PONY CLUB ALLROUNDER AND BEST FRIEND

Ref #: 411618
  • Much loved pony looking for a new best friend
  • Fun allrounder
  • Attended PC camps
£5,000 ONO
  • Welsh Section B
  • Chestnut
  • Gelding
  • 18 years
  • 13.1 hands
  • Much loved pony looking for a new best friend
  • Fun allrounder
  • Attended PC camps

We’ve owned this wonderful boy for 6 years. In that time he has been a best friend for both of my daughters and is now very sadly outgrown.

In his time with us, Nemo has attended five PC camps, PC rallies, shows and had a blast at Field Farm and on the beach.

Has had a quieter time over the last 12 months, due to his riders other commitments, but still has had regular flatwork lessons. Attended a PC flat work rally and showing show in the last month where he (as always) behaved impeccably. Doesn’t need riding everyday and can be picked up and put down without issue when life gets busy. Nemo is great to hack (due to rider age we’ve only hacked in company).

Nemo has had numerous children sit on him over the years and has always been calm and patient. He would make a lovely leadrein pony as he loves walking alongside his handler. Has also done pony swaps at camps and is always a favourite.

Beautiful on the flat, he would make a lovely dressage pony and has done some low level showing with us and always comes away with a ribbon. Jumping wise, he absolutely loves cross country and rustic fences and will pop round a course of small show jumps. Nemo has a lovely jump, but can be looky at colourful fillers/planks and can be speedy as the fences get bigger. For this reason when SJ he requires a competent rider.

My daughters have always done everything themselves with him and he’s a true child’s pony to handle. Good with farrier and vet, good to load, catch etc. Can be sensitive to clip, but we clip every year and take just our time.

No vices, happy living out, but equally happily comes in at night over winter.
Will come with tack and rugs. Lots of photos and videos available on request. This is an extremely sad sale so no dealers and no time wasters please.

£4,000
  • Dartmoor

  • Gelding
  • 13 years
  • 12 hands

It is with a very heavy heart that we are offering our much-loved Dartmoor pony for sale. We have owned him for the last 10 years, and during that time, he has been an incredible teacher and friend to our children, helping them gain confidence and enjoy every aspect of pony life.

He is a kind, gentle and genuine pony who adores children and is a pleasure to handle. He has impeccable manners on the ground and is happy being groomed, fussed over and loved.

Over the years he has turned his hoof to a little bit of everything, including:

Local shows
Pony Club rallies
Mounted games
Hunt rides
Hunting
Eventer challenges
Show jumping
Handy Pony classes

Most of these activities have been enjoyed on the lead rein, where he has been a fantastic confidence giver. He will happily be led from another horse, making him ideal for family rides and younger riders.

He is excellent to hack, sensible in traffic and enjoys getting out and about. He is also happy to be ridden off the lead rein, although he is not a forward-going pony and does require a rider who is prepared to keep him moving with plenty of leg.

This special pony is looking for a loving family where he can continue to be cherished and help another child create wonderful memories. Finding the right home is far more important than a quick sale.

Please get in touch for more information, photos and videos.

  • Actively looking for the best Pony Club ponies
  • Some fabulous knowledgeable homes waiting
  • No fees for sellers

I have motivated clients looking for genuine, kind, quality and proven ponies to take part in all Pony Club activities.

The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There is no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet - that is not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

All leads will be handled with discretion. Please feel free to give me a call, drop me a WhatsApp or check out my Instagram page @theponysearchagent

Heartbreaking sale of one of the best ponies we have ever had the pleasure of owning!

This pony does it all, from winning some of the strongest WHP classes with ease in the country, to keeping up with the pack in the hunt field, to swimming in the sea with his best friend, to safely teaching 3 year old jockeys their up downs, on and off the lead rein.

He would happily continue his worker career, in the Cradles and Juniors or step up for an older jockey in the opens. Equally he would be ideal to teach a younger or less experienced child to jump steadily. He is so safe and would easily step down for the tiny tots to grow onto and reach the bigger courses in time.

Likewise he is the most beautiful stamp of Dartmoor, your true black beauty, so has been very successful in the flat class with us as well, in the first ridden and junior small breeds.

