Pebble ran once in a National hunt bumper but didn’t show any desire to be a racehorse. She has just had some downtime in the field since then. She would really benefit from having her own person who is willing to start from scratch and work with her not against her.

She’s currently in light work. She does basic flatwork, she has three balanced paces. She hasn’t done much schooling so is very green but is a working progress.

She hasn’t previously done any jumping but I have started getting her over poles and small cross poles which she took in her stride.

She is more slow than go and takes plenty of leg. Never strong. She is still immature, she hasn’t seen much of the world. She has seen all types of traffic when walking to the gallop daily but in company.

Tango is a beautiful 16.2hh, 12-year-old Irish Sport Horse x Warmblood mare, by Darco out of a Baloubet du Rouet mare. She is a kind, genuine mare with a lovely temperament and the sort that's increasingly hard to find.

She is an absolute pleasure to hack, Tango happily hacks alone or in company, will go first or last, is never strong or silly in open spaces, and has safely looked after complete novices out hacking. She's the type you can always rely on to be sensible.

In her previous home, Tango hunted regularly and was described as an absolute machine. She jumped everything put in front of her without getting strong, stood politely at meets, and was happy to sit anywhere in the field. She has plenty of blood and ability for those wanting fun days out hunting, while remaining sensible enough for someone simply wanting a safe, enjoyable ride.

Cross-country schooling has shown just how genuine she is. She is incredibly bold, happily jumping everything asked of her. She took a little encouragement the first time into the water, but this is improving with experience and is simply down to lack of mileage.

Showjumping, she is confidently popping round courses and has been to unaffiliated shows. She remains green for her age in this discipline, with her canter adjustability and steering still developing, but she is naturally careful, scopey and always wants to jump. Her attitude is second to none—even a friend who had never jumped before had a go, and Tango looked after them without taking offence, she goes on any stride and isnt spooky at any fence/filler.

On the flat, Tango has three balanced paces and works in a soft outline. Again, she is still green and would benefit from continued schooling, particularly in the canter, but she has an excellent attitude and is eager to learn. She has also been ridden by novices in the school at walk and trot, where she behaved impeccably.

With a little more education, Tango has all the attributes to make a fantastic grassroots eventer, Riding Club horse, hunter or quality all-rounder. Given another few months, she's the sort that will be flying around BE80/90 tracks with ease.

She is good to catch, shoe, clip, load and travel, and is easy to handle in every way. She's the type you can leave for a week, get straight back on and not worry.

This is a very sad sale through absolutely no fault of her own. Unfortunately, owning a mare has highlighted that our gelding is rather riggy, so we have made the difficult decision to find Tango the loving home she deserves.

Harold is an outstanding 8-year-old full Irish Draught standing at 18hh. I have owned him since he was a 3-year-old and have produced him myself, making this an incredibly difficult decision.

Don’t be put off by Harold’s size, I am a slight 5’7. I have produced Harold since I was 17 years old. He is perfect in every way and a firm favourite on the yard.

He truly is the definition of a gentle giant. Harold has the kindest temperament and is trusted to be handled, led, turned out and brought in by complete novices. He has impeccable manners both at home and away and is a pleasure in every aspect. He is good to load, travel, clip, shoe, bath, have his teeth done. He travels perfectly in a trailer, and I regularly compete on my own with him as he stands quietly and behaves impeccably.

Harold is an incredibly versatile horse who has enjoyed success across multiple disciplines. We have been active members of the British Riding Club, competing and training in groups. He has competed British Showjumping at British Novice and Discovery level, although this has never been our main focus and my own lack of confidence over bigger fences is reflected in his record rather than his ability.

He has lightly evented both affiliated and unaffiliated at BE90 level and is confidently training at BE100. Dressage has been our main focus this last year and Harold has really excelled. Last season we qualified for the Petplan Area Festivals, achieving three top-three placings and a top-ten finish across Prelim and Novice classes. We have recently stepped up to Elementary and are now training Medium movements.

Harold hacks alone or in company, happily goes in front or behind, and is never spooky, strong or silly. He absolutely loves adventures, whether that's mountain rides, farm rides or, best of all, beach rides. He is always ridden in a snaffle in every discipline.

In 2025, Harold was selected to appear on Horse & Country's *All Star Academy*, where he spent a week training with some of the sport's leading professionals, all of whom commented on his trainability, attitude and exceptional temperament.

Smokey Black, serious heavyweight gelding. 17/17.1hh now, but has not got a high wither and feels about 18hh when you're close to him.

This is one serious powerhouse of a Viking warrior's war horse! Looks like Thor should be riding him into Valhalla.

Floats like a butterfly with movement that makes you think he couldn’t possibly have the 10’’ of clean bone that he has. We jumped him for the first time today, and he pops 1.30 without having to make the slightest effort.

He is bold, brave, athletic, smooth-moving, handsome, and totally clean-limbed.

Raven’s father is the famous C1 Irish Draught stallion Corrindon Dancer, who won the Royal Dublin Show. I bred his mother, and she is ISH (Ballinvella) x Czech WB (Falko). Dam is the maternal half-sister to the dam of the multiple winning HW buckskin stallion Hallslake Nimrod (look him up), whom I also bred. The Ballinvella TB in the back breeding has given Raven athleticism and refinement, which, in such a huge and heavy horse, is just mind-blowing when you see him move. Genetically, I believe Raven is technically a Smoky Black as his mother is buckskin, so he has some 'dun' markings on his flank, but otherwise, when not sun bleached, he's very black.

Currently 4 years old and a raw blank canvas, having been with us from a foal. We haven’t ever even put a bridle on this boy yet. We have given him plenty of time to fill up his big frame, and mature. He has had his hooves looked after, been regularly wormed, and come in the barn for winters and lived out all summer in a herd. He is not clingy, is happy to be caught and moved away from friends, and stabled or transported without insecurity. He loads well in a trailer or lorry as he has been moved to different grazing between seasons. He can be rugged or left naked. He has no ailments or allergies and is vice-free, totally clean-limbed and straight-moving. He is kind, clever, and easy-going, naturally bold, and will be easy to break in.

What is his job going to be, and where would you find another one??

War Horse? Hunter? Show Horse? Dressage? Large person eventer? Battle reenactment horse? Jousting? Police horse? He genuinely could be absolutely anything.

We usually start our own horses undersaddle, but sometimes we find that buyers are looking to start from the begining themselves, so we are offering Raven raw initially, but we are also happy to get him backed for his purchasers if it is desired. If he is not sold during July, we will get him going, with a view to doing an hour or two of trail hunting over our fabulous, rugged terrain of Exmoor by Autumn. I honestly think he will be an absolute pleasure to get going and will be one hugely impressive horse under saddle.

Belle is a lovely, sweet-natured mare who we have found to be easy to have around and in all aspects of her daily care.

Castlefield Bishop - 17.1hh Chestnut ISH Gelding by Kannan, age 11.

Bishop holds an FEI record to 140m, Showjumping Ireland to 135m & BSJ record to 125m. This boy has plenty of scope but with not having competed recently due to our daughter having surgery, he would be ideally suited to a rider wanted to start low before moving higher.
