Shaun is a beautifully put-together 5-year-old grey Connemara with a kind nature, a super attitude to work, and a bright future ahead of him.

He has begun his professional education in a careful and sympathetic way, showing great promise in a range of disciplines. Shaun has experienced a variety of environments, including XC and SJ , local ridden showing and dressage outings – all of which he has taken in his stride with enthusiasm and maturity. He’s already had numerous placings/ribbons along with winning his dressage last weekend on 68%.

Shaun hacks alone, in company, or small groups, and is good on country road traffic. Lives on a working farm and is about to start hound exercise and autumn hunting.

Shaun has begun working nicely in the school with three attractive, balanced paces and is improving all the time. He is a beautiful mover, snaffle-mouthed, and never strong or silly. Shaun jumps with care and confidence, tackling fillers and water trays with ease. Naturally talented across country, he’s bold, willing, and has previously hunted in Ireland.

Shaun is regularly competing at 80/85cm with ease and schooling over 90cm at home. He has recently taken part in working hunter , sj and xc. Shaun has the scope and potential to progress up the levels in eventing, showjumping, dressage, or working hunter.
His direct relatives are competing at 1.30+ with one being sold for over 50k after winning at hoys so a very exciting prospect for someone .

On the ground, Shaun is an absolute pleasure – easy to handle with lovely manners. He’s good to catch, lead, bath, shoe, and is polite in the stable. His vaccinations, teeth and physio are all up to date. Shaun has travelled in a trailer and large lorry, and happily turns out with mares and geldings.

Shaun is a quality young horse, bred from successful Connemara lines, with an ‘older head on young shoulders’. He is still only five and will need a confident, competent rider to continue his development, he would be a fantastic project for an ambitious rider looking to bring on a talented horse, and could make a lovely mother/daughter share.

Very much a yard favourite, Shaun will be greatly missed. A lovely home is an absolute priority for this young chap as they don’t come along like him too often . First to see will buy .

Chaplin is a striking looking horse with three nice paces and a careful jump. He would make a super all rounder for someone as has the nicest nature to handle, shoe, box etc.

Great breeding and showjumped to a decent level as a young horse, has attended lots of schooling sessions/pole clinics. Great to hack on his own or in company. Bought by current owner who feels he is just more horse than she needs.

Hasn’t hunted yet but I feel he would give someone lots of fun doing that, eye catching and well mannered.

Urgo is a show jumping school master who took me after loosing my confidence from jumping 90m to 1.10m. He jumped previously to 1.20 with great success and is now ready to give someone else confidence. He is very balanced around a course and is perfect for someone wanting to have some fun !

He is good to hack and is never phased by any traffic , my mum also rides Urgo and he has never put a foot wrong.

He is good to clip, bath , ect and always stands for the farrier.

Floras a super sweet little mare, I backed her for her owners in the summer followed by a month in the field. Now she’s back and ready to look for her forever home due to being a bit too small.

Shes proven to have a great attitude to her ridden work, has started popping small fences and hacking out alone and in company. She is used to farm machinery, and will happily school next to a busy working farm.

She is good to trim, load and catch, and is all round lovely to look after. I would consider her a very easy young horse to ride, however she is still a 4 year old that needs to continue her education therefore wouldn’t suit a complete novice. However she would be perfect first youngster for a competent young rider.

Flora is homebred so all history is known, She’s been professionally backed and ridden away and hasn’t shown any vices- Has never bucked reared or bolted.

Ridden in a snaffle, good in open spaces. She’s been on her first arena hire and was perfect, easy to tack up by the lorry and not spooky or fresh being away from home.

She jumped everything I asked her too and was bold and confident up and down steps and into the water.
