The best thing I can say about him is that he's literally a pleasure to take out to a lesson or a competition. He has competed at many different venues both indoors and outdoors including Kelsall in the big indoor and Arena Uk in the outdoor with another horse nextdoor and he's never spooky or silly at judges/flower pots etc.

Reggie (Welcome Drishane) - 17.3hh, 8yr old Irish Draught gelding with exceptional breeding and proven siblings. (Drishane Diamond x Shanvally Princess).

He will be very sorely missed but Reggie is searching for a strong capable rider to continue his education as he has a great amount of potential but it’s currently being wasted so is being sold as a bit of a project, although it won’t take long to bring him on.

Although he’s a big boy, he’s a complete labrador on the ground and is good to mount/shoe/clip/load/dentist etc. He has no vices and isn’t ever sick or sorry.

He is fantastic to handle, and is regularly handled by children and novices. He is everyone’s best friend and isn’t bossy or bolshy. Happily goes with a mixed herd.

Since the start of this year his ridden work has been inconsistent, and he needs a confident capable rider to bring out the best in him as he can be cheeky and try it on, he just needs to be pushed through this and then he’ll be your perfect horse.

He hasn’t been in a school since February and has only done light hacking.

He can be spooky out hacking by himself but this improves when he does it frequently. He is completely fine in company but needs confidence from his rider when on his own. However, he is 100% in all traffic and isn’t bothered by lorries, buses, motorbikes etc.

He’s not strong and is ridden in a snaffle, he has also hunted in a snaffle quite happily. He just needs a job and something to keep his brain engaged as we believe he is getting bored and this has led to a couple of bad habits that need a capable rider to push through and correct.

Would suit a hunting home as has great scope over fences but also has flashy movements so would make a great shower. Needs more work over showjumps but only as he’s green in this area.

Cooper is a lovely 16.2hh, 9-year-old bay gelding with fantastic Anglo European breeding. He is low mileage for his age through no fault of his own and has a lot of potential for the future.

He has experience in dressage, showjumping and cross country, and showjumping is where he really shines. He is currently jumping around 90cm at shows and happily popping 1.20m at home, with plenty more scope to develop. He is extremely easy and adjustable around a course, never strong, and always wants to jump.

He has a very natural talent for showjumping and, with more competition experience and mileage, has the potential to progress through the levels. Skyfall is a quality, well-bred Warmblood mare with lovely paces, plenty of scope and a great jump. Sired by Fantaland, with Bliss as her dam.

She is a very capable mare with plenty of ability and lots to offer the right person. She is not a novice ride and can be a little quirky at times, so requires a confident, experienced rider who can ride her positively and give her clear direction. She benefits from consistent work and would be best suited to someone who has the time to keep her in a regular routine.

I have owned Skyfall for nearly five years and have enjoyed her throughout that time as an amateur rider. We have done plenty together, including jumping, hacking and some competition outings. She isn’t a horse that requires a professional simply to ride and enjoy her, but she does need a confident and experienced rider. I feel that to progress her further, particularly in a competition environment, she would benefit from someone with more experience in producing and competing horses than I have myself.

Skyfall really enjoys her jumping at home and has plenty of scope. She is not being advertised as a ready-made competition horse. I have taken her out competing; however, I am inexperienced in a competition environment myself, and I feel that establishing her away from home requires more experience, time and confidence than I can currently give her.

For someone experienced in producing and competing horses who is prepared to put the work in, I genuinely feel there is much more to come from her. Equally, she could suit an experienced rider with no desire to compete who simply wants a talented, quality horse to enjoy and jump at home.

She hacks and has travelled in both a trailer and lorry. With her jump and gallop, I also feel she could potentially be an interesting prospect for hunting with the right rider, although she has not hunted with me. She may equally suit another discipline that I haven’t explored with her.

Her breeding, quality and athleticism could also make her an interesting potential broodmare for someone looking to breed, although she has not previously bred.

On the ground, she is straightforward with routine care. She is excellent to clip and has always been good for the farrier and vet.

This is a genuine sale due to university commitments and the commute involved. Unfortunately, I no longer have the time she deserves to keep her in consistent work and get her out regularly. I have taken her as far as I feel able to as an amateur rider and would love to see what someone with more time and experience could achieve with her.

Absolutely no novices please. She needs a confident, capable and experienced home.
