Solent Nancy is the sweetest mare, is super easy to handle and loves attention.

She has gone from jumping 60cm to 1m with us in the last 3 years, but is happiest at 70cm - 80cm. She has done numerous activities including:

- showjumping - up to 100cm;
- one day events - up to 80cm;
- dressage - prelim;
- hunting;
- hunter trials;
- beach rides;
- sponsored/fun rides;
- pony club rallies and camps;
- stay away shows.

She hacks alone (many times bareback) and in company and is good in traffic, including lorries, tractors and motorbikes.

She is good to catch, clip, shoe and load onto trailers and lorries. She is currently stabled at night but would be equally happy living out.

Nancy is an excellent second pony and comes complete with tack and rugs.

No time wasters or complete novices please.

Rio - 14hh - 9yrs - gelding - Appaloosa Roan - British Appaloosa x Moorland

Rio is an attractive, genuine and fun pony with a big personality, but now sadly outgrown. I’ve had him since he was broken in as a 5y/o and produced him myself, so I know him inside out. He’s done a bit of everything over the past 4 years: lots of lessons, Pony Club camps, fun rides, beach trips, steeplechase fun, unaffiliated SJ and DR, low-level tetrathlon, pairs hunter trials, the list could go on! However, hunting is where he truly shines. He absolutely loves it - bold in a herd, has fantastic stamina, will follow over pretty much anything, loves rustic jumps, great with opening and closing gates, and in his element out on the field! He would love to continue to hunt.

Rio’s not suitable for a nervous novice though or as a competitive pony as he’s not bold enough on his own. He would, however, suit a child who has already developed some confidence with their first pony and wants to go out and have pony fun with their friends and learn more! Rio loves an active life and going to Pony Club rallies. He is also very level-headed in traffic on road hacks.

He is the most polite and sensible pony ever! Brilliant manners on the ground - a total sweetheart to handle and be around. No vices or veterinary issues. Good to shoe, box and catch. Travels with ease and stands on the box with patience of a saint.

She’s also show jumping confidently around 80cm and works beautifully on the flat, with rhythm and balance well beyond her years. Unfazed by anything going on around her or asked of her.

Kalypso has a laid-back, genuine nature and has coped beautifully with beginners riding her. She enjoys her work, learns quickly, and takes new experiences in her stride.

She would be ideal for a competent teen or small adult wanting a talented all-rounder to produce further within a kind, experienced home.
