I am looking for a kind genuine horse to be my best friend for hacking, low level dressage, fun rides and a yearly holiday to the beach. Home for life awaits on a small private yard where horses are treated as individuals. Experienced owner who can provide references and is happy to keep in contact.

The main priority is that my new horse is super safe to hack both alone and in company across the fields and out in traffic. I am looking to do some Novice Dressage but happy to put the work in. No vices and open to a vetting. Must be able to have a few days off without any drama.

We are looking for any breed for LWVTB as they will need to be trialled in our RDA environment before purchasing to see if they're suited to this lifestyle before a participant can ride them. This is as much for the ponies as the suitability for riders.

Must already be ridden and has to be over 5 yrs old (RDA rules). Can accept some quirks but must be safe for our disabled riders. They will also have to pass a stage 2 vetting which can be arranged whilst on loan.

We can offer a high standard of care, a light work load so older ages are acceptable if sound.

We have stables but they live out as much as possible even throughout winter. We can offer small herd/individual turnout.

Straight forward all rounder who's good to do in all ways, laid back personality on the ground for a varied life with a competent amateur jumping up to 1.10, fun rides, hacking and hunting.

Would need to be forward going and up for the job with a fun personality but I do not want a spooky, tense sort of horse that needs loads of work to stay sensible. Needs to be a brave, confident sort who will hack alone happily, go hunting, load and travel well, enjoys jumping (has to be keen and love jumping) and be good in windy weather as I am on the coast!

The sort of horse who enjoys work and has been in a loving home is important as they will be part of the family from day 1.

I am searching for a trustworthy, best friend type to welcome to our kind, knowledgeable, family home. Our horses are treated as part of our family & they receive the absolute best of care. I would be happy to provide references & to keep in touch.

I have ridden for several years & consider myself a knowledgeable & capable rider. However, due to ongoing health issues with my horse, who is now retired, I haven’t ridden as consistently in more recent years & so I am no longer as confident as I once was. Therefore, I am seeking a laid back, best friend type, who does not need riding most days to remain safe & sane (realistically, I will generally ride 3-4 times a week).

We will be enjoying fun hacks from home, attending organised pleasure rides, forest trips, XC schooling & some clinics. I will at times want to hack alone but will also hack alongside my young daughter on her (sometimes quirky!) horse, so it is especially important that I find a level-headed, trustworthy type who I can depend on. Due to us going out in our horsebox regularly, I would like to find a horse who is good to load / travel &, most importantly, who remains calm & polite to handle & ride in different environments.

Our horses are kept at home with us & have all year turnout (stabled overnight during winter). I would love to find a gentle natured, polite character & a true best friend type.

We live in a rural area & although we generally meet very little traffic, when we do, it is often likely to be a tractor/farm vehicle. Therefore, it is hugely important that my new horse is confident around this type of traffic.

I'm a very fit, active 60-year-old lady looking for a genuine schoolmaster – the sort that has been there, done it, and is happy to enjoy a quieter, much-loved life while still teaching someone every day.

I'm not necessarily looking for a competition horse. In fact, if you'd rather your horse didn't compete anymore, I'd be more than happy to promise them a life of hacking, clinics, regular lessons, regular and gentle schooling and plenty of love and attention. No need for world beaters or puissance horses as we hunt the more trot & pop, trappy country not large grass fields with hedges but it must still be happy to go off alone and jump. MUST be good with hounds around it's legs and go off alone leaving the field happily when trail hunting! 

Apart from being 15.2hh and above (may consider a little smaller if well built) with a good shoulder in front, there is no other specific requirements - just a safe and experienced horse that won't erupt into outer space if left unridden for a week.
