Extremely sad sale of our fantastic 128 (LHC 126.40 cm). I bought Jack to run alongside my daughter’s other 128 for her last year on 12.2s but she has had a growth spurt and is moving onto a 148 a bit earlier than expected.

Jack has got a great BS record both with his previous owners and with us (though he has had limited outings as my daughter has concentrated more on her other ponies). Having been out of work in his last home we have brought him back into competition and Izzy has had lots of success at BS 70-85cm with him. He is currently successfully jumping 95cm unaffiliated tracks to prepare him for the BS 90s and is schooling round 1m+ tracks at home with lots of scope. Jack has been training with Morgan Kent each week and with Joe Whitaker on a monthly basis. He jumps all fillers/water trays/skinnies etc without hesitation and is never spooky. He is very careful and rarely has a pole. Jack would suit as a starter BS pony (Stepping Stones etc) or for a more experienced child/home to produce for the bigger tracks

Jack is not your typical quirky show jumper. He can do everything! He is a calm, bombproof hack – good with all traffic, animals and farm machinery and safe in open spaces. He has been used to nanny young and nervous horses and would be an amazing hunter as he never tires and covers the ground well. Jack also loves cross-country and is fearless. He has won several hunter trials in his last home and we recently took him to Camp Hill where he came 2nd of a field of 40 – clear and very close to optimum! He has schooled with ease over the BE 80 and 90 fences at Northallerton and goes straight into water. He is an amazing little event pony.

Jack has also participated in all pony club activities including rallies, show jump training, dressage and musical rides with York and Ainsty North (refs available if required). He stands calmly waiting his turn and isn’t phased by any bad behaviour around him. Jack would also do well in the show ring - he is a registered Welsh section C and is beautifully built and super smart – turning heads wherever he goes. He is well schooled and could excel as a working hunter pony at the highest levels.

Beyond all of this Jack is a dream to own. No vices. Easy to do in all ways and can be handled entirely by a child – loads easily, lives out or in (has lived out all Winter with us), is a good doer, never sick or sorry, stands like a rock to be clipped, barefoot but good with the farrier/dentist/vet. Up to date with vaccs, worming, physio. Great at shows – warms up nicely even in a busy collecting ring and stands quietly at the box. Never bolts or rears. He is also extremely affectionate and loves to be cuddled and fussed – you can ride him bareback in a head coller. A true child’s best friend.

Jack’s only negative is that on sunny days in a big field with lots of grass and mares in season (!) he can do a couple of laps before he will be caught. This has only happened twice in the time we have had him.

Jack is a chunky pony with a ‘busy’ canter. He likes to get on with whatever job he is doing. Our pony club instructor describes him as ‘nicely forward without being silly’. For this reason he is not a tiny tots pony but one suitable for a 10 years and over confident and competent child.

Videos of all the above activities including BS classes and jumping a 1m course at home (including my daughter making a mess of things and Jack jumping anyway) are available on You Tube (search Rynys Black Jack).
There are tons of photos available at https://photos.app.goo.gl/8Kh16UCJedy7EErH2

The best of homes only for this amazing little chap. He is a real quality pony and has so much to give - we are devastated to part with him. Previous owners (had him from 3 years old) would like to stay in touch please.

Please email abbyjo2004@yahoo.co.uk in the first instance as I am not always able to answer my phone.

Price includes bridle, some rugs and his stable door name plate (!)

WANTED! 148cm Jumping Pony

WANTED! 148cm Jumping Pony

Fabulous home in South East

Ref #: 192408

  • Long term home for perfect pony
  • Horses kept at private yard at home with superb facilities
  • Jockey has very regular lessons with BS Academy Coach

We are looking for a 146-148cm pony for my son to move onto this summer. He currently has 2 138 ponies but one of them is getting a little small for him so he will hand the ride on to his little sister.

No rush and happy to wait until after Nationals for right pony but would be useful to use July to locate and try and maybe do a deal on the right one.

Currently jumping 90-1m tracks on 138’s and looking to have a 148 he can jump Silver League Classes on. He will also do lots of NSEA classes (JwS,Arena Eventing & SJ) - it will have a varied and happy life with us and could be here up to 6 years.

Open to ponies from with Showjumping records JD / JC but not too many points. Happy to consider talented and honest ponies from a different background such as Working hunter or eventing.

He is a competent, brave jockey, 5’2, medium build and rising 13yrs - competitive and see’s a stride most of the time!

We DON’T want a pony that you have to be on a perfect stride every single time must have a reasonably forgiving and genuine nature and want to help out its jockey. Would rather it had a pole than a stop. Nothing spooky, nappy or a rearer. Nothing horribly strong that he has to battle with.

