A very attractive pony. JA showjumper.

Good to handle in the stable, easy to catch. Good with farrier.

Would suit an experienced small rider not a novice ride. Brought for my 9 year old son to compete and she has taught him a lot about showjumping.

In the year we have had her she has won many unaffiliated competitions, qualified GB Rider finals for the summer and winter leagues, had double clears at pony of the year show 2018.

Good BSJA record up to 90cm.

Good breeding. British riding pony.

Does not look her age.

We are looking for a 146-148cm pony for my son to move onto this summer. He currently has 2 138 ponies but one of them is getting a little small for him so he will hand the ride on to his little sister.

No rush and happy to wait until after Nationals for right pony but would be useful to use July to locate and try and maybe do a deal on the right one.

Currently jumping 90-1m tracks on 138’s and looking to have a 148 he can jump Silver League Classes on. He will also do lots of NSEA classes (JwS,Arena Eventing & SJ) - it will have a varied and happy life with us and could be here up to 6 years.

Open to ponies from with Showjumping records JD / JC but not too many points. Happy to consider talented and honest ponies from a different background such as Working hunter or eventing.

He is a competent, brave jockey, 5’2, medium build and rising 13yrs - competitive and see’s a stride most of the time!

We DON’T want a pony that you have to be on a perfect stride every single time must have a reasonably forgiving and genuine nature and want to help out its jockey. Would rather it had a pole than a stop. Nothing spooky, nappy or a rearer. Nothing horribly strong that he has to battle with.

Gelding preferred but would consider a mare. Age range from 6yrs to around 15yrs tops. Needs to be at least 146cm as his Dad is a big chap and that growth spurt will come so I don’t want a little 148! If it is unregistered then we must be sure it will measure in OK.

Healthy budget for right pony, will travel but obviously closer to the South East is a bonus!

  • Must be capable of jumping up to 120cm tracks given time in new partnership
  • Not too many points so we have plenty of class options
  • Could have come from Eventing or Workers background

LOAN WITH A VIEW TO BUY

We have decided to loan with a view to buy so you can realise how scopey she is. Her BS record does have some 4 faults due to jockey being far too top heavy (5foot8), no fault of the pony, with the right height jockey this pony will go far, therefore to prove this we will do a loan with a view to buy but NOT PURE LOAN, she must be sold, to be replaced by a horse!

Millie is a very talented 7yo mare with plenty of scope and has the potential to be a big track pony.

Has competed up to fox hunter as a 6yo but sadly the rider has gotten far to big too quickly on her so hasn't been able to bring out her full potential. Jumped 1.45m as a 5yo and went double clear in her first fox hunter as a 6yo.

Has schooled around a BE 100/Novice fences when she was just 5yo! The rider is meant to have 2 years left on this amazing pony however due to her size (5 foot 8 and very long legs!!) it is not fair to limit this amazing ponies future as she's too big on millie to jump the bigger tracks. Not a novice ride as she is a true forward talented competition pony .

Forward going ride with a big powerful jump, not spooky or silly jumps all fillers water tray etc.

Millie is not mare-ish to handle and is very easy to clip, load in both lorry and trailer, shoe, tack up. She gets on in the field with both mares and geldings. Can live in and out and has been to many away shows, and is very chilled.

She comes with all types of rugs (stable, different weight field rugs (5)), bridle, jumping boot,

Currently located at a professional yard, with 11 year old jockey in Hampshire to be sold, as we do not have the correct facilities at home to show her off to her full potential, and 5"8 jockey too tall!!

  • She won the SDHE PC puissance Wall jumping 1.40m aged 6
  • Double clear in her fox hunter age 5
  • Won and been placed many times at BS discovery and newcomers.
  • Been individual and team placing at numerous NSEA show jumping 90/1m
  • Team 4th in the inter academy show at Addington as a team and individual 11th in the 1.05m age 6
  • Age 5 came 1st/70+ in the accumulator at the Spring Surrey Show.

Extremely sad sale of our fantastic 128 (LHC 126.40 cm). I bought Jack to run alongside my daughter’s other 128 for her last year on 12.2s but she has had a growth spurt and is moving onto a 148 a bit earlier than expected.

