Honest advert please read

May is a lovely non mareish mare who happily in or out.

To ride:
We are not selling May as a riding horse but she can be ridden. She is a forward going mare who you can have lots of fun on. However, in the summer she can headshake. We have gone down every route for her but cannot seem to help her get much better. Some days she would go with the odd shake, other days she would get really wound up and paw at the ground. She has the occasional spook but nothing too abnormal. In the winter time she is a lot better to ride, but because of this we do not want to sell her labelled as a riding horse.

May has driven before we got her, often pulling wedding carriages in her past. She has also had a foal before so could make a good broodmare/surrogate mare again. She also leads really nicely on a ride.

She is a mare that when you spend time with and build that bond she does love fuss and attention.

Good to shoe and for dentist, good to clip but not in a rush.

We are looking for a forever home for May, sadly she has become a horse not suited for what we intended her to be. Please do contact us for more information.

A very lovely homebred youngster both parents can be seen with me. Never been off the farm.

Sire was top show horse before going on to be an INT Eventer Dam won many show Championships she also did many seasons hunting with me.

This filly appears to inherit her parents ability with superb action & is very correct in her make & shape with lots of character and presence. Good with farrier loads and travels well easy to catch etc very sensible to do in all ways.

Totally unblemished. Top show / sport horse material.

Reuben is a super stamp of horse, with a lovely temperament and easy to do attitude, whatever has been asked of him he always try’s to please.

He is a pleasure to do and handle and he enjoys fuss and attention.

Super straight rhythmic paces, 3 good paces, snaffle mouth, an honest horse that enjoys flatwork, an honest jump rustic or coloured fences, not fazed by fillers, ditches and drop fences.

Snaffle mouth in all disciplines, happily drives and has driven in busy built up towns as well as country lanes.

Has hunted, hacked, beach rides and been to shows.

Lovely to load and travel trailer or wagon, easy farrier, clip, bath, stable, catch, handle. Has never had a need to ride daily as always happy to please.

Has never been silly or sharp even when taken to venues, been on beach rides, training shows, schooling at local venues, pleasure rides and drives, hunt, has done sj Xc and Wh.

Hacks alone or in company, not phased by any traffic met including heavy farm traffic.

Reuben sire is Move over Casanova, gsire Golden Fleece.  Passported and micro chipped.

I am selling on behalf of my mother who has decided to give up riding for health reasons! This is an incredibly hard decision and she will only go to the best of homes.

Pastrengo is a four-year old Italian Murgese gelding who was imported from Southern Italy in April 2022 and was a Grade A Stallion at the breed annual grading in 2021.

He’s proving to be easy to do in all ways. His education so far has included lots of groundwork, hacking, driving and a light introduction to schooling - throughout all of which he hasn’t put a hoof wrong!

Pastrengo is a very straightforward boy who will make a brilliant allrounder, weight carrier and versatile fun horse.

Joey is a Stepping Cob (Lucky Shamrock)/Friesian (Tilly Trotter) 7 year old gelding. 15.2 hh approx, super intelligent and strong as an ox. 

We bred Joey and still own his mother, so we know all of Joey's history from birth. He was backed to be a riding and driving horse but the driving training has not been maintained so although he has been driven this would have to be retrained. 

He has an amazing 4x4 trot and loves jumping, he is as bold as brass, no filler or water tray can put this horse off jumping. 

Our intention was to show him in hand but Covid and family illness limited time for training. 

He has been to boot camp for riding due to lack of use but is now in regular work. He requires a confident, experienced rider to give him the time and attention he needs. 

With the right person he will be an exhilarating ride and a wonderful companion. 

Joey has no problems with farrier, vet or travelling. He is on a livery yard in South West Lincolnshire, not far from Newark, and we would prefer for him to stay there. 

This is a great opportunity to join a yard that normally has a substantial waiting list. The yard holds many competitions and social events throughout the year and has a reputation for excellent training and friendship.

Joey is a valuable horse and he is a loan with a view to buy with a minimum of a 3 month loan. He has some quirks which will be explained at the viewing which is why we would prefer to loan first to make sure of the perfect match. 

Someone will be very lucky to own Joey, he is an affectionate, talented boy with brain and lots of engine, but he does come with his quirks that need to be seriously considered. 

The video was Joey’s first time in the grass arena and also his first time jumping a full course.
