Grace – Eye-Catching & Talented – 15.3, 7yo skewbald Mare

Grace is a stunning 15.3hh, 7-year-old skewbald mare with real presence and quality. She turns heads wherever she goes and has done very well in the show ring, consistently impressing judges with her movement, manners, and overall picture.

Will jump any thing cross county Bold & brave – Successful in showing – competitive and beautifully presented

Hunted – Loves her hunting , sensible and enjoys her job , stands at the meet , good with hounds and will jump anything

Dressage experience – works nicely on the flat with established basics, has done some dressage

She is a genuine, versatile mare who is forward going yet sensible, kind in temperament and willing to please.

Easy to manage – good to box, shoe, catch and clip and easy to handle on the ground

Hacks alone or in company – confident and well-behaved

Honest note: Show jumping is not her favourite phase, so she would be best suited to a home focusing on showing, hunting, dressage, riding club or cross country rather than show jumping.

Cabana is an 11 year old 15.2 Irish mare.

With us she has showjumped, done farm rides and XC schooled. Previously she had evented and hunted.

Despite being only 15.2 she has lovely big moving paces and takes up the leg (rider on photos/videos is 5'11). She would be a really fun PC RC/grassroots horse.
Eligible for BN and would be ideal amateur & veterans horse. She is forward thinking to a fence (although not silly) so wouldn't be for an absolute novice.

Good to catch, shoe, box, clip. Up to date with all jabs, worming, teeth etc. Open to any vetting (she does have 1 small sarcoid on inside hind leg that hasn't changed, has been checked by a vet and said would not affect her in any way).

Based 15 minutes from Aintree.

DINKY – Talented 7yo 16.1hh ISH Mare with Huge Potential

Dinky is a lovely 16.1hh mare with plenty of scope and ability. She’s competed up to Discovery level in British Showjumping and has shown real potential to progress much further in the right hands.

She had a slow start to her career and, although she’s good to shoe, clip, have her teeth done and travel, she hasn’t been out much recently due to lorry issues, through no fault of her own. She’s eager to get back out competing.

Dinky is a forward, sensitive and intelligent mare with plenty of character. She can be sharp at times and will throw in the odd buck, but she’s not nasty and always tries to help her rider out. She’s best suited to a confident, competent adult rider who enjoys a responsive, energetic horse.

She hacks alone or in company, is very confident but never strong, and absolutely loves an adventure. Not a nappy type at all and enjoys getting out and about.

Ideally, Dinky would thrive in a professional or experienced showjumping yard, where she can properly start her career with a rider or trainer able to channel her talent and put their knowledge into her. In the right environment, she has all the ingredients to go far.

Competed up to Discovery
Plenty of scope to go further
Hacks alone or in company
Easy to handle on the ground
Ready to get back out and shine

Would make a fantastic competition partner for someone looking to bring on a talented horse with bags of ability and personality.

Versatile, genuine, competitive

A smart, eye-catching cob with a lovely, kind temperament and a willing attitude to his work. A true allrounder who has proven himself across a variety of activities including jumping, flatwork, and team chasing.

Bold and brave to a fence with plenty of scope, yet remains sensible and straightforward on the flat. Works nicely in an outline. Making him an enjoyable ride.

Hacks alone and in company, good in traffic, and easy to handle on the ground. A genuine, reliable type who would suit a Riding Club, Pony Club, or someone wanting a fun and capable partner.

Has had some time off over winter due to rider commitments, so price will increase the more he is brought back into work.

15.3/16hh TB Dark Bay Mare.

A lovely horse who has been well produced after finishing her career in racing.

A versatile horse who is looking to carry on her education and fun in any sphere. She has turned her hoof to BD dressage and qualified for Petplan Area Festivals as well as SJ and XC.

She has recently completed two Cotswold Cup competitions and is very bold and honest and takes it all in her stride. She would make a fab Tet/Team chase horse as her strength is XC. She is not strong or silly and never spooks at fillers etc. She seems calm at events and is easy on the lorry and to do everything with.

She is fabulous to hack, clip, shoe etc and is an easy horse to have on the yard. She hasn’t hunted but we can’t see why she wouldn’t love it.

She is looking for a competitive and knowledgeable home where she will thrive. Ideally someone who doesn’t have a huge budget but is looking for a good horse to have a lot of fun with.

She had colic surgery in 2023 but has never had an issue since and has been with the same owner since the operation. This is well reflected in her price and should bear no consequences for her future as she has no different management to any other horse on the yard.