Jack has got a great BS record both with his previous owners and with us (though he has had limited outings as my daughter has concentrated more on her other ponies). Having been out of work in his last home we have brought him back into competition and Izzy has had lots of success at BS 70-85cm with him. He is currently successfully jumping 95cm unaffiliated tracks to prepare him for the BS 90s and is schooling round 1m+ tracks at home with lots of scope. Jack has been training with Morgan Kent each week and with Joe Whitaker on a monthly basis. He jumps all fillers/water trays/skinnies etc without hesitation and is never spooky. He is very careful and rarely has a pole. Jack would suit as a starter BS pony (Stepping Stones etc) or for a more experienced child/home to produce for the bigger tracks

Jack is not your typical quirky show jumper. He can do everything! He is a calm, bombproof hack – good with all traffic, animals and farm machinery and safe in open spaces. He has been used to nanny young and nervous horses and would be an amazing hunter as he never tires and covers the ground well. Jack also loves cross-country and is fearless. He has won several hunter trials in his last home and we recently took him to Camp Hill where he came 2nd of a field of 40 – clear and very close to optimum! He has schooled with ease over the BE 80 and 90 fences at Northallerton and goes straight into water. He is an amazing little event pony.

Jack has also participated in all pony club activities including rallies, show jump training, dressage and musical rides with York and Ainsty North (refs available if required). He stands calmly waiting his turn and isn’t phased by any bad behaviour around him. Jack would also do well in the show ring - he is a registered Welsh section C and is beautifully built and super smart – turning heads wherever he goes. He is well schooled and could excel as a working hunter pony at the highest levels.

Beyond all of this Jack is a dream to own. No vices. Easy to do in all ways and can be handled entirely by a child – loads easily, lives out or in (has lived out all Winter with us), is a good doer, never sick or sorry, stands like a rock to be clipped, barefoot but good with the farrier/dentist/vet. Up to date with vaccs, worming, physio. Great at shows – warms up nicely even in a busy collecting ring and stands quietly at the box. Never bolts or rears. He is also extremely affectionate and loves to be cuddled and fussed – you can ride him bareback in a head coller. A true child’s best friend.

Jack’s only negative is that on sunny days in a big field with lots of grass and mares in season (!) he can do a couple of laps before he will be caught. This has only happened twice in the time we have had him.

Jack is a chunky pony with a ‘busy’ canter. He likes to get on with whatever job he is doing. Our pony club instructor describes him as ‘nicely forward without being silly’. For this reason he is not a tiny tots pony but one suitable for a 10 years and over confident and competent child.

Videos of all the above activities including BS classes and jumping a 1m course at home (including my daughter making a mess of things and Jack jumping anyway) are available on You Tube (search Rynys Black Jack).
There are tons of photos available at https://photos.app.goo.gl/8Kh16UCJedy7EErH2

The best of homes only for this amazing little chap. He is a real quality pony and has so much to give - we are devastated to part with him. Previous owners (had him from 3 years old) would like to stay in touch please.

Please email abbyjo2004@yahoo.co.uk in the first instance as I am not always able to answer my phone.

Price includes bridle, some rugs and his stable door name plate (!)

This is a heartbreaking sale of a pony that I have produced myself from a 13 year old. Rambo has taken me from 90 to CIC* and is constantly improving in every discipline. He is always willing, very trainable and easy to do in every way and has only been ridden and looked after by me for the last 3 years. He will always look after his rider and has never been nasty or silly, is bomb proof out hacking and has no vices.

When we bought him he had never been in a dressage arena, but is now in the top of the scores at every event and now always produces a consistent test in the 20s. He has 3 very balanced, active and uphill paces that are easy to ride but there is still lots to come and I feel that with his training carried forward, his marks will continue to improve.

Showjumping is a phase that Rambo really excels in and he is yet to have a fault this season. He finds the novice eventing Showjumping tracks easy and is well known on the eventing circuit for his awesome jump, as a rider all I have to do is point and kick! He has previously jumped 1.60m at home and will happily jump 1.30+ tracks. He is fast against the clock, can turn on a sixpence and will jump off of any stride. He loves to jump and definitely has a future in Showjumping with the right rider as he will always try his absolute hardest to never touch a pole. Showjumping reference is available from the previous Irish pony Showjumping team trainer.

Rambo loves his cross country and is bold, careful and quick. His results do not reflect his talent in this phase as mistakes and inexperience on my behalf have let him down. His scopey jump means that no fence is too big or wide for him and with correct riding he will always try his absolute heart out.

This pony means the world to my family and I, and he owes us absolutely nothing but I have unfortunately outgrown him so it's time for him to have fun with another family. He will absolutely only go to a 5* home and references will be checked. Absolutely no time wasters, genuine enquiries only!

Lots of photos and videos on my You Tube channel "Jemima Stratton Eventing" and on my social media.

Two Tone III (Snoopy) is a 18 year old 148 cm show jump pony.

We have owned Snoopy for 5 years and he has taken my daughter from jumping pony club 80 cm classes to joining BS jumping 1.20 +, he is now ready and able to do the same with his next jockey. He has been fantastic and honest helping her with every hurdle on the way, helping her with her confidence and having fun times on their journey.

