Vinny is a genuine, kind natured 5 year old Irish Draught x Irish Sport Horse Gelding with a lovely attitude and a bright future ahead of him. Standing at 16hh, he is a very polite young horse who is green purely because of his age. He is willing to learn, takes everything in his stride and has proved to be sensible and straightforward in his work. He has an honest temperament and is the type that genuinely wants to please. 

Vinny is a smart, well put together gelding with three flashy, balanced paces and a quality movement that catches the eye. He has all the attributes to develop into a fantastic all-rounder, riding club horse, eventer, hunter or quality family horse with continued education.

If you're looking for a horse that restores your faith in riding, Fanta might just be your man.

He's quite simply one of the straightest, kindest and easiest rides we've had through the yard. The sort that gives you confidence rather than taking it away, and genuinely wants to help his rider every step of the way.

Show him a fence and he'll jump it. Any line, any stride, any distance – he'll do his absolute best to sort it out for you. He's incredibly honest and would quite happily jump the moon if you pointed him at it.

Out hacking, he's just as lovely. Happy alone or in company, forward enough to be fun without ever feeling strong or silly. He's the type you can relax on and simply enjoy.

On the ground he's an easy horse to have around. The only negotiation you'll have is occasionally convincing him to leave his bedroom in the morning… a treat usually wins that discussion! We've also been told he can sometimes be a little opinionated for the farrier and may appreciate a Lickit to keep him occupied.

He was no trouble for us, but we'd rather mention it than pretend he's perfect.

Fanta would make an outstanding Riding Club horse for someone wanting to get out and enjoy themselves, or equally he'd be a fabulous mother-and-daughter share. He's safe, genuine, forgiving and the sort that makes every ride enjoyable.

Ballylee Sprinter - Teddy

Teddy is a true gentleman. He has so much to give for such a young horse with three uphill lovely balanced gaits. He has scope to burn, jumping with my 9-year-old daughter everything she points him at. His still young so no novice or beginners. This boy will go very far. His so genuine and kind. Would excel in any discipline. He has great confirmation for the showing ring. He is a true well-bred Connemara.

Hacking, well what can I say he goes over and under motorway bridges. He has had artic lorries drive so close I felt claustrophobic, but teddy did not bat an eye lid. His is so brave and chilled. My children handle teddy in all aspects of life. He falls asleep being clipped.

He is 6 so please only people that really want to bring out his true purpose in life. We will continue his education until the right home comes along. My son adores Teddie and if my circumstances were different, he would not be for sale. He loads, clips, farrier, hacks, jumps. His up to date with everything. He enjoys clinics, pole work, arena work and is bold and genuine cross country, happily jumping ditches, hedges, water and steps. He thrives on variety and is happiest when he’s busy, making him ideal for riding club activities, hunter trials, arena eventing or grassroots eventing.

He has hunted well with us, both in the field and whipping-in with hunt staff, proving to be genuine, sensible and happy to work all day. However, we feel his future would be best suited to a varied home where he can enjoy a mixture of jumping, clinics, hacking and hunting, rather than solely hunting.

He hacks confidently alone and in company, loads and travels well in both trailer and lorry, turns out happily with mares, geldings or on his own and has no stable vices. He is good for the farrier, dentist, physio, washing, grooming and to hog, making him an easy horse to have on the yard.

He is not a novice ride as he can be forward and enjoys his work, but he is genuine, honest and rewarding for a rider who wants a horse to get out and enjoy.

For complete honesty, he requires Domosedan for a full clip and underwent successful kissing spine surgery several years ago. He has fully recovered, has remained in consistent work and this has not prevented him doing the job we have asked of him.

It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I offer my beautiful mare Inka (Bowland Diamond Endeavour) for sale due to a genuine change in personal circumstances. She has been with me since she was a foal and has been lovingly raised in a family environment, making this an exceptionally difficult decision. Standing at 17.1hh, she is a quality, pure bred registered Irish Draught mare out of a Hornby Premium mare, sired by RID Diamond Lodge. She was professionally backed earlier this year and has taken everything in her stride.

She is still green in the school, so she is not a novice ride and will require a knowledgeable, experienced owner to continue her education. However, she has all the ingredients to make an outstanding lifelong partner. She has shown a real willingness when hacking and happily goes out both alone and in company.

She has the sweetest nature – kind, genuine, and easy to have around. She is good with dogs, not mareish or bolshy, and has been brought up with plenty of love and attention. Pebble ran once in a National hunt bumper but didn’t show any desire to be a racehorse. She has just had some downtime in the field since then. She would really benefit from having her own person who is willing to start from scratch and work with her not against her.

She’s currently in light work. She does basic flatwork, she has three balanced paces. She hasn’t done much schooling so is very green but is a working progress.

She hasn’t previously done any jumping but I have started getting her over poles and small cross poles which she took in her stride.

She is more slow than go and takes plenty of leg. Never strong. She is still immature, she hasn’t seen much of the world. She has seen all types of traffic when walking to the gallop daily but in company.

Lives in & out in company. Good to box, travel & shoe (currently barefoot.) No previous injuries. No sarcoids. No blemishes. No lumps or bumps. No vices.
