Max is a beautiful, much sought after, stamp of horse. He combines bone and presence but is light on his feet and not a cob like ride!

He is a super quality 5yr old, 16.2hh ID X ISH (white book no breeding recorded) gelding. He was purchased from Ireland last Novembe. Max had done some hunting and lots of hacking in Ireland. He was then professionally produced on further in England. He has been hunting and proved sensible, careful and bold. He has attended numerous arena hires, clear round shows, and dressage shows (at intro level due to having a rather larger than life canter!) Max has always proved to have an exceptional attitude towards his education and has taken everything in his stride.

Max is working sweetly on the flat, he has a nice mouth and wants to go to the contact and work correctly. His walk and trot are super, his canter is slightly green as he is a big boy and needs to strengthen up to learn and be capable of collection! He is willing in his brain, has a lovely trainable attitude. He has been to intro dressage tests, and was fabulous in the warm up arena and in the boards.

Max is good to hack alone or in company. He is bombproof in heavy traffic/motorbikes and quads. He is a young horse, and despite how rock solid he is in traffic he still is only the age he is, so if a pheasant flies up underneath him or something jumps out he may have a bit of a spook/jump, but this is to be expected with his age.

Max is very sweet to jump, he is capable of being very good over a fence with a good technique in front, and behind. As stated previously his canter is a little green so he really would benefit from strengthening work to improve the canter and therefore jumping a course fluently in the canter. He is good over fillers, he will trot and pop or canter to a fence.

Max is good to clip, shoe, load on a trailer or 3.5 tonne lorry. He is good to travel, bath, catch. Good to pull his mane etc. he is a lovely horse to have around. He turns out alone/ in a heard / with mares or geldings.

He has no health issues, he has a clean vet cert, and set of X-rays of front feet (due to clients previous experiences with own other horse). Max is for sale through no fault of his own, due to owners change in personal circumstances. In the last couple of months he has predominantly been doing lots of hacking and fun rides and some arena hires.

Not suitable for a total novice as is a young horse.

Blinker does hack alone but is better in company, she can be a nappy , but never a nappy that you can’t get to move, nothing that a strong rider with a good bit of leg and voice couldn’t sort out, once away from the other horses she’s perfectly fine,

Good to load , travel , in traffic , to catch and clip, plait and groom.

Blinker has been to arena hires , hunted , jumped coloured poles and barrels proving to have a lovely jump.

Blinker does have sweet itch but this is managed with a fly rug, she is better with me as flys are not as bad as what she is with her owner.

Blinker is put nicely together and has brilliant feet!!

I would like blinker to go to someone with knowledge that can produce her further , a fun , sweet , willing horse that someone could have a lot of fun with once fully produced. She would be perfect for a team chasing home / hunting and eventing for right person.

Murphy is a lovely steady ride , arm chair canter with 3 balanced paces. Murphy is only ridden in a snaffle and stands at the block while you get on. Fantastic manners and good to tack up etc.. 

Murphy was mainly doing hunting and X country /hacking over in Ireland would be used to the farm life.

Murphy is fantastic to hack all round the woods , and he is perfect in the heaviest of traffic. On your own or with company. You can canter in open spaces and jump logs on him etc.. seen sheep / cows / dogs / walkers, you can open and close gates on him.

Murphy has been cross country and has jumped on and off banks,ditches,in water etc and he never said no, gives you confidence.

More of a kick than a pull ride. Has been ridden by novices. He is a super fun ride but safe ride. Who will turn his hoof to anything !

He is the most straight forward, sensible little horse with a calm outlook and positive attitude to life.
He has three correct, rhythmic paces, beautiful to ride on the flat and secure in his understanding. Good consistent results dressage and could easily progress BD.

He gives a confidence giving feel to a fence and is sensible and genuine both SJ and XC.
He has competed well SJ and is just one of those very hard to find rhythmic, gentle little horses who just do what they need to do. Has attended Camps at Somerford and clinics.

Zeus

The ultimate allrounder who can truly turn his hoof to anything. Zeus is a classy, genuine horse with a wealth of experience and a lovely temperament to match. To a fence, Zeus is a true point and steer type, incredibly genuine, committed, and happy to go from any stride. He gives his rider enormous confidence, always wanting to help rather than question.

In the hunting field, Zeus is an absolute machine. He adores working with the hounds, stands beautifully at the meet, and is the ultimate ditch jumper. He is equally happy to thrust into action on a big county day or to sit back and enjoy a quieter, smaller day. He’ll happily sit anywhere in the field and behaves impeccably throughout.

Although Zeus is straightforward, kind, and easy to ride, he would be wasted in a novice home simply because he has so much to offer. He is a responsive ride and therefore wouldn’t suit an unbalanced novice who kicks rather than squeezes.

He hacks happily alone or in company and is a real gentleman in every way. Outside of the arena, he has always been ridden in a rubber pelham, which he enjoys and goes beautifully in, staying light and responsive in the hand across all disciplines. He will, of course, go in a snaffle, but is simply a nicer ride in his preferred setup.

On the ground, Zeus is every bit as kind as he is ridden, he loves people, children, and other animals, and is a true gentleman to handle. (We call him the cuddle monster!) A genuine, honest horse who takes care of his rider and will offer someone a lifetime of fun, confidence, and enjoyment.

Zeus has had sarcoids removed in the past. They have not affected his performance, comfort, or ability to enjoy a varied and active life. This is an honest disclosure for knowledgeable buyers, but certainly does not take away from what an exceptional all-round horse he is. River has been to numerous arena hires, popping round courses of 90cms and 1m with ease! So
Much scope to go up the levels, he has also been to arena eventing hires jumping the maximum jumps at 1.05m and lots of XC hires jumping up to 1.20s (sommerford park a few times, rectory farm park and Swalcliffe Ec).

River has team chased Spring 2025 and did intermediates in the majority of the Autumn team chasing! , (didn’t even have a cavasson noseband on, just went round in a snaffle with minimal tack) nothing fazing him, hedges, ditches , water, steps etc, fabulous team chaser never says no!!

he has also hunted over some big country and attended numerous ladies days in 2024 and 2025! where he has been impeccably well behaved and learnt to settle on a hunting field. Again jumping everything asked of him, just loves the job and so bold!

River is a horse that needs a job, he loves going out and about , and it’s never too much to ask , he would go out every day to do something if he could! At competition venues he is an absolute pleasure , calm and easy to handle, warm up arenas no problem, and just delivers every single time.

River is fit and ready to go, I would love to see someone continue to produce him and further his education, stepping him through the levels in any discipline.
