes great care with his jumping. Brave, honest and willing, he gives his rider confidence and would suit someone looking for an enjoyable and experienced partner to compete or have fun with in dressage and show jumping.

• A real sweetheart to handle
• Event potential
• Semi blank canvas for own stamp to be put on her

On behalf of a client, I have the lovely Gemma for sale. She’s got the most lovely nature (not your typical chestnut mare to be around)

She’s an absolute pleasure to handle and be around, she’s been here on my yard on full livery for 18 months and is one of the politest horses to handle. Shes for sale due to no fault of her own but her jockey loosing interest in horses to go to college. For this reason she’s not done a lot at all for the last 3 months so is being sold out of work from the field. However she is absolutely open to be sat on for a viewing as she’s great to bring back into work. She’s recently been sat on by a couple of people and solo hacked, taken them into the field and also shown them her walk trot and canter in the school. She needs her muscle built back up so please understand that this horse is not in perfect fitness currently and needs some work to produce her schooling abilities and bring her back to her best potential. Her canter is weak due to lack of work so this the element that’ll need the most work.

She would make a fantastic all rounder, with some consistent schooling, she’s make a fantastic dressage/showjumping or cross country horse for sure. Shes been ridden by a 14/15 year old girl for the last 18 months.

Shes great in open spaces and good with traffic both solo or in company. The majority of her work has been solo for the last 18 months. So this is one of her strengths.

Good for farrier/vet/dentist and fully up to date with everything.

She has unfortunately just failed a vetting post flexion tests due to mild lameness but after then being ridden was totally sound and has since had a vetphysio take a look and she was totally sound and we have a report to support this. Price has been adjusted to reflect this.

Tack included for the right price including a lovely prestige jump saddle and le Meuix bridle.

Poynstown Air Lady (Annie) is a beautiful, compact 16.1hh mare by Air Jordan Z, combining quality, versatility and an exceptional temperament.

Annie has been in the same professional home since she was a three-year-old, where she has benefited from a varied and well-rounded education. She has proven herself to be a genuine all-rounder with established competition credentials in both showjumping and dressage.

In British Showjumping, Annie has competed successfully up to British Novice level, gaining 76 points and £127 in winnings. She has also been successful in the dressage arena, qualifying for the British Dressage Combined Training Final and competing up to BD Novice level. Annie has an exceptionally good walk.

Annie is a loving and kind mare who is easy to handle in all respects. She is straightforward on the ground, good to do day-to-day and has a calm, sensible temperament that makes her a pleasure to have around. While she has a wonderfully genuine nature, she is very much a competition horse, and we are therefore seeking an experienced and knowledgeable home where her talent can continue to be developed.

Her trainable attitude, rideability and calm temperament would also make her an excellent prospect for a para rider looking for a quality horse with competition experience.

This quality mare is available at a very reasonable price. In the interests of full transparency, Annie experienced a minor setback last year that required veterinary attention. She received the very best care available throughout her rehabilitation and has since been thoroughly assessed. She is now back in work, with no concerns regarding her future competition career.

A genuine, talented mare with a proven competition record and a kind temperament, Annie is now ready to continue her competition career in dressage, showjumping or eventing.

• Laid-back temperament, kind nature and always keen to please

Sweeney is a handsome 16.1hh bay Thoroughbred gelding, retired from racing in 2021 and correctly produced into his second career. He is a genuine, kind horse with a lovely temperament, a great attitude to work and a real desire to please.

Sweeney loves his jumping and has the ability to go further than we have asked of him. He has been jumping around 80cm SJ/XC with us and 90cm with his previous owner, who won the 70cm Cotswold Cup, his first event out of racing. He has also enjoyed arena hires, XC fun rides, camps and clinics.

He has not been pushed to his full potential with us, as my daughter has not been interested in competing. With a confident, experienced rider, he could progress considerably further.

Sweeney would particularly suit someone looking for a fun, athletic competition horse, or someone who has competed at a higher level and wants to step down without losing the enjoyment of a forward, capable horse.

He is beautifully schooled on the flat with three lovely paces. Bold, brave and naturally athletic, he enjoys his work and is forward without being silly. He hacks alone or in company and is exceptionally good in traffic, completely unfazed by trains, planes or busy roads.

Sweeney is a gentleman to handle on the ground and onboard, a real pleasure to have around. He is fit, in work and ready for his next adventure.

This is Sonny, sired by Ardad. he has ran on the flat 16 times, just not a racehorse. since being retrained, has come on loads and shows a lot of potential and I am disappointed to have to write this, I just haven’t got the time he deserves.

He has been doing lots of gridwork, xc schooling, which he thoroughly enjoys. He has nice paces and would make an excellent event horse.

No injuries, vices or issues, tidy in the stable and not a picky eater 🍎

Tee is a very lovely 7-year-old mare who has been given plenty of time to develop and has not been rushed. She is now ready for someone to take her on & enjoy.

She is a very willing, genuine mare with a lovely personality and is a really nice horse to have around. Tee has a lovely way of going, with flashy paces and is a very nice, uncomplicated ride.

She has been out to training shows, arena hires and cross-country training, proving she has a scopy jump with plenty of potential and has shown herself to be very willing and enthusiastic. She has recently been BS registered and is ready to begin getting her double clears for 2027. Tee would also excel in BE or as a top all rounder/pony club horse.

Tee is also good to hack, shoe & travels well

Not yet been clipped but don’t see this being a problem.

She has good breeding, including Indoctro & VDL Douglas.

A lovely, quality mare with a great attitude and plenty of potential for someone looking for a horse to produce further & grow together.

This lovely genuine horse is straight forward and genuine in every way. Super safe hack on his own or with others. Jumps well SJ and XC and works well in the school. • Schooling round BE80 xc courses
• impeccably behaved at first showjumping competition

Fergus has been professionally produced over the last 3 months after coming to me lightly backed, he has been very easy & straightforward in all ways.

Went to a showjumping competition after only jumping a handful of times and was impeccably behaved, didn’t look at spooky fillers etc , jumping two lovely rounds and stood on the lorry whilst I jumped other horses.

He has been XC twice and schooled round both west wilts and pontispool BE80 courses, he was unfazed by water, ditches, steps etc.

He is great in open spaces doesn’t get buzzy in warm ups etc and snaffle mouthed for everything.

He is entered into a hunter trial next weekend and will continue to be produced on until he is sold.

I believe he will make a great fun all rounder / pony club / riding club / nsea / cotswold cup type.

A very sad sale due to owner's work commitments.

Bailey is a 17hh, 15-year-old gelding who has successfully evented up to CCI3*. I have had Bailey for 10 years and we have learnt everything along the way together, he has so much still to give but is sadly being wasted at home with me.

An exceptional eventer, but will take time to find his confidence with a new rider in the show jumping phase. He lost his confidence when out on loan 2022-2024, so will need a sympathetic and confidence giving home if show jumping / eventing and time to continue rebuilding. Currently happy jumping around 90/1m courses.

Alternatively he would love a dressage, riding club, fun rides or happy hacking home. Absolutely no problem cross country, hunter trials, fun rides etc. will be a blast!

Bailey has a fantastic temperament, is a pleasure to have around, good to shoe, clip, travel, and is excellent in traffic. He has three quality paces, loves having a job and will make someone a wonderful partner. He cherishes the time on the ground just as much, so a loving home where he will be treated as a member of the family is just as important.

This is a very difficult sale, so finding the right home is my absolute priority. Serious enquiries only, please.
