I believe Otto would be happiest in a home where he can concentrate on what he enjoys most, and that is showjumping, and as much as parting with him will break my heart, I feel like the time has come where I need to listen to him.

He has been in the same home for the last 4 years and despite having a quieter year this year due to lack of funds whilst renovating a house, he is fit and ready to go. Very sad sale because my daughter is going to university.

We bought Rossi directly from his breeders three years ago. Since then, my teenage daughter has trained him up to Medium dressage. They have successfully competed BD up to Elementary and Unaffiliated up to Medium. They’ve also done lots of Ponyclub activities, including camp, rallies, and stayaway shows. They’ve qualified for Ponyclub National Championships four years in a row and have competed in the Intermediate, Open and Freestyle classes, and got several placings. Earlier this year they’ve also qualified for Ponyclub Spring Festival where they came third in the Open FTM.

Rossi has three lovely paces and is a very quick learner. He has a green change and a lot of potential to go far with the right rider. He enjoys a varied lifestyle, including hacking – either alone or in company. Rossi has been to several fun-rides, and he loves a good gallop – with or without saddle. He also loves to jump – both show-jumping and cross-country. He doesn’t bat an eyelid at fillers and jumps everything, but needs some convincing to go into water.

However, Rossi is not a novice ride. He has big movements, and he needs a knowledgeable rider and home. He is good to handle on the ground, and can be turned out alone or in a herd with mares or geldings.

Rossi is good to load and shoe, and up-to-date with vaccinations and dentist.

Orange Sollenburg (Sully) is a gorgeous 16.2hh chestnut gelding looking for his new rider to enjoy him.

He’s 7 years old but very much an old head on young shoulders being very genuine when competing and always wanting to jump and look for the flags.

He’s always easy to ride for his dressage tests and never gets hot and silly in the boards. He doesn’t need loads of warm up either and the judges always like him as he moves well and is correct but is powerful so occasionally still loses his balance at his young age.

Show jumping he is really careful and goes off any stride, and jumps equally as well on grass as he does in an arena.

Cross country he’s such a dude ! He has a great way of going with such a lovely neutral head carriage. He gallops extremely well and stays in a lovely rhythm. He’s easy to adjust and is so straight to all ditches/skinnies/combinations.

Good to shoe, travel and clip.

Would suit a competitive amateur to gain experience at novice and work up the levels or equally he has plenty of talent to continue up the grades easily with a professional.

He’s such a lovely horse to have in the yard and it’s a really sad sale so home is a priority!

Only quirk would be he can have the odd spook or buck but this is very rare and usually if fresh in winter!

Only vet history is he had a kissing spine op as a 4 year old but hasn’t ever had any issues and it doesn’t affect him doing his job in any way.

Always stands quietly to be tacked up and requires very little working in and just gets on with his job. He has competed at many different venues both indoors and outdoors including Kelsall in the big indoor and Arena Uk in the outdoor with another horse nextdoor and he's never spooky or silly at judges/flower pots etc.

Lives out currently but during winter was just as happy in at night. Not needy in any way.

Someone is going to get a lovely young horse with a mature head on his shoulders who could turn into something really special and is already scoring really well every time he goes out. Open to any vet/x-rays etc. Never seen the vet in all the time I've had him.
