Glenford Margie is an incredible brave six-year-old Class One Registered Irish Draught mare. 

She qualified two years running for the RDS Irish Draught Performance Hunter Final. She was top placed mare in the RDS Irish Draught Performance Hunter 4-5 year old Final in 2025 finishing in 5th place overall. She placed 8th in the RDS Irish Draught Performance Hunter 6 year old and over final in 2026. She also won her qualifier in Rincoola both years and jumped all the qualifying courses with ease. Fin is a handsome, kind-natured gelding looking for an experienced home where he can reach his full potential.

He is good to clip, bathe, groom, and tack up. He turns out happily with others or on his own, loads into both a trailer and lorry, and travels well. He is good in traffic and with farm machinery. He has a sensitive, willing nature and always tries his best to please.

I bought Fin as a happy hacker and pleasure horse and was advised that he was "a bit green". However, he has proven to be much greener than expected and would greatly benefit from a confident, experienced rider who is knowledgeable with young horses and can continue his education.

Fin can be reluctant when leaving the yard and has been known to buck, so he is **not suitable for a novice rider or someone lacking experience with green horses**.

He has been long-reined and lunges well, responding particularly well to voice commands. With the right person, I am confident he will excel and develop into a cracking horse with lots of potential and plenty of fun to offer.

Dyderyck Fan Wopke - Absolute super model of a horse who everyone stops to admire. Deryck was imported from the Netherlands in 2020 and largely hacked out in his first home so very low milage. He is green in the arena where he does need a lot of leg to get going. He is great to hack both alone and in company and in traffic and is completely safe in all ways. If he does spook you will only just stop and stare and just need to kick to get going again.

Deryck has been on hound exercise where he behaved perfectly and was lovely and forward without being strong or silly. Happy to be at the back and very good with both the hounds and other horses. He is happy to stand all day being fussed, often brought in by my daughter and tacked up in the middle of the yard without a headcollar.

He would make a perfect mother daughter share or a family horse, he is NOT a strong, buzzy or hot ride. He will come out the same whether he has had a week off or been ridden all week. He is impeccably mannered and is more than happy to plod around steadily or pick up for a rider wanting more as he has done with me. Finding a horse that is genuinely competitive while remaining this kind and easy to manage is exceptionally rare.

A heartbreaking but genuine sale, only because his rider is ready to move on to the next stage. Zorro is a genuine, much-loved horse who deserves a home where he will continue to be loved and enjoyed as much as he has been with us. I have owned Frankie for over 3 years, previously he was a racehorse, he was turned away and I have brought him back into work myself. He is the sweetest, most relaxed horse I’ve ever known! He is great with kids, other horses/ponies. 100% safe and easy to do! He is unbothered about having time off- if you don’t ride for a few weeks he’s no different. He appreciates a low pressured life.

He rides and leads my children on their ponies, out hacking, hunting and across open fields- never gets silly or strong. He is always ridden in a snaffle. He has been ridden by my 6 year old in the arena, I trust this horse so much!

Frankie has absolutely excelled in dressage. He is very established and well schooled. Working and competing at Novice/Elementary level. He had qualified for the RoR national Championships in prelim and novice and could now easily qualify for elementary. He is a very flashy mover with a big canter with an amazing attitude to learn. He has done plenty of riding club including area and national championships.

He is 100% out hacking, fun rides, riding club, hunting ect.. He loves hunting and is very sensible!! Happy to wait at the back, calm at the meet. He spent last season hunting with the Berkeley. He happily jumps cross country fences and hunt jumps however I wouldn't call him a hedge hopper.

To note: Frankie had a successful kissing spine op on October 2024 which I am happy to discuss. He lives out with me 24/7 but is happy coming into a stable. However given the opportunity he will crib- if you take the option away he doesn’t ever stress it’s just a bad habit from racing yards. Frankie is green when it comes to showjumping, he can be unsure of fillers, meaning he can stop, nothing nasty, but because of this he wouldn't be a novice ride. He has improved dramatically and if I had more time to take him out more I don't think this would be an issue. He is most happy jumping 80/90cm, he has scope for more but lacks in confidence.
