Price reduced to find him a lovely home, offers welcome

Gorgeous black/brown gelding highly bred for dressage by elite stallion Franklin out of an elite mare from the Bottie line. His mother Extra D'ottie is STB Elite, IBOP (Dres) PROK mare scoring 77 at her IBOP. He is the full package with the looks, movement and temperament to make a top class dressage horse.

Papillion "Butterfly" or Jasper has just turned 4 years (April 2020) and has been under saddle for over 2 months. He happily hacks out alone or with company. Not bothered by cars, tractors etc so very sensible for his age. Although still green, he has shown to be brave out hacking, leading more advanced horses past "scary" objects. In the school we are working on his canter transitions and slowly building his strength and fitness. He is in full work, 5 days a week on schooling livery.

He is late maturing so still has a lot of filling out to do but is starting to look a lovely picture. Estimated height is currently 16.1 HH but looks to grow to 16.3 HH. He was imported as a foal from the Netherlands. He grew up in Kent and has spent the last few years with other youngsters enjoying his freedom so hasn't been over lunged or developed as a youngster.

Good to catch and picks up all feet happily. He has no vices and really likes people, he's a very sweet friendly horse. He is up to date with Vaccinations and worming, recently had his teeth done where he was good as gold. He is currently barefoot and has excellent feet.

He is being sold due to change in personal circumstances. Open to vetting and will come with his fitted saddle.

Please could you only call after 5 pm. He is based in Raglan, Monmouthshire. We are very close to Hereford and M5 is approx an hours drive. I'm happy to receive messages throughout the day for interested parties that can meet his asking price and am open to sensible offers. I'm available on WhatsApp.

Beautiful & talented chestnut mare for sale at a fraction of her worth. 16.2hh, 14 year old by Carrick Diamond Lad, straight moving & 100% sound, evented successfully upto 2* with numerous top results, however just isn’t brave enough cross country to continue up the levels.

Moves beautifully with a phenomenal hind leg, schooling at medium level, established walk pirouettes, trot & canter half passes, shoulder in, travair etc, good enough for pure dressage. She also makes an amazing shape over a fence and is extremely careful with plenty of scope for bigger classes. Hasn’t had a pole out competing this season and would also be well suited to go into pure showjumping. Only reason she hasn’t been jumping bigger tracks is that we have been focused on her eventing.

Results this season include a win in at Larkhill BE100 and 2nd at Tweseldown ON. Previous results include 2nd in the 2*L at Osberton, 4th at Millstreet 2*S and 4th Gatcombe Novice.

Princess is in full work, eventing fit & looking for a special home. She has very low milage on her legs due to previously having bred three beautiful foals. She has excellent manners on the ground including out competing, a very genuine and people oriented person however is not a novice horse, she is forward thinking, can be sharp to hack and can kick other horses when under saddle (not in field and not on the ground). She is not a first horse.

Home of the utmost importance, looking for someone who is knowledgeable and talented but without the biggest budget.

A super chap with a great attitude to his work. Correctly started with the future in mind.

He has been to training shows, competing up to Discovery BS and has been cross country schooled and attended dressage lessons, now ready to go out and start his competitive career.

Balanced with three good paces and a bold and careful jump, he will be a super addition to a professionals string or equally suit an ambitious amateur wanting a fun and friendly horse to go through the levels with.

Easy to do, loves attention and fuss!

Very attractive little horse with plenty of scope and loves his work, a horse that gives his rider plenty of fun!

Would suit a competent grassroots rider who wants to regularly go out and about doing a variety of disciplines and continue bringing on a young horse.

Louis has spent the last 18 months attending a variety of clinics including residential camps and pony club, xc schooling, unaffiliated dressage SJ & ODE’s as well as more recently affiliated BE and BD competitions. Reasonably established at 80-90cms has the scope to go further with a knowledgeable, considerate rider and progressive training.

Due to his age no novice riders. Louis would equally be happy doing dressage and hacking if jumping is not your thing. Hacks alone and in company. Loves being out and about.

He is obedient, moves nicely and is always complimented by dressage judges. Recently we affiliated him with BD and in five outings has accumulated 36 qualifying BD points with seven 1st places, two 2nd places and a 5th place.

He has completed three Pony Club ODE’s with a couple of top 10 finishes and three BE events, five with clear XC and four clear SJ.

