Squeaks

We have owned Squeaky since he was three years old, and he has been nothing but an absolute angel throughout his time with us.

He is kind, sensible, and has a lovely nature both on the ground and under saddle. Squeaky has attended several shows, both flat and jumping, and takes everything in his stride. He is unfazed by fillers, happily walks through water, and is always willing to give anything a go.

Sadly, he is offered for sale through no fault of his own, as his little jockey has lost interest and we feel he is wasted with us.

Squeaky would make the perfect all-rounder for a child or family looking for a genuine, trustworthy pony. He is wonderful to handle and enjoys being fussed over. Children can happily brush him, plait him, add glitter, and spend time around him safely.

He stands quietly for the farrier, bathing, grooming, and all routine handling. He loads and travels well and is a pleasure to have around.

We have done a bit of everything with him, enjoys hacking, been to the forest etc.He has a willing attitude and always wants to please .

Squeaky deserves a family who will continue his journey he has had a perfect start and doesn't know bad., he now needs someone to continue to show him the world, teach him the ropes, and love him as part of the family. He has true HOYS potential and, in the right hands with time and experience, I genuinely believe he could go all the way. He is also fine enough to be beautifully plaited up for the show ring.

This is a very sad sale, and finding the right home is our absolute priority.

New home sought for fab little palamino LR SHP pony.

Cracker is a quality 4 yo registered Welsh gelding with a wonderful temperament and all the attributes to make a top Lead Rein, First Ridden, Pony Club or showing prospect. I absolutely believe he will make a FYFR in time.

Standing at approximately 11.2hh currently, he is a true child's pony in the making and has been produced correctly, allowing time to mature. He has a kind, genuine nature, a fantastic attitude to work and is proving to be exceptionally level-headed for his age.

He has lovely straight, balanced paces and hacks happily alone or in company, is sensible in traffic and takes new experiences in his stride.

A pleasure to handle, he as a real people person and is:
Easy to catch
Good to load and travel
Quiet for the farrier and dentist
Excellent to clip
Happy to bath, groom and generally fuss over
Well-mannered and affectionate around children
Lovely breeding with foundation Nebo and Gartconnel going way back

He shows a natural willingness to learn and has a level head which will serve him well in a variety of disciplines, including showing/PC/WHP as well as general family pony duties.

He is ready for a little jockey to continue his education and build a special partnership.

Open to any vetting.

Help with transport possible.

A much-loved pony who will only go to the very best home where he will be adored by his own little person.

Absolutely loads of photos and videos available on request.

Beau is the best boy, he has beautiful bloodlines and confirmation. Excels in the show ring bringing home many ribbons!

He is truly handsome, full of character a real yard favourite! My daughter does everything with him herself, catching him in from the field, putting him out, leading him, picking out his feet and whatever else they wish to get up to together! We purchased Beau last year to regain my daughters confidence after some bad falls on a previous pony who was mis-sold to us.
He has done his job and is now very sadly outgrown.
Beau is generally more slow than go especially in the ménage, but great for kids learning the ropes especially learning to canter as he’ll do a few strides then comes straight back to trot, he can be a little slow for little legs to get going but does pick up the pace if you ride with a schooling whip, or out hacking etc.
We are heavily involved with pony club. He has done a bit of everything with us from PC Rallies, 2x Summer camps, Area Mounted Games comps, jumping, XC, kids hunting with the hounds, Hacking, Agility, ODEs and local showing. There is nothing this boy won’t turn his hoof to!
He is your typical cheeky Welsh and has so much character! He is constantly pulling rugs off doors, throwing his buckets and grabbing hold of coat zips he is Completely in your pocket loves a fuss and attention.

- Beautiful bloodlines/confirmation - excels in the show ring always in the ribbons!
- Safe, sensible and kind (but cheeky!)
Great to hack
- Gives a lovely steady canter, great to learn up downs
- Done all Pony Club Events
- Happier to load in company, can take 5-10min to load when going out alone but always goes on and travels like a dream.
- Excellent for farrier, dentist, clip etc.
Up to date with Worming, Vaccinations, teeth.
- Currently living out at night in during day but is adaptable.
- 8yo rider does everything with him herself.

Just above mid 4 figures. No loans or LWVTB.
Based in Essex.

We are in absolutely no rush to sell this precious boy. This is a very sad sale for us so the right home is far more important than a quick sale. He deserves the best and we will be very choosy in where he goes! Previous wonders would also like to stay in touch.