Gelding preferred but would consider a mare. Age range from 6yrs to around 15yrs tops. Needs to be at least 146cm as his Dad is a big chap and that growth spurt will come so I don’t want a little 148! If it is unregistered then we must be sure it will measure in OK.

Healthy budget for right pony, will travel but obviously closer to the South East is a bonus!

  • Must be capable of jumping up to 120cm tracks given time in new partnership
  • Not too many points so we have plenty of class options
  • Could have come from Eventing or Workers background

In Tinker's first year of jumping he has amazed us by qualifying for and being placed at Bluechip Championships 2018, and qualified 2 classes at nationals this year and also a class at scope! He has been in the academy teams the last two years.

Tinker is a Welsh B bay gelding, he has just turned 7 and has a measurement of 132.5cm. His BS name is Beacon Little Tinker and BS number is 420025. He has 213 points so still is in Discovery.

Tinker is a super pony who loves beach rides and hacking as well as jumping, since we brought him as a youngster he has turned his hand to everything we have asked of him.

He has a fantastic BS record and has a lot of scope to go further and is now ready to start jumping Graham Heaths .
.
Tinker is a very brave pony, he only ever touches a fence through rider error and over ambitious jump offs. He is not a stopper, and Tinker is a pony that the best is still yet to come, he has all of the ability to jump as a top track pony and so all he lacks is mileage.

However Tinker is not a novice ride as he is still a young pony, he can be barefoot but we have front shoes on him this summer so we can hack.

He is fit, ready and waiting for a new rider.

He hacks out alone, travels alone, has been to many stay shows.

Everything up to date, teeth, flu, worm, back etc.

5 star home only for this super pony, and we would love to follow his progress.

Sad sale as we love this pony but is sadly now outgrown.

Nemo is a much loved pony and this is a very reluctant sale but we have no jockey (rider now in last year of 148s).

He has been on loan over the past year but he needs a long term home where he has a chance to develop a relationship with his rider.

Nemo excels in the silver league classes and will help an inexperienced jockey - he will take the right rider from Stepping Stones to Graham Heath and more.

He is a great all round pony who will do pony club and eventing and is so much fun to hack. Easy for young jockeys to look after and a very affectionate and loving pony who still has a huge amount to offer.

We are very attached to him and only the best home will do for this very special pony. We will not be loaning him again and no LWVTB.

No texts please. Video will be uploaded shortly.

LOAN WITH A VIEW TO BUY

We have decided to loan with a view to buy so you can realise how scopey she is. Her BS record does have some 4 faults due to jockey being far too top heavy (5foot8), no fault of the pony, with the right height jockey this pony will go far, therefore to prove this we will do a loan with a view to buy but NOT PURE LOAN, she must be sold, to be replaced by a horse!

Millie is a very talented 7yo mare with plenty of scope and has the potential to be a big track pony.

Has competed up to fox hunter as a 6yo but sadly the rider has gotten far to big too quickly on her so hasn't been able to bring out her full potential. Jumped 1.45m as a 5yo and went double clear in her first fox hunter as a 6yo.

Has schooled around a BE 100/Novice fences when she was just 5yo! The rider is meant to have 2 years left on this amazing pony however due to her size (5 foot 8 and very long legs!!) it is not fair to limit this amazing ponies future as she's too big on millie to jump the bigger tracks. Not a novice ride as she is a true forward talented competition pony .

Forward going ride with a big powerful jump, not spooky or silly jumps all fillers water tray etc.

Millie is not mare-ish to handle and is very easy to clip, load in both lorry and trailer, shoe, tack up. She gets on in the field with both mares and geldings. Can live in and out and has been to many away shows, and is very chilled.

She comes with all types of rugs (stable, different weight field rugs (5)), bridle, jumping boot,

Currently located at a professional yard, with 11 year old jockey in Hampshire to be sold, as we do not have the correct facilities at home to show her off to her full potential, and 5"8 jockey too tall!!

  • She won the SDHE PC puissance Wall jumping 1.40m aged 6
  • Double clear in her fox hunter age 5
  • Won and been placed many times at BS discovery and newcomers.
  • Been individual and team placing at numerous NSEA show jumping 90/1m
  • Team 4th in the inter academy show at Addington as a team and individual 11th in the 1.05m age 6
  • Age 5 came 1st/70+ in the accumulator at the Spring Surrey Show.

