Offered for sale is Star, bred direct by Kannan out of an Irish jumping dam. With her world class bloodlines and genuine temperament, Star is a pleasure both on the ground and under saddle.

She’s beautifully mannered easy to handle, groom, bathe, and has been ridden by children. Star is not spooky and takes everything in her stride. In the school, she works sweetly in all three paces. She’s snaffle mouthed and a more “woah” rather than “go” type, making her a lovely, safe ride for someone who prefers a calmer horse. She loves being clipped and is good to load travel and shoe as well along with no stable vices

Star has an SJI record as a 5 year old, showing scope and technique over fences. She would suit a rider looking for a kind, quality all-rounder or a showjumping project to further develop. She has recently been recently jumping at training shows and British Novice on a ticket proving to be safe and easy on the lorry, warm up and in the ring.

Reason for sale is that Star is happiest turned out in a smaller group of 5 horses. In a large herd (20+), she becomes unsettled not through nastiness, but due to pecking order dynamics. Sadly, her current owner is unable to accommodate smaller turnout groups due to land constraints, making this a difficult sale for her owners.

Grab yourself a smart horse in readiness for a winter of fun! I believe Eb would be a fantastic hunt horse and all round addition. Ebs ears are permanently forward when hacking, riding through fields or simply having a job. He will go first or last or perfectly happy flying solo, he’s been round dogs, chickens tractors and traffic proving very sensible

Mum bought him as a companion for another horse of ours, direct from his breeder and in all honesty I was never planning to do anything with him. However since being backed and ridden away he has schooled indoors, attended a local event & a RC rally with a fantastic attitude.

He works well in the school albeit still green, however I’m certain would do a lovely future dressage test and gives a balanced ride for the little schooling he’s done. Easy to lunge, ties up and lovely in the stable.

He loves a daily routine, turnout and equally a snooze in his stable! He’s still got a lot of maturing to do and I think he will come in to his own as a 5 year old.

Unfortunately we do not have a job for this boy, we are looking for an experienced loving home who wants a horse to enjoy and not take life too seriously! Due to superficial scarring he won’t be your next HOYS superstar but he will give someone lots of enjoyment!

Star is a lovely mare who is for sale because she is just too big for my daughter who has recently come off a 12:2hh pony and needs something between sizes.

Grade B show jumper who has had many highlights in her career including jumping a triple clear in the Bronze League to qualify for the Final at HOYS, where she went on to jump double clear for 5th place.

Currently, Star is being trained by a professional dressage rider a few times a week, working at Elementary level at home. She would excel at dressage and really tries hard to please. She enjoys hacking and is not the type of horse that needs to be ridden everyday. Would also make an ideal mother/daughter share. Good to handle in all ways; clip, shoe, load, vet and dentist.

We are looking for a 5* home for this sweet mare. Star would enjoy an all round home where she could do a bit of everything. She adapts to her rider and will step up or down a gear where necessary.

Carlos is a very kind and willing horse and has not been phased by anything in his education so far. His dam is by Carentino Glory, 1.60 showjumping sire of many top show jumpers and eventers, including Tom Crisp's 5* Badminton, Burghley and Pau horse, Liberty and Glory. She is out of Dazzling Effects, who did Badminton and Burghley, and who is by legendary GB Team GP dressage European Championship stallion Catheston Dazzler, who was also an Advanced Eventer. He was consistently in the top 20 Event Stallions listings. His dam's side also boasts Advanced Event horses through the famous Welton bloodlines. His sire, Britannia Royal, is an Advanced Event horse and is by Royaldik, whose dam shares the same genes as the most famous eventing TB Heraldik. His dam is Badmiton/Burghley and Olympic silver medalist Headley Britannia, by the legendary Jumbo.

Carlos is a thoroughly modern mix of warmblood, thoroughbred and Irish bloodlines with proven competition backgrounds. He has the expressive movement needed for dressage, sufficient TB to be able to make the time and to be tough, and has exceptional jumping bloodlines to allow him to jump boldly. He really is the full package for the sport.

He is already showing that he moves exceptionally well under saddle and we have every reason to believe that he will excell as a competition horse, in the right hands.

Currently working in a riding school, Buster is regularly ridden by individuals of all abilities—from competent beginners to more advanced riders. He is incredibly steady and never reacts adversely to rider mistakes; if a rider loses balance or a stirrup, he gently returns to a walk without hesitation. Buster is best described as having “more whoa than go,” making him a safe, thoughtful, and patient partner both in and out of the arena.

He remains calm when faced with heavy traffic, including buses, tractors, lorries, and large agricultural machinery. He will wait patiently at roundabouts or traffic lights and never reacts with fear or tension. On open ground, he stays composed at all paces, whether leading, following, or riding solo. He never pulls, rushes, or attempts to overtake—even when returning home.

His exceptional manners extend to every aspect of handling. Buster is easy to catch, groom, bath, load, clip, and handle for the vet, dentist, and farrier. He currently lives barefoot but has previously been shod and is comfortable with either. He stands quietly for long periods without any restraint, happily enjoying being groomed and pampered. Children regularly lead and handle him without issue, and he will calmly stand at the mounting block until the rider is comfortably in the saddle, regardless of how long it takes.

Buster is a genuine confidence-giver who can be left unridden for weeks or even months and still be safe and consistent when brought back into work. He is incredibly low maintenance.He has never suffered from laminitis, sweet itch, sarcoids, or lameness, and has passed all annual riding school inspections with flying colours (equivalent to a Stage 2 vetting).

He currently lives out at night in a large mixed herd and stabled during the day but is equally content stabled or turned out full time, he is happy to be stabled / turned out solo, he is not clingy at all, he absolutely loves people and attention and adores a cuddle. He is quiet, independent, and never causes trouble in the field or stable. Buster could excel at low-level competition, fun rides, beach rides, or simply continue to be a safe and enjoyable hacking partner.

This is a heartbreaking sale, as we regularly rotate our riding school horses to offer them the chance to experience one-to-one private homes. Buster is truly one in a million, and he deserves a five-star home where he can continue to be appreciated for the wonderful horse he is.

“Hottie” by name not by nature is a straight forward young horse with a laid back nature, who will excel in any sphere. She will make a top class allrounder and would suit a variety of riders.

Would equally look great on the hunting field, she is safe in big open spaces and will happily stand all day. Always snaffle mouthed, very light in your hand has never been strong or silly.

She enjoys jumping, is happily popping round a small course of jumps and has plenty of scope. Has not been jumped too much as she has only just started ridden work and has been produced slowly.

She is 100% to deal with in all ways, brilliant to groom, load and travel, and for the farrier. Turns out in a herd with both mares and geldings but equally happy to be alone. Lives on a working farm and is very confident around all farm machinery.