He is not only multi talented, but extremely well put together too with good solid legs with masses of bone. He comes out with the highest show and conformation marks most times he enters the show ring. He is the rare whole package!!

Eric comes along with his Royal International Cradle Stakes ticket for July and London International Cradle Stakes ticket which he picked up first time, if he were to find his next little person before the show dates.

This is a very sad offering, only due to personal reasons beyond our control. We have hundreds of photos and videos of him, he has been my daughter’s best friend for the last three years and it will be very hard to part with him. He is just a joy to have around and the right home is so important, if this isn’t found we will find a way for him to stay.

Please get in touch for more information.
Substantial price to reflect his talent, quality and show record.

It breaks our hearts, but our daughter has gone onto a new pony

She's a stunning 10-year-old piebald cob 11.2 hh with a temperament to die for. She's an absolute dream on the ground – good to groom, catch, and load. She picks up all four feet without a fuss and is fantastic for the farrier and vet. She'll stand for hours being groomed and loves the attention! She is up to date with her vaccinations, farrier and dentist

Under saddle, she's equally wonderful. Safe and sensible, she's perfect for a child. She'll happily lead or be ridden alone, pops over little jumps, and has even done a dressage test which she came 1st with 71.92%. Hacking is a joy, whether alone or in company, and she's confident going first or last. She's experienced beach rides and is unphased by anything. She has no vices what so ever.

She's bombproof and doesn’t spook at anything. She is used to traffic noise, diggers, tractors and quads. She's versatile in her living arrangements too – happy stabled or in the field, alone or with others. She's been turned out with horses ranging from tiny Falabellas to 16.2hh horses, so she's not fazed by different sizes.

We've had up to 7 children around her at once, grooming her, and even 3 year-old twins brush her alone and with my daughter. She truly doesn't put a foot wrong. She even won 1st place at the Pycombe Children in Need show! Vets are welcome to come and vet her. Every show she has been too she has always come home with rosettes she even won a rosettes trophy and medal

Her wardrobe (GFS Monarch pony saddle and bridle) is available separately.

This pony is a gem and will bring so much joy to the right child. Don't miss out on the opportunity to give her a loving home.

Welsh Section A Stallion – 11.3hh

A stunning chestnut roan Welsh Section A stallion with four white socks and fantastic breeding. This is a truly heartbreaking sale due to work and college commitments, meaning this lovely pony is currently wasted in his present home.

He is a versatile, genuine pony who knows his job in every discipline. He rides beautifully in a snaffle, hacks alone or in company, and enjoys his jumping. He is fantastic in traffic and is equally sensible when carriage driving, never becoming strong or taking hold.

He travels happily alone or in company in both a lorry and trailer and absolutely loves a stay-away show, taking everything in his stride and behaving impeccably away from home.
In hand, he is always placed when out showing and moves for fun with three lovely, straight paces. He has presence, quality, and a wonderful attitude to work.

He lives happily in or out and is good with both the vet and farrier. Handled regularly by children in just a headcollar, he has excellent manners and loves attention, fuss, and being pampered.

This talented little pony would excel in any sphere and would be an asset to any stud, showing home, or family looking for a genuine, versatile pony. A rare opportunity to purchase a quality stallion with a bright future ahead of him.

Toby (aka Tobleroney Pony) has been with us the last 4 years and has now been sadly outgrown. Although we would love to keep him forever he is too good to be wasted as a field ornament. He needs a new best friend to love and have lots of fun with.

Toby is always happy and willing. He has done pc mounted games, rallies, jumping, showing on and off the lead rein including fancy dress - a little bit of everything.

Great to hack and great in open spaces. Not nappy at all, loves nothing more than having a good canter up on the Downs, and happy in his own company. Will go first or last out hacking and doesn’t mind if others want to canter off, he will happily hang out at the back with the humans!

He does require some leg to get him going in the school and it’s fair to say it probably isn’t his favourite thing so he would enjoy a varied life. He will happily trot or canter over a course up to 50cm and is nice and steady to and after the jump, Perfect for lead reins or those just coming off.

