Kind and generous horse who through no fault of his own has spent a large part of his life in a field during a complicated divorce/probate process.

He came to us unbroken, winter 2023 as a project, we turned him away completely until June 2024, as he ideally needed a spring/summer at grass. He has been previously driven but not since he was 5. We have just backed him and started riding him away. Fully planned to progress him further but due to space and the fact our point to point horses are coming back in off of their holiday - I cannot keep him any longer, unless I turn him out again in the field for another winter, which seems a waste of a lovely horse. I have pieced together most of the history of this horse and can share with you.

He is currently , lunging, long reining and walk and trotting around the yard with a rider on board. So someone experienced in starting horses will need to continue that part of his education. He has been harshly handled for sure at some point of his career, so a sympathetic approach has worked best with him. Once his starting eduction is completely I believe he would quickly be a very useful and lovely lad to have as a hunter, hack, riding club horse.

Good weight carrier, but an active forward moving horse, very comfortable. Has loose jumped.

Good to shoe, load, easy on the ground.

Really needs his forever home Bruce has soooo much to give the right person.

Flashy moving rising 3yr old Friesian x ID gelding, currently standing at 16hh

This handsome boy has it all, personality, looks and moves to die for.

Looking for an experienced, possibly even a professional home for this fabulous boy.

As incredible as he is, he needs an experienced hand, so no novices or first time young horse owners please.

His dams side are all champion Friesians, so I believe he’d do very well in the show ring.

He is well handled, is up to date with worming, farrier and vaccinations.

I believe he would be a fantastic professional driving horse. 

He travels well - I have only had him in a trailer but I have no doubt he’d travel beautifully in anything.

We’ve been to a stay away groundwork clinic for 3 days, which we learned so much at and Charlie was incredible.

He is bitted and has started long lining. He is not bothered by flying lead ropes, flapping girths, or swinging long lines.

He is desensitised to running children, tractors, diggers, motorbikes, flapping builders bags, bouncing balls, bicycles, goats, geese, chickens and ducks!

He has not seen traffic on the road yet but he is in a busy yard, where cars have driven by us as we lead from the fields etc. He has had diggers working alongside his field without being bothered by them.

We have regular fun shows at our yard and he is not bothered by all the comings and going.

He is excellent with children and adults alike, he is a real people person. I think he might have been a dog in a previous life as he really loves people.

This is really a very sad sale, I have owned him since he was a gangly 10 month old colt but he needs a home where he will thrive and go out and show off, and due to my medical issues, sadly, that’s not going to be me.

I will continue to work with him until he is sold, the right home is extremely important to me and I would love to keep up with all his adventures in his new home if possible. He really is one in a million and is ready to show the world just that!

• Golden boy is literally one in a million.

He's a truly stunning horse. He's a dapple palomino, with abundance of mane and feather, beautiful long mane in the flesh.

His mane is literally down to his knee.

He is a true gentleman, he has a very kind nature, he's handled by children regularly, He's easy to load , anybody can lead him on their own.

He is ride and drive. He rides in an open bridle, in the heaviest of traffic, he hacks out alone or in company, nothing at all phases this horse, he is never strong or silly, equally he is a very good driving horse. Lots of pictures and videos available, please get in contact. He is wormed up to date, fully vaccinated, fully dentist, and recently been re-shod
