Quality well bred gelding by Diarado rising 5 this year approx 16.2hh but more on the slight build.

He will suit someone willing to put the time into this gorgeous boy to produce a serious jumper. Has all the power and scope but is still weak and very green.

Was hacked out and started jumping under saddle before I purchased him proving brave and forward. Currently barefoot with excellent feet. Vaccinations and worming etc up to date. Has the most sweet temperament and character to go with him. Loads and travels like a dream and easy to do on the ground!

He did have an ulcer in his eye as a foal so has a cloudy eye but doesn't seem to bother him. Happy for vet to check it!

Happy to discuss reason for sale but basically im too nervous and have over horsed myself with a well bred newly broken youngster.

Currently on schooling livery but selling from stable at this price as I can't afford sales livery however the longer hes there his price will increase and will possibly be taken off the market if i win the lottery! I am looking to do be90/100 eventing, does not have to have an affiliated record but will need some competition experience. I am experienced at this level and have been riding and keeping horses for over 30 years. I like a forward going horse who enjoys their job.

They will need to hack alone and in company, and be sensible in traffic (country lanes). No rearing or napping.

I keep my horses at my home so they must be excellent to handle, 100% to box and shoe. Sedation for clipping acceptable if disclosed.

I can offer a private lifelong home in the Peak District with stables and all year round turnout with a pony companion.

No vices. Will be 5 stage vetted but I’m a realistic buyer. Blemishes accepted as long as cosmetic only. Must have good feet and move straight.

Tansyfield Darcy has been slowly and carefully produced since we bought him as an unbroken 3yo , this guy has turned his hoof to every discipline. Darcy absolutely loves going to shows , a real happy horse that does everything with a smile on his face !

Show jumping - Darcy has competed up to 1m 10 , picking up a few SJI points in limited outings . He is training round 1m 20 courses at home , goes off any stride and no spooky fillers phase him . A really fun forward ride !

Eventing - Darcy has competed lightly in age classes , winning a 4yo event class and winning a 1m event at flower hill last year . He is very well schooled on the flat , so produces an accurate dressage test. Super brave cross country , he loves to fly off a drop and jump a ditch ! He is a super competitive amateur event horse . Although he is 3/4 draught he is very blood to ride and has a huge amount of stamina. He really loves to work !

Hunting - we have recently started taking Darcy hunting with the roscommons which he has took too very well . He ques and waits patiently and very brave to a fence, a real pleasant mannerly ride .

Showing - Darcy has been placed multiple times in working hunter and lightweight hunter classes . We showed him as a lightweight as a 4yo where he came 2nd in tattersalls and was placed in a few county shows . He competed at NIF as a 5yo placing 3rd both days and then went on to balmoral where he handled the atmosphere and crowds amazingly well. He jumped an incredibly spooky and tough course for such a young horse with just 1 green pole . He is such a flashy good looking horse that turns heads wherever he goes !

Darcy is very friendly and well handled , good to clip , catch , load , shoe , box . He has the character of a giant pet dog and like part of the family ! He is a big forward going horse so please no nervous novices . A lot of love and time has gone into this horse and will only be sold to the best of homes !
