Chilli- My lovely 16hh rising 8yo warmblood mare by Harley VDL (heartbreaker)
Safe as they come, would be amazing for a child coming off ponies/ mother daughter share/one for all the family.
Hunted as a 4yo, Currently unregistered due to no fault of her own but she has numerous double clears and wins British novice and discovery and qualified and competed winter blue chip championships 2024
She has amazing technique over a fence, never ever says no and is super careful- has all the attributes to make it to the top but equally is happy to step down.
I bought chilli in April 2024 when she competed at blue chip with the aim to compete, a month later I fell pregnant, she then had a well deserved 6 months off then has been back in work since.
There is nothing about her that lives upto the stereotypical “chestnut mare” she’s super chilled, amazing to handle, load, bath, clip, now wearing shoes, and is used to dogs, goats, pigs, cows, children.
She has been ridden by novice riders, I always hack on my own she’s great in open spaces, on roads and with traffic, I’ve put a lot of schooling into her, she’s light and supple in the contact always ridden in a snaffle, we have done loads of training, fun rides, hound exercises, gallops, waded in rivers and just had fun without pressure but I now feel she deserves to be competing again and I’ve came to the realisation my head isn’t in it anymore after having my little boy!
This isn’t a decision I’ve came to lightly, homes will be vetted and I’d love to stay in touch.
