My daughter has left me and our other 3 horses to go to university. I've now lost my partner in crime and my mojo! Im now happy to just plod out on my old boy. Rose needs a job and loves nothing more than going out in the lorry and being entertained.

She has done a bit of everything bar being out with the hounds. She has done dressage, showing, SJ, arena eventing, pleasure rides, beach, summer hunt rides and xc schooling.

She needs a competent rider in the school to get the best out of her, but perks up when out. Can be nappy and occasionally jog joggy out. For this reason she is not for a beginner. She needs variety and a home where she won't be schooled daily as she will switch off. She's full of character and loves her feed!

She is out during the day and stabled at night. She loves her stable. She doesn't need daily riding - this would probably be too much for Rose! She likes her days off.

She is not blemish free, she has the odd lump and bump. She's had a couple of surgeries years ago and had a foal in 2024. However she has been out competing in workers, SJ and arena eventing since then. She would be a great horse for the family if someone had experience. I'm not a jumper and jump her up to 75cm when I am brave. I don't hack any of mine alone. I hack her with others. She is good with traffic, tractors and trains.

Rose deserves an experienced home who will take her out and enjoy her. She's strong on hunt exercises initially, but settles. I just didn't continue taking her regularly.
A home with some hunting and pleasure rides would be great.

Maisy has done PC camp/rallies, sponsored rides, SJ fun ride going and has enjoyed many trips to the beach with both children and adults. She is a well-known face on the hunting field and absolutely thrives in that environment.

Maisy absolutely loves her hunting and jumping. In the time we have owned her she has never stopped at a fence. She will happily sit anywhere in the field; however, she is best suited in 1st field where she excels, she is keen and enthusiastic about her job. That said, I wouldn’t put a complete novice on her out hunting, simply because she enjoys it so much and may be a little much for someone brand new to hunting if they do not like speed!

At home she loves her flat work and is now working with 3 well balanced paces. She hacks alone, and in company.

Maisy would love to event, and I truly believe this lady will take you places as she genuinely wants to please, she has been a brilliant first horse for my 11-year-old daughter. Maisy has the sweetest personality and will certainly be missed; however, her talents are wasted on my daughter as she has lost interest and just wants to be a happy hacker which Maisy is not!!
