Thoroughbred Bay Gelding - 10 years 16.3hh

We bought Brian a year ago as a hack, but we’ve not had the time to use him as we had planned. He is currently exercised by a small female rider who will be very sad to see him go.

He raced until he was 7-8 years old and we bought him from someone who knew his last trainer. He deserves a home where he can continue progressing and enjoying an active life.

He is a dope on a rope in the yard and will stand quietly to be fussed over, doesn’t flinch with the hose, great with the farrier, good feet and generally very easy to have at home. He is currently turned out all day and is in overnight.

Brian schools nicely on the flat with a lovely walk and trot and very balanced canter - snaffle mouthed. His flatwork has come on tremendously since we’ve had him and he is definitely ready to start doing some local dressage competitions.

Brian hacks out both alone and in company, is good in traffic and loves getting out and about. He can have the odd spook at the invisible crisp packet, but is fine with tractors and buses coming past him on the road. In open spaces he is forward-going but enjoyable for a confident rider.

Brian’s jump schooling is developing - he has a habit of throwing his head up after fences when he gets flustered. We’ve brought him right back to trotting over fences and he is gaining confidence and becoming much more relaxed over fences. He could become a really nice allrounder for someone who is willing to put in a bit of effort but is not ready to go out and do a BE next week.

Brian thrives in consistent work and enjoys having a job to do. He is not suitable for novices or nervous riders as he is a sensitive, forward Thoroughbred who will benefit from a knowledgeable and experienced home.

He has a recent set of clean back x-rays, and recent hock scans. We have had his hocks injected for ongoing maintenance - happy for any prospective purchaser to see videos of scans and speak to vet / Osteo.

He passed a 5-stage vetting last year June, I’m sure will fly through another now, has recently seen the osteo, and is up to date with jabs, wormers and teeth.

Tubby is a true yard favourite who’s been part of the family for the past 6 years. He’s a real character, racing isn’t for him anymore and is now ready for something new (ROR eligible.)

He does basic flatwork, he has three balanced flashy paces and carries himself well. He hasn’t done much flatwork previously but has taken to it very well and won’t take much work. He is naturally a real eye catcher. Light in the hand and never strong.

He has ran over both hurdles and fences in his career. He has since started jumping poles which he enjoyed. He is careful and scopey. Makes a lovely shape. If jumping is what your into he would need a confident positive rider who rides him forward. He just needs encouragement to know you’ve got him and he can do it. He would thrive off someone building him up slowly and getting his confidence.

He is a quiet straightforward ride, doesn’t need lots of leg. He is more slow than go. Tubby will happily stand all day. Like name like nature he will eat anything and everything. Lives on fresh air. He’s not the type to waste his energy unless required. He is well mannered with a very genuine character, loves fuss and a brush.

He has hacked out alone or in company around open fields & lanes, he isn’t fazed varying types of traffic. He is a very easy going person, never buzzy or silly. Lives in & out in company. Good to clip, shoe, box & travel. He last ran 15th August so is fully fit and being ridden a few times a week from the field. Has been looked after and ridden by small petite girl.

Echo Gate is an approx. 16.1hh, 8 year old bay gelding out of racing since 2024. Retired sound with no injuries or health problems. He has had a nice long break and started his retaining about 10 months ago. He is schooling well on the flat and has started jumping and is now ready to start going out and about to arena hires etc.

He is good to hack in company and alone, good to shoe, clip, travel and he thrives on good turn out. He does wind suck occasionally, but not when turned out.

Shelby is a lovely, genuine horse with a wonderful temperament, a big stride and plenty of ability. He is forward-going and has plenty of engine, so he is looking for a confident, capable rider who enjoys a horse with some presence and likes to get on with a job.

He is not a naughty or sharp horse — he does not buck, rear, bolt, kick or bite. He simply enjoys his work and rides big.

Gidwa (G) is a 16.1hh 7-year-old Thoroughbred gelding. Fully RoR eligible.

Not a push-button ride as loves life, but he is safe, genuine and incredibly kind.

He is honestly the nicest person and tries his absolute best to do what you ask of him.

He is an athletic, fit TB who although is established is still in his re-schooling phase, so he needs a good, experienced rider who understands Tb's and can give him confidence and consistency.. I am by no means a professional rider and he always looks after me and never even thinks to jib out!

Can work consistently in a nice shape and happily will pop round courses of fences - currently around 90cm / 1m due to rider being out of practice and also wanting to bring him on correctly.

