Lily – Beautiful 5-Year-Old Skewbald Irish Cob Mare, 15.2hh – Safe, Sweet & Super Versatile

Meet Lily – a truly lovely 5-year-old traditional skewbald Irish Cob mare, standing at a solid and well-balanced 15.2hh. This gorgeous girl is a genuine all-rounder with a heart full of kindness and a temperament to match. She is quiet, sensible, and incredibly easy in every way, making her an ideal choice for novice riders, families, or anyone looking for a reliable, fun, and honest riding horse.

Lily is the sort of horse who makes you feel at ease the moment you meet her. She’s a real people-pleaser – affectionate, willing, and always looking to do her best. Whether in the stable or under saddle, Lily is calm, polite, and a joy to work with. She’s easy to catch, box, shoe, clip, and groom, and she has absolutely no stable vices. A true lady in every sense.

Under saddle, Lily is forward going in the nicest way – responsive and eager, yet never sharp or silly. She rides beautifully on the flat and has been lightly schooled with lovely natural balance and rhythm. She’s also showing great promise over fences, currently jumping up to 80cm with honesty and enthusiasm. She’s straight and willing to a fence, making her a perfect choice for someone looking to do a bit of everything – from hacking and fun rides to low-level jumping and schooling.

When it comes to hacking, Lily is absolutely exceptional. She will hack out happily alone or in company and is rock solid in all types of traffic – from tractors to lorries, she takes it all in her stride. Whether it’s a quiet country lane or a busy road, she’s relaxed, safe, and unflappable. She has been out on group rides and trekking routes, always behaving like the true professional she is.

She’s the perfect family horse – safe enough for a novice to gain confidence on, yet with enough talent and personality to be enjoyed by more experienced riders. Horses like Lily don’t come around often – she’s as close to a unicorn as you’ll find.

Transport to the UK is included in the price, and if for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, we offer exchange options for peace of mind.

For more information, please don’t hesitate to call 00353 86 807 7626 or email gertytynan@gmail.com.

Lily is ready and waiting to become someone’s best friend – don’t miss your chance to bring this special mare home.

Anyone would be more than happy to have this boy in their yard!!

Introducing Barry (Baz), an extraordinary 2010 Gypsy stallion and a true icon of his breed within the show ring.

Baz holds the prestigious title of qualifying for the Horse of the Year Show on multiple occasions and also being placed in the top 5.
He is Unbeaten by any stallion of the same breed in his class. With his fabulous conformation, exceptional temperament, effortless movement, and proven ability he is known as one of the best.
He began his ridden career later than most, having been backed at the age of 10. As he has not been over-shown or overworked, he has relatively low mileage for his age.
Baz is a versatile gentleman, trained for both natural and AI coverings, serving on just a headcollar and lunge line.

He is also the current Champion of the London International Horse Show, where he outshone fierce competition, further solidifying his unmatched reputation. Previously driven as well as ridden, Baz is straightforward, reliable, and simply breathtaking to watch.
PSSM1 & FIS clear, he recently passed a 5-stage vetting, and is swabbed for the 2025 covering season, Baz is ready to make an impact wherever he goes.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own an outstanding stallion who represents the pinnacle of his breed.

Selling him has been a heart-wrenching decision, but due to life circumstances, he deserves more time and attention than I can currently give. The lucky new owner will gain not just a horse, but the best of friends and true champion in every sense.

Sold with HOYS entries and the Ride at RI. He would also be a massive contender on the SSADL scene. Many references on this horse would be available from top people.

Movement is straight and floaty and he is ready to go out and do some test. He has been to many arena hires with others and alone and seen the boards on many occasions.

He has been schooled professionally and correctly with his future in mind.

He has been cross country schooling and enjoyed every minute, he has been on many occasions and developed strength and experience every time. He would definitely look the part on the hunt field.

He has been ridden by all different abilities and his wonderful temperament shines through. So even your nervous granny would enjoy him.

He is easy to be around and handle even my eight year old leads him in and tacks him up and loads him up. Always his amazing temperament shines through.

