Violet has been with us for 5 years and was our son's lead rein pony and then he rode off the lead rein.

We have classed her as a 2nd pony only because she would not be a plod off the lead rein (at the same time she is not whizzy).

She has been well looked after by knowledgeable folk and is trimmed regularly.

Like all Welsh Ponies she likes her food but she is happy in a field or in her stable.

She is good with other horses and can be in a field on her own. She is good to catch, brush and trim and she will happily stand all day.

She has been shown locally and is happy to be ridden with other horses and is well behaved with them.

She is only for sale as our son is concentrating on other sports and she enjoys the attention of doing things and being loved.

Silver (from the Rookery line) has been the best pony to our 3 children. From my 3 year old son riding him on the lead rein in an Inly Dinky, to my 6 year old daughter coming off lead rein with such confidence to my 8 year old daughter competing in NSEA and Sunshine Tour Qualifiers. The sort of pony that means you can sit at PC Camp with a coffee and relax, or take to a local showing show and come home with all the ribbons.

Qualified for NSEA 40cm this year, and Sunshine tour intro dressage and x poles and 40 last year.

He isnt a world class jumping pony - he isnt sharp enough, but if you want a safe pony to pop over some x poles and small WHP fences in a steady, safe and controlled way, he is your boy. Has done super well as a 122 WHP, which we have done at local level.

Wonderful to hack, but prefers company when he does, either a parent on foot / bike / or another horse / pony.

Happy to live out 24/7 but happy in as well.

If you are looking for a pony who will help your child come off the LR - Silver is your boy. Can be lazy for very little legs, so we often carry a schooling whip or baton.

NEVER SHARP / SILLY / NASTY.

** Silver has had a few months off after pulling a muscle but following physio is now back in work and totally sound and happy. He does have mild sweet itch which is easily managed with the sweet itch jab or a bug buster rug **

A million videos and photos.

Please no time wasters. First to view will buy. Very sad sale, but my daughters have moved up to the next level.

Full Tack Included.

3 beautiful paces. Has done all PC activities. He has been our lead-rein and first ridden. Perfect on lead-rein and with handler near by. Great first ridden at walk, trot and to jump.

Good to hack alone and in company at all paces. Leads off a horse. Good with traffic, tractors, trains and puddles. Not spooky.

Ridden and handled by children. Good for farrier. Currently barefoot. Great to catch and cuddle, always pleased to see you and often gives a little whiney to say hello! Good to load and travel. Lives in or out. No injuries, ailments or lameness. 17 yo. Fully up to date with vaccinations, worming, farrier and regular maintenance massages (yes we spoil him!).

Won Area 2 (age 8 and under) ODE championship last year with a beatiful 87% dressage test and double clear at Todburn. Often out and about at PC rallies and local events also done a few games training sessions. Currently jumping 50cm rounds but has jumped higher at home. Also done some short distance endurance rides with good low heart rate. Comes with full wardrobe including professionally fitted saddle.

Very sad sale of a beloved family pony as our littlest is ready for the next step. On rare occasions Blue can get anxious on the ground and requires reassurance from an experienced handler. Occasionally he misbehaves at canter off-lead hence we’re looking for lead-rein home.

We are in no hurry to sell-we are looking for the best home. Home must be 5* with experienced adults.

Stunning 12hh Welsh Section A Gelding. Chestnut roan with 4 whites and a flaxen mane and tail- stands out in a crowd and would do well in the show ring. Stocky and takes up the leg well but not heavy.

Cracker has taken my daughter from being on the lead rein nervous to cantering around open fields, first shows, and taught her everything she knows. He is easy for children to catch, groom, clip, load (trailer or box), and is as good as gold in all ways. He is barefoot with sturdy feet and has never needed shoes, he is good with the farrier. Loves to hack out either alone or in company and isnt spooky, good with all traffic

On the lead rein, he is the most fantastic pony, one that mothers dream of! He is so good in all ways at all paces and looks after the tiniest tots bobbling around and flapping about. Happy to have kids doing the macarena/around the world etc and doesnt bat an eyelid. Cracker is good to be led from other horses or people at all speeds and this is where he really excells.

