A very sad sale of our lovely chestnut gelding. He always gets compliments where ever he goes ! He has a laid back temperament and has been slowly produced by my teenage daughter since we brought him at 3 years old. He is a very kind boy and easy to deal with on the floor, catch, bath, shoe, clip teeth.

He hunted last season with fox hounds and drag hounds proving brave and sensible. Stands well and isn’t a strong ride.

He has been to arena hires, pony club rally’s, and pub rides. He shows a nice jump his father is a grade A show jumper. He moves very well - his grandfather is Gribaldi . He can be left and not ridden and is always the same. He 150 % in heavy traffic and is rock solid cantering over open fields .

Please no novice riders as he is still young and we want him to go to a permanent home, as he is very special to us.He would be suitable for a wide variety of jobs .

Super smart blood type mare looking for her forever home - competed in Ireland to 1m20 level, snaffle mouthed and forward thinking always wanting to get the other side and very uncomplicated. Recently placed at her first BS show in the UK proving very easy and willing!

She’s been an absolute machine cross country, without a blink jumping some very up to height fences with a great length of stride and so brave so could make a great little event horse for someone wanting to enjoy both disciplines!

Rides very correctly with a nice education on the flat, good flying changes and not the type that needs riding every day. Hasn’t been seen to come out fresh, sharp or silly isn’t phased by much at all! A very lovely horse to have around, well mannered and never rude or bulshy.

Would suit a variety of riders, although she is only rising 7 she would be an older head on young shoulders so could see her in a competent pony club/riding club home or equally someone wanting to do a bit more affiliated/eventing shows.

A proper old fashioned type of horse with a heart of gold, this smashing gelding is looking for his forever home and will bring his new rider a lot of fun. He is incredibly brave, bold and easy and with the upcoming hunting season he would make one of the best hunters in the UK already jumping fence rails, hedges with his eyes shut and proving to be mannerly on autumn hound exercise/hunt rides.

He rides very correctly and softly in the contact not strong and will flat work/jump & hack in the same bridle. Lovely level canter and a pleasure to work with, forward going without being too sharp and finds everything very easy. Has jumped up too 1m40 in the arena at home with ease!

He’s a been there done it, got the T shirt in Ireland being owned by an elderly gentleman and successfully competed in hunter trials, SJ and enjoyed beach rides. We’ve had a lot of fun with him, jumping some big cross country fences without a problem.

Would make the perfect allrounder for someone wanting the horse of a lifetime, he’s very well mannered on the ground and has been perfect to catch, shoe, wash and travel. Wouldn’t be for a complete novice as forward going, but he is very genuine and so easy.

Dory - Exceptional 16.2 6yo mare by Ibolensky - Cornet Obolensky , out of a Numero Uno mother who has produced 6 international horses, with 4 of those successfully competing at 1.45m-1.60m level!

Her mother is also a FULL sister to the exceptional 1.60m stallion 'Unaniem' and has a further 4 siblings competing at 1.55m level.

This outstanding mare is a wonderful, top quality, established young horse. A traditional big classical mare with super expressive paces. Having had the very best start in life her schooling is exceptional, she rides quietly in a soft round shape in all gaits working smoothly both on and off the bridle whilst in a snaffle.

Dory was professionally started in Holland, having numerous podium placings in 4yo classes. One of her top attributes is her versatility which she has recently demonstrated by being ridden by tiny 12 year old boy, with perfect auto changes, popping fences looking after herself and tiny jockey.

With her athletic paces and expressive movement she would wipe the floor clean if she went on to have a BD career, I believe she would climb the dressage ladder extremely quickly and successfully.

Dory has also show jumped to newcomer level, (1.10cm) and jumped age classes here in the UK, currently ridden by myself (petite lady rider),she is very level to ride with a classical hunter jumper technique.

Recently been introduced to natural fences XC, again showing her fantastic versatility. Remained balanced, sensible and level with plenty of scope and shows untapped potential to produce BE.

With her perfect knees and level way of going, she would most definitely be a top prospect to export to the USA for hunter jumpers or general equitation.

Will be starting sidesaddle education (my back permitting) and out hunting with the Coakham Bloodhounds if not sold before.

Dory is a sweet kind mare making her a pleasure to handle in and out of the stable.

Easy to shoe, box, catch, clip.

Travels in both lorry & trailer.

No stable vices

Competitive, uncomplicated and incredibly easy to have around. Jimmy is a lovely kind horse who has successfully competed at Novice and 1* level in Ireland and would make a fantastic prospect for a competitive amateur.

He is a genuinely straightforward horse who is easy in every way. He hacks alone and in company, is uncomplicated away from home and has a lovely attitude to his work.

He has a soft mouth and is ridden in a snaffle in all three phases. He has a nice, level and balanced way to a fence and is a very easy horse to ride, giving his rider confidence while still being competitive.

With his experience and attitude, Jimmy would suit someone wanting a horse to go out and compete and have lots of fun with.

He would be particularly well suited to a competitive amateur, Pony Club, riding club or mother-and-daughter combination.

Jimmy does sometimes wind-suck, and this is reflected very fairly in his price.

