Billy is very sweet natured and well mannered. He will stand all day and be groomed and fussed over. He is good as gold out hacking on his own and in company, Billy is never strong or silly while out and comes back to you very well.

Billy loves his jumping and is very bold out cross country. He will definitely be one for the future.

Billy is good to clip, load, shoe etc. he is currently bare foot behind due to not being in any work at the minute.

My teenage daughter copes very well with him at home schooling him over 1.20m but she's only 5'3 and he's 17hh so she just can't control him sufficiently well enough in the arena to get the results.

He's a fab horse to do in every way and has all the jump in the world,it's a very sad sale, but we just have to admit defeat.

He needs a confident, competition rider.

16.1hh 10yo grade B mare. Ellie is a one in a million competitive amateurs/ first horse off ponies. Recently home from three very successful weeks at MET III.

Perfect to aim at bronze/silver league or would even suit a COH job. Ellie is a lovely kind mare with a good record to 1.30m, very careful and rarely has a fence that isn’t due to rider error, but equally she is super forgiving and will take a miss. Lovely to ride on the flat, hacks perfectly alone or in company, not mareish at all and a dream to deal with in every way. Ellie is very easy to ride around a course of fences, she is forward going but never gets sharp or silly. Absolutely no vices, stable or ridden.

She has previously been ridden by a professional rider, with whom she jumped successfully up to 1.35m including going all three rounds of the newcomers second rounds on two occasions.

I bought Ellie for myself after a big confidence knock and she has taken me back up to 1.25m having previously been terrified to jump around 90cm. She is only very sadly for sale due to focusing on younger horses & Uni work.

Extraordinary difficult sale of my beloved gelding after nearly five years in my home. Took me two years to find him!…..this is why….

He’s beautiful on the eye, calm and sensible to ride and take out on my own. He rides the same away at competitions as he does at home. Unusual breeding which is why he’s so good looking…he’s Irish x Selle Francais.

He’s good to catch, clip, bath, plait, pull his mane/ tail ( properly!) , with the farrier, dentist, physio, vet, loads himself & stands happily at shows in my trailer and I do everything on my own, I’m in my mid 60’s!

He hacks out around our busy village in company and I can ride and lead him from my old mare on all the same rides. He’s been to dressage competitions & polework clinics including RC events & pleasure & leisure rides with me.

Previous owner had also owned him for four years, they had hacked him and taken him to xc clinics & sj clinics. I sadly no longer jump, but my own trainer who I’ve seen mostly twice a week since I’ve owned him has occasionally show jumped him and taken him xc schooling to add variety to his life and to keep jumping in his repertoire as he enjoys it. He remains, calm, rhythmic & sensible.

He is relatively low mileage for his age, hence his physical health is amazing. He is fit & ready to turn his hooves to most things.

He lives in completely in the winter from end November ( still in currently!) due to our poor clay land in winter, but it doesn’t change his way of going with his riding at all. He lives out the rest of the year. Completely happy with both scenarios .

I travel a lot so he’s happy with a few different riders whilst I’m away.

I’m an instructor of 41 years experience myself and wanted to find a flashy horse that could cope with a varied life & the above mentioned requirements, that i was least likely to come off in my 60’s!! Hence took two years to find a genuine horse! I have never fallen off him! He has filled my requirements during his time with me and this is a very sad sale due to personal circumstances and no fault of his!

I've known Tango all of his life as I have a working relationship with the stud in Kimbolton, Cambridgeshire. He's by the lovely Trakehner stallion, Holme Park Kobalt by a Wesphalian mare. He is bred in the purple. Registered Hanovarian.

Last year the stud owner, told me that after been backed and ridden away Tango had displayed a wind problem. She had him scoped and he had a partially paralysed larynx. She is a very small stud without full time staff so going forward Tango was an issue for her. I decided that I would take him on, operate on his wind, do a couple of comps and then find him a good home. To me a wind problem isn't a massive red flag if it's dealt with.

So, in late September I re backed him for two weeks just so he hadn't forgotten what carrying a human was all about. In October he went to Cotts in Narberth for a hobday and an Neuromuscular pedicle graft op (not a tie back). Please Google what it is save me the typing. Richard at Cotts thought it was the better option as the larynx isn't permanently open as in a tie back op.

He had to have 5 months off. We're now in the first stages of lunge work in tack. Then in mid April he's to go into ridden work. He's being a star.
So, the reason I'm having to sell early is of no fault of his or mine. I do have Tango's father with me.

He is 7' in rugs. He is good for the farrier (bare foot), up to date on teeth, vacs. Good to catch, lead in and out. Good to load in my 18t lorry and a 4.5t, never tried a trailer. No vices, a few superficial scars on his off hind from an altercation with a fence. The pic of the black horse is his father.
Please note: this is a lovely, but green 5yr old. So please no novices. He needs a home who can continue to bring out his potential and get him out seeing more of the world. If it wasn't for the wind op he would be twice this price.

Mike has 3 correct and eye catching paces. He works consistently into a contact and has a very correct and careful jump.

Mike has competed up to UA novice level in dressage, scoring over 65%. He has stayed away at trailblazers and was perfectly behaved.

Mike has previously jumped up to BS Discovery with double clears at British Novice.
He has successfully done UA showjumping and UA arena eventing with current owners.
Mike has also been x-country schooling. Good with water, steps, ditches etc. He was brave and showed great potential to go eventing!
