Super Bronze league / Fun competitive horse

16h Grey Gelding, 8 years old, exceptionally well bred KWPN.

This smart boy has it all. Beautiful flatwork, flashy and sensible, rocking horse canter and auto changes, with a super careful jump.

Jumped to Newcomers well, and been to stay away shows and behaved impeccably, a true gentleman in every respect. Easily loads on the trailer or lorry and easy to do everything on your own.

Would be a super horse to Event / BD, he's easy to ride with established changes and daisy cutter paces.
Has XC schooled showing bravery and straightforwardness.

Hacks alone and in company in the heaviest of traffic.

This horse would be a great asset to a keen competitive amateur who wants to do a bit of everything on a super smart yet level headed horse.

Great to clip, load, lead, bath.

Scotch was purchased and vetted last July for young boy coming of ponies, but has grown to 6’2 and has now bought a 17.1, so owners are keen to see Scotch in a new home doing a job.

Rosie is a lovely horse to handle in all ways, to shoe, box, clip, groom. She has been handled by children and always been foot perfect.

She is well hunted and is as brave and honest as they come when it comes to jumping, she has jumped the biggest of country out hunting, no lead required, queues and waits her turn and she stand at the meet like a lamb.

She has very flashy, engaged and floaty paces, she is starting to leg yield and offering changes nicely. She had XC and SJ schooled and has also led over her first team chase. Totally unphased by fillers and scary fences. Has schooled over some 130 fences with her eyes closed! She takes a miss, you could never offend this mare she has a heart of a lion. She is more than capable to be one for the top in capable hands!

Even tho she’d make a top level showjumper/eventer/hunter she is a super straightforward and easy mare so would also suit someone wanting a flashy allrounder without any sharpness or quirks.

Plenty of photos and videos available on request.

Bertie is a super smart ROR, he will excel in eventing and would be a prime candidate to aim for the Cornbury racehorse challenge - although he could do anything as he has a real sensible head on his shoulders and could just as much hack around the lanes and be your best friend.

He finished racing at the end of last year and had a lot of downtime before I got him. Although he is 7, he is a big framed horse and does still need time to fill out and strengthen up. I have taken him to arena hires, clinics and cross country schooling and he is very sensible out and about as well as hacking. Other horses don’t seem to upset him, in fact he doesn’t really seem to be phased by much!

I have recently had his teeth done and he has seen the physio, as I said above he does need to time to develop so I haven’t pushed him and we spend a lot of time hacking up and down hills to try and build up his hind end. He moves beautifully and has a really lovely balanced canter, he is very sensible to a fence (and away!) and is proving to be very brave.

He is very easy to deal with and currently lives in with daily turnout, he is shod all round and has been very good to do, I haven’t clipped him since I have had him. I travel him in a trailer but was also
told he loads and travels well in a horsebox.

He really will be your best friend and is a very trusting genuine horse that seems to love everyone! If I could find an owner for him he really wouldn’t be going anywhere but I just cannot afford to run 2. I would also happily keep him with me once sold for further producing or teaching for you and help during the changeover period. Lots of options available. I really do want to see him in the best home and be given every opportunity for success.

By OBOS Quality

Luna is an amazing mare who has done a bit of everything. She has successfully competed up to 1.20m and, with Grace McGarry, has won numerous Amateur 1m classes over the last year.

She has also hunted, cross-country schooled, enjoyed beach rides, and is as brave and genuine as they come. A straightforward, honest mare who always tries her best.

Easy in every way – to load, shoe, catch, clip, and handle. She would make an ideal partner for a young rider, amateur, or anyone looking to have fun, be competitive, and move up the ranks.

Luna can be a little nervous on the road when hacking alone but is perfectly happy with company.

She has been with me for the last 6 years, making this an extremely difficult sale. Therefore, serious enquiries only please.

A super smart, quality gelding with a fabulous outlook and a very versatile profile – a horse that would suit a wide variety of ambitions and is equally appealing for grassroots eventing, riding club activities, hunting or an all-round competition home.

A full Thoroughbred, though very much not your typical fine or weak type. He has substance, presence and a quality sports horse look about him, often passing as more of a traditional sport horse model. Importantly he is not ROR eligible, having never been in race training.