He has great conformation, been 100% sound the whole time we have had him. Not rushed in his education. Loads and travels well alone and in company, we have travelled him in a 3.5T and herringbone horse box. I trust he would travel in a trailer although we have not had the need to. He is good to take out, has not minded being left behind on the box when other horses are being competed, has not ever napped whilst being taken away from others left on transport. Easy and well behaved on the ground so much so you can easily go competing, training on your own. He is up to date with vaccs, feet, teeth etc. Currently out in the day in at night as he is a good doer and gets fat easily!

Stunning 16.2hh, 12 year old Tobiano gelding. This exceptional non-native horse is one of the best and most consistent coloured horses on the circuit.

Marty has an impressive show record, including multiple class wins and championships. Notable achievements include 3x 2nd place finishes at the Royal International, 3rd Hickstead Derby 2024, 2nd at HOYS 2022 and 4th at HOYS 2023. He hasn’t been overshown and qualifies effortlessly every year, usually first time out.

A true gentleman, Marty is easy to handle, no lumps, bumps or vices. He is very easy to ride and has lovely paces. He enjoys hacking and is a very nice horse to have at home as well as in the show ring. He doesn’t take a lot of work and would suit an amateur. Sadly, he is looking for a new home due to personal circumstances and due to no fault of his own. This has been a very difficult decision.

Marty will be available after HOYS (or potentially before via separate negotiation) but home is of upmost importance for this special horse.

Serious enquiries only, please call or message me on 07885 582105. Viewings are available at John Harvey’s yard in Buntingford, Hertfordshire.

Samiel

Very much eventing pedigree

He was broken very well in Tippeary by someone who knows how to produce an event type.

He has done lots of hacking on the roads and forests. He was based on a well known x country corse and schooling around it many times

He has got a fantastic temperament for a 4 year old he is older before his time.

He has very smart paces with a very nice canter for a horse who has not done much

Be a fantastic type for someone looking to compete

He is jumping a course of show jumps and is ready to go to a show. We will have him out in the next few weeks if not sold but he will be different money. As the more work we do we need to ask more for him

He is ready for someone to put there own stamp on him

This loving type is a good find

No vices and good vetting

  • A very smart ladies type for a career in dressage or eventing ..

To make 16.2hh approx 3yo mare ..

Her sire Hermes is now a winner at Grand Prix level in dressage!

Hermes offspring have done well in breed inspections. Out of his first five stallion foals, one stallion was selected for the central ring in Westfalia, one was chosen for the second KWPN inspection in Den Bosch, and one moved on to the third phase of the BWP. His offspring carry his light movements and good looks, Hermes is a stallion who has impressed many professioanls with his talents in sport, having picked up multiple placings over the years.

Performance - In 2017 Hermes was awarded Reserve Champion semi-finals Subli Cup 5-year-old dressage horses, placed third at the Stallion competition in Kronenberg, he was also the great winner of the Subli-Cup, Berkel- Enschot. He picked up fourth place in the Finals, Pavo Cup, with 86.6 points and semi-finals 85.8. In 2018 he had a fantastic year having won the Stallion competition 6-7-year-old Dressage horses, Ermelo and De Peelbergen. He got Bronze at the World Championship-Ermelo for 6-year-old Dressage horses. He was reserve champion in the Finals Subli Cup for 5-year-old Dressage horses, Jumping Amsterdam.

Sire -  Easy Game excelled in his performance test, and while he competes to advanced level, his youngsters are proving themselves both in sport and competiton. His father Gribaldi, who competed at grand prix under Edward Gal, proves again and again that Trakehner blood can be used to improve dressage (and jumping) lines, such as with Totilas, Painted Black, 2005 Hannoverian champion Hotline (by the Gribaldi son Hofrat), and to produce champion purebred Trakehners such as Distelzar, Hoftanzer, Zardin Firfod. Easy Game's damsire Schwadroneur also competed at grand prix, and his mother line has produced 38 licensed stallions within the first four generations.

Damline - His dam Bukkie is also the mother to the successful stallion Johnny Cash who was reserve champion at the KWPN Pavo Cup. The damsire Flemmingh, a jumper himself, adds plenty of athleticism and is famous for producing the grand prix dressage horses and super-sires Krack C and Lingh. Dam Larivola carries the keur predicate, and has produced another licensed son, Emerson, by the Rousseau son Wynton. The dam line has produced many successful dressage, jumping and eventing horses including the licensed stallions Mythos (by Mythens xx) and Gringo (by Ramiro).

