This pony has been an absolute pleasure during the time we have had her - she is a true lead rein pony forward and follows the leader

She has had multiple novice jockeys on from tiny tots upwards including popping fences etc

We purchased her in the hope of using her for a fr too, sadly she is far to laid back off the lead rein in the school so for this reason she is very sadly looking for a new home - we did advertise her earlier on in the year but then had a change of heart due to her being such a lovley pony but she isn’t getting the time she deserves

Super off the lead out hacking and open fields

She has attended local shows with us, hacked on and off the lead rein - she is a forward pony on the lead but absolutely 100 in every aspect

Happily pops a little fence and safe and sensible enough to have off the lead in open spaces / fun rides with out any worry

My children are quite competent jockeys age 6 and 10 however we have had a variety of friends children including very nervous ones on her and she really steps up and looks after them

She is good with the farrier / trailer / clip and trim - she is shod in front due to previously having laminitis in her previous home

We have managed her without any issues - she’s on soaked hay and some simple herbal supplements in her feed

She has previously been to the royal Welsh and would easily show as this was our plan with her

She will stand for hours tied up for the kids to groom and faff and good for them to handle on a daily basis

She’s an amazing pony and deserves her next little child to love

Bess is a 13 year old, 12.3hh, welsh cross.

I actually bought bess myself from the brecon sales just over a year ago where she’d previously been used for shepherding (i spoke at length with her previous owners) then due to a change in circumstances sold her on to a great home soon after. Since being sold Bess has been loved by 2 young children, mostly hacking but starting some arena work too on and off the leadrein. Shes been based on a busy livery/racing yard living in and out and had no issues. She’s only available due to a change in there circumstances.

Out hacking Bess is the perfect hack, forward but never strong or silly. Awesome in open spaces will step up a gear if asked but happy to mooch along, never spooky, great in all traffic including farm machinery, incredibly sure footed on all terrains and will hack alone or in company in front or behind with no issue.

She’s started her school work and is fluent in all transitions and holds a lovely forward thinking rhythm but again is never strong. She’s also started jumping and is proving bold and brave over all types of fences, never over jumping anything which is great for a young rider but equally not touching poles.

She’s recently attended a showjumping clinic and an all day show both videos can be found on my page (Amelie Gibbs on facebook including full sales video) She excelled at the mounted games not giving the equipment a second thought.

She’s completely sane with dogs and other horses would be awesome fun out hunting.

Never bucked, bolted or reared. Gentle in all ways on the ground could be handled by anyone.

Her only vices are she is reluctant with picking up her back feet, my experienced farrier can trim her and we are working on this daily as seen in video she is now picking them up but reluctant to hold them up. She can be a bit shy to be caught since arriving she’s not taken me more than 10 minutes to catch and she’s in a huge field without a headcollar left on and i haven’t been using treats, again this is improving daily. She hasn’t done an awful lot of loading on collection it took us 5 minutes and a lunge line clipped to the side so she couldn’t veer off but as you can see in the video she’s now walking in no issue and is great to travel. Her passport is estimated at 12 (now 13) however upon purchase i had two vets inspect her teeth (and she had them rasped) and they both agreed this was the correct age. This is all reflected in her price without these “vices” she’d be worth alot more so an excellent opportunity to get a cracking all round pony on a budget.

She’s up to date with everything back, teeth, feet, vaccinations etc.

Beautiful 12.2hh Liver Chestnut Mare – 5 Years Old

A lovely 5-year-old, 12.2hh liver chestnut mare looking for her next little rider to enjoy and love.

She is a quiet, laid-back pony who is very quick to learn and takes everything in her stride. She has a genuine willing attitude and really wants to please, making her a pleasure to work with.

She is handled daily by children and has been ridden solely by a 9-year-old, proving herself to be kind, sensible, and reliable. She hacks both alone and in company, and is great in open spaces with no fizz — my daughter regularly hacks her out on her own with confidence.

She loads and travels well and has been out to a couple of shows where she has behaved foot perfect every time. She has also attended BD training camp, where she settled in straight away and behaved impeccably throughout.

She has no vices, is easy to bath and plait, and will happily pop a fence, although this is not something we have pushed as my daughter’s interest is not in jumping.

She is happy to turn out alone or in a mixed herd and is equally content to live in or out.

Peraidd Braveheart (Tom)

Tom is a lovely, versatile pony who we feel would be much better suited to a private home than the busy riding school environment.

He has done lots of lead rein work and is safe and sensible on the lead. He is used to loud noises, busy environments and wobbly or inexperienced children.

Tom has also done lots of work off the lead and, before coming to us, attended a few local shows. He has a great jump and is a really adaptable ride. He can adjust himself to suit his rider, whether they want a lead rein, first ridden or want to ask a little more of him and have him step up a gear.

Unfortunately, Tom has shown us that he doesn’t particularly enjoy the riding school environment. Over time, he has become nippy, which is not something we can have in a riding school where we have young children handling horses unattended. Before coming to us, this was never a problem so we know he is not happy in our setup.

We therefore feel that Tom would be much happier in a private home, where he can have more individual attention and a lifestyle better suited to him.

