Was supposed to be my “sensible” purchase for mid-life but I want to go back to having thoroughbreds which I’ve had my whole life and just suit me better.

I’ve had him 9 months and he’s been out of work pretty much the whole time. He’s quite “welsh” to handle. He’s not naughty and would never bite, kick, buck or rear - he’s just quite strong and it’s not what I’m used to and I really don’t enjoy it.

The little riding I have done he was fabulous. Followed my husband’s bike off the yard very happily. Rock solid in traffic. Last sat on him just before Easter - can provide videos.

No time wasters. Only experienced, kind, adult homes who have had similar horses previously will be considered. References will be required.

Bought from Ireland over a year ago and produced by myself , a mature lady, Oreo has blossomed into a strapping 16hh stunning boy.
I have taken him everywhere by myself in both trailer and a wagon. We have attended numerous pole clinics, hunt rides, pleasure rides, training, hacking and hound exercise.He is easy to handle and woukd never barge.
Oreo is very brave and willing and only ever ridden in a snaffle.He is naturally forward going.
He is safe to hack on busy roads alone or in company. I often take him out to new places by myself.
He is upto date with vaccinations, physio, dentist, worming, saddle fitter and farrier.
He is good to clip, load, travel, catch, bath and shoe. He has no vices. Currently in herd turnout.
No vet history, never been sick or lame.
He has started jumping courses with my trainer and is ready to go out.
Very amateur friendly but could be too much for a novice or nervous rider.
Would suit a share if one person wanted to do clinics, hacking , dressage and for the other to jump and gallop

Smokey is a finer built Welsh with lovely paces and an excellent character. He is easy to do in all ways, hacks wonderfully alone and in company. Great with any traffic and he’s not a spooky ride ! Has a heart of gold that’s always wanting to learn, will safely carry you over any fence with lovely scope, a real confidence giver over jumps.

He has been with me for a year now to gain some experience and has since been hunting, xc, clinics/riding club, run rides ect. Never been strong or silly. His only fault, can be impatient at times but gets better the more he does! A total noice ride out hacking and at home, then sparks up when out and about giving you that forward feeling.

Would without a doubt make a lovely competition horse in any area. with more schooling, has the basics but in time would produce a lovely dressage test.

Korky is a beautiful 4yo 15hh Connemara cross Irish sports pony. She is a very special pony to us, as we had her full sister to produce on last year, and she was a pony that we were VERY fond of!

She has a fabulous temperament, she is very straight forward and easy nature, she always wants to please and is always looking to answer the questions that you’re asking of her.

Korky has been hunted in Ireland and in England. She hunts in a snaffle, stands at the meet, will happily wait and stand around. She is a polite and mannerly little lady at all times. She has mainly jumped ditches and banks, but has also jumped some timber and hedges.

Korky has been to arena hires and UA sj shows, she is bold over all fillers, in the arena would be where she would show her age, her canter is quite weak still so she finds it much easier to be careful if she is allowed to trot and pop. She can canter to fences, but she does not find it easy to maintain, this is a time and education process with her being a 4yo.

Korky has been xc schooling, she is brwith ditches, steps, water, bright coloured BE fences and more rustic logs etc. she is mannerly schooling in a field and ok wit other horses working around her.

Korky is working sweetly on the flat, she is fairly consistent on the bridle, and improves all the time. She has attended UA dressage shows in intro, she is good in the boards, with the mirrors and in the collecting ring.

She is good on the lorry, will stand at a show or schooling happily with a haynet if she is alone.

Korky is absolutely fabulous on a hack. She goes alone or in company, she is great in traffic, never naps, is golden round the fields, happily ride her in open spaces when it’s blowing a gale! She is an absolute pleasure, very rarely would she ever spook at anything. You could mooch along all day!

She lives in or out , shod in front, good with the farrier, good to clip, good to catch, bath, load and travel. She is a 4yo so wouldn’t be suitable for someone really nervous or novice, but for competent amateurs she will be a fabulous partner to produce on into any sphere!

This beautiful bay gelding is sadly for sale due to business and family commitments. He is well bred and could be suited to many different disciplines from working hunter, eventing, show jumping and hunting. He is well put together, with excellent confirmation, and has straight ground covering paces. He loves jumping and is very scopey and should be out competing at a decent level (not tootling round 60cm with his current owner!). He was shown successfully as a 2yr old and people often comment about his good looks and could be one for the show ring.

He recently attended PC camp at Somerford and enjoyed SJ and arena XC ,and is now ready to find his next home who can crack on. Ideally suited to a competitive older teen or adult to SJ, Event or Dressage, or would suit a competitive Pony Club or confident Riding Club rider. He would make a good eventer, but hasn't done much XC yet, though with a few outings I'm sure he would be ready to go.

The easiest horse to load, travel, shoe, clip and is easy to deal with in the stable and at competitions, he's got a lovely friendly character. He is really good to hack out and loves going on farm rides.

He is very well-bred, out of Farenella Valencia (PBA) by the legendary stallion Fairlyn Gemini. His dam was very successful in the show ring and qualified Hoys hacks, intermediate and cuddy supreme in hand. She won and was champion at many major shows both in hand and ridden.
