Barnaby is a talented and versatile all-round pony with an exceptional work ethic. Over the past three years, he has proven to be a consistent and rewarding partner, progressing alongside his current rider from jumping 60cm to competing confidently at 100cm, with scope for 110cm and beyond. He demonstrates clear athletic ability and a genuine desire to please.
Barnaby is a bold, forward-thinking pony who thrives in a jumping environment. He is incredibly willing but requires a confident, competent rider who can provide a consistent leg and clear direction. When established in a focused partnership, he is a dream ride with the potential to excel significantly in the showjumping or eventing circuits.
Barnaby is a natural in the hunting field. Last season, he proved himself to be a brave and reliable hunter, tackling every fence without hesitation. He is easy to hack alone or in company, remaining sensible and well-mannered. He enjoys his work and is fun to take out and about.
On the ground, Barnaby is a complete gentleman. He possesses a lovely personality, excellent manners, and is a favorite on the yard. He is accustomed to people of all ages and is a kind, easy-to-manage pony in every way.
He is up-to-date with vaccinations, teeth, and worming.
He is excellent to load, travel, and shoe etc.
He is currently registered with British Showjumping, though he has relatively low mileage on his record, leaving plenty of room for a new owner to produce.
This is a very reluctant sale of a much-loved pony. Barnaby is only available as his current rider has grown too big and is now moving on to horses.