Off the lead rein, Cracker is more woah than go generally. He needs leg to get moving but does go. When out and about hes usually slightly more forward but isnt silly. He doesnt hot up if being ridden in a field rather than the school and really enjoys variety. He has done pony club activities, shows and arena hires. He enjoys xc and is good over ditches. Absolutely loves hacking. He adjusts to the rider he has on his back and reacts accordingly.

Cracker is only for sale as he has been sadly outgrown and my second daughter has minimal interest. We have had him for 3 wonderful years. He would suit a family with a couple of children to help bring them on through the ranks. We think very highly of this little pony and want him to be as loved in his next home as he has been with us.

Cracker has never had laminitis to our knowledge and has always been sound without any medical issues. He does need suncream on his nose in summer but otherwise is very low maintainence.

Will come with all his tack, boots etc and extensive wardrobe.

The time has come for our beloved Reggie to find his next little person.

He has been with us for 4years now and has been my little girls world.

He is beautifully put together, abd really moves. He is fantastic to lead and also goes off the lead.

Has competed at some of the countries biggest shows and never needs working in, plugs or calmers he is very much off the lorry a quick 5 mins and is good to go.

He has done lots of PC and riding club rallies as well as his showing. He will happily trot round over some small jumps on the lead but jumping really isn't his thing.

This is a very sad sale for us but he is still young with many more years to give to another family with small children.

Winnie
14hh | 8yo | Cob Mare

The ultimate mother’s dream hacking pony

Winnie is absolutely bombproof out hacking and is solid in even the heaviest traffic — including farm machinery, irrigators, lorries, tractors etc. She is the sort you can put absolutely anyone on; toddler, mum, dad, grandma… and know they’ll be safe! She is a genuine confidence giver and one of the safest ponies I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. She will hack out all day alone or happily hang out at the back in company!

She is the sweetest little mare to handle and adore. Easy to do in every way, although she can pull a few faces when girthing up — nothing nasty, just typical mare behaviour.

In the school Winnie is still green and, off the lead rein, can occasionally be a little cheeky. For this reason she would not suit a complete novice rider off lead rein. However, she is an absolute saint on the lead rein and would happily carry any little one safely around all day long. In her previous home she was a trusted lead rein pony for an autistic child.

She would also make a fantastic second pony for a more confident child!

Winnie is not limited to being just a child’s pony either — I regularly keep her fit hacking throughout the week as a 5’9”, 80kg woman and she carries me with ease.

This is an extremely sad sale, but she is simply too big and wide for my daughter, who struggles to get her forwards as her skinny legs only just reach past the saddle!

Because of this, I would consider swaps for a smaller, finer safe child’s pony that she can get her leg around!

Perfect to load, travel, farrier. Needs sedation for clipping. Totally barefoot. Up to date with all vaccinations & worming.

For sale due to being outgrown, Snowy has given my daughter the confidence to progress to a competition pony.

Snowy has done showjumping (never stopped, jumps water trays and fillers), showing, mounted games and horseball.

He loves hacking, will jump logs and is safe to trot/canter across open fields with my complete novice child.

Goes alone and in company. He is fully handled by children and my daughter loads him herself, he will load in a trailer or our large lorry. He is happy to be groomed, dressed up and covered in pony glitter, jingle bells and fairy lights. Always been barefoot and good for the farrier. Fully vaccinated and wormed/worm egg counts up to date. Always ridden in a snaffle.

Never had laminitis and no known health issues.

I would prefer him to go to a home with a smaller child who will spend many years with him.

Always perfect on the lead rein, my daughter has mostly ridden him off lead but he is slow, although responsive. Registered Welsh Section A.

8year old Welsh section A palomino

Very sad sale serious enquiries only please,

We have owned Halbey since he was a yearling, he is the sweetest pony on the ground absolutely loves to be pampered and groomed will stand for hours. We broke him in our selfs with my daughter being his only jockey, he has mainly done lead rein which he is very good at, his competed and has been very successful out showing. He will go off the lead but still a little green, but with a bit more schooling would definitely go on to be a fantastic first ridden, or open pony. We have not done any jumping with him as my daughter does not like it.