Smart 128 with JMB life certificate age 10 years old grey gelding, bred in Ireland.  Jumping clears round 80 and 90cm, Springboards and Stepping Stones / Cats and Pipes.  Truly believe the best is yet to come with a bit more mileage this pony will go on to jump bigger heights.  He will be an exciting 128 in the future.

Sadly, current jockey is running out of time and we would love to find somebody who is wanting a genuine pony to jump Tiny Tots and Stepping Stones.  Has jumped double clears in Graham Heaths at Wales Home Pony 2017 and jumped a few winters first rounds last year with 4 faults which is 1 meter.

Qualified easily for the Springboard Final and also qualified this year to jump the bn second round.  Also jumping the Mini Majors Olympia qualifier.  Always qualify Cats and Pipes and Stepping Stones but rider has too many points.

This pony does not bite or kick and hacks with company and loves being in the field, perfect to clip, good with the blacksmith and travel on the lorry. Also, very handsome so would make a top WHP.   Never been ridden by an adult always by a child.  Also attended Pony Club rallies.

Serious enquiries please.

We have put a lot of time into producing this pony and the best is to come.

Genuine enquiries please.

  • Edward has only been to 4 shows this year placing top two each time

  • Would also make an amazing 128cm show jumping pony

We bought Edward as a 3 year old to break and keep for a year but we have never been able to part with him. He has been brought on very slowly as he was quite immature as a 4/5 year old. He missed out on going to shows as we only have two spaces in the lorry so prior to this year only went anywhere if we were resting one of the others. His jockey is also away at Uni so he has just not been used enough.

He is probably the most talented jumping pony we have ever owned, he is elastic over a fence and hates to touch poles. He free jumps 1m20 for fun so height will never be an issue for him. Too close or too far away from the fence is no problem he will just rotate himself over it and carry on.

He is a very affectionate pony, thrives on kisses and cuddles but he is less sensible than our other worker of the same age. He will check out what's changed in the corners of the arena each time he goes in. Not spooking but just having a look. He is well schooled and is just starting lateral work, he loves cross country, has been pony racing with a 10 year old (he won) as well as pleasure rides for hours over the moors. He moves beautifully and has a fantastic gallop, coming back to canter easily.

Edward is great to prep for a show, good to clip (I twitch for his face and underbelly) loads and travels like a dream. Stands all day happily at a show and stayed away at Equifest as a four year old like a star. This was only his third show and he wasn't out of the top ten in any of his classes, winning one.

He's good to shoe, have teeth done and injections. He comes to call from the field and happily lives in or out. He wintered out from October to March as his jockey was away at Uni and didn't really start work until just before his first show in May. He is always enthusiastic about anything asked of him, he needs a quiet, confident little jockey to take him far. He will be a wonderful nursery stakes pony but will have no issue jumping open 133 tracks. If we don't find the perfect home we will use him for the 133 M&M HOYS qualifiers next year. Edward is not a beginners pony, he needs a jockey who has had a season or two jumping cradle or novice classes as he has a big jump. He introduced a little 10 year old girl to showing last year, he was 2nd in the M&M First Ridden and won the Nursery Stakes.

Edward is never ever sick or sorry, he has two tiny splints on his front legs which cant actually be seen. He has never seen the vet for anything other than routine injections.

This is a very difficult decision so please no time wasters, the perfect long-term home is required. He is available after Equifest.

We have good trial facilities in North Yorkshire or he can be tried at Equifest in Peterborough. Lots of photos and videos on request.

This pony is the perfect pony club allrounder!  He is just gorgeous in every way! forward going, safe, fun!!! the sort of horse that makes you smile when you ride him!

He hunted last season and had a great time, he’s currently. Jumping 80/90cm at home and ready to be out competing again!

He has done all unaffiallted SJ and ODE, local shows, PC activities pleasure rides etc.

Mickey has given Millie 3 fantastic years of riding and taught her so much along the way. We are sure we will never find another pony like this fantastic safe all round super star! But due to exams looming he just isn’t having the time spent on him that he should have!

100% vet farrier shoe clip load etc and up to date with all worming, teeth, back and vaccinations.

Hacks out alone and in company.

Mickey has a slight hay fever allergy so can cough when the pollen count is high, he has been scoped and examined by our vets and there is nothing more detrimental to it than that.

5* home only for this fun loving family pony!

Loads of videos on request, rck and rugs by separate negotiation.

Rivervalley Rob Roy 122cm (AHC) Welsh Section C.

We bought Rob in late 2016, he had been broken in and lightly used to that point. He took to jumping like a duck to water and has never looked back.

