  • Actively looking for the best Pony Club ponies

  • Actively looking for the best Pony Club ponies
  • Some fabulous knowledgeable homes waiting
  • No fees for sellers

I have motivated clients looking for genuine, kind, quality and proven ponies to take part in all Pony Club activities.

The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There’s no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet, that’s not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

All leads will be handled with discretion.

  • Ideal lead rein pony or second pony off lead
  • Perfect partner for a young rider
  • Sad sale, only due to current rider outgrowing her

Tia Maria is wonderful 19 year old grey mare, a true all rounder with a heart of gold and lots to give. She stands at 12.2hh (approx) and has been the perfect partner for a young rider who has sadly now outgrown her.

• Brilliant lead rein pony or a good second pony off the lead with a more experienced rider
• Talented jumper – happily clears 80cm but has jumped over 1m15cm
• Doesn’t rear or bite
• Has never had laminitis
• Loves a cuddle
• Not easily spooked by passing traffic, etc
• Well-mannered on the ground, and with the farrier/vet/whilst travelling/grooming
• No health issues but can be prone to sweet itch, which is manageable

Tia is a pony who gives her all, whether it’s a long hack or a fun jumping session with a more confident rider. She’s reliable and has plenty of experience under her belt. Tia is easy to keep and handle, barefoot with feet in good condition.

This is a very sad sale of a much loved pony. She has taught her current rider so much over the last 5 years, but they have simply outgrown her. We are looking for a kind home where Tia can continue to shine and be cherished.

Tack/rugs, etc negotiable.

4 yo gelding standing a strong 11.3 likely to make up 12 hands, plenty of bone and substance to him and takes up the leg!
Extremely well bred pony.

We brought him unbroken earlier in the year. He has done lots of long reining and groundwork and has started very nicely under saddle. Has taken everything in his stride so far and has been absolutely no problem to ride away.

He is working very nicely in walk, trot and canter and popping a small course in the arena and is very neat amd careful. Has hacked out on the road several times.. met cars /vans ... and also popped some little arena eventing fences last week. He is an exceptionally balanced pony with the easiest canter. He is a forward thinking pony not a kick along.

He has been backed by Nanny ..but also been ridden several times by a very petite 10 yo and worked beautifully and looked a total picture, so easy and naturally balanced for a child. Forward and responsive but not strong.

Nice person to do , groom, wash, load, pick up feet etc. He is handled ,led and groomed by my 5 yo boy who has also walked round on the lead rein ( but is not remotely intrested otherwise he would be the sort of pony we would keep for him for the furture ) .Fantastic project for the summer.. brought on a little more would be a fabulous LR/first ridden or WHP. Sensible, kind pony but obviously just broken and riding so is not bomb proof yet and has more of the world to see! Not a made pony yet .. would like an experienced home to bring him on due to age and level of training..Ideal for older child to produce for the younger ones in a few months time or for small mum ( nanny in video is 7 stone 5ft1 ) to produce along side .. I believe produced correctly will make a fabulous family pony.

Wormed ,trimmed up to date .. ready for someone to put their stamp on.

No health issues.

Freddie is sadly for sale my kids have out grown him we never wanted to part with him but this pony loves to work and he bored not doing anything

He's small but mighty is what I call him as he thinks he's 18hh he's got so much character

Freddie does suffer with sweet itch but with his rug he's been ok

Freddie loves jumping it’s his favourite thing to do I also think he would be amazing at cross country and pony days.

With the right rider this pony is amazing, he's very quick against the clock when asked to go but also very good and steady for the lead rein riders

I’ve got loads of videos of him

Freddie is up to date with farrier , dentist, physio , worming and vacations

If you would like to know any more about him please ask,  this is a very hard decision but it would be cruel keeping him as a field ornament when he loves to be loved and worked

Extremely sad sale of this gorgeous little pony.
Star has been with us the last 6 years and has now been sadly outgrown. Although we would love to keep him forever he is too good to be wasted as a field ornament. He needs a new best friend to love and have lots of fun with.

Star is a very good boy at all times. He is always happy and always willing. He is great on and off the lead rein.

He has done pc mounted games, showjumping, dressage, and riding club showing on and off the lead rein. Good to hack and great in open spaces. Not nappy at all, very easy going and happy in his own company.

He would be suitable for all pc riding club activities.

Off the lead star would be more suited for a confident little rider that is fairly balanced and able to give clear aids as he is forward going and responsive. A gutsy little rider that doesn’t mind a fast pace would have so much fun and get the best out of him!

Having said that he does come down to a level for those learning off the lead rein in walk and trot it’s just his canter that’s a quick and responsive pace.

Star has no vices or quirks, and has never bucked, reared, or bolted.

I’ve been putting off selling him because we love him dearly and has never been a days trouble, he is such an easy pony to keep. Can live in or out, never sick or sorry.

This boy is so kind and gentle, he has perfect ground manners and is an angel around all children even the smallest of tiny tots can lead, groom, bath, load, dress up and do anything with him.

Everyone that’s meets this boy immediately falls in love!
We will all be extremely sad to see him go.

Lots of videos available up on request.

Johnnie is a lovely, genuine Performance Shetland who is the perfect lead rein pony and is also happy just off the lead. He has taught two 4-year-olds to ride and is extremely safe in open spaces – nothing fazes him.

He has been on loan for the past year to a novice rider and has lost some fitness due to doing less work, which is reflected in his price.

Johnnie would make a super racing Shetland or WHP for a more competitive child.

He has previously done showing, jumping, and Pony Club with my daughter. He is easy to handle and can be led from another horse, making him an ideal first pony.