He is great to load and travel and in stable, good for farrier/dentist he does like a friend though, doesn’t like being left on his own. And he needs to have soaked or steamed hay as will cough otherwise.

We are only selling him due to my daughter growing far to fast and as his not proven as a first ridden pony she has decided to keep her other pony for that, so I do not want him being wasted as he is to good for that.

He will only go to the best of homes and I’m in no hurry to sell him.

Firstly before I write any more information. Whoever loans this superstar, will need to spend the first 4 weeks with her here at our yard in St Agnes. This is non negotiable, she is my absolute favourite little person ever, and she will only leave here when I am 100% certain someone can offer her the same loving home that she has here! In an ideal world she would stay here, but that can be discussed.

Where to start!

Elsa has been with us for 3 years now, and has done absolutely everything with my daughter, who couldn't rise to the trot when she got her, but learnt to do this on her (and the pony learnt too) which shows just what an exceptional temperament she has.

She has done ponyclub rally's, mounted games training, hacks, fun rides and lots of training and lessons at home here in st Agnes.

She has only been backed for 3 years, but in that time, I haven't once seen her spook at something out hacking, she's perfect with all traffic including big rally's of motorbikes etc, she will go first middle or last in a group, but we do find it's easier for me to be behind her Geeing her along, as she can be a bit slow if you're backing out with bigger horses.

She's more of a come on will you speed up pony, rather than a whoa will you slow down one, but she will still have a good canter out on our hacks, and in the school when asked.

She's much better as a first ridden, but she will also be a lead rein, but I have found her better with the rider controlling the reins as she's inclined to take her body where the stones aren't so pronounced which can make leading harder (that is probably all ponies that are unshod but I thought best to mention it) if your hacking isn't as stony as ours then she would be a perfect lead rein.

When it is windy in the sandschool and sometimes out at a new venue, she can take offence to a corner, and spook, but this is nothing more than a turn of the bum, and it's never out hacking.

She is forgiving of small people bouncing and having not the best control of the reins, but would prefer this minimised as she's such a poppet she deserves to be ridden by kind riders.

Elsa is in by day and out by night, she has a small feed (this originally started as a bribe as she came to me uncatchable, but it's turned into the favourite part of her day, and she calls to us and comes running to come in) and she has soaked hay in the stable. We manage her grazing tightly and because of this she hasn't ever had laminitis nor been overweight, she is worked on the lunge or longline twice a week and ridden 3-4 times. I am sure she would be fine with less than this, but it would need to be discussed as she has an excellent level of fitness at the moment, and is ready to do pretty much anything the rider wants to do.

Elsa is hands down the nicest pony I've ever met, and she will not go off with just anyone.

I have a million more photos and videos available

37 inch registered Shetland gelding 5 years old. Super cute and will be an amazing kids pony in the future. He’s only young and does require more education. Backed broken and been to first show. Ridden around, stood at ringside with toddlers running about, baby in pram and other pony nearly all day. He was 3rd in young handler with my 2 year old (assisted) He wouldn’t really trot as it was like he knew she was too small to keep up.

First to the gate.. good to catch. Respects fencing.. loves fuss and attention. Good for farrier. Will have a hesitation at ramp if your not carrying a likit but if you are he’s straight up, travels well (backwards) and will stand on box without any issues. Will walk next to pram. He’s not a nippy type and my daughter can literally sit by his food bowl whilst he’s eating.

No dealers or first time pony owners.

Only available as I desperately need to reduce down to the pony’s we are showing. I just don’t have enough time to do everything properly.

I am probably going to be disliked by the girls forever for letting him go.. he has given my daughter so much confidence on the ground.

Robin Goch

Sire: Crimond Elite Dam: Crimond Secret

A very pretty traditional registered Welsh sec A pony. Robin is a well put together mare, leg in each corner and a true welsh pony. She is a great prospect for lead rein or first ridden and will go far in the right hands.

She has been started correctly and being professionally produced, lunged, long-reined and sat on by my child and myself. She has hacked out in hand round our village happily passing traffic etc. We are based on a working farm and is used to all likes of farm machinery and animals. While Robin has only been backed a few weeks she is showing to have a fantastic temperament and has proven to be very trainable. At her first show Robin received 1st and a 2nd with lovely comments from the judges. Her education and experience will continue while she is with us.

