Dee is a well bred mare who was lightly raced but proved too slow. She was privately bred and trained on a small family yard before being sold to us when she was six.
She has been very easy for my teenage daughter to retrain and has proved to be an excellent dressage horse winning all of her competitions.
She is a brave jumper and loves show jumping and cross country - just takes everything in her stride, never stops or refuses and holds real potential for someone to carry on her education in this sphere.
Dee has attended pony club rallies, riding club training sessions, local events and competitions. She is well schooled with three nice paces. Dee is excellent on the ground and easy to handle, she loads and travels well (we have a trailer). She is lovely to hack out and is happy to go alone or in company - doesn't nap and is 100% in all traffic - used to farm machinery etc.
In the summer she is out 24/7 and during the winter stabled at night. She is happy with or without company. She is good for the farrier, vet, dentist, etc and up-to-date with vaccinations.
She has been seen to pace in the field but this is only at meal times. No other vices.