Progeny- Hermes offspring have done well in breed inspections. Out of his first five stallion foals, one stallion was selected for the central ring in Westfalia, one was chosen for the second KWPN inspection in Den Bosch, and one moved on to the third phase of the BWP.

Her damline is great , he Dan is elite graded and Competed herself to medium level .

Her damline is littered with dressage and jumpers for her own siblings and the presence of the stallion pion in her damline will widen her appeal to Eventers, pion being such a influential jumper stallion of days gone by!

She has 3 super paces and a lovely natural jump.

Exceptionally bred 16.2hh ISH (Holst / TB) , with grand prix show jump winning sire with plenty of blood, scope and brave for eventing or for pure show jumping.

Totally uncomplicated and beautiful to handle, not at all mareish.

We brought her over from Ireland as a rising 6 year old with very little mileage, and have taken our time to produce her slowly with the higher levels of eventing in mind. She will easily step up to BE Novice and Intermediate next season – she is as brave as a lion out XC having already trained over ditches, combinations, water, skinnies and completed her first season BE and also competed unaffiliated and Cotswold Cup. On the flat she has lovely paces and learnt her changes and could easily affiliate BD.

Snaffle mouth in all three phases.

In showjumping she has been competing BS on a ticket up 10 1.05 will now step up through the BS levels over the winter. Not only that but been competed by a 16 yr old rider at NSEA, qualifying and winning team NSEA County Championship 2023 at Hickstead. Happily jumping 110/115 at home.

This mare can turn her hoof to the more fun side of life, having enjoyed beach rides and hunting. She loves to go hacking either groups or solo.

With all the above said, this mare is a serious competition horse and she is an exciting prospect for next season so needs to be sensitively ridden and therefore is not suitable for a novice rider. Fit and ready to go, either for the end of the season or to continue her training over the winter in preparation for next season. We will continue to produce her so her price will only increase the more we do with her.

Good to travel in either trailer or lorry happily waits if travelling with a friend, farrier/ dentist / falls asleep when you clip her.

Cracking gelding by the phenomenal Furst Romancier. His dam is by Sir Donnerhall, who is a sire of World Champions, Bundeschampions, and multi-million euro auction highlights. Sir Donnerhall combines Sandro Hit and Donnerhall lines.

Furst Romancier received 9's for all of his paces and 9.5 for rideability in the 70-day performance test in 2008. He became 2009 dressage Hauptpramie by the Oldenburg Verband for the quality of his foals.

His sire Furst Heinrich was a World Champion as a young horse. His progeny include Furstenball, who was the Oldenburg champion stallion in 2008 and Woodlander Farouche, double World Young Horse Champion. Furst Heinrich sired over 40 licensed sons.

Furst Romancier descends from one of the most successful Oldenburg mare lines, the Edoste line which has produced numerous licensed stallions including the Bundeschampion and European Championship contestant, Exupry.

Furst Romancier has 25 licensed sons including 6 premium stallions. His son For Romance was the 2011 Oldenburg licensing winner and sold for €750,000

DAMLINE
The dam is by Sir Donnerhall who won his performance test and was awarded his generation's Hauptprämire, awarded for the best first crop of foals sired by stallions licensed in the same year. In 2006, Sir Donnerhall was 5-year-old Bundeschampion, and went on to be Vice World Young Horse Champion. The German FN breeding valuation ranks Sir Donnerhall I as one of the best sires of dressage horses with 150 points. Sir Donnerhall's is out of the Brilliant Ring mare Contenance D. He received the highest dressage index score ever awarded to date of 163 points in his 70-day test.

Sir Donnerhall's sire Sandro Hit was Bundeschampion and World Champion as a 6-year-old in 1999 and 10 of Sandro Hit's progeny also won the Bundeschampionat. At the Rio Olympics 2016 his son Showtime FRH was part of the German gold medal-winning team, and 6th individually, while Santano II was team bronze medallist in eventing for Australia, finishing 5th individually.

