SPLASH THE CASH – 16.3hh CHESTNUT GELDING
A fantastic opportunity for an amateur or young rider looking for a genuine, competitive and straightforward showjumper.
Splash the Cash is a lovely 16.3hh chestnut gelding, successfully jumping 1.20m classes and qualified for the Hickstead Main Ring in 2026. He has been ridden and competed by a lightweight teenage girl and is a really uncomplicated horse who knows and enjoys his job.
He is straightforward and genuine to a fence, rideable around a course and gives his rider plenty of confidence. He has the quality and ability to be competitive while remaining simple enough for an amateur to produce and enjoy. He would be a super horse for someone wanting to step up through the levels without needing something sharp or overly complicated.
Away from the ring, Splash the Cash is just as easy. He hacks happily alone or in company, is straightforward to handle and look after, and is a real poppet in the stable. He has a lovely, kind character and is the sort of horse who is a pleasure to have around every day.
He also has an excellent jumping pedigree, by Voss (Voltaire) and out of Cha Cha Cha S Z, by Corrado II, bringing together some hugely influential jumping bloodlines including Voltaire, Furioso II, Gotthard, Cor de la Bryère and Capitol I.
A genuine, competitive and very likeable horse who has already proven himself in the ring. He would make a fabulous partner for an ambitious amateur or young rider wanting a horse to go out, have fun and be competitive on.
A really hard-to-find type with the ability, experience and temperament to match