Robin really is a pleasure to have in the yard. She is good to tie up, stable, bath, rug, load and travel. She will live in out and comes over to you in the field. Wormed, teeth and farrier up to date.

Ready now to continue her education and start having fun with her new rider. 5* home only for this lovely little pony.

The coolest 128cm 13YO mare

She is the ultimate Pony Club Pony. Forward going, fun and just genuinely lovely to look after.

Has previously done four years of successful lead rein showing & some BS showjumping at 70cm and 80cm.

Would suit either a lead rein home or as a second pony, she’s forward going and is scopey over a fence so wouldn’t suit a child straight off the lead rein. Great to hack and very smart on the flat. Would also suit a small teen to produce further. Barefoot. Easy to look after.

Sensible to hack alone and in company.

Can be seen on sales livery in Tiverton, Devon.

Beautifully bred, top-class LR/FR pony with the quality, movement, and presence to excel in the show ring. Previously a HOYS contender as a First Ridden and still has all the talent to return to that level in the right home.

Edward has excellent conformation and a lovely way of going, but is not a FYFR pony and requires a confident, capable jockey to school and produce him correctly.

Previously had laminitis and EMS, both successfully managed with restricted grazing, controlled diet, and routine. Currently thriving and well.

A genuinely classy pony with huge potential who deserves to be back out competing successfully. Realistically priced to reflect bringing him fully back into peak condition.

I have motivated clients looking for genuine, kind, quality and proven ponies to take part in all Pony Club activities.

The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There is no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet - that is not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

All leads will be handled with discretion. Please feel free to give me a call, drop me a WhatsApp or check out my Instagram page @theponysearchagent

Owned for 2 years and he was bought for my novice 13 year old niece as her first pony after riding at a Riding school. He is extremely forgiving, doesn’t mind wobbly nervous nelly’s he always looks after you happy tootles about and will take it steady in the slow lane. He will stand all day long, perfect to mount. Happy to trot to jumps, pull up a stride after! Then my niece lost interest after 6 months…(boys)

So my then 9 year old daughter started riding him, then I thought he looked fun and I jumped on. And then we unearthed a turbo cob!!! He absolutely loves to jump. We have NEVER come across anything he won’t jump! He will try is hardest off any stride, any angle that his rider puts him in, he never says no and that’s why he’s ace! Happily jumps 30cm in trot with a novice to competing in PC teams at 70cm and training round 1m. If you or your child have lost some confidence you will be beaming after riding mango!! He gives you such a confidence you won’t want to get off. He is a first pony in an arena and hacking but can go up some gears when XC nothing dangerous but he loves it, always has breaks and in a snaffle and never malicious so more 2nd pony in that environment. Making him the perfect family share.

He has competed in PC Sj teams, attended PC camp and out training regularly. I got my brave pants on and went to Somerford camp last year, a first for me. He travels alone or in company we have had many mother/daughter lessons, which I have to say is what every parent aspires to. He is such a dude! Does everything you need a pony to do. Snaffled mouth, no gadgets, responsive off your leg without being sharp and has good brakes. Handled by my daughter in every way no concerns what so ever. Hacks out fab, will even tolerate my non horsey husband on a family hack.

These pony’s don’t come on the market often hence why we have kept him longer than we should have. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since having him and has made her a better rider on her own smaller pony. From a nervous slight 9 year old scared of jumping 30cm to absolutely flying round a metre track. He’s given me my confidence back out competing, knowing that he is going to jump everything I aim him at, even if my eyes are shut most of the time!

Nothing fazes him. We already have a horse each so Mango is just the trusty spare, and he deserves so much more than that. He needs to be someone’s number 1 to be spoilt rotten as he loves to be around you, at all times!

Up to date with everything, never sick or sorry, no vices, old fashioned type. Comes to call, perfect in all ways.
Used to heavy machinery.
We have millions of videos.

Serious 10* homes only please this is a very genuine and emotional sale to say the least.