As well as being a talented show jumper with a great technique he has also evented up to 100 with BE, unaffiliated , pony club and riding club. He has also done pony club Tetrathalon, jumping clear every time. He has represented school teams for showjumping, eventing, JWS and even dressage! Dressage would not be his natural strong point but he tries his hardest and gives it his all. He competed on the services team jumping at Windsor for the 2nd year running, jumping clear for Pangbourne college both years.

This pony is a much loved family friend as well as an athlete.

With previous owners he has been to HOYs for the Newcomer and Foxhunter finals and with us has been to the nationals for the Members cup and has qualified again last year. He has been to the NSEA championships for show jumping and JWS and was 3rd last year in the 1.10 JWS.

Snoopy loves going out to shows but also enjoys hacking, training, cross country schooling and what ever else his jockey wants to do, he just loves to please.

Arthur is a Welsh x New Forest Grey Gelding 8 years 127.6cm Life Height BS Name My Arcturus BS no 410893

If you are looking for a all round great pony who is safe and steady enough to take your child round a course of 90cm or cross country, hacking and pony club activities, then Arthur is your man. Despite being only 8 he has proved himself to be bold and brave and is a great confidence giver. Nothing phases him. He has jumped all over the country from local unaffiliated to Tiny Tots at Scope. He doesn't look at anything and will try and clear any jump you put him to.

He has been a great BS starter pony for us and has been a great all round pony for his current jockey but she is now ready to move up the levels and he unfortunately isn't fast enough for affiliated jumping. He is a machine cross country and would suit aPC / Hunt / XC home.

Arthur has been with us for the past 5 years and has been a joy to own. He is never sick or sorry and is very low maintenance, he can live in or out. He is currently barefoot as we have never felt the need to have him shod. He is up to date with vaccinations, he has his life JMB height measurement.

Excellent trial facilities - based in lanchester Hundreds of photos and videos available on request.

Arthur has been in both South Durham and Braes of Derwent South Pony Club

She is now back In full work and has jumped her first hoys track at bishop burton just having the last pole down

She regular is winning round 90/1m as is super fast against the clock

She qualified the 95/105 final at Stoneleigh for the academy final 2018

This mare is the easiest pony to have on the yard

Very cheap for what ability she has

She is now only for sale ,as we are moving Amy onto 148s now she has grown ,as we won’t be doing the 138 and 148 winter premiers

One of the most genuine ponies on the Pony Trial circuit is sadly for sale after 3 fantastic years. Night Fury has won and been placed on numerous occasions at Novice, CICP**, CIC* and CCI* nationally and abroad.

Fury is the easiest and most genuine pony around in all 3 phases and at 9 years old, he is just reaching his peak so his next lucky jockey will reap the rewards of this well trained young pony and is sure to go and represent their country.

Not only is Fury the most amazing event pony, he is so safe and solid that he partakes in all Pony Club activities and was part of the winning Open event team at the PC Open Champs 2017. He has also won at BS Foxhunter level on numerous occasions with scope to go further and has a Life Height Certificate (147.4cm) as well as being measured in numerous times by team vet.

Safe to hack, easy to handle, easily adjusts to pony or horse distances. We Genuinely cannot find a bad thing to say about this pony. Someone will have the most amazing time as Tom is now 16 and out of ponies and so it is with lots of tears in our eyes that we are putting this pony of a lifetime up for sale.

For sale now to allow qualification this year and be ready to roll for Pony Trials next season.

Never had a day lame or sick in all the time we have had him, a really tough pony. Absolutely no vices.

Tresorya Angharad-Fflur (Lucy) is a fantastic 138cm jumping pony

In the past three years Lucy has brought my then 12 year old daughter on from PC, NSEA and now British Showjumping. Lucy loves competing and is happiest show jumping

She has competed and won in both team and individual events in Show Jumping and Arena Eventing

She has done some one day events and been placed in dressage competitions too

Lucy loves her job and is forward going. Lucy is not a novice ride, but would be perfect for any young competent rider who wants to compete in either unaffiliated competitions or affiliated Pony Discovery, Blue Chip Newcomers or Pony Foxhunter.

Lucy happily will jump 80-1.00cm and has the potential to jump 1.10cm tracks. She currently has 144 points in winnings

Lucy hacks out alone and with others, good with traffic, shoe, clip etc. Lucy has always been stabled with other ponies & horses and cannot be stabled alone

This is an incredibly hard sale for us so a five star home is essential

Latte is truly a pony of a lifetime! She has brought me through the ranks and has jumped competivly up to 1m20 level. She has more than enough scope and her record speaks for itself.