Very fussy RID Mare, stands around 17.1 (not been measured for a few years).

Happy to go on point, gate shutting or with the main field. Hunts in a drop cheek snaffle.

Solid performer in the arena, with the potential to go up several more levels. Has all the basic of Travers, Shoulder in, collection all coming on well.

Has shown very well (I only did it for her education as I personally don not enjoy it!).

Regrettably a lack of time due to family illness forces the sale.

Extensive wardrobe, plus GP & DR saddles and bridles available by separate negotiation, she has not wanted for anything ever!

Beautiful Dapple Grey RID mare with a full Class 1 pedigree. "Darla" is ready to go for grading this summer. She has a kind, trainable temperament, and is a lovely horse to work with. I'm 5' 3" and do everything with her on my own. Howling wind, tractors in the yard, she's not bothered. Good to mount, bath, clip and shoe.

Darla has 3 comfortable, balanced paces and doesn't ride "big" at all. Does everything in a snaffle. Happily jumping small courses with scope to improve. She has hacked, hunted, showjumped and done fun rides in Ireland.

She's still learning to hack out alone as our current yard is on a busy road, but is good in traffic.

A special mare, that rare sort who is sensible enough for a novice, but quality enough to be enjoyed by a more experienced rider.

15.2hh Piebald Gelding | 9 Years | Outstanding Allrounder with Presence

CHAPS Passport

Numpty is a striking 15.2hh piebald gelding, 9 years old, with a huge personality and presence to match. A true “sports horse in a cob body” – forward-thinking, enthusiastic, and always keen to work. He is a real substantial traditional cob.

He is a versatile allrounder with experience across multiple disciplines including;

Hunting, where he has jumped hedges, rails, walls, ditches, traps etc. He has been hunted by other people. He even took a friend for her first ever days hunting. Often holding gates for the field to pass through. Will stand impeccably at meets and between lines.

Showjumping, arena hires, pole clinics, cross-country schooling, hunter trials, team chasing, dressage, endless funrides and showing. He is consistently placed in the ribbons. He has also stewarded at hunt scurries and will happily lead other horses. He doesn’t get fizzy or silly at any event, he will stand around quietly whether on the box, tied up or mounted.

An absolute pleasure to hack, super safe!! Forward going. Completely unfazed by traffic and excellent with gates. He will happily stand patiently while gates are opened and closed, whether mounted or dismounted. He will allow a rider to mount from anything. He adapts well and can plod along quietly on the lead rein or take care of a novice rider out hacking, including unbalanced riders. He has been hacked out along a busy A road by a complete beginner! He does not react to other horses being stupid, he’s the type to stand and wait if another horse takes off, often takes the lead past scary objects! He doesn’t get silly in open spaces will happily walk, trot, canter or gallop through a field. Respectful of what you ask from him. He has been regularly ridden and competed by my competent now 11-year-old daughter, who also hacks him out alone.

That said, he is not a novice owner’s horse. He is intelligent and knows his job—he will test boundaries and needs a confident, consistent rider/handler to get the best from him.

Forward-going in the school with a willing attitude and three correct paces. With his eye-catching markings and presence, he would excel in the showing ring. Equally enjoys just being a happy hacker.

* Excellent to load and travel in a trailer; stands quietly for long periods
* Happy to stand tied to the box for hours or remain on board
* Good for the farrier
* Can live in or out; happy alone or in company. Prefers to be in during wet weather
* Easy to keep—lives on fresh air
* Fit and ready to go

Bad points - he can’t be perfect with everything!

* Requires sedation for clipping - only hogged for hunt season
* Windsucks occasionally after hard feed/treats (not always and does go days without doing it) will typically do this in the air for a few minutes. Solution would be no hard feed/treats.
* Has a couple of very small sarcoids on his sheath, haven’t changed in the years I’ve owned him, could be treated but have never bothered me. You would never notice them unless pointed out.

He is very much a “one-person” horse who forms a strong bond with his owner—once you have his trust, he gives you everything. Affectionate in his own way (he loves kisses!) but not one for being fussed by everyone.

A very difficult and genuine sale of a much-loved horse. Owned for nearly 3 years and originally purchased as a project, but fell in love. Sadly, I have had to accept that he is just too quiet for me, and it is time for him to find someone who will fully enjoy and appreciate him.

A real head-turner who is always complimented wherever he goes!!

Absolutely no dealers or nervous/novices. Long term private home sought after!! A home where I could ideally keep in touch.