A lovely, genuine horse with a proven competition record, excellent temperament and plenty more to give. A very exciting opportunity for someone looking for an experienced, uncomplicated event horse at an attractive price.

CHARLIE

17/17.1hh | 9yo | Gelding

Charlie has been a permanent fixture with me for the past 2.5 years and has given me an abundance of fun and some fantastic days on the hunting field.

He is a lovely big, soppy, golden retriever type on the ground and is completely uncomplicated to do. He’s the sort you could leave the field gate open for and he’d simply take himself back to his stable!

Charlie has predominantly been a hunter, he has taken me across the biggest of country, always getting me to the other side and, most importantly, home safely. We regularly box up on our own and travel to hunt with various different packs.

He stands beautifully at the meet, is excellent with hounds. Goes a good gallop but level headed enough to switch off and stand end of buckle if required too. He can occasionally throw in a cheeky, harmless fly buck when first setting off into canter, nothing nasty whatsoever, simply excitement. Once he’s underway and has had a good run, he is perfect. I’m a very mediocre rider that wouldn’t be the bravest at times but I manage him just fine.

He is bold and brave to a hedge, yet careful enough to measure a gate. Very cool to Xc school, I think he could make a seriously fun team chaser or eventer for someone willing to polish up his flatwork and showjumping.

Charlie enjoys his flatwork and is lovely and light in the hand. He is green when it comes to showjumping, simply because it isn’t something I do myself and therefore we haven’t particularly worked on. My groom adores him and jumps him at home to keep the cobwebs off, and she has also taken him to a handful of shows, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

He hacks alone or in company and is great in traffic, although he might need pat on bin day!

Charlie is a big, bold, brave and incredibly fun horse who could go on to do a variety of jobs. As mentioned above he would be an awesome prospect for someone wanting to event or team chase, or equally a fantastic hunter for someone looking for a horse to get out and enjoy this season.

He has had most of the summer off, as hunters do, and is not yet hunting fit, which is reflected in his sensible price.

Brilliant to catch, load, clip, shoe and mount.

He competed in pre novice/novice working hunters as a four year old and was placed in them all. He has 10.5 inches of bone and will make a middle/heavyweight worker.

From Oct to Feb he was quietly hunted with the Grafton both in and out of the field. He has competed in Young Event horse classes and done some unaffilated events with a top ten placing. He is great x country and very genuine.

He is beautifully bred by TB Hydrogen out of Irish Sport Horse Rose Blossom who was a Royal Windsor Champion working show horse and his Granddam was a Royal Dublin Horse Show ridden hunter mare champion.

He has previously hunted and shown successfully, gaining lots of placings, and has also been to numerous clinics including flatwork, poles and jumping.

He has 3 very balanced paces and works really well on the flat, with a lovely attitude to his work.

He absolutely loves his jumping and has done lots of arena cross-country, show jumping and cross-country schooling. He has competed at 80cm and 90cm and has plenty of scope to progress further. He has all the attributes to easily progress into BE and has genuine grassroots potential.

He is a real pleasure to have at home and is:

Good in traffic

Hacks alone or in company

Good to catch

Loads and travels well

Good to clip

He does need to be held for the farrier, but once held he stands perfectly and is no trouble.

He is a lovely little horse with lots of potential to go out and compete and be someone’s next best friend.

Sadly, I have realised that I don’t have as much time as I had hoped to give him, so I feel it is only fair to find him a home where he can reach his full potential.

He is not a novice ride as he can be sharp, so he needs a confident, experienced rider.

A really lovely horse with a lot to offer the right person. Genuine enquiries welcome.

You name it he can do it.

Ive done absolutely everything with him, I dont have a bad word about him. Flatwork, showjumping, workers, he loves farm rides, XC, hunting, and is brilliant at the beach. Out hunting he looked after my daughter who was at the time 7. Shes jumped him, hes very honest. Hes done PC Camp, Arena XC, BD quest and stays away no problem at all. He is responsive but not forward going or sensitive.

He finds trotting in circles very boring, doesnt do anything bad, just is happier out of the school so if id suggest keeping schooling to once a week if you want to do more than that, your not the home I'd like for him.

Hes very easily kept. Barefoot. Turns out with anything. He was my stallions companion and dealt with him being dominant without any fight. Snaffle mouthed in all situations. Not your typical welsh. Hes one of a kind.

Only for sale as I'm a long way off needing him for my daughter and he just doesn't have enough spice for me. Although if the right home doesn't come up he'll just stay.

Toby is the easiest 4 year old you could hope to meet, he was bought direct from his small breeder in Ireland last year and has been a pleasure to produce. He was backed as a 3 year old, turned away to mature over the winter, has been back in work since the spring, hacking, schooling and a few trips out to arena hires. He is currently a full up 16.3 and might still fill up and out a little more.

Toby is by the very popular Dignified Van't Zorgliet who has offspring jumping upto 1.60m and eventing unto 5*. He has 3 correct paces, a big engine, great natural balance, super rhythm and a lovely jump. He is incredibly straight forward in every way inc loading, shoeing, you can virtually jet wash him off after work and all done with a smile on his face. His is ridden in a snaffle and caverson.

