Heartbreaking sale of the most wonderful pony! Cairngorm Commando 12hh grey sec A gelding.

He has been in the family for 4 yrs, previously owned by my sister and after searching forever, I purchased him last year for my 7 year old to have fun when her pony had to unexpectedly retire. My daughter has now moved onto my sons pony so Roo now needs to go and teach another little tot to ride.

At 19yrs Roo has been there and got the t-shirt and that’s why I bought him. I needed something to give my daughter confidence jumping as he will jump anything put in front of him. Roo has previously been to hoys on the Leadrein and wow he can still move. He sits and goes and does the most beautiful show. Last summer we went to the veteran championships, winning all his classes and taking Emily into all evening performances with no work, calmers or plugs! He truly was amazing. Whilst he can move, he will go as steady or fast as the leader asks him to go. He does not mind tiny tots learning to up downs and has regularly been used for their friends to have ride on when over for play dates, all of them getting off with huge smiles on their faces.

He took Emily to pony club camp last summer off lr and I couldn’t believe it when she came back telling me everything she had jumped! He has completed all that is ever been asked of him although he can be lazy off lr and therefore isn’t a fyfr for a tiny jockey. My daughter is a capable, gusty, tight rider and they have totally clicked- she was only 7 but is a good jockey. He has a very bouncy canter and wouldn’t be suitable off lr for a novice rider.

Roo loves his jumping but can get bored flat work and wouldn’t enjoy going around and around in the same arena everyday.

He is fab to hack and not bothered by any vechicles.

He is a very mannerly pony and stands like a rock to be shod,clipped and polished for the show ring! He can be a typical cheeky pony to catch but we leave his head collar on and take treats and this hasn’t been a problem. Roo in a previous life, was badly treated and can be nervous with new people until he trusts you.

Roo is very very loved and will not go to just any home. Emily is too big on the lr and after being told the picture isn’t there by judges, Roo now needs to find a new home. We are heartbroken to be saying goodbye to this unicorn of a pony!

Homes will be throughly vetted as this pony is very special to us and owners must stay in contact with us. We have tones of photos and videos of Roo which can be sent after serious enquires!

Cinderella is a beautiful bay Welsh Section A mare with 4 white socks and an easy to do personality. She has clean limbs and is straight moving.

She was broken at the end of last year & has been extremely willing and sweet to work with since day one. She is great to do in all ways, hacks out on busy roads alone and in company, rides around the gallop, arena, field etc and has been ridden on the lead by a child.

With her wonderful temperament, we feel she would make a fantastic LR/FR/Junior Pony, equally she could plait and go as a hunter.

She is perfect to clip, load and travel, shoe, bath and handle.

She has previously bred 3 fillies and has been lightly but successfully shown in hand winning a WPCS medal along with young handler classes.

Smart little pony who was backed at 3, ridden away at 4 and competed in lead rein classes and now as a 5 year old is out and about at shows and jumping courses. He was 4 th in a mixed height novice class at the weekend and has won and been placed in worker stakes classes. He has qualified for the NPS confined novice small breeds flat class at the winter championships.

Vernon loves his jumping - bold and careful over any type of fence. Jumps water trays and all fillers.

Has been xc and is very bold. Jumps ditches and water, in and out of fields.

Clean limbed, straight moving and correct. All the judges he has been under have been very complimentary of him as a stamp

Hacks out alone and in company

Easy to do in all ways - clipping, bathing, farrier. Goes in the field on his own, waits on the lorry on his own etc

Vernon is still green due to his age therefore needs a small adult or confident child that wants to kick on and go. He would pop round a hoys junior track now and the opens with some more mileage. Alternatively he would make a fabulous all round hunting/ pony club pony.