Bred at Gatcombe Park before being purchased by his current owners as a two-year-old, with his full history known. His dam competed as an event mare, whilst his sire was noted for his jumping ability, and he certainly reflects those attributes in both his attitude and natural athleticism.

A very handsome gelding with an excellent way of going. He works in a correct rhythm with a purposeful walk, a balanced and forward-thinking trot and a naturally uphill canter that is easy to maintain. He gives a lovely feel under saddle and is an enjoyable, uncomplicated ride.

He has jumped around courses of 80/90cm and proves to be an incredibly genuine and forgiving type over a fence. He is very much a push-button ride, happily helping his rider out and taking a miss without becoming offended or sharp. He has all the foundations to continue producing in the right hands and would make a very smart grassroots event horse.

Out hacking he is reliable and well exposed. He hacks alone and in company, is sensible in traffic and has seen plenty of village life and general activity. He has also travelled away to clinics and arena hires, proving straightforward and easy to take out and about.

He has been ridden by a teenager, further highlighting his rideability and versatility across different riders.

On the ground he is a lovely horse to have around with a kind personality and easy nature. Good to clip, excellent in the stable and travels particularly well on a lorry. He is better on a lorry than a trailer. Good to trim and handle, though he does require a small amount of sedation for shoeing (not IV sedation).

A genuine, attractive and likeable horse with plenty still to offer and the attitude to excel in numerous spheres.

No silly offers.
Tack available.
International transport can be arranged.

Castlefield Bishop - 17.2hh Chestnut ISH Gelding by Kannan, age 11.

Bishop holds an FEI record to 140m, Showjumping Ireland to 135m & BSJ record to 125m. This boy has plenty of scope but with not having competed for over six months he would be ideally suited to a rider wanted to start low before moving higher.

Bishop has also done abit of everything and with this would also be suited as a great allrounder horse - he’s had a mixture of competing, hacking, arena hires etc. Bishop has also previously been XC trained to advanced level and has trial Hunted.

On the ground, Bishop is a pure gentleman who has wonderful stable manners, a complete BFG! He will stand all day, loves his cuddles. He is super to travel and is excellent to clip, farrier etc and always a yard favourite.

Bishop has been well- schooled and has three lovely paces. At home, he is hacked out by himself and also in company on country lanes and is good with traffic/farm machinery. He is genuinely a super horse ideally suited to someone wanting a long term partnership.
Bishop has been kept in work and is fit and ready to go to his new home.

Oscar has demonstrated competitive experience at the 1.20m level with an amateur rider. He is distinguished by his exceptional hind leg technique, impressive scope, and spirited temperament. This tall horse possesses significant potential, originating from a lineage of Grand Prix performers.

His sire, O’Neil van de Bisschop, a ten-year-old son of Diamant de Semilly and the 1.70m Grand Prix mare Jade vd Bisschop, has competed at the 1.45m showjumping level with Mario Deslauriers.

His dam, Autin (by Come On), has also produced Mc Laren-Tren, a seven-year-old showjumping horse competing at the 1.30m level. She is a half-sister to the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Orage and Titus, as well as two 1.30m level horses. The granddam, Kristin (by Rex Magna xx x Rigoletto), is a half-sister to the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Onze Fons (a KWPN approved stallion), Briljant, and Jubilee.

Oscar was imported from Holland with the intention of being campaigned by my son. However, his exceptional potential exceeds our current capabilities. He is fully current on all necessary care and possesses no vices.

A complete set of X-rays and a 5-stage vetting report are available.

Topper is an absolutely gorgeous 17h 5 year old bay class one registered Irish Draught gelding.

For sale on behalf of his owner

Topper is one in a million who has so much quality and class combined with the most amazing genuine temperament. He is a very impressive horse who stands out from the crowd and catches the eye. He is a well-bred fully registered Irish draught with 5 generations of pedigree recorded. He is a very good stamp with plenty of bone and substance and a real leg in each corner. Ideal gent or ladies horse. He has excellent conformation and straight movement. He would excel in the show ring in hunter classes. Has shown at Equifest last year in the ridden hunter class where he came 3rd. He is the full package to excel across all riding disciplines which makes him the perfect alrounder. He has also hunted on several occasions last session with the Quorn and South Notts hunt making him an ideal hunter too.