This classy horse has clean limbs, moves straight, great feet and could turn his hoof to anything inc eventing, showing, SJ or make an incredible hunter/masters horse due to his level head.

Sunny

An exception, talented and smart 17.1hh ISH 10yr old Gelding. Sunny is a real gent and has been our family hunter, ridden by myself, my husband and our three grown up children. Don’t let his height put you off - I’m only 5.6ft and feel so happy on board - there’s no ride like him. He is a family favourite and always the one I choose to take visiting - especially if it’s going to be big country. Hunted regularly with The Burton Hunt, in the field…front or back, as a trail laying horse and field mastered. Visited the Belvoir, Cottesmore, Quorn, Bedale, Percy and Berkeley hunts. Hunts all day and more…you don’t need a second horse, Sunny eats up the country with his mega comfortable large gait and jumps as though you just went over something half the size, can take off early clearing everything or take a short one, whichever…….. he keeps you out of trouble and takes it all on his stride. Really locks onto fences - hence I do bit him up for big days but most of the time he’s a loose rein day kind of man, easy in a three ring gag, he knows the job inside out, gives you the ride of your life. Loves hedges, ditches, rails - no country too big.

As a rule we don’t compete but the few, rather unrehearsed (both rider and horse), times we have competed he has been just amazing….skinnies, water, off set strides…doesn’t phase him and he’s even bossed a dressage competition. Good on the flat, changes legs for fun…he started his life in an eventing yard - so it’s all there and he transforms into whatever you ask. Lots of potential to event as well as being the most awesome, comfortable, smart, easy and brilliant hunter.

Sunny is in the absolute prime of his life, never sick or sorry, never been to the vet, a good doer, easy to handle, clip, shoe, box. Lives in a herd but happy in a stable by himself. Hacks alone, in a group, rides and leads (and jumps alongside the horse you are leading or being lead!). I do my horses myself and he easily fits into the routine like one of the gang, no special treatment, no fuss. Currently fit and ready to go Autumn Hunting.

Selling Sunny is not a popular decision in our household because he is a legend and does give you the most incredible days. Therefore an experienced home only for this epic horse and no time wasters please.

We bought Lilly alongside another brood mare, having had a career as a show-jumper and bred a foal. She was hunted during th 25/26 season in South West Wales - proving a reliable mare for any style of rider. She enjoyed every minute.

On the yard her workload has been mainly been hacking out as a companion for other horses. Giving confidence to those around her through considerable a load of traffic. She is good to school and is a safe ride for varied ability.

She's not a hedge jumper but a reliable mare over medium fences/rustic obstacles. A last minute drop out saw Lilly step up to compete at the Royal Welsh inter-hunt relay!

Easy to load (and travels well), catch in the field and handle from the ground.

‘Pie’ is a super, quality horse . He’s

Good in traffic, incl tractors. hacking around a farm alone. Also used to having a big dog with him on walks.

Done BD, unaff sj, XC schooled. 3 balanced paces, very soft in the contact, doesn’t pull. You feel very safe riding him.

Quick learner, careful jumper, super mover with a kind and charming nature which shines out of him; he’s very straightforward.

He loads and travels well by himself or with another. I’ve taken him out on my own no trouble. Stands to be shod, happy to stand tied up. Up to date with vacs/worming and teeth (1 small wolf tooth out a month ago)

Perfect confidence giving project, he really wants to please. No vices. Could do well in any field or aspect required. Potential to do so much and produce with ease. Fit and ready to go out and have a job to do.

17hh 11yr old grey ISH gelding by Gleneven Rebel with Clover Hill lines.

Same home for 3 years where he has mostly been hacking, XC schooling, pleasure rides and camps.

Bought from Ireland where he hunted 3 seasons.

Hacks alone and in company and is excellent in traffic. Good to shoe, box clip etc. Will live in or out , will happily be the only one stabled in a yard without making a fuss. Very mannerly to tack up at events .

Has done local showing with success.

He is a very capable jump, no problem with ditches etc

Would excel in a hunter/ hacking , showing home. Very eye catching, he is capable of much more with someone more confident.

Now the catch …. Alfie had surgery in January for sheath melanomas at Rainbow vets, this was a huge success. He now urinates like a mare which he has adjusted to brilliantly . He still looks like a gelding and you can’t tell anything is different by looking at him . He has no other melanomas or veterinary issues.

Please don’t be put off by this before you see him. It is very common for greys to get melanomas at some stage in life but Alfie is now very, very unlikely to ever get them again. This is all reflected in the price as it is significantly less than I bought him for.

Brave and bold to a fence

Jumps hedges, ditches and big timber

Will give someone a lot of fun, she is a total hunting machine and absolutely loves to jump! A real point and go type who will lock on, happily jumping hedges, ditches and big timber. She has also done a bit of side saddle.

She will happily do gate duties, stand to be mounted.

She is good to box, clip, shoe, and will happily hack both alone and in company. She would not be suitable for a novice; she loves a job and has the brain/ scope to do one!