Tom has so many lovely qualities and we would really like to find him a home where he can thrive and continue to develop as he is still only 7.

Little kiddy pro and doesn’t bat an eye at anything. Never not placed locally and looks amazing.

Trains / planes / helicopters / dogs / bikes / farm traffic / cows / cars etc, we have them all and he is perfectly happy to keep his usual calm manor.

Chester Hacks / jumps / shows all no bother at all. Nothing has phased him and you can trust your little one will be safe on him. Lovely floaty paces.

Can lead him out in a group or take him solo.

He is really unflappable and you can rest easy when your little one is learning.

Chester is hacked and schooled by our 7 year old off lead but he can get occasionally be keen when the gears go up off lead over a set of jumps. For this reason he isn’t being advised as a true FYFR. For a slightly bigger more established child, he would be a very classy allrounder.

He lives out with shelter and stables of a winter.

We would love to see him in a family with multiple young kiddies that he can have a long life with.

We have owned Whisper for 18 months and in that time she has been the most amazing pony for my son.

She is a fantastic 1st year first ridden, bought her to take James off the rein. She has done young handler, jumping, clinics, Hacking over the gowe common alongside the driving pony and Also goes well on lead rein. In her previous home she has also been on beach rides.

She has been worth her weight in gold to us as a family as she has bought my nervous son off of the lead to now popping small jumps and riding in open spaces. She now needs to go on and teach her next little jockey.

Bobby was bought to introduce our family into showing county level - too many wins and championships to mention - and he has done just that. Ollie took my tiny daughter safely round the busiest county shows as a first ridden, she has continued to ride him successfully through Juniors and Opens.

He has numerous wins, Championships and Supremes, too many to mention. Quite simply, he is an absolute rosette machine. He has been lightly campaigned but very well placed in HOYS, RI and London qualifiers.

He is a fantastic all-rounder who loves Working Hunter, hunting and Pony Club activities. He has hunted happily alongside the big horses and keeps up with them all day.

He has also taken part in all aspects of Pony Club life and is the sort of pony who will turn his hoof to anything.

We also took Othello to an SPGN trials day, where he carried a novice jockey around and didn’t bat an eyelid. Unfortunately, we were too busy to continue with the racing, but we have no doubt he would absolutely love it.

He would be wonderful for anyone wanting to campaign in LIHS WSP Lead Rein and First Ridden, Cradle Stakes, and is also eligible for VHS HOYS classes.

He is low maintenance and easy to keep, happily living in or out, and is completely up to date with everything.

He is such a super, fun little pony with a huge personality. After eight wonderful years with us, he now deserves to find another small person to make memories with and have as much fun with as we have.

Cadlanvalley Enchantress

A real life Barbie unicorn, bought as a 3 year old from the wpcs sale, my daughter had seen her on Facebook entered and said I want this one, she was broken in all by my then 8 year old little girl, she has just had the most fun on her.

She does absolutely everything on her, we live on a busy working farm and she is used to the hustle and bustle of farm life. She’s ridden through large open spaces daily, never being strong or silly. Stolen by my six year old little girl to ride out and most recently taken to a show and went supreme of show with a tiny tot FYFR jockey. She had so many winnings from shows over the last couple of years in the first riddens, young handlers and m and m classes . She is a real head turner.

Princess is a pleasure to have around lives in or out and is stabled with us at night. She is solely done by the children tacking her up, riding, bathing, rugging, brushing, loading. I really don’t do anything. She is the sweetest little mare and just aims to please in everything we do.

Regularly taken down to the river with her friends, hacks out alone or in company, loves jumping. Unfortunately she is hopelessly outgrown and is looking for a new little girl to love her and give her cuddles. If we could keep them all we would never sell her. But my grumpy farming husband says no more and daisy needs the funds for a bigger pony to take her gangly legs.

Daisy has shown her in a few HOYS qualifiers this year even with her long legs and been placed.

She takes to the busiest buzziest shows like a seasoned pro. I’m in the lead rein class before with my other little girl and happily leave her outside on princess knowing they will be safe.

✨ Chime – Welsh Section A Mare | Approx. 11.2hh ✨

Affectionately known as Chime, this lovely young Welsh Section A mare is looking for a confident, experienced home where she can continue to learn, gain confidence and reach her full potential.

Chime has been used as a lead-rein pony for my 4-year-old daughter and has also attended pony games and pony camp with a 6-year-old rider. She is a pony who really benefits from having a confident child who believes in her. My 4-year-old is very confident and has had no problems with her.

One of Chime’s biggest strengths is how well she copes with new environments and experiences. She loads and travels well and takes new places in her stride. At camp, she was completely unfazed by a new stable, flapping gazebos, tents and all the general activity that comes with camp life. She would really thrive in a Pony Club-style home where she can get out, see the world and continue experiencing new things.

Chime is very much a character and a mare with her own opinions! She isn’t naturally an overly affectionate pony, but she will stand to be groomed, fussed over and covered in glitter. She is also very much part of family life here and will happily hang out in the garden while the children are playing in the paddling pool, taking everything going on around her in her stride.