For us the ideal home would be someone wanting to do lots of variety, pony club, hacking, fun rides etc and preferably who is on LR/ just branching out off LR and has plenty of time to spend on him - better still with a sibling waiting in the wings!

Hope Mandy, 12hh 2014 Registered Welsh Section A mare, sire Rookery Stardust dam sire Cascob SilverGhost.

Hope is a mothers delight, this pony is truly very special to us and has been a massive part of my niece and nephews riding and progress, backed and produced by them, she has done a bit of everything including in hand(local & county level), ridden local showing, jumping, workers, gymkhana she has also bred a foal in her time with us. She has been on and off lead rein so a 1st or 2nd pony and will test kids as they get more confident.

Great hacking goes first or last doesn’t hot up even if the others canter off she will walk on a long rein until she is asked to go faster. Great in traffic will look but never naughty. Has a confident pop over a fence can be cheeky if her passenger not paying attention but no malice. The kids literally hang off her and she doesn’t do anything!

Great to shoe (fronts in the summer when kids do more riding), box, clip, teeth, vet, catch, handle loves a pamper.

Her only faults! She has mild sweet-itch managed with a supplement and her Aussie Rug and she kicks the door if left on her own in the stables. While the others go riding.

Vaccinated (up to date), wormed, physio and teeth done regularly.

Will come with her full rug wardrobe(Mainly Amigo/Horseware) and her bridle and shires aveimore pony pad (leather saddle currently doesn’t fit as she has put a bit of weight on but will sell with her if you want it)

Outgrown and loss of interest is our only reason for selling this much loved pony we have kept putting it off.

Rolo loves hacking, fun rides and hunting. He does not like to go in an arena as a working pony but would happily go in an arena on a lead rein.

He has had lots of inexperienced riders on him and is happy to take them for a ride. Rolo hunted last season and was amazing. He would love this as his main job. He enjoys fun rides, group hacks etc.

Rolo lives out with us but has been in during the winter in the past. He has amazing feet, no shoes. Up to date with PVT, physio, dentist etc. He is fit and ready to start his next chapter.

Farwood Bonny Lady (“Magic”)

12hh Welsh Section A Mare | 9 Years Old (2017)

We have owned her since she was 4 years old, when we bought her as a lead rein pony for our son and later our daughter. She is much-loved by my son who has ridden her since he was 5.

Magic is a sweet-natured mare who thrives on attention and enjoys having a one on one bond with her jockey. She lives out happily, is barefoot, and is good to shoe, clip, load, travel, catch, and handle. She has never been sick or sorry and is fully up to date with vaccinations, teeth, back checks, and physio.

During her time with us, Magic has attended unaffiliated shows, Pony Club activities, arena hires, cross-country schooling, hunt rides, beach rides, and plenty of hacking. She enjoys her jumping and happily pops around small courses.

She is good on the roads and sensible with traffic. While she doesn’t particularly enjoy noisy motorbikes, if spoken to reassuringly and turned towards the noise, she is happy to pass them. We live in a quiet village, so she has not been exposed to heavy traffic on a daily basis.

As a lead rein pony, Magic has been a true sweetheart, taking confidence from her leader and looking after her young riders. We have explored her suitability as both a first and second pony and feel she is most suited to a lead rein home.

Off the lead rein, she can be sassy and opinionated and needs a competent, confident rider to get the best from her. She can be spooky off the lead and can buck to avoid hard work more than anything, so we want to be completely honest in finding the right match for her.

She has lovely Welsh breeding and presence and would make a fantastic lead rein pony, while also offering potential for M&M and WHP activities in the right hands. She is happiest in a home where she can build a partnership with her rider and continue to enjoy a varied life.

Magic comes with her tack.

This is a very sad sale of a much-loved pony, and finding the right home is of the utmost importance.

  • Perfect child’s pony
  • Quiet in all ways

It breaks our hearts, but our daughter has gone onto a new pony

She's a stunning 10-year-old piebald cob 11.2 hh with a temperament to die for. She's an absolute dream on the ground – good to groom, catch, and load. She picks up all four feet without a fuss and is fantastic for the farrier and vet. She'll stand for hours being groomed and loves the attention! She is up to date with her vaccinations, farrier and dentist

Under saddle, she's equally wonderful. Safe and sensible, she's perfect for a child. She'll happily lead or be ridden alone, pops over little jumps, and has even done a dressage test which she came 1st with 71.92%. Hacking is a joy, whether alone or in company, and she's confident going first or last. She's experienced beach rides and is unphased by anything. She has no vices what so ever.