Topper works well on the flat. He has three very good paces that are nicely balanced and comfortable. He is light and soft in the hand and works nicely up to the contact from between leg and hand. He works in a nice outline for a more competent rider and equally rides around with a level head carriage for a rider not interested in riding him into the contact. He is ridden in a snaffle for everything expect for hunting where he went in a 2 ring universal. He is on the steady side of medium to ride in the school where you need to use your leg to keep him going and push him up to the bridle. You haven't got to be a technical quiet rider to ride him, he will take a kick and a wobble. He isn't a novice ride though as he is big young horse so still needs producing further to reach his potential, but he has a lot to give and would go out and do a nice preliminary dressage test now with more to come.

Topper loves his jumping and makes a nice shape. He is nicely forward going into a fence and is very honest and genuine to jump. He jumps all fillers and water trays first attempt confidently. He is very ridable around a course of fences. He has currently jumped around 80cm courses at arena hires. He has also attended some riding club clinics which he has really enjoyed. He isn't always the most careful over coloured poles but he likes to have a go. He has also been xc schooling where he proved to be very genuine and jumped over a ditch and went straight through the water as well as jumping all the usually xc fences. He respects solid fences well. He jumped some big hedges and timbres when out hunting so does have the scope there.

Topper is lovely to hack out in company, he hasn't gone out alone yet as both myself and his owner are based on busy roads and with him only being young we have been taking him out with another horse. He is good in traffic. If a lorry comes past we turn him into a gateway so he can stands well and watches it pass with a little space. He is very sensible in open spaces and not at all sharp or silly. He will go in any order within a group where he is very mannerly and will canter happily in any order. He has attended some pleasure rides where he has always been very well behaved. He has also been to the beach where he loved cantering along the beach and having a splash in the sea. He would be very ideal for someone wanting a straight forward fun horse to take on pleasure rides. He would also be very much suited to a hunting home. He has been hunted on several occasions by a man and also by a competent teenage girl. He stands very well at the meet and goes along well in the field.

Topper has a friendly and kind temperament. He is lovely to have around and very easy to handle. He puts a smile on your face every day. He loves people and will make soone an amazing best friend. He is always good to catch and lead in. He loves all the attention of being groomed and pampered. He lives in and out and is happy be turned out next to or in with other horses. He is great to shoe, wash and clip. He loads perfectly and travels well in a lorry or trailer. He is a very easy horse to load, travel and go off to an event on your own, he is also very straight forward to ride at new places. He really is such a genuine honest horse who deserves the best of homes.

Topper is a good fun allrounder that will have a go at everything. He would excel in a hunting home, he would also be ideal for pleasure rides and hacking and he would be a good riding club allrounder too. This is a sad sale for Toppers owner that has owned him since he was 6 months old so full history is known. He sadly doesn't have the time for him anymore. He is very sound and healthy and open to vettings. He does have a small sarcoid under his groin which has stayed the same for over a year and doesn't affect him. It's actually started to shrink recently since being fed radiance gold. This is reflected in his price and with no horse being perfect this is a small price to pay for a quality genuine horse. Lots more photos and videos available via WhatsApp. Based in Ramsey Peterborough. Please send me a message on WhatsApp or call Katherine on 07460820294 £11,500.

  • Not had a pole this season
  • Lovely and sweet temprement

Stan has had an excellent season so far, finishing in the top five at four events this year. He would have won two of those events were it not for speeding time faults. His last three dressage scores have been 22, 23 and 25, and he has not had a pole this season so far.

He has jumped up to 1.10m British Showjumping on a ticket

This winter he has hunted, team chased and hacked with his owner, who is in her 50s.

Stan's full history is known since birth. He spent time in race training but never raced.

He is a pleasure to own, good to hack alone and in company, straightforward to clip and shoe, and easy to handle both at home and at events. He is a genuine, kind horse who is well mannered around the yard and travels well.

Stan has previously had sarcoids removed, which is reflected in his price

8yo Homebred mare by Urkel and out of an ISH mare by French Buffet . Grey 16.3.

Numerous double clears at BE100 and 105 BS .

She has done a lot of hunting , is snaffle mouthed with an engine . Stands at the meet and polite in the field or at the front .

Good to do in all ways. S

he would make a super grassroots prospect or up country hunter . Scopey over a fence and a flashy mover .

Would be good enough to show.

Very sad sale of a much loved mare so absolutely no time wasters