This little pony is a pleasure to own, he has been very slowly brought on due to his jockey being away at uni most of the time, going to only a handful of shows each year. He moves like a dream and jumps reliable, consistent clears pretty much everytime out, never stops and has only had the odd pole in complex offset trebles/ 90-degree doubles due to inexperience last year.

We have had so much fun with this pony, he's been cross country schooling, beach riding, pleasure hacking and showing. He even filled in on a pony club games team practice when they were short of a pony. Nothing worries him, he jumps in and out of water, hedges, barrels, water trays and anything thrown at him in demanding HOYS tracks such as the Highland where he got the highest jump mark of the class. He is rhythmical and balanced between fences and happy to get the jockey out of trouble if needed.

Rob is a chilled character and would never bolt, rear, buck or hurt anyone, saying that he isn't a first year first ridden as he has a truly powerful jump which could unseat a jockey just learning.

Gelded at 5 he has retained his stallion looks and mischief, he is beautifully mannered around mares and geldings but will rearrange his water bucket, food bowl, and rugs given the chance. He travels and loads like a dream, stands in the lorry all day and stays away like a pro. Perfect to clip, catch, shoe, inject and with the dentist. He works in quickly at a show, in fact, you could walk him down the ramp and into the ring. He was turned away from October last year to March this year as his jockey was at Uni and came back in as well schooled as when he went out. It makes no difference if he is ridden daily or weekly he is always fabulous.

This little boy needs a perfect long-term home if we can't find that we will happily keep him and use him next year so absolutely no time wasters, please. Available at the end of the season.

Billy, Arab X gelding.

When I bought Billy, I thought I'd bought a pony that would be perfect for me to learn to ride again and my daughter to learn on as a lead rein pony, it happens that he is actually a 2nd pony with a lot of potential to compete.

He is a stunning horse and would make a good show pony, he loves to jump, hack and school.

Billy is a truly lovely boy, he is great with the farrier, with the dentist, to catch and groom and loads a dream. He is currently stabled in the day and out at night but was out 24/7 in his previous home.

Hacks alone or in company is isn't spooky at all.

His next home is really important to me, he needs another horse for company and child looking to move to their next horse, teenager or small adult to do all the things with him he loves to do.

This fantastic pony has it all and more! He has the looks, the talent and most importantly such a genuine and willing attitude to everything asked of him, he has proven to be successful in all spheres and has shown the ability and potential to move up through the grades!

Albert is a 14.2hh 8yr old cremello Connemara gelding, beautifully conformed, super feet, clean legs, light on his feet and the perfect stamp/type to excel as a quality allrounder/event pony.

This super chap has been there and done it all! From pony club to riding club, unaffiliated dressage, showjumping,Hunter trials, combine training, unaffiliated eventing at 90/1m and affiliated eventing at be90. He is extremely versatile, with his super brave and careful jump, three lovely paces and great brain he is sure to make any child/small adult very happy and put a smile on their face!

Albert really enjoys his jumping and as the video shows he really has lots of ability in this sphere and defiantly has the ‘WOW’ factor! Easily schooling at BE100/BE novice level even jumping the odd intermediate fence with ease! Has the potential to go on and do U18’s or FEI! A straightforward and easy ride to a fence, doesn’t get whizzy or silly, doesn’t get strong and always ridden in a snaffle. Happy jumping ditches, water, steps, great with big bold fences and great with skinnies and accuracy questions. Brilliant with horses whizzing around, never sharp more of a pony who is to kick than pull. Placed 4th at his first affiliated 90 with a super dressage of 32 and a double clear inside the time making him a great grassroots potential!

Three lovely paces and lots more potential to go on and excel on the flat, currently scoring low 30’s but with further training will easily be able to do 20’s tests, physically easy to ride making it easy to produce an accurate and consistent test. Works in a correct consistent outline in all three gaits, is light in the hand and responsive from the aids without being sharp.

Hacks alone and in company, great in open spaces, great in all traffic however big or noisy. Doesn’t need daily riding to keep him sane, happy to be ridden once a week or once a month. Has been hacked by granny proving sane and sensible. Is also happy living in on limited turnout doesn’t get fresh and is happy as long as he’s fed, super away from home away at shows just gets on with his job.

An absolute saint to look after super manners both in and out of the stable. Always has is ears forward, can be handled by anyone, great to box(trailer/lorry), shoe, clip, wash and catch. Will go out alone or with mares/geldings. Even shares his dinner with the dog! Ponies like him don’t come around often he literally is one in a million, talented yet quiet and wouldn’t be offended whoever bounced around on his back or whoever got the wrong stride to a fence, would be extremely competitive at grassroots yet has the talent to go on and do the bigger tracks with a competitive adult/child.

