Dante is a very well bred Irish Draught cross warmblood gelding who, through no fault of his, own has had a slow start to his ridden career but he is now ready to find his forever home. He is a forward thinking, and good off the aids so wouldn't be suitable for a complete novice however forgiving so could be suitable for a partner wanting to learn with him. He has a bright future in whatever he turns his hoof too, being a serious contender for grass roots championships in eventing and more in the future.

He has done some double clears at BS novice and is more than capable of jumping some bigger tracks, schooling easily round 1.10 tracks at home. He is a genuine but careful jumper, making a very correct shape but will also be happy to take a miss and keep jumping with a smile on his face. Never spooky at fillers or water trays, he's happy to jump anything you put in front of him.

Dante hasn't got a huge amount of experience cross country, but his first time schooling he went straight through the water and over the ditch, proving to be very brave with bags of potential at this phase. He was looking through the flags already so it won't be long until he'd be ready to go eventing!

He is a lovely, easy ride on the flat with correct paces which will definitely please the dressage judges! Incredibly light off the leg he makes flatwork sessions very enjoyable, learning leg yields and counter canter very quickly - showing a trainable attitude and capable of dressage scores in the 20s.

Not at all nappy, he'll hack on his own or in company and walks straight past lorries and tractors. He is handled by the work experiences on the yard, and loves a cuddle in the stable, he will make a best friend and partner for life for the right person! Good to clip and shoe and has travelled on both the lorry and trailer.

Spartan is an outstanding home bred Friesian Sports Horse colt. He is currently still entire but can be gelded.

His father was a registered 17.2hh baroque Friesian stallion with enormous flamboyant movement, the sweetest and easiest stallion I’ve ever come across. His mother, an ISH and successful former showjumper, was also 17.1hh. Both with the most wonderful temperaments and lots of charisma. This boy got the best from both and is expected to reach 17.1-2hh. He has the Friesian looks and charm, with versatility of an ISH.

He was imprint trained from birth, and handled daily for his first year, before going off to live in a colt herd for the last two years. I have personally put over 100 hours of groundwork training in with him and absolutely nothing phases him. As a yearling I felt safer having my kids around him than a lot of adult horses. He has been around noisy children, dogs, never scared of machinery or tractors in the yard etc.

He has had the best feed, care and socialisation I could possibly give him, given that I bred him to keep for myself. However, we have emigrated to the USA and the import costs are so high that the idea of moving him has become unrealistic.

Spartan will make a terrific young dressage horse or allrounder. He will be a breeze to start under saddle, given the handling he has had and his calm demeanour. I have a lot of videos of him from when he was a year old, and one more recent video too from early 2026. Amongst these I have a video of me sitting on his back while he was laid down in the field. He is truly one in a million and will be an absolute dream horse for someone.

He is based at a stud in Kent. He is 100% open to vetting and has never been lame or sick.

There are lots of video of him and both of his parents, Zeus and Vogue, on my instagram. This has been a very difficult decision, so please only very serious enquiries. I would prefer to arrange a call time via WhatsApp and then to speak on the phone. All of the videos I have are on this advert and on my instagram, which is shared on the ad. Diego is our Homebred, so it makes this decision even harder!!

Diego has been very slowly produced, having 3 lovely comfortable gaits, I could ride him all day long.

Diego has had a gentle work lifestyle throughout his younger years to allow him to grow without the pressure of being over worked as a young horse, so his body has been allowed to develop correctly.

Diego has done a small handful of shows here and there including a recent dressage show. He has participated in clinics, camps, fun rides, arena hires, XC hire last year.

I haven’t always had time to put into him in the fact to get him out, however I was never concerned as he was young, now he really needs to start getting out their to build his confidence within himself.

The only reason why I’m selling him, is because I’ve got married and moved away with my husband, being in the military we will be moving around.

For 6 months throughout the winter he has been on loan to a young less confident young adult, where she has done mainly low key schooling and hacking.

Diego is a very talented young man, he is like his mother and is very consistent within his movement, therefore would do well in the dressage ring, make a fabulous eventer which he is bred for, or even abit of everything.

I’d just love someone to enjoy him and love him, he is very kind and gentle, he would never ever hurt you, he has a big heart and wears it on his sleeve.

The type of rider I’d be looking for, is a kind, sympathetic experienced rider, as although Diego is safe he can be a bit anxious at times and can look for quiet reassurance from his rider to hold his hand.

The only thing I’d say about Diego, is sometimes if he is worried he will stop to process something he isn’t sure of, if you don’t allow him this little moment to process it and say it’s ok, then he may go up, but if you just give him a moment he always goes forward, this is why he needs an experienced rider, he generally always goes past things, it’s just 5% he might need you to say it’s ok!! My mother who is experienced but not so confident would always ride him despite anytime off. She always feels completely safe and trusts him 100%, my younger sister who rode him at from the age of 11. He would never ever do anything to unseat his rider. He always trys to please!
