Absolutely stunning bay 12.1hh gelding Welsh Part bred British Riding pony with beautiful paces.

We have owned him for 2 1/2 years and with my daughter he has done all lead rein showing, dressage, mounted games and pony club. Been to numerous rallies and 2 camps.

On the Mounted games team and multiple wins with our pony club in lead rein/assisted.

Done lots of fancy dress, used to different costumes/saddles/bareback! My daughter often rides in princess dresses and practises ‘tricks’ on him!

Lovely temperament, my daughter (now 6) can handle him herself to turnout/load/etc.

Unshod, great to trim/clip/teeth etc. Fully vaccinated.

No vices, turnout alone or in company, great in traffic.

Hundreds of videos and photos available!

Very sad sale, 10* home essential.

  • Pony Club (Camp, Teams, Games, XC) Farm Rides, Gallops, Beach, FUN!

ONLY AVAILABLE AFTER LIHS! Our gorgeous Vinnie is looking for a new home after LIHS. He is the perfect first ridden pony, moves beautifully, really eye catching and a judges favourite. He is great to handle, is super easy at shows and competitions, never gets worked up and has the funniest personality. He is great in open spaces and next to my horse at the gallops. Hacks out well with others but equally on his own. He behaves impeccably at PC rallies, PC camps and team events and competitions.

Vinnie has an impressive showing CV. He has done well at Riding Club level and BSPS. He has qualified and competed at HOYS (2024) and STARS in first ridden, lead rein and workers classes. He hasn't contested in HOYS qualifiers this year but qualified first time out for LIHS 2025 in a huge class at Great Eccleston country show this year in FR working sports pony. He has given my daughter countless rosettes but most importantly immeasurable confidence. Vinnie likes a varied life and we have found that the more variety we give him, the more of a superstar he is in the ring.

Vinnie is looking for his next little jockey as my nearly 8 year old wants to progress in show jumping. The ideal family for Vinnie would be one with young children who really want get going off the LR because he is the perfect transition from LR to first ridden. Also a family who want a super little family pony to have fun with and love like we do.

I can provide a roster of references for how fabulous this pony is, but I will be vetting potential homes too as he is so special to us and only the best will do. Both myself and Vinnie’s previous owner would like to stay in touch and follow his journey with his new jockey.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

  • Stunning pony
  • Super safe and easy in every way

Rio is a stunning 12hh Welsh Mountain pony with lovely conformation and very pretty looks. He has been well handled by children since he was a yearling, making him kind, and easy to do in every way.

He is beautifully bred, sired by Springlane Prophet and out of Delami Misdemeanor.

Rio is a super mover with a naturally nice way of going. He has been lightly backed, long-reined, and is taking everything in his stride. He has been to shows and always comes home with a rosette.

He is easy to load and travels well, and is good with the vet and farrier. He loves people, enjoys attention, and has a sweet, friendly nature.

This is a sad sale only because we are too busy to give him the time and work he deserves. He would make a fantastic young pony for someone wanting a quality Welsh to continue producing.

• Top breeding (Springlane Prophet x Delami Misdemeanor)
• Very pretty pony
• Super mover

Stunning HOYS First Ridden, Junior, Open Palomino Gelding

  • The most beautiful golden Palomino with bright white mane and tail
  • Lovely easy nature, very quiet to be around

Bred by the highly successful Cadlanvalley Stud, Cadlanvalley Goldrush is the most beautiful golden palomino, he’s every child’s dream pony! He is beautifully marked with four tall white stockings and a bright white mane and tail. He makes quite the picture!

Qualified and competed HOYS 2024 in the open B class as a stallion. He has since been gelded and has settled in well to his new life, he is a very quiet and easy to be around, with no stallion like tendencies whatsoever.

Beautiful mover with excellent conformation and very well put together. He has the potential to shoot for the stars and no doubt will be a serious contender in the qualifiers next season.

He would suit an older first ridden jockey or a jockey ready to step up into the junior or opens. He is beautifully schooled and whilst is still young knows his job, however is not yet a first year first ridden or a nervous jockeys pony just because of his age.

A very sad sale only due to a change of circumstances and a focus on jumping, which we have started with him and he has shown great potential in.

Lots more photos and video on request.
Price is fair but reflects his quality.

Parents dream lead rein pony

Ref #: 392387
£3,500 OVNO
  • Welsh Section A
  • Strawberry roan
  • Mare
  • 17 years
  • 11.2 hands

This gorgeous little mare is looking for a new little person to love her.