He has been to lots of clinics as well as numerous unaffiliated dressage, sj, XC, ODE's and takes new experiences incredibly well.

He can be fizzy in warm-up rings, more just from low mileage so he needs someone knowledgeable, calm and confident who won't get flustered by him. He has never done anything nasty the most he will do is put his back up if you get on him slightly heavy.

The only reason he is up for sale is because I don't currently have the time/funds to get him out and about as much as he deserves. And he loves his work.

I would love him to find someone who wants to commit to him completely and enjoy getting him out, progressing his education and giving him a job.

I'm not in a rush to sell so will not just give him away for silly offers and if needs be will register him over the winter and get more mileage on.

We have made the difficult decision to sell our gorgeous 'Sir Gareth'. We've had the pleasure of owning him for almost 5 years but sadly now my son is going away for his final year at Uni and I work every weekend, we won't have enough time for him. After lots of crying we have decided to find him a new home.

During his time with us he has enjoyed low level showjumping at local events, had 4 years of hunting which he loves. He is a lovely safe ride, happy to go but also happy to stay at the back. Slim was trained but never raced. Suffered a tendon injury which was rehabbed but sadly a hind pastern injury means he isn’t suitable for a competitive ridden career.

He is fine for a light hack in walk but isn’t consistently sound behind in trot.

Menin Gate (Melon) is everybody's best friend and a yard favourite! He's striking and big but with a calm and warm temperament, and is safe around my child on the yard!

He first evented in '24 and was immediately placed with a low dressage and qualified for the Horse Events Championship. Unfortunately he didn't get to go, and we didn't get him eventing last season as my sister broke her leg! This year the ground has been so hard that despite xc schooling beautifully at the start of the season we haven't managed to get him any runs (we also have quite the team of other horses). We are praying for some rain so he can go out soon!

In the meantime he's been jumping really well at 80/90, and has so much scope! He could have done with having many more outings but unfortunately he's regularly been put on the back burner for other horses.

His flatwork is incredible and he'll easily win in the dressage ring. He's so easy to ride on the flat also!

He's amazing to hack out 90% of the time, but can have his cheeky moments. (My sister rides him bareback so it's not super crazy, but wouldn't suit someone nervous).

He would be perfect to campaign for Badminton Grassroots or as a fun riding club horse for someone fairly ambitious. He has had an old injury to his hock which we've had injected. He is insured with Agria so will be covered for this for life, should it need further treatment!

He is an absolute saint to do everything on the ground with, and to have on the yard in general!

I am looking for an experienced home for my beautiful boy Otto.

He raced 11 times, finishing late last year.

I originally bought him for myself as a project but due to juggling work and 4 young children I have realised I have taken on far too much and as a result he has had a few months off ridden work. Because of this, he is being sold as an unridden project. He will however come with his saddle and bridle, and other bits and bobs.

He has huge potential for dressage, great conformation, amazing floaty paces, I have lots of videos that cam be provided on request. But he will need bringing back into work. My 5 year old and 9 year old have also sat on him and ridden round on the lead rein, videos again can be provided, he isnt however a novice ride as he is still a baby and sometimes acts like it. He is in no way nasty or dishonest.

He has lived out 24/7 with me and is very happy living out, he is great to catch, load, lead etc. But please bear in mind that he is still a baby thoroughbred and will have silly moments. He is also good to travel and load etc.

He will not be sold to anyone inexperienced. He is such a lovely boy and will go far with a knowledgeable and capable rider. I am not looking to profit from him, just to recoup some of my costs and have peace of mind that he is with someone who has lots of time for him.

Kira is a beautiful, quiet natured mare with a wonderful attitude and willingness to please.

She has 3 correct well balanced paces with natural rhythm and is schooling elementary level Dressage. She has established lateral work and is educated on the flat.

Kira enjoys her jumping and is not phased by fillers. She is enthusiastic and careful over a fence showing scope for higher levels. Xc she is bold and jumps ditches/water/steps without issue. She is happy to hack alone or in company and is well behaved in traffic.

Kira has competed in unaffiliated showjumping/dressage and ODE’s with good success and regularly attended camps and clinics. She has qualified ROR regional dressage championships. She is confident and trainable making her an ideal partner for someone to enjoy.

Kira is good to shoe, clip and load. She stands quietly at shows and to be shod. She is up to date with her vaccinations and dentistry and ready to join a competitive home and continue her career.

She has an old scar on the front of her right forelimb which is purely cosmetic and does not affect her in any way. She will weave if stressed in a stable. A genuine allrounder with a bright future.
