We are looking for a pony for our daughter that will help her get her confidence back.

We aren’t expecting a unicorn but a pony that is kind between 13hh and 14.2hh and who will help build her confidence back up after last pony was super green and consistently reared and spun when out at XC and out hacking.

She is a quiet and light little rider (10 years old) and does a bit of everything. Happy to look at an older pony with mileage left but anything suitable over 6 years will be considered. She wants to be able to do a bit of everything from hacking out alone and being able to cross a tiny stream through to cross country at PC level and showjumping and dressage. Calm out hunting would be a bonus!

Our ponies are kept at home and want for nothing. The pony will have a home for life due to younger sibling.

Can cope with the occasional quirk but as trying to build confidence a dirty stop, bucking, rearing and bolting we would like to avoid.

Heartbreaking decision - DD is currently competing 80 tracks but jumping 90-1m tracks at home and out hiring places. DD is bold and brave with plenty of potential to excel in any discipline, And would definitely jump bigger with a smaller rider. DD is the type to jump anything you ask her to, and loves xc. Can be strong but that’s due to her loving life as she’s a very willing mare.

DD was broken late at the age of 6, she has now been there and done it all, dd is the type that would stand at a show all day long and not be bothered at all and eat her hay. DD has not yet hunted but has been on open fields with loads of horses. She would definitely love to hunt and isn’t phased by dogs at all. Good to hack alone and in company.

DD is easy todo in all ways, loads and travels like a dream alone or in company. Good for the farrier. DD will hack out alone and in company. DD has success at some Showing shows, and dressage competitions, She will turned out with geldings and mares and also alone. Never fights for food or to be first out the field

I don’t even know where to start! What a superstar this pony is, if I could keep him forever and stretch him a few hands then I would!!

In the many years we’ve owned Blue he has has turned his hoof to most disciplines including- mounted games, dressage, showjumping, riding club, showing, pony club, fun rides, hunting and cross country.

These are just a few of blue’s achievements-

Silver medalist at championships of GB dressage, just less than a percentage behind gold

6th place at brc winter showjumping qualifiers

He has won pretty much every dressage competition he’s done, gaining scores of high 70s and even 80% (I have score sheets to prove this)

Also 4x champion and supreme overall champion at the sinai dressage championships a few years ago

Hunting- Blue is an absolute star, he stands like a rock at the meet, good as gold with the hounds, happy to be up front or nearer the back and jumps anything you point him at! He has safety taken a 13year old for a whole season hunting.

Showjumping- Blue is bold, has jumped courses up to around 80 with scope to go higher. Has jumped metre/1.05 at home. He’s fast against the clock and can turn on a sixpence. He is ready to register bs with a competitive junior rider.

Dressage- Blue is just brilliant! Does walk to canter, canter to walk, starting to leg yield and rein back. He has competed up to novice and there’s no reason he couldn’t be registered BD.

Hacking- Blue is safe as houses, he’s been hacked by children and teenagers and will go to a pace to suit them. Happy to go in front or behind, alone or in company. He loves hacking around our local woods and popping logs.

Blue is a forward going ride, he is not a first pony type. He has no vices however he is a competition pony therefore wouldn’t suit a nervous/ novice rider. He needs a confident child, teenager or small adult that wants to compete and have fun.

He thrives off work and is always happy to learn new things. We want blue to go to a home where he is regular competing and would really suit a hunting home also. We don’t want him going somewhere that he’ll just be dragged out of the field to hack once a week, he has far too much talent and potential for that.

Would love to have had this season with him but I just don’t have the time to put into him anymore

Eddie is the easiest pony I’ve ever had please don’t let his age put you off

I backed him by my self and he was super easy, no bucks rears etc

He’s the same if u ride him every day or once a week, there’s been times I’m away with work and he’s not been rode for a few weeks and I can get straight back on without even lunging him

He’s an angel to do in every way he will live out or in by him self or with company can clip, bath goes on walker etc no problem

His ridden work is coming along very nicely, walk and trot is lovely canter still needs some improvement but he’s getting there, will hack out and he has popped a few fences, he will be a lovely working hunter

Travis, 12yro 14.2hh Bay registered class 1 Connemara gelding

Travis has three rhythmical, balanced paces, consistently scoring low 30s eventing and high 60s in pure dressage at Prelim and Novice. Previously qualified for Prelim dressage at BRC national championships.

Travis is a careful show jumper and has competed up to 90cm with many placings.

He has an athletic jump and has evented successfully to BE90 in the past, collecting many placings at 80cm and 90cm, qualifying for Eland Lodge Hunter Trials championships and SEEL arena eventing championships.

He has hunted with the Staff college drag hounds proving to be bold but mannerly.
Travis is excellent to hack, and has hacked all over the South Downs both alone and in company. He is forward going but safe, and is frequently used to “babysit” younger horses! Also good in traffic.

Whilst I have enjoyed much success eventing Travis over the years I have had him, I have sadly lost confidence in a competition setting. We have been enjoying schooling, but he needs a competent, confident rider in a competition environment. Travis is a forward going pony who is sensitive to the aids, and as such prefers a quiet, balanced jockey.

Travis would suit a hacking/hunting home with some occasional fun competing and schooling, as this is what he most enjoys and can give his jockey lots of fun in this area.

My lovely pony Leo is looking for his new home offered at a bargain price.

Leo has been with me since May 2023 and originally bought as a project he soon became a family pet and is loved by everyone who comes to the yard. We lightly backed Leo in the summer and turned him away up until recently so he had time to process the beginning of his education and give him time to mature & grow. Leo hacks alone and in company, did some schooling and took to everything like a duck to water.

Turns 4 in may so ready to crack on with.

He is just wasted with me now with no one small enough to ride him and he needs a job and not to be a field companion. Recently he has been long reining and hacking out with my partner.

He has done tons of Pony Club events, SJ, XC, arena eventing, rallies, camps etc, hunted, and taken several children through the ranks.