She is such a sweet thing, adores cuddles and loves to be spoilt. She is used to children, dogs, farm animals and machinery. I trust her implicitly.

She has done various PC activities and Junior Camp. Travels perfectly on a trailer and box. Hacks alone or in company. Happy to ride and lead her.

Lives in and out, never any laminitis. Has been turned out with mares and geldings. Good with farrier, vet etc. Only downside is, she has very mild sweet itch, though this has been managed very easily.

We have had Tinkerbell for just over 2 years. She is a true lead rein pony. She is 100% safe to be handled on the ground in all respects by very young children. She is absolutely perfect on the lead rein walking, trotting, cantering, jumping a course and is excellent to teach on the lunge. Off the lead rein- some days she is fantastic, others she will be a typical awkward mare. She has never done anything scary or dangerous- no bucks, rears or kicks, never takes off or goes too fast, she can simply be awkward and make it difficult for young children to make her go forward.

Comes with new tack that we bought when we got her.

Telynau Royal Dominion aka Baby Dave

A 12.2/12.3 extremely well bred section B who has it all. He would excel in any sphere and definately be a contender for HOYS. Achievements with his previous owners include;

Novice WHP Winner Cheshire 2024
Plaited WHP Winner & Reserve Champion Flint & Denbigh show 2024
70cm Pony club regional eventing Chanpionship Winner 2024
4th in North of England HOYS qualifier

We bought Dave in early 2025 and have done a bit of everything with him, including 2 pony club camps, hacking, beach rides, swimming in the sea, mounted games and all things pony club. He is foot perfect in a group or alone, and can turn his hoof to anything. 100% to handle, box, load, shoe etc and lives in or out

He is quiet enough to make a fantastic LR or FYR or equally would take a more experienced jockey up the levels. Unfortunately we’re now on the lookout for a 14.2 for my eldest so we have to make room

Hundreds of pics and videos on request, open to vetting. High 4’s including extensive wardrobe

Beautiful mare inside and out, perfect lead rein ponyo!

Very confident out, perfect in traffic, would suit a novice lead rein, or a confident off lead rider.

She has taken two novice children under her wing and taught them a lot!

Happy by herself or with others, goes out by herself or with company.

Started doing some polls on the lunge, and some little jumps and she found it fun!

Perfect for the dentist and the farrier.

Good to clip

Perfect little cuddle monster for children to groom, pick up feet, decorate in glitter

13.2 7years beautiful piebald mare.

Has been a livery’s best friend for over a year and she had done such an amazing job at gaining the little girls confidence.

She is fabulous to hack in front or following or alone. Happy to swim in river. Go past large farm machinery. Can put a bomb off next to her and she will stand and look after her rider.

Has been out jumping at different venues and not worried by fillers and fantastic manners in warm up ring. Always come home with a ribbon but most importantly a happy child!!!

Has done a few tests and shows great promise. Unfortunately the little girls loves to hack and jump and do fun lessons!!!!

Before being the liveries pony she was in a riding school for a short time and I was told she was a firm favourite to many children.

She is easy to catch, trim, clip, dentist. Etc. she really is a true super star.

Ready to go and teach her next little rider. She is great to teach her rider canter and she has never bucked, reared, bolted. If you have a nervous child that is wanting to regain confidence she is your pony.

£4,500 ONO
  • Cob
  • Piebald
  • Mare
  • 6 years
  • 13 hands
  • Super Safe Kids Pony in every aspect
  • Amazing temperament and confirmation
  • Traditional and Correct in shafts also

Beauty is a genuine little mare and a Correct model of a pony. Great confirmation and movement been straight and true.

She has done a little bit of everything since been with us, organised pleasure drives with the kids, picnic hacks through the woods a little Potter in the school and a whole load of been painted and pampered! Beauty will stand anywhere tied to new brushed and fussed aswel as outside the pub for a drink and a packet of crisps!

She's 110% in the heaviest of traffic either ridden or driven will lead past any traffic.

She stands to be mounted or when driven will stand at road ends and traffic lights! She genuinely has just seen a little of everything, been exposed in all sorts of different settings and never getting ruffled. She's kid safe and friendly good on the ground and easy to handle.

Snaffle mouthed at all times she leads of the ground, of another pony or off a bike also but willing enough to go on her own or off in front She's happy where ever she's placed.

She's never bucked, reared or gotten strong. With a little schooling i think she would excel in the show ring as she's a lovely head carriage and 3 sweet paces but my children are a little small to put this work in.

