I am looking for an 100 schoolmaster horse/pony on loan for my tall 13 year old daughter. Approx 14.2-16hh. Not worried about age and happy to manage any minor quirks or ailments. Most important thing is that the horse/pony does have experience Eventing at 100, so perhaps an older type looking to step down the levels but still very much needs a job.

My daughter is already competing at BE 90 and is now ready to step up to the next level.

Im a confident rider with many many years of experience with different breed of horses. However, as I am nearing 40, i am now looking for my last horse of a life time, so looking for a nice allrounder to have fun and bring me back home safe and in one piece.

I own a small holding which consists of stables, arena and 10 acres of land.

Currently have 5 horses at home which consist of a pony for my daughter, 2 retired that have been with me for years and 2 youngsters I bred myself.

Things I am looking for in my next horse - they must be easy to do in all ways, I often will go to shows by myself or with my young daughter.

Confidence giver and forgiving in the jumping department, someone to help me out when I get it wrong - nice steady approach when jumping, don’t want something that locks on a shoots forward.

Hack out alone and in company.

Must work in a nice soft outline as I do like the odd dressage test.

Must be able to go on a fun ride without going mental.

No bucking, rearing - I understand it is impossible to ask for a bomb proof horse but something not spooky.

I am actively looking and have a healthy budget for the right horse.

Height - 15.2hh to 16.2hh don’t want anything smaller. May consider something bigger but I am only 5ft2 so don’t want to be over horsed.

Age - 7 years to 11years may go slightly older depending on how old. But don’t want to go any younger as I do what the horse to have experience.

Ideally looking to buy from a private home, someone who has had their horse for a while and knows a lot of history.

Horse must be open to vet and vet history.

We are a very experienced home with another pony, kept at a small livery yard in Wiltshire.

We like to do low level riding club, hacking, fun rides and local shows. Have regular lessons and attend clinics. We don't mind quirks as long as they are disclosed, the horse needs to be able to travel in a trailer, be good in traffic and not mind farm animals and machinery.

I am not a beginner but I am coming out of a riding school so I need a steady and forgiving horse that doesn’t look to its rider for confidence too much. No bucking, rearing or serious napping.

I have competed internationally at 3* level and would like a horse that would be able to continue with this.

I am looking for a sane gelding, either a younger horse to bring on or an older horse that needs to come down some grades.

My budget is lower five figures for the right horse i may find a bit more. He must have good paces and be sensible and sane as I ride around the farm and travel on my own and am getting too old to have anything sharpe.

I have evented for many years and would still like to be competitive but at a lower level now, something I can go out and have a lot of fun with but still be in the ribbons.

I have another older horse so will have company and would be turned out daily.

I am very open minded so please throw any possibilities my way.