Please see his video of him doing all activities https://youtu.be/0BxQUad9wmc

Riz is a multi talented, easy to do, once in a lifetime find. We purchased Riz just 4 months ago, from a loving family who had owned him for the past 12 years; from him being a 3 year old. It took us 7 months to find this impressive, perfect horse for our family, but sadly, our circumstances have changed, and after only 4 months of owning him, he is so very sadly back up for sale. He has been an absolute gentleman in his time with us, hacked out with other horses, been on fun rides, competed at unaffiliated dressage and even in his first week with us, competed unaffiliated show jumping with my 11 year old daughter. Riz and my youngest daughter have been to numerous SJ competitions in this short time, and always come back in the ribbons, with many 1st's under their belts! He has given her with so much confidence, jumping 1m10 at home, and in lessons, with ease!

He would suit a child or adult, but as he is so talented, it would be a shame to not utilise this, so we are looking for a home where he can do plenty of everything. He would probably most suit a pony club or show jumping home, as nothing is to much of an ask for him. He has competed BSJA under the name of Colour Action, and he has competed in pony club Teams for SJ, he has done top level showing, county working hunter, eventing, dressage, ODE, XC trials, hunting and even side saddle at equifest in his previous home, taking his mount from a young 7 year old young girl to a 19 year old.

Not only is Riz a hugely talented, bold and brave, easy to do, happy and affectionate pony, but he is also impeccably behaved, so can be tacked up, bathed and rugged up etc by my 11 year old. Riz is also an incredibly smart pony who regularly attracts admirers, with his eye catching looks and delightful attitude to his work. He has an annual height certificate for 14.2hh, but is definitely a full up version!

He is an armchair ride, even for a smaller rider, and has three easy moving paces, with an athletic, scopey, careful jump. He would suit either a more novice or younger rider who wants to go around an 85cm course, or equally a more experienced rider could jump him around of 1m15/20 course. Don't be put off by his age, he is as safe as houses but is also great against the clock! He has so much to offer and expects little in return. He is also the type who can be ridden every day, or left in a field for a couple of weeks, he goes just the same whatever.

We are looking for a 5* home for this gorgeous boy, where he can have all the love and care he deserves.

For more details or more photos, video clips etc, please call Jules on 07887 846478.

This little guy is the light of my daughters life, been together since they were two years old they have been there and done it all. Unfortunately, she has inherited super long legs and at almost 10 she has outgrown this little superstar.
They have done it all together but his true forte lies in

Show jumping -(jumps 70's all day long with riders as young as 5 happily babysitting them over the jumps. 80's + with a competent rider)

Cross country / hunting- amazing and is his true forte as he has speed and talent. Will jump consistently higher cross country than SJ. Has hunted all season with adults (no other children). Hunter trials every season for last 4 years. And moved up to novice level last yr.

Pony Club games. A super star- enough said.

My daughter is broken heartedown at the sale as we have had him since he was 2yr old but unfortunately her siblings all have their own "special" ponies and so Echo must find a new loving home where we can keep in contact with his new little owner.

Echo appears as a blood pony but is a sweet natured pet who is ridden regularly by my other two children 4 &6 yr olds easily. He is not flighty but can turn on the speed when requested by a more competent rider. Otherwise he is happy to be schooled in all paces and jumped by younger children.

Simon is a fantastic and fun forward going pony who we have had the pleasure of owning for just over a year.

Since we have owned him, he has taken part in all PC activities including XC and SJ at 90cms (he loves his jumping), dressage working beautifully in an outline, competing at Hickstead in the 80cms a few weeks after we purchased him...he jumps water, ditches, brushes...anything you point him at

Also taken part in PC Tetrathlon. Jumps 1.20m at home but competes at 90cms being very quick against the clock.

Being a Hackney x Welsh, he moves beautifully with high leg movement and lots of presence

He has competed at open MGA in his previous two homes running for the vault, he has amazing turns and stops perfectly.

He takes all changeovers and nothing phases him. He has also hunted in his previous home and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Snaffle mouthed, never reared, bucked or bolted...not strong and responsive to the leg. At camp and clinic, he was the smallest pony in the group but always the one asked to take the big boys over the fences if they were unsure

Currently lives out, great with farrier, teeth, vet and to bathe and clip. Up to date with teeth and vaccinations and excellent to catch

We would like him to go to a competitive home where he can continue in all disciplines. Would suit a competitive child coming off a 13hh ish who wants to move up in their PC activities...

Plenty of videos of him jumping, hunting and games...

Very sad sale of our little dude but he is very sadly outgrown
