Sire is the young upcoming stallion Foxisle Rolex (by Locarno 62, out of the very successful mare Lufonia), Dam is a Class 1 Connemara evented to BE100 who passes on excellent conformation and temperament to all her offspring, I have retained two of her fillies and owned her 12 years.

Lufonia- mare by Cohinoor VDL (Cornet Obolensky/Chin Chin/Stakkato) gained an unpresidented 9.75 for her jump. A mark that is rarely given by the AES. She also gained 9.25 for her frame and was awarded a grade 3* the highest award for mares. An incredible up and coming 8yo mare with many wins at 1m30+ level, last year competing in the Grace C classes and in the Bolesworth 7yo classes very successfully. Huge amounts of scope and presence with natural ability to go all the way to the top.

Locarno 62- has been selected to represent Great Britain twice at the senior European Championships at San Patrignano 2005 and Mannheim 2007 at which he won the bronze medal. He was the best British horse resulting in Great Britain qualifying for the Olympic games. Unfortunately injury kept him out of the Olympics, although he had the best performance in the European Championships and has won and been placed in major Nation Cups, Grand Prix’s and World cups across the globe.

Locarno’s young stock is proven to be very consistent, inheriting his scopey careful jump, correct conformation, elastic movement and fantastic temperament. Judges comments were that she is elegant, well put together and has a balanced uphill frame with good suspension. She scored 9 for condition, conformation and her canter, with an overall score of 8.875 high Gold Premium. She will make an attractive modern eventing type or dressage horse with her lovely paces. Expected to mature at 16.1/16.2hh. The judges also commented on her confident and relaxed demeanour at such a young age but this is testament to her being such a brave and affectionate filly which has made it very easy to train her. She has been bred with performance in mind and her speed and athleticism are already very visible.

Bonnie is very affectionate and relaxed and always the first one to go and investigate new things or people. She's not been jumped under saddle, so she's very low mileage with no problem, she's just jumped in the field, but she's got a cracking careful jump.

I have had the privilege of owning Billy Castle for the last 4 years and he has given me so much enjoyment. Sadly, due to finishing my university studies and looming work he is now available to a knowledgeable 5* home.

Ernie is a true jumping machine. He is never spooky, brave and careful. This year he has only been lightly campaigned through no fault of his own but this summer has jumped d/c in all of his discovery classes. He has previously jumped double clears up to Foxhunter. With me he qualified for the amateur finals last year.

Ernie loves XC, being straight, adjustable and bold, yet never strong or silly. He has previously been double clear and placed at intermediate level and, with me, has achieved numerous placings at 100. He has 24 points but is eligible for downgrading to compete in the Badminton Grassroots series where he would be a serious contender. He would also be fantastic at 1*.

He is very well schooled with balanced consistent paces. He is schooled to advanced medium level. However, he doesn't enjoy being drilled in the school. He always produces a lovely, consistent test scoring in the twenties or low thirties, so doesn't require excessive schooling.

He is a dream to handle, easy to clip, shoe, load and catch. He hacks well in company and is good in traffic. He has had a quiet year through no fault of his own due to my masters studies. Ernie is very sound but does require some veterinary maintenance which is reflected in his price.