This boy has such a bright future ahead of him having so much talent and his cool calm temperament will definitely be a hard horse to find. He really is worth his weight in gold.

Super Smart Gentleman

  • Sweet natured and an absolute gentleman and easy to do
  • Lovely paces that cover the ground well.

The most heartbreaking sale due to no fault of his own but due to change in circumstances and daughter off to uni soon.
With this in mind please NO time wasters, joy riders, day trippers, dealers. His new home is paramount and be prepared that I may ask for references,we would love him to go to someone who would be happy to keep in touch.

Charlie is the most sweet natured gentleman of a horse, who loves humans. Very easy to do in all ways, he never complains and wants to please.

With previous owners he has been shown at HOYS as a maxi cob and coloured with a professional and as an amateur to RHIS 2024 by myself. He is happy to continue with showing however he is not for the competition yard life now but would suit an amateur who wants the dream of showing at big county shows and being in the rosettes. Having said that he would happy turn his hoof to dressage as he has 3 amazing paces. What he is not is a show jumper and never will be his forte! He will happy pop a log out or a small fence and enjoys this once in a while but really this is not what Charlie is made for.

He travels well and will stand in the lorry no worries and also enjoys going out to clinics and a blast on the gallops.

Charlie loves his rides out in company and alone. He has been to a few early season hound exercise meets with my daughter, where he stood still not phased by the hounds at all but he was strong in the field and much preferred to be up front however he did have breaks! And thoroughly enjoyed himself!

We feel he would be ideally suited to a mother/daughter/son share having said that he is a competition horse and not a novice ride and does need a confident jockey and you will get the best of him.

Sale to include all tack ( made to measure double bridle) GPD saddle and rugs.

Open to vetting.

Potentially looking for new home as after a knee injury earlier this year I've not got the leg power to do him justice

Based near Lauder, Scottish Borders

Looking for a kind, experienced home for this lovely cob-cross type. 5 years old, 15hh, lightly backed and ready to continue his journey with someone who has time and patience, same home since birth and still in contact with his mother and what is most likely his father.

A few highlights:
CHAPS registered
Lightly backed – a proper blank canvas
Long reins, lunges well, hacks alone or in company
Been to pole clinics and inhand shows – travelled and stayed away with zero fuss
Potential to show – eye-catching markings and a lovely attitude
Laid-back temperament – more woah than go
Barefoot, hardy, and low maintenance
Never sick or sorry – a happy, healthy young lad

He’s been brought on slowly and sensibly – never rushed. Still green in the school as have done minimal schooling with him, so not suitable for novices, but ideal for someone confident and patient who wants to build a genuine partnership.

The right home is far more important than a quick sale.

Whether you’re after a fun all-rounder, a smart leisure horse, or something with show ring potential – he’s got the foundations and the personality to go far.

Message for more info, photos, or to come and meet him!

Qualified for HOYS 2022 (finished 8th) and 2023

Phoenix competes in coloured horse classes and also Maxi cob classes

He gives an exceptional ride and is always very mannerly for the ride judge, often scoring highest ride marks in his classes

Phoenix is a schoolmaster and knows his job in the ring

He also is fantastic to hack, and absolutely loves it!

Due to his lovely rhythmical and uphill paces I feel he would also be well suited to dressage.

He is Freisian X so feel this is certainly something he could excel in

He turns heads wherever he goes, he really is an oustanding horse!

Sadly available on behalf of his owner as her circumstances have changed

Whilst he is an incredibly genuine and kind horse, he would not be suited to a novice due to his size

His made to measure Black Country saddle and a Premier Equine wardrobe also available

We have for sale our lovely Ruby, Ruby has been within our family for the past 6 years where she has been an absolute delight in every way. She is easy to handle on the ground, brilliant to bath/trim she loads and travels like a star.

Ruby is up to date with everything.

Ruby does have a sarcoid on the inside of back leg , has never caused any issues or gotten any bigger , vet said to leave alone.

Ruby wouldn’t suit a complete novice as she’s a forward thinking mare, not a plod Absolutely no malice in her at all, never bucked reared or bolted.