She's bombproof and doesn’t spook at anything. She is used to traffic noise, diggers, tractors and quads. She's versatile in her living arrangements too – happy stabled or in the field, alone or with others. She's been turned out with horses ranging from tiny Falabellas to 16.2hh horses, so she's not fazed by different sizes.

We've had up to 7 children around her at once, grooming her, and even 3 year-old twins brush her alone and with my daughter. She truly doesn't put a foot wrong. She even won 1st place at the Pycombe Children in Need show! Vets are welcome to come and vet her. Every show she has been too she has always come home with rosettes she even won a rosettes trophy and medal

Her wardrobe (GFS Monarch pony saddle and bridle) is available separately.

This pony is a gem and will bring so much joy to the right child. Don't miss out on the opportunity to give her a loving home.

Heartbreaking sale of one of the best ponies we have ever had the pleasure of owning!

This pony does it all, from winning some of the strongest WHP classes with ease in the country, to keeping up with the pack in the hunt field, to swimming in the sea with his best friend, to safely teaching 3 year old jockeys their up downs, on and off the lead rein.

He would happily continue his worker career, in the Cradles and Juniors or step up for an older jockey in the opens. Equally he would be ideal to teach a younger or less experienced child to jump steadily. He is so safe and would easily step down for the tiny tots to grow onto and reach the bigger courses in time.

Likewise he is the most beautiful stamp of Dartmoor, your true black beauty, so has been very successful in the flat class with us as well, in the first ridden and junior small breeds.

He is not only multi talented, but extremely well put together too with good solid legs with masses of bone. He comes out with the highest show and conformation marks most times he enters the show ring. He is the rare whole package!!

Eric comes along with his Royal International Cradle Stakes ticket for July and London International Cradle Stakes ticket which he picked up first time, if he were to find his next little person before the show dates.

This is a very sad offering, only due to personal reasons beyond our control. We have hundreds of photos and videos of him, he has been my daughter’s best friend for the last three years and it will be very hard to part with him. He is just a joy to have around and the right home is so important, if this isn’t found we will find a way for him to stay.

Please get in touch for more information.
Substantial price to reflect his talent, quality and show record.

Sansa – 11.1hh Palomino Mare, 5 Years Old

A truly special little pony looking for her next best friend.

Sansa is a beautiful 11.1hh palomino mare, 5 years old, with the kindest nature and a fantastic attitude. We bought her as an unbroken 3-year-old and she has been ridden by our children since day 1. She was professionally broken earlier this year and has proven to be exceptionally sensible and straightforward.

She has enjoyed beach rides, hacks, and rides around the farm. Despite her age, she is very mature and level-headed, taking everything in her stride.

Sansa is:

100% to catch
Good to load and travel
Excellent for the farrier
Happy to bath and groom
Kind and affectionate with children

She has never bucked, reared, bitten, or shown any nasty behaviour. She is a very honest pony who always tries her best and has never put a foot wrong.

Sansa is ready to be the most amazing Pony Club pony, first ridden prospect, family pony, or show ring candidate. She is ready for another child to love and enjoy, and we are looking for the very best home for this wonderful little mare.

With Sansa only being 5 she is still a lead rein pony but I think with a more competent jockey she would easily go off the lead rein.

Only for sale due to our boys loss of interest and she is wasted in our field.

Serious enquiries only.

Bags of cradle stakes potential.

Produced by my 9-year-old daughter and handled entirely by her.

Frankie has three eye catching paces and a scopey jump. She has had a broad education: lots of Pony Club, unaffiliated showjumping, WHP, cross-country, fun rides and endless hacking.

Good to catch, clip, load, travel, farrier and dentist. She is barefoot, lives on fresh air, and has no vices.

Would suit a knowledgeable home looking for a versatile pony to continue bringing on, competing, and having fun with. I would love her to go to a busy family with siblings: she goes well on the lead rein, whilst also having the ability for an older child to compete. She loves to be busy, and is always the first to the gate to see us.

If my daughter had any interest in showing I’d be keeping her, but sadly she’d rather do pony racing!

Ruby is an eight-year-old roan bay mare Dartmoor Hill Pony, standing at approximately 120 cm. She is a genuine child’s pony – excellent on the lead rein but is also a good second/first pony. She is my granddaughter’s best friend and is much loved.

Heartbreaking sale owing to my unexpected health issues. Ideally seeking a knowledgeable home where Ruby can enjoy a range of activities with a new best friend and fulfil her promise as a fun, all-round, pony club type pony.

