Homebred 4 year old (May 2022) jet black gelding out of an OLDENBURG ELITE mare that I owned for 11 years (now retired) and that bred no fewer than 9 premium graded Oldenburg foals before she retired from breeding 4 years ago. He was her last foal which she had at the age of 20yrs. Still own both of his half sisters (can be seen). His sire (who I owned 2019-2025) is now retired from stud and back competing again in BE with Sharon Wollaston Dressage.

He's stabled/handled every day and has been since birth, so incredibly well handled. He has an exceptionally kind and gentle nature. He is a small compact little horse with stunning looks. So he will definitely catch the eye of the judges. Definitely a lady or talented teenage dressage riders horse who craves 1:1 attention. Very Gucci in his type so would suit somebody who likes an extensive and expensive equine wardrobe !

He loves his stable, his rugs, the farrier, people, attention and being admired/pampered. Not a huge eater but is also is a good doer so easy to keep. Very clean in stable, but would also happily live out over summer so long as he has a shelter. I only breed a very small number of dressage foals each year and he is a very fine example so I am looking for the right rider. He's finely built and only 16.1Hh (like his dam) and so would be best suited to a rider that's 5'8" or less in height and under 12st. in weight.

His X-Rays are NOT PERFECT, he has 3 lesions which you are welcome to see. BUT he is 100% sound so our vets advice is DO NOT do surgery on a horse that's been sound since birth! Rather to bring him into work and then deal with it ONLY if it troubles him down the line. So he's well advanced with his backing now, hes been sat on bareback and will be under saddle in the coming 4-6 weeks. He will be sold lightly backed. He has been sound all of his life. The price reflects the massive 40% discount due to imperfections in the X-Rays, that discount is more than the money needed to do the surgery SHOULD it ever need to be done. Today he will NOT pass a 2 stage vetting because of the lesions!!!!

Very sad sale because my daughter is going to university.

We bought Rossi directly from his breeders three years ago. Since then, my teenage daughter has trained him up to Medium dressage. They have successfully competed BD up to Elementary and Unaffiliated up to Medium. They’ve also done lots of Ponyclub activities, including camp, rallies, and stayaway shows. They’ve qualified for Ponyclub National Championships four years in a row and have competed in the Intermediate, Open and Freestyle classes, and got several placings. Earlier this year they’ve also qualified for Ponyclub Spring Festival where they came third in the Open FTM.

Rossi has three lovely paces and is a very quick learner. He has a green change and a lot of potential to go far with the right rider. He enjoys a varied lifestyle, including hacking – either alone or in company. Rossi has been to several fun-rides, and he loves a good gallop – with or without saddle. He also loves to jump – both show-jumping and cross-country. He doesn’t bat an eyelid at fillers and jumps everything, but needs some convincing to go into water.

However, Rossi is not a novice ride. He has big movements, and he needs a knowledgeable rider and home. He is good to handle on the ground, and can be turned out alone or in a herd with mares or geldings.

Rossi is good to load and shoe, and up-to-date with vaccinations and dentist.

We are looking for a competitive home for Rossi where he can continue to compete and enjoy a varied lifestyle, and where he will be loved.

Jimmy is a 8 year old Irish sports horse gelding. He was backed in September 2024 as he was used for stud so is a late starter, he hasn’t done much so he is still green. He has 3 beautiful balanced paces but is spooky still so not a novice ride. He has been to a few clear round shows where he has produced some lovely clears. I think he would best suit a showing or dressage home due to his spookiness in the ring when jumping or someone who is confident and willing to be patient with him. He does also sometimes randomly have a bronk after a fence whilst jumping which is rare but therefore an experienced rider is needed. I’m only selling him because I don’t have enough time to keep him in full work due to working a lot and that’s what he needs.
