Rio possesses the rare combination of size, presence, temperament and trainability required for a police horse. With a very heavy heart, we are having to find a new home for Wayne. He is the MOST sweet natured horse- super gentle and mannerly and just a delightful person to have around.

He is a perfect nanny horse- he hacks out with my children on their ponies and happy to go at the front or at the back. Not hot or silly but just a genuinely easy person to have around.

Dream is an absolutely gorgeous 16h bay roan 4 year old Connemara x ISH alrounder gelding.

Dream is one in a million who has so much class, quality and potential with the most amazing temperament to match. He is very well bred registered ISH being half Connemara and half ISH, he has his full breeding recorded with 5 generations of pedigree. He is a gorgeous unique bay roan with a silver mane and tail and really stands out from the crowd. He has a very handsome head with a kind eye that just draws people to him. He is a super stamp and a lovely desirable size so would suit both teenagers coming off ponies as well as adults alike; making him a super mother/daughter share. He has excellent conformation, clean limbs, is blemish free and has straight movement. He would excel in the show ring in working hunter clases. He is like an over grown Labrador with a very generous “can do” willing attitude that he brings to everything he does. Dream has three super paces and works nicely on the flat. He has a very soft snaffle mouth with a lovely contact feel. He works correctly between leg and hand into a soft outline. He is a lovely medium speed to ride where you can nicely get your leg on him but you haven’t got to keep nagging. He is not at all sharp or hot, he is very level headed and sensible. He makes you feel confident and safe. He is a very good boy to ride with no ridden vices; people can’t believe he is 4 as he is better behaved than most 8 year olds. He would suit lots of riders a she is straightforward but I wouldn’t like him to go to a novice as he is still young and isn’t the finished product just yet. I just think he deserves a rider who knows what they are doing. He is a very easy youngster who has had the correct start and would be easy enough for a competent teen coming off ponies or amateur to produce further. He has such a lovely attitude to his work and is a quick learner who always has a smile on his face. He has been out to a few unaffiliated dressage competitions in Ireland where he was well placed. He has the potential to excel in dressage at riding club and affiliated level.

Dream loves his jumping and makes a lovely shape over a fence. He is very honest and genuine to jump. He doesn’t get at all strong or fizzy, juts super easy and straight forward. He is nice and brave and jumps all fillers and water trays first attempt confidently. He is lovely and rideable around a course of jumps, maintaining his rhythm. He has been out to compete in sj and arena eventing in Ireland, where he won a Horse Sport Ireland arena eventing competition at 80cm. He has been jumping around 90cm at arena hires with plenty of scope to step up to 1m. He is very good to ride at new places and has a very good attitude to his jumping with a lovely adjustable canter.

He is equally as bold over xc jumps. He proved very straight forward and easy to ride jumping everything asked of him including going through the water. He nicely takes you into the jumps but isn’t at all strong, always in a snaffle, very polite. I can see him really excelling as an eventer or top end riding club horse as he is brilliant at all 3 disciplines. He would make a super Badminton grass roots prospect.

Dream is super to hack alone and in company. He is good in traffic and confident in his own skin. If a large lorry or tractor comes past we just stand in a driveway and let him look at it but he’s a very good boy. He is brilliant in open spaces, very sane and sensible. He is very mannerly and will canter happily in any order on an easy rein. He has been on pleasure rides which he loves and is so much fun. He has also hunted on several occasions last season in Ireland where he took it all in his stride. He would be very well suited to someone wanting to combine pleasure rides with competing, or equally just one or the other. Equally he would be lovely for mum to hack whilst daughter competes.

Dream has a superb kind friendly temperament. He’s like an over grown Labrador. He loves people and will make someone an amazing best friend as he is so interactive and forms a really strong bond. He loves all the attention of being groomed and pampered. He is a good to handle in all ways. He lives in and out and is happy turned out next to or in with other horses, he is very quiet in the field and gets on well with all horses and ponies. He is currently turned out overnight and comes in during the day, he is so easy to have around. He is good to shoe, bath, catch, lead ect. He loads perfectly (single handed) and travels like a dream. Samson ⭐️

The Apple of my eye my little Sammy starfish! I bought Samson as a 2yo, and have had the privilege of producing him. He has been the most wonderful little horse and a total pleasure to do in all ways. He is a much sought after cross Connemara x draught, he combines native hardiness with athleticism and a cheeky but very level headed.

Sammy is good to hack, alone or in company. He never naps. He is good in all traffic/bikes/farm machinery. He is super to ride in open spaces and big grassy fields. He has been on a couple of steady fun rides and was very good and not phased by anything.

He is working well in the school for his age. He works in a soft outline and is very balanced. He has a goos mouth and is really working well in the contact. He canters on the correct lead and has a basic understanding of lateral work. He has attended a couple of prelim dressage tests and has always done a sweet test and been in the ribbons! He is not bothered by the boards and isn’t spooky in the arena.

He has been to the beach and was perfect in a snaffle and not strong cantering with others.

Samson is showing lots of promise over a Showjump. He has been to some arena hires and a couple of unaffiliated shows. He has never stopped at anything and is super willing and careful. He is an easy horse to ride to a fence as he is always looking ahead to the next job! He has a lovely even canter around a course, and I can’t wait to see what this little chap does in the future. He is a forward, fun and very safe ride, he is the kind of horse that you always have a smile on your face when riding!

Samson is wonderful xc, he is very brave with water/ditches/skinnies. He has been xc schooling on an arena as well as on grass.

Sampson is a super talented jumper, he easily loose jumps 130 for fun. He is a super exciting prospect for the future for riding club / pony club/ grass roots.

He is good to do in all ways, he is good to shoe, lives in or out, good to bath, load, travel, catch. He is good with other horses. He is a plucky, jolly little horse. He has a fabulous attitude and he is super intelligent. I would like to see him in a home produced on to event as this is where I think he will shine. But similarly he will be happy being loved by someone! Open to any vetting. Doesn’t move totally straight so wouldn’t be for someone to show at a high level.