Open to any vet/inspection

Attractive and quality eventer, was in training to race but never ran, has started eventing this year and taken to it really well. Previously in an amateur home. Settled into our routine and system very easily, a nice horse to handle and have around. Double clear at BE100 and also picking up 4th and 6th placings, never had a xc fault.

Good off the leg with three nice and correct paces, flashy paces and will continue to really move well once he gets stronger and already scoring sub 30. Very light and even in the contact. Polite and easy to a fence and just goes in an eggbutt, so far showing good scope and carefulness. Recently been to Chard BS, jumping courses of 1.10m at home with ease. Very easy to handle, and do at the lorry and warm up. Jumps hedges, gates and been xc schooling.

Has also hunted and team chased. Enjoys his work and would be ideal for an individual or family who wants to do a bit of hunting in the winter but have a horse who is quality enough to do some eventing in the summer

Wouldn’t be suitable for a complete novice as only just started eventing and has a sarcoid (doesn’t affect him) which is reflected in price

Lovely genuine chap who has spent his life hacking and hunting in Ireland. Major is nicely bred on both sides being an old fashioned 50/50 ID X TB.

He is a lovely hack both alone and in company. Happy to go first or last and not strong or silly but with enough engine that he’s nicely forward thinking, he rides off seat/leg or voice aids. Excellent in traffic.

He is still a little green in the school and would benefit from further schooling if he’s going to go on to do a proper job. Major has a forward thinking attitude without actually going anywhere, he stays in a good rhythm but now needs to learn to hold his own balance and body when being asked to go in circles, he’s coming on every day and is keen to please.

He’s brave and got lots of jump and would be fun if produced on to take eventing or show jumping. He’s got 3 good paces and a scopey jump. There’s a lot to like about this horse, he’s a bit rough round the edges but has loads of potential to be a really lovely chap if given the opportunity.

Lovely gent in and out the stable, good to handle, box, catch, clip etc. He’s a genuine sweet horse who will give someone a lot of fun. Price reflects the fact he is green for his age and makes a slight noise in canter (we think will improve with fitness)

Handsome cob gelding, purchased from Aughrim Cobs in Ireland and professionally backed by Matt Ainsworth.

A really fun horse looking for his next person to bring out his full potential. He has been out hunting, enjoys cross country, and is happiest when he has a job to do. He would make a brilliant fun all-rounder or hunting type for the right rider.

He is mannerly on the ground and safe enough to be handled by small children.
Can live in or out.

He’s good to hack alone or in company, first or last – used to traffic, including farm machinery and cattle, dogs etc.

However he is firmly not a fan of schooling and does not enjoy arena work in any capacity. This stubborn side of him can be quirky and therefore needs a confident, forward-thinking rider.

He is currently having some time off mature and now would really benefit from a 1:1 home where someone can build a bond with him. We strongly feel with consistency and the right person, he will absolutely thrive as he is very much a people person.

This is a lovely, genuine horse who just needs time and the opportunity to do a job he enjoys.

17.1hh by Van Gogh (Numero Uno).

Benji is kind and easy to do. He is a big impressive horse with huge presence and is admired by all.

He has been produced slowly and carefully with many miles of hacking on Dartmoor in his younger years. He is happy to hack alone or in company.

He has competed up to Newcomers in British Showjumping. We are currently working to improve his flat work where the basics are established and is showing great willingness and acceptance to learn new lateral movements and flying changes. He has also done some arena xc training this winter where he jumped everything first time.

Benji travels well in a lorry or 3.5t box - either alone or in company

He is easy to do on the ground being good to clip, shoe, turnout etc - a yard favourite

Benji is a really lovely horse who is fit and ready for someone to create a partnership with and have fun.

Owned from a 2 year old so home is important. No vices.

He would also enjoy pure showjumping, farm rides, riding club and he is also good to hack alone or in company. Has done all these things with his teenage owner, but was originally backed and produced by a 4* event rider who is still training him now.

Is safe and sensible enough to jump 40/50cm without over jumping but has the scope to move through the levels depending on riders goals.

He is qualified for the BE AEC arena eventing championships 2026 at two levels.

He is for sale through no fault of his own, his owner has had a change in work commitments and hasn’t got the time to ride and enjoy him.

Very loveable character and has a very level head despite his young age. He is a joy to have on the stable and has always been very easy with farrier/ clipping/ vet/ loading & travelling (also being left alone on the horsebox if a friend leaves him).

We are hoping to find him a loving home that will enjoy having a lot of fun with him.