Low mileage as hasn’t done too much but is now on schooling livery where she is showing so much potential and works lovely in an outline. She loves to jump , isn’t phased by fillers. Has been to shows and doesn’t get heated in a different environment.

Hacks alone and in company and is fab in open spaces.

A really striking mare with a positive attitude to work , will make someone a lovely all rounder/show horse /happy hacker, would suit a variety of homes.

Ruby does grow a ton of feather but had them clipped last year due to bad mud fever, they are now growing back nicely.

Forward and fun lightweight cob, not your typical kick along so no novices please.

Works nicely into the bridle, going well in walk, trot and canter popping a jump.

He’d make a really nice hunter, show cob as he really looks the part.

Easy on the ground and good doer.

Lives in out. Good to hack.

He’s good to clip and for farrier. Loads and travels well. His vaccinations and worming up to date. Ben was purchased last but proved to be too much horse for his novice rider.

He is well handled and has started groundwork, good to groom, clip and he loves a bath ! Good to travel and load.

Old head on young shoulders type with an independent unflappable character , good with other horses and respects electric fencing.

Happy to be stabled or turned out alone and shows no sign of seperaxion anxiety to other horses.

Currently out at night and stabled during the day

He has been shown locally with success and been out inhand hacking where he has met dogs, pushchairs bikes etc.. and was unphased !

He is a super cob who once matured I’m sure will excel in any discipline.

This lovely boy is sadly for sale through no fault of his own. 6 years old and 153 cm.

I have 2 in the same class so he has been left on the sidelines. I have owned him 2 years. He is a Morrows cob who’s records speak for themselves. I have done a handful of local shows with him and he is still green but now ready to go further.

We have brought him on slowly, he hacks happily alone and in company. Has had 7 days behind hounds last winter. Been x-country schooling and a couple of dressage competitions. As he is only 6 in my opinion he is not for a novice or as a first horse.

He travels happily in a trailer or lorry and has been a pleasure to take out. Lives in or out, alone or with others.

Vaccinated and measured to date. Needs a twitch to clip his legs but good as gold with the rest. Loves a good groom and a bath. Will bang his door for attention, easily cured with an electric spring gate as a deterrent, not live.

Excellent to catch, shoe etc. home is most important for this lovely boy. He is

TWEEDFELL THE DUCHESS - By Asby Mills Warrior

Dolly is a stunning, minimally marked contender for the ridden HOYS open / junior classes. She has lots of presence, is light on her feet and has a lovely, kind temperament

She is 2yo (3 at the beginning of Feb 2026) and currently stands 13.1-13.2hh

I have given Dolly an excellent start to her education and she is good to trim, bath, oil, tie up, and she leads in and out of the field quietly either by herself or as a pair with another youngster

She has lived out all year with a shelter, but is equally happy to come into a stable

She has been brilliantly behaved at shows (been to 2), trotting out beautifully and is easy to hold in a halter. She didn’t bat an eyelid today being stood whilst big lorries and other ponies went by ??

She has qualified for the youngstock final at CHAPS Championships and is also available with the entry to Lincolnshire Show & the Great Yorkshire Show

Can be viewed 30 mins ish from Arena UK (Near Retford, just off the A1)

This is a very rare opportunity to purchase outstanding Maxi Cob, who is a true gentleman and would turn his hoof to anything. It’s an extremely sad and genuine sale due to owners previous health issues.

Murphy is out and out the yard favourite, he is a saint to do on the ground and ridden, he’s a complete pleasure to have on the yard.

Murphy has been in the same home since a 4 year old, where he has been his owners best friend. They go on long distance hacks, pleasure rides, pole work clinics, lessons, and just general fun. Him and his owner would always go to places on their own, he’s a gem to handle and get ready.

Bought from Ireland as a 4yo to make 15.2, Murphy just didn’t stop growing and had just become too big for my client to tack up due to her own health issues.

We can’t fault this lovely horse, he has no vices, hacks out in the heaviest alone and in company, always snaffle mouthed, never been sick or sorry and is everyone’s best friend.

We have excellent viewing facilities in Worcester just 15 mins off the motorway.