She loads on a trailer or wagon, is always first at the gate to catch and come in. Good with the farrier and to clip jjsy easy and hassle free on the yard.

She's seen hounds and never batted an eye, clipped out I think she'd make a fab hunting pony.

She really is a lovely pony that could go and do any job she's asked all the makings but not spoilt in any way. I habe plenty of videos and pictures of her in different situations I can send on request.

She's shod and in regular light work but with the lights drawing in and a young family she just isnt going to get the time she deserves, she's too much of a willing canvas to sit ib the field this winter and be wasted!

Elmswood Spring Fling (By Rotherwood Peter Pan x Broadgrove Spring Holiday). Half brother to HOYS Supreme Pony of the Year 2025.

Woody has previously been shown to great lead rein success by Team Harvey and also in a home produced home.

He is a multiple HOYS and RIHS finalist is an absolute school master on the lead.

He is responsive to the voice and sits beautifully on the bridle for the tiniest of tot. He simply doesn't bat an eye at my 3yr old wobbly son bouncing around all over the place.

Woody would be ideal for a home-produced home in a family looking to move up the levels and win big on the lead.

My 7yr old daughter does ride him off the lead, but he would require some professional input to get the best from him in this role.

On the ground Woody is easy to handle and can be led around by children. He is a dream for them to be around in the stable and they ride him up to the fields bareback.

Woody is in work, show condition and ready to go! Unfortunately a change in circumstances forces a quick sale, hence he is available at a fraction of his value. Videos and viewings available on request (please use WhatsApp for messaging). Show tack available by separate negotiation.

Fifi is a very well bred section B Welsh pony. She is a beautiful, kind mare who moves well and could excel in the show ring either on a leadrein or as a first ridden pony. She has a good jump so might also do well in working hunter classes. We haven't done any showing with her because it's not what we enjoy the most.

She has been to pony club rallies, camp and a triathlon. She hacks out alone and in company with ponies and horses. We live on a farm so she is totally happy with big tractors, loose dogs and the general noise and chaos associated with a busy place. She will patiently tie-up on the yard to be pampered and is quiet enough to be ridden bareback - this is a pony who loves attention.

She is easy to do in every way. Our daughters go out to catch her and bring her in. She is easy to clip, load etc. and will be as quiet in the stable as she is on the yard. We have owned Fifi since she was 6 months old, so have her full veterinary history available.

Genuine reason for sale and only available to a 5* home. References will be sought from your vet and pony club DC.

Super safe tri-coloured mare, she’s good to do in all ways. Hacks first or last with great brakes! Has done everything, clinics, dressage, SJ, XC & fun rides.

She’s up to date with teeth, vaccs and back. Never lame, sick or sorry. To be honest she’s a little legend of a pony, she’s taken complete novices on the weekly club ride and always looks after her jockey. She’s quite chunky and takes up a lot of leg.

Full disclosure - Mable has clipped legs due to the very early and very very mild signs of CPL, it does not bother her, she has no folds or sore areas but because of this she will not pass a vetting (although vettings are still welcome) because of this she is priced accordingly.

Twinkle - A Genuine Unicorn-Level Schoolmaster

Twinkle (Beros Linnet) is truly one in a million – a genuine mother’s dream.

Safe, steady and reliable both on the ground and when ridden, she has been a lead rein, first and second pony. Twinkle adjusts easily to the confidence and experience of her rider. She has taught children to ride and canter, taken riders off the lead rein and helped rebuild confidence after wobbles.

She enjoys her work and has taken part in plenty of Pony Club activities including rallies, camps and training across flatwork, SJ, cross country and tetrathlon. She has also attended many local clinics and competitions, including gymkhanas and showing (First Ridden and M&M), bringing home plenty of rosettes. Twinkle is excellent to hack, sensible in traffic, not spooky, and happy to go alone. She’s also used to bikes, dogs and farm animals, and has regularly ridden on hound exercise.

On the ground, she is straightforward and child-friendly. Children can handle her confidently, including leading, loading and unloading. She loves being groomed and fussed over, is good with the farrier and dentist, is barefoot, and has never needed shoes. She is easy to clip, bathes without fuss and is happy living in or out.

She is up to date with vaccines, teeth, feet and physio.

Twinkle is affectionate, comes to call in the field and loves human company. She has been with us nearly four years and on loan for the last two after being outgrown. We adore her, but feel it’s now time for her to make another child very happy (sale only NOT loan). We would welcome a home that stays in touch.

She comes with her full tack and wardrobe.

A special pony ready for her next young rider.
