Minnie is a lovely mare to have on the yard, she’s easy and fits in. She’s simply brilliant round a track of fences she’s brave and honest and just keeps coming. She’s a super partner to gain experience round some bigger tracks and if you want to be competitive too! She has nice easy changes and a balanced canter.

We have also taken her XC schooling where she was brilliant and really enjoyed herself. Popping round in a snaffle.

Her sisters, bred by Seven Hills, from the same dam have been sold to USA and UK as future dressage/breeding prospects including to Grand Prix riders. Her dam is maternal sister to an international GP horse and is a consistent producer of wonderful offspring.

Her sire Be Sure sired by Benicio x Scuderia is a stallion with 3 superior gaits; he was named premium stallion at the 2020 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing and sold at auction to Helgstrand and his co-owners for 380,000 euro. In 2023 he was selected for and competed at the World Young Dressage Horse Championships for Germany with scores over 83% and has a very bright future.

Indy has been well handled, is people oriented, has a fantastic outgoing personality and is generally a pleasure to have around. She can remain on youngstock livery if necessary. She is up to date with worming and is fully DNA tested.

Vinnie is a very special horse and a type that is becoming increasingly difficult to find. Standing at approximately 16.3hh, this handsome 8-year-old roan gelding is a lovely old-fashioned stamp — a good sort with a leg in each corner, plenty of bone and substance, and the sort of honest, straightforward attitude that makes him a pleasure to own and ride.

His roan coat changes colour with the seasons, making him rather unique, but it is his temperament and attitude that really make him stand out.

COMPETITION RECORD

Vinnie is currently Grade C, with £1,292 BS winnings and 778 points, and is soon to be Grade B.

He is currently winning at 1.20m level and will shortly step up to 1.30m.

His recent form speaks for itself:

He is therefore not only genuine and easy, but also extremely competitive and consistent in the ring.

Vinnie is a horse who wants to do his job and tries hard for his rider. He is established and experienced enough to give his rider confidence, whilst still having plenty of scope and potential to progress.

He is kind, uncomplicated and incredibly genuine, and is the sort of horse that makes you look forward to getting on and going to a show.

He is ridden in a snaffle bridle at all times and is a yard favourite. In fact, when it comes to hacking, Vinnie is everyone’s first choice.

We are thrilled to announce that Julian Mincher Equestrian now has its very own premises on the London/Essex border. We have recently settled into our new home at Aldborough Hall Equestrian and are excited about the future.

Since moving in, we’ve carried out extensive renovations, including transforming the indoor arena, which now boasts a state-of-the-art Andrews Bowen jumping surface.

This is truly a magical place, located just 12 miles from Trafalgar Square with excellent access to motorways and transport networks. The Central and Elizabeth Underground lines are just a mile from our yard, with Fairlop station being the nearest. From there, you can enjoy a scenic walk directly across Fairlop Waters to reach us.

Set within over 50 acres of stunning parkland, Aldborough Hall Equestrian is a charming retreat. The stables are arranged in a traditional courtyard surrounding a tranquil garden. Our indoor arena measures an impressive 60 x 25 metres, while the outdoor arena, set to undergo refurbishments in spring 2025, is a generous 100 x 60 metres. The grounds also feature a variety of permanent cross-country fences, adding to the diverse training opportunities available.

One of the highlights of Aldborough Hall is the exceptional hacking. A private track leads directly from the yard onto Fairlop Waters, where you’ll find an all-weather track that extends for miles in a circular route, ideal for year-round use. Additionally, there are grass canter tracks throughout the park, providing variety for schooling and a welcome change from arena work—all without the worry of encountering traffic.