Sir Donnerhall's damsire Donnerhall appears in the pedigree of almost every top-level dressage horse. He won numerous international grands prix, including team golds at the 1994 & 1998 World Equestrian Games and the 1997 European Championships, and two individual bronze medals (1994 and 1997). Donnerhall ranked inside the top 10 of the WBFSH Sire Rankings for seven consecutive seasons (2008-2014). Donnerhall's offspring include Damon Hill, Donnerschlag, Donnersong, Don Schufro, Don Principe and Donnperignon and De Niro.

Sir Donnerhall is a consistent sire of performance horses and auction price highlights. In 2012 the Sir Donnerhall son Sa Couer was 5-year-old Bundeschampion, and then sold for €2.3 million at the PSI auction. Sa Coeur was double World Young Horse Champion under Eva Moller in 2012 and 2013, and is now national champion at inter I under Britain's Michael Eilberg. In the same year, Sir Heinrich was Oldenburg champion 4-year-old and Vice Bundeschampion, and Stanford was bronze medallist of the 3-year-old stallions. In the PSI auction, Sir Caramello, Sieberstien and South Coast have all commanded half-million euro bids. Sir Donnerhall has several progeny competing at grand prix.

Furst Donnerhall leads, loads into a trailer and picks out his feet. He is used to living out in a herd but is also good to come into the stable. He is used to wearing rug in winter. Furst Donnerhall would be best suited to a competitive home. He is very striking to look at. He also moves really well and has good conformation. He is wormed, vaccinated for flu and tetanus, microchipped and passported WBS-UK.
Prices are negotiable to competitive homes and for multiple purchases.

By Cobra 18 ( Cornet Obolensky ) out of a Guidam mare.

Lovely traditional model, approx 16.2 mare with superb conformation and presence. Beautiful model with a pretty head, four white socks and a blaze. She does have slightly capped hocks, which are still soft so could potentially be drained if these were an issue to you however they are purely cosmetic and don't effect her in any way.

As lovely inside as she is on the outside, lovely temperament, would be brushed and cuddled all day if she had it her way! Super easy to do.

Grace has lovely fluent paces and a bold jump which will only get better with time as she gets fitter and stronger.

She was lightly backed as a 4yo then turned away. She's been re-backed over the past 6 weeks and is happily walk trot and cantering in the school and has popped a handful of small jumps under saddle.

She's forward going and responds very well to hand/leg aids as well as verbal aids. However, she is still very green in the school so needs someone to further her education, she's very much a blank canvas for someone to produce to their liking.

Good to groom/wash, turnout, travel and farrier ( she's barefoot at the moment )

Would suit a competent amateur or professional. NO NOVICES, she's a young, inexperienced horse who needs someone who knows how to produce her correctly.

Dougie is a lovely horse who approaches life with his ears pricked and a smile on his face - and is ready for his next rider to carry on his education. A future grassroots superstar suit a rider wanting to aim for the grassroots championships with the potential for more in the future.

He is an incredibly genuine jumper who will do anything to jump through the flags for you. Although low mileage with no eventing experience and limited schooling he went clear round the xc at the Shelford eventer trial and the GO BE 90 at Little Downham. He went straight through the water, and over the ditches and didn’t think once to stop or run out.

With a bit more experience I have no doubt he will be bringing him some top placings!

Not at all nappy Dougie will hack on his own or in company. He is easy on the ground, good to clip and shoe. Exceptionally well behaved at an event, you can leave him on the lorry at an event and will happily stand on his own even if a horse is taken away.

He is not for a complete novice rider, he can have an excitable buck if fresh - never nasty, purely enthusiasm but he needs a competitive teenager/young adult not a passenger.

He's ready to be taken out to competitions and training.

Excellent trial facilities.

Jack would suit anyone looking to be competitive at 3* and 4*. He is very flash on the flat, and has oodles of scope and gallop. He has never had XC jumping faults at Intermediate and 3* (whilst age 8).

Purchased for our 16 year old daughter in 2022, there are plenty of photos and videos on her IG: matildaaplin.eventing

He is a stunning horse who could either be campaigned by a professional wanting to jump round some of the bigger tracks, or alternatively he is straightforward enough to make an ideal YR horse.

He is a very tough and happy horse, never any vet issues, and easy to do in all ways.

Current rider would also love to keep the ride.

Close to Berwick-Upon-Tween train, or one hour from both Newcastle and Edinburgh airports.

Jack's almost new Voltaire saddles available.