Only for sale as we have another pony for our younger daughter who can do the same job and he is too good to be wasted.

Tack included.

It is with a heavy heart that we offer our much-loved pony, Merlin, for sale. He is a truly special boy who will make a wonderful partner in the right home.

Merlin has a kind, gentle temperament and is best suited as a second/third pony. He can be nervous with new people and may take a little time to build trust—particularly in the stable—but there is absolutely nothing nasty in him. With patience and consistency, he forms strong bonds and loves being groomed once he knows you.

He adores children (especially my niece), but benefits from a confident rider to give him reassurance. He needs someone to hold his "hoof"

Beautiful, flashy movement with eye-catching “flicky” toes

Regularly receives compliments

Enjoys jumping, but excels in flatwork. Would make an outstanding show pony. Often ridden and produced by Amelia Hendy Equestrian

Can be difficult to catch until he has formed a bond. Nothing nasty just nervous. A treat always help. Loves to be groomed.

Good with farrier, vet, and clipping

 Up to date with vaccinations

Hacks alone and in company. He is happy to be lead from my horse, I often ride and lead.

Happy in both stable and field

This is a heartbreaking sale, so a genuine 5 star home is essential. Merlin thrives with a close bond and would suit a quieter yard—he is very much a one-person pony.

Please message for more information, photos, and videos

Home is our absolute priority—please share to help us find his perfect match.

Talented, loving family pony

Ref #: 404393
  • Lead rein pony / 2nd, 3rd ridden
  • Would excel in the showjumping ring
  • More go than woah but not lazy
£8,000
  • Welsh Section B
  • Bay roan
  • Mare
  • 12 years
  • 12.3 hands
  • Lead rein pony / 2nd, 3rd ridden
  • Would excel in the showjumping ring
  • More go than woah but not lazy

Leah really is an exceptional pony who would excel in the showjumping ring with her speed, turns and scope. She would also excel in the showing ring with her beautiful traditional Welsh paces. Or would equally be as good as an all rounder, happy hacker, pony to love. Lead rein pony / 2nd, 3rd ridden.

Leah has always been ridden by children and has an extremely laid back nature towards the little ones. Every ride she will always bring her rider back safe and sound, the bonus is the huge smile they will also have on their faces! she has been out to arena hires and as usual she doesn't bat an eyelid at the new area.

Leah is great on the ground with lovely manners, she has always been handled by children and is extremely respectful. Loves a good groom and pamper!

Great to clip, shoe, she’s good to load as long as you have some yummy carrots in hand

UP to date with wormer, dentist, vaccinations. No lumps or bumps.

More go than woah but not lazy.

Hacking: Leah hacks out well in company or solo, never strong or silly, well behaved on the roads, open fields and woodland. Great with all traffic: cars, bicycles, motorbikes, tractors, strange machinery! In a group Leah will happily take the lead, sit back behind or smoosh in the middle. She will plod along on the buckle or pick up the pace if you ask her to.

School: loves having a jump and has tonnes of scope, currently jumping 60cm but definitely shows willingness to take on some bigger tracks. She will float around the outside of the school all day long and has stunning movements! Soft in your hand and never strong. If you have a little one that wants to have a bounce around on the lead rein she will happily be your girl.

Leah is perfect on the lead rein rein and will do whatever is asked of her. Coming of the lead rein I do believe she will be better suited as a 2nd/3rd ridden as she does sometimes make you work for getting her moving forward, this is not every ride of the lead just whenever she decides that she really wants you to tell her to get going. However this attitude is getting less and less every ride and will most likely stop. Not nasty you just have to push her forward up into gait. With a confident jockey that knows what they want you will have bundles of fun with her.

Leah is a very trustworthy girl and always puts a smile on your face, she really is a cracking girl and I can’t fault her.

Shod on her fronts due to a lot of on road hacking, but could go barefoot if ridden on soft more than hard surfaces.

I brought Leah to produce from being a lead rein pony and she has proven to be very easy, I have enjoyed every moment of having her around and now she’s ready to find her lovely little jockey.

Plenty of photos / videos upon request.

Unfortunately no trial facilities on site but there is a track which she can be viewed on or your welcome to hack her out.

FUTURE SUPERSTAR PONY CLUB ALL ROUNDER

  • BEEN IN THE SAME HOME SINCE A FOAL
  • BRAVE, HONEST AND HUGE POTENTIAL
  • A TRUE FUN PONY WHO IS BEING RIDDEN BY A CHILD
Timmy is a truly special little pony with all the attributes to become a top-class Pony Club all-rounder and a child / small adult’s best friend.

He is very genuine and willing in every way. He is currently ridden by a lightweight 13-year-old (5 stone) and is happily working in the school, walk, trot and canter. He’s popping a small course of fences nicely and has been cross-country, where he proved bold and keen, absolutely loving his jumping.

Timmy hacks out confidently both alone and in company and has been very good in traffic. He has a sensible head on young shoulders and takes everything in his stride.

He has been in the same loving place since a foal and has previously attended in-hand shows. He is now ready to go out and about and start getting some rosettes. Will be a cracking Pony Club.

Timmy is good to do in all ways — turnout, catch, stable, clip, bath, tack up, load, and handle.

A very sad reason for finding him a new jockey, he simply hasn’t grown big enough. This is a genuine, much-loved pony who will go on to be a superstar in the right hands. His family would love to stay in touch.

Still young and green, so he will need a kind, knowledgeable home to continue his education — but he has absolutely no malice and all the potential in the world.

His full wardrobe (rugs, saddle, bridle etc) are available to go with him for extra if wanted

Based Whitchurch, Shropshire