Loads first time every time and travels impeccably, an absolute pleasure to take out and about super easy and takes it all in his stride.
Has been known to throw a little buck on rare occasions.

I’ve been putting off selling him because we love him dearly and he has never been a days trouble, he is such an easy pony to keep. Can live in or out. He is a good doer and we restrict his grazing during the summer months. He is barefoot and happy in Scoot boots in front if needed on very rough terrain. No vices and never had Sweet Itch or lami.

He is so kind and gentle, he has perfect ground manners and is an angel around all children even the smallest of tiny tots can lead, groom, bath, load and do anything with him.

We will all be extremely sad to see him go and would love to keep in touch with his new family.

Please message not call in first instance.

Beautiful, dreamy kids pony looking for a keen new family.

11.2hh registered Sec A, 6 year old, owned since 5 months old, so full history known. Flashy chestnut gelding. Moves straight and the most incredible temperament. Just loves everyone and everything!

So safe around and with the children, he really is a superb kids pony. Done heaps of LR work and a little off lead. He has an exceptional, willing, trusting and kind temperament. You can leave him for months, jump back on for a ride and he is no different! Great with traffic, others horses passing, dogs hooning around him etc.

Been on a fun ride, been shown in hand (placed every time out), gymkhana games, some SJ and XC, tons of hacking (mostly on LR)! Does ride and lead from another horse. Has been ridden mostly by novice riders, including children with disabilities. Mostly ridden bitless but also wears a bridle.

Loads like a dream, clips like a dream, always first at the gate. A real character and lovable chap.

My girls just are not interested in horses (devastated horse mum here) and he’s getting fat!

Lives out, with or without rug, stables beautifully when we need them in. Turned out in mixed herd. Never sick or sorry.

He would thrive in a home that enjoys the fun stuff in life like hacking, cuddles, fun rides, the beach, jumping, XC, WHP and potentially draghunting when brought on a bit more and fit enough! He would also suit something like the RDA as he is so safe.

Special home sought for this gorgeous boy, where he will be appreciated for who he is not what he can do for you. Competitive pony club homes where he barely gets a cuddle or brush and just competed are a no. He deserves a fun loving family who will respect him.

Peanut Butter

12hh Dartmoor Hill Pony
4 years old
Lightly backed

Peanut Butter is an absolute cracking stamp of a pony with a colour that turns heads wherever he goes. He’s a friendly, playful character who enjoys people and attention, although he can be a little nervous at times as you’d expect from a young pony still finding his way in the world.

He is happily walking around on the lead rein with our 5-year-old and has been off leadrein too with her. He has been lightly backed, giving him a fantastic foundation to build on. However, this is where it’s important to be realistic…

Please don’t come expecting to ride him at a viewing and have him go beautifully around the arena.

Peanut is still very young, still maturing, and still learning. He has all the ingredients to make a fantastic pony, but he needs time, consistency, and someone who can continue his education properly.

Whilst he is kind enough to carry a small child on the lead rein, our 5-year-old simply isn’t in a position to help him reach his full potential as she’s an incredibly nervous rider. We feel he would be far better suited to an older child or small rider who can bring him on and enjoy the journey with him.

A lovely project pony with a huge amount to offer the right home.

He would do very well showing!

He was bought nearly 10 years ago for my then 4-year-old for M&M LR/FR showing and he has literally been her best friend ever since.

He has had an amazing and successful show career to date; Inhand, Ridden, Championships, Supremes and has literally covered my daughters bedroom walls with rosettes, trophies and sashes from Lead Rein, First Ridden to Show Hunter Pony.

My daughter has literally learned everything on him from her up/downs, to coming off lead, to cantering, learning to jump, cross country, dressage, pony club and mounted games.

He hasn't been showing for a few years, but I am sure he would love to go back to it and would excel in the veteran classes, strutting his stuff in the ring like the showman he is, or equally be a little person's best friend showing them the ropes like he has done for my daughter.

He is by Nantdywyll Telor out of Colne Tatiana and his full siblings include Colne Tulip, Colne Turbo, Colne Taboo.

Please only message if you are genuinely interested as this is an extremely hard sale for us as a family. No price kickers or video collectors.