(Ordered two XC videos from An Eventful Life which will be uploaded when ready).

GFS thunderstruck

Tomtom has competed to 100cm with placings and a win along the way.

Tomtom has three balanced and correct paces with scores as low as 21 eventing.

He is a good jumper and is brave and straight XC.

He has been ridden and competed by a working pupil proving genuine and really good fun.

Lots of ability and potential to go up the levels with the right rider.

Tomtom is also great on the hunting field always jumping whatever is infront of him.

No vices and good to shoe, catch etc

Price reduction due to rider going to university.
Nico is a brillant horse who has been with me since a 5 year old and is looking to continue his career with a new rider due to current rider going to university and will no longer have enough time to compete nico full time and give him the attention he deserves.

He is a very attractive and adorable horse who moves beautifully in all 3 paces and has a fantastic flashy medium trot which really catches the eye of judges.

In 2023 we qualified for novice BD area festival and placed 8th with 67.22% and also qualified for the BD under 25 championships. Throughout 2024 nico has scored extremely competitively at BD elementary with ability to excel at higher levels.

He is a balanced and obedient horse that is developed in lateral movements such as leg yeild.

Also competes brillantly at BE90 which he most enjoys! Very safe and bold out XC and careful with showjumping.

Has potential to successfully move up the levels in British eventing and produce excellent results.

Nico would have no problem continuing his BE career after the rider has decided to predominantly focus on dressage in the 2024 season but has continued his training in SJ and XC to bring him on in all 3 disciplins.

He has a lovely temperament and good ground manners. Hacks alone or with company and is easy to shoe/clip/load/teeth/handle in general.

Ideal for someone who is looking for a horse to enjoy competing in a range of disciplins and come away with incrediable results and definately a rossette! Looking for a 5* home and talented rider who will make a great partnership with nico.

Has passed a 5* vetting including all x-rays and has had no major medical issues.

Tack (dressage and jumping) will be available at separate negotiation.

Excellent trail facilities with XC and SJ cources nearby.

Silva is really good on the flat. She looks after everyone who sits on her . She understands working in an outline and is starting to understand her flying changes.
Out hacking and in open spaces , she is a complete saint . She will hack alone or in company and will pass all kinds of traffic. She never gets silly in an open space.
Silva has been cross country schooling a few times and does not look at a single thing.
Over the past 2 years of owning her , she’s been to lots of local BS shows competing upto 1m . She has schooled upto 1.10 at home and arena hires . She never looks at a single filler and is very bold .
In an arena , Silva can get a little strong . She is still a bit unbalanced which results in her rushing off after the fence however with time and practise I am sure this will stop in a knowledgeable home . She has a really powerful jump , but just needs to be learn a bit more about balance and slowing down when in the ring in order to get the best results out of her . She really is just the easiest and most honest horse .

Silva is the ultimate mother daughter share , she would make a brilliant allrounder and a new family member .
She's good to load, travel, clip, shoe and just handle in every way. She is very sweet on the ground and is very polite .
She's up to date with vaccinations and shoes.
When Silva was bought as a 4 year old in June 2022 , she had stage 5 vetting with full set of x-rays . She passed with flying colours , the only thing that was picked up in the x-rays was kissing spine . She has never been bothered by it , she was x-rayed again a year into owning her and no changes were found (the vet was very happy with everything) . Silva gets regular physio and has a very well fitted devecoux saddle which can go with her (separate cost) . Physio and vets are always really happy with how she is .
She is open to vettings , asking price is £13,000 but it is negotiable for the perfect home .
For sale as owner is in her final year of A Level and doesn’t have time to carry on producing her .

Beautiful bright bay mare by the dressage sensation Franklin. She is also very well bred on her dam side. Her dam is the full sister to an international Grand Prix horse. Her lines combine Scandic and Welt Hit.

She has bred two foals of exceptional quality and was an outstanding mum. Since then she has been lightly started under saddle and is now being ridden away.

She is good to hack on her own in open country side and has been round stubble fields and up quiet roads. She has seen poles and started jumping which she did calmly and confidently. She takes everything in her stride. She has just started some lateral work. She enjoys learning and progresses quickly. She is ready to go out and compete.

I’m looking for someone who wants a beautiful horse to continue her education and have great fun with. She is dressage bred but would also make a top quality all round riding club horse.