We have owned Ruby since August 2022, straight from her excellent breaking in by Tara Morris Equestrian. On the lead rein, Ruby carries small children with care. She responds to verbal instructions to walk, trot, whoa, and stand. In the last couple of years, she’s been ridden mainly by my eldest granddaughter as the other two have lost interest. Ruby is only ridden in the school holidays when my granddaughter comes to stay. After each six-week gap, Ruby does not need to be ridden by an adult or lunged – just a quick brush, tack on, and out we go. Ruby loves hacking and is happy to go in front or behind. I have also led her from my horse a couple of times. Ruby is very good with traffic on our local roads/lanes, including noisy farm vehicles, sometimes giving my horse a lead past some ‘monstrous’ vehicle! She is sensible on bridleway tracks and in open spaces.

Ruby has been to a few local shows, taking part successfully in leading rein ridden classes and gymkhana races. My granddaughter is learning to jump. She and Ruby have competed in a few classes on and off the lead rein. Ruby is less enthusiastic and relatively inexperienced in flat work in an arena and, given the chance, can drift towards the exit!

Ruby is a very good doer. She lives on a nearly bare paddock with hay or haylage provided at regular intervals during the day/at night. She has never had laminitis, nor has she ever been sick or sorry. She lives out generally though I tend to bring her in at night during bad weather in winter to let her dry off from the rain and to get her out of the mud. She is barefoot with fantastic feet. She is good with the farrier and dentist, and is up to date with teeth, feet and vaccines. Ruby is easy to catch, and she loads and travels well in our horsebox. My granddaughter does everything with her, such as grooming, picking up her feet, tacking up, and loading in the horsebox. She does not kick or bite. She is good with dogs.

Ruby is a pretty pony who changes colour with the seasons. She is bay roan in summer, a rich red bay in winter and nearly white with black points in the spring.

Serious enquiries only please for this very special pony.

Located in North Wales (30 minutes from Chester).
Her tack is available by negotiation.

Pretty lead rein pony looking for her new family.

Hacks alone or in company, pops round a x-pole course, has done PC rallies, local shows, fun hunt ride, and always in the ribbons when showing.

Never strong or silly, never bucked/reared/bolt or tug for grass. The children can do most things with her by themselves, catch, load, groom, tack up etc. Can pull a face at you in the stable around food.

Barefoot and easy to keep, lives out off fresh air or come in during the day. Happy with mares or geldings. Never had laminitis or any health issues.

Can be spooky, hence more suited as a lead rein. But my children, and a lightweight adult, do ride her off lead rein. Would need more schooling in canter. Could also suit a teenager wanting something to produce for showing, in hand showing, or potential broodmare

We’ve owned her for nearly 5 years, and was in previous home since a foal so full history known.

Travels well in trailer or lorry, great with farrier (shod in front), gets on well with others and likes a cuddle, easy to clip.

Up to date with everything. No vices or health issues.

Jasper

42 inch/106cm, Grey, 9 year old gelding.

Jasper is a genuine, versatile pony with plenty to offer. Looking for his new best friend & family.

He is a kind and willing type.

* Produces a nice dressage test
* Has experience pony racing
* Is suitable for Lead Rein riders & Experienced riders
* Loves his jumping & hacking
* Has a great attitude and loves his work

Jasper is a straightforward pony who we had brought with hopes to do workers with but unfortunately due to new jumping ponies we haven’t got the time he deserves.

A wonderful all-round pony with the experience to teach a younger rider while still being competitive enough to enjoy a variety of activities with a more experienced older rider.

Please get in touch for more information, photos, and videos.

Serious enquiries only please. Happy to accept an offer to a good loving home.

127.7cm Show Pony – The Ultimate Safe Child’s Ride

Absolutely stunning 12.2hh show pony with exceptional manners and a temperament. A true child’s pony who is safe, sensible, and easy in every way.

Only lightly shown as we are concentrating on novice ponies but will step up or down a level depending on jockey. Has safely taken my daughter from FR into the the open classes.

Previously qualified for RIHS and placed highly in the few qualifiers he has contented this year.

Perfect to handle on the ground and ridden and handled by children. Genuine confidence-giver with no vices. Easy to do in every way.

Would suit a nervous child wanting a safe, confidence giver pony to learn on and ideal for a home produced family.

Only reluctantly for sale to the very best home as prematurely outgrown and concentrating on younger novice ponies.