She can pull faces when she has had enough and has bitten handlers when her boundaries have been pushed. She is, however, very clear in her communication and gives warning. She needs people who are confident enough to understand her body language and respect her boundaries.

Ridden, she is good on the lead rein and will have the occasional small spook. These are nothing dramatic and are small enough for a confident child to sit to. At camp she had a session with a complete beginner rider, aged 8, when she spooked. She simply carried on with what she was doing and the rider was completely unfazed.

Another lovely quality is that Chime doesn’t hold onto a fright. If something does worry her, she is happy to carry on and revisit the same place without making an issue of it. This gives her a lot of potential as she gains experience and confidence.

She is still a young mare who needs further education, consistency and guidance, but I feel she has plenty of potential for someone prepared to put the time into building a partnership with her.

On the ground, Chime can be a little bit of a diva when it comes to catching! She is very much a pony who wants to build a bond with her person and, in my opinion, would absolutely thrive in a one-owner home where she can develop that special relationship with someone who understands her.

She is straightforward to keep and is happy to be stabled on her own or alongside others in a barn. She is equally happy turned out alone or in a group and is best suited to turn out with geldings.

Chime isn’t going to suit everyone, and I am looking for a confident, experienced child with knowledgeable parents or an experienced home. She needs someone who will appreciate her character, understand her signals and give her the consistency and confidence she needs.

I genuinely feel she could be a fabulous little Pony Club pony for the right person, with plenty of scope to develop her education and experience over the coming years.

A young mare with bags of character, a great attitude to new adventures and huge potential for the right partnership. ❤️

Dolly was our daughter’s first pony and has taken her from never riding and being on the lead rein, to cantering through the woods on her own. My daughter is a nervous rider and Dolly has definitely given her confidence and they often ride down the road bareback with just a head collar on now!

She is quiet in traffic and we hack down busy roads and through villages with no issues.

Dolly will happily stay next to a push bike (on or off the lead if asked) which we found really helpful as we could cover miles at a decent speed!

We did some pony club lessons to help teach my daughter how to ride but we haven’t been for well over 12 months as we prefer hunting, pub rides, picnic rides and exploring! My daughter isn’t a fan of jumping but will pop over a log if there’s one in the woods. Dolly did quite a bit of jumping in her previous home though, especially out hunting!

Dolly has hunted with us and we have been to several of the Christmas meets which have been in a town centre and Dolly has behaved impeccably despite the huge number of people and horses.

We’ve been to shows with Dolly and she has been happy doing her classes and then being tied up at the trailer for the rest of the day!

She is really nice on the ground and is good to clip, bath, load, farrier and my daughter handles her for everything.

We often have friends smaller children over and they ride her on and off the lead rein so she’s still used to tiny wobbly children learning the ropes!

She adjusts to the rider and will step it up if asked but will also happily plod along the road with a wobbly child on board! Her previous owner loved whizzing around but my daughter prefers a slower pace and she’s never bucked, bolted or reared with us (which is super important to us as I don’t think my daughter would ride again if she got bolted with or bucked off)

Beautifully Bred 6-Year-Old Mare

A beautifully bred 6-year-old mare whose dam is an RWAS Winter Fair Winner, sharing the same breeding lines as Glebedale Austin Powers, with both Glebedale and Thisledown bloodlines.

She is a straight-moving mare who has mainly been used as a lead rein pony for my nervous daughter. We've also successfully shown her locally both in-hand as an M and M LR and plaited as an SHP, with my daughter also doing Young Handler classes. She is straight moving and has no lumps or bumps. Always comes home with a rosette and is a pleasure to take to shows, happily standing on the trailer all day on her own.

She is a kind, mannerly pony who is easy to catch, trim feet and handle. She is equally happy living in or out, and children can groom and fuss her with ease. She is sensible enough for little tots to ride as has a lovely temperament. Has also attended Pony Club.

Last summer she spent some time at a riding school to further her education, she happily jumped courses up to 70cm and quickly became a firm favourite. She is currently being ridden by a small adult to keep her ticking over, as my daughter has sadly lost interest.

A genuine, versatile mare with excellent breeding, a lovely kind temperament, and a great future ahead. She would benefit from a home who can continue her education as she would make a PC pony or continue in the show ring (she has HOYS potential) as either a SHP or M and M. Equally with such great breeding would be an asset as a broodmare.

7 very happy years with Lilly. Now sadly outgrown, she needs another little person to ride her , compete her , spoil her and give her lots of attention. My daughter was 16 months old when we bought her, started on the lead rein and was cantering and jumping her first cross pole by the time she was 2.5 years old, by 4 she was off the lead rein and learning how to get about by herself on Lilly. They’ve done showjumping, mounted games, horse agility, showing, fun rides, hacking ( Lilly is perfect in traffic ), handy pony, xc, fancy dress and beach rides. She can be ridden about in a headcollar bareback. She’ll look after your child.

She’ll stand all day to be bathed , brushed , clipped, etc.

Lilly loves going to shows etc . My daughter has over 70 rosettes and trophies that she has collected with her! She’s very easy, kept at home here , turned out with mares and a gelding.