Latte is a perfect schoolmistress and has previously evented and competed on Pony Club teams.

Last year she won the Pony 1m15 Championship at Scope after jumping exceptionally all year, just missing out on qualifying for the Newcomer Final at HOYS, where she came 4th the year before.

She is good in all ways, no vices; if your looking for a super consistent and competitive pony, Latte is for you!

This pony has scope to burn and with the right rider they will be a pair to watch out for.

He would suit a young, patient and confident kid who wants to further their career. As he can be quite whizzy absolutely no novices.

We are selling Colin because i have sadly outgrown him and are now moving onto horses.

Open to vettings. 5* home is very important.

Ballyorrill Burning Diesel ( aka Blizzard) is a pretty blue roan Irish sports pony. He is 5 years old ( d.o.b 15/07/2013). We have owned him for a year. we bought him freshly backed from Ireland last year. He has a fabulous jump and a fantastic attitude to work. He is not spooky , he loves to jump, he will look to help the rider out and jump the jump, despite his young age.
He has been ridden and handled in all ways by my 13 yr old son. He is 100% on the ground, to load in trailer and lorry, travels well, great with farrier and dentist. He doesn't stress when companions leave him, stands patiently at shows. He has no stable vices and is happy in or out. He is good with other horses, an easy going boy in the field. He hacks out alone or in company. He is excellent in traffic. He has never bucked, reared , bolted or napped.

Blizzard is never sick or sorry, he has no health issues. He is clean limbed with no lumps or bumps. He is up to date with back, teeth, vaccinations, worming. He is ridden in a 15 1/2" Kent and masters pony saddle, fitted by a master saddler. This is available by separate negotiation.

Blizzard is a forward going competition pony. He loves to jump and will take a rider to the very top. We have spent the last year bringing him on slowly. He has been jumping 70/80/85 BS and unaffiliated, and now schooling higher at home with scope for so much more. He has been to loads of shows and is now an experienced competition -goer both at day shows and stay away shows. He has been doing a lot of BS schools jumping at 70 and 80, qualifying for the national team finals at Stoneleigh this year at 70 and 80 cm. He only has 10 BS points because points are not awarded for schools jumping.

We are selling Blizzard because my son feels that his job with Blizzard is done and he will not have time to ride three over the winter, he has a 148 that he is competing and is moving onto a horse to run alongside.

Blizzard can be seen and tried at our home in Carmarthenshire or at Welsh Home Pony ( Chepstow ) 27/28/29 th July or BS National Champs at Stoneleigh ( Warwickshire) 7/8 th August.

Experienced competitive showjumping home required to take Blizzard to the top over the next few years. He is only just 5 years old but jumps like a much more experienced pony.

The time as come to sell our wonderful pony. We purchased her 3 years ago to jump school teams and relieve our other 148 of so many competitions. However she proved so willing and capable we jumped her b.s. from discovery through to foxhunter. She qualified the nationals discovery and bronze league two years on the trot, blue chip two years and obviously scope.

She introduced Gemma to 110cm in Ireland jumping double clears. She has many results from 90cm-110cm.Her points have now taken her out of newcomers but I would love her to go and do the same job for another child wanting to start at 90cm and move through the ranks. Many classes available still for her to achieve championship results.

She is good to load box clip, she is barefoot and is happy without shoes. Though we did have her shod last year for grass jumping. She has never been lame . Very easy to manage on a daily basis. Excellent in the most heaviest of traffic, we hack down a main road to get on country lanes. She has to have a special home as I would keep them all given the opportunity.

Sadly outgrown and daughter out of juniors this year and of to college. Her price includes rugs and jw saddle and bridle. We have also xc schooled and competed arena eventing at 85cm.

Donald is the most genuine, lovely pony that anyone could wish for. He is an absolute delight to own and only selling as rider moving on to horses.

He is a talented show jumper but loves jumping round our cross country course so would also be a super all round pony.

He has lovely flat work so dressage would result in rosettes , he is well balanced and will pop in a flying change when ever asked.

He is such a polite pony, he just wants to please, he is not a kick along but nor does he just take charge regardless of the riders wishes, he is ideal for a smaller rider who wants a pony for several years who wants to do more than just one discipline. He is happily ridden by a small 10 year old in our yard.

In 2016 he jumped a couple of Newcomers second rounds as a 7 year old just having 4 faults, with previous rider and again 2018 at Pyecombe and Bicton with current rider

He is fit, ready and waiting for a new rider.

He hacks out alone, travels alone, has been to many stay away shows.

He is perfect to clip, shoe, in the stable, on horse walker, with dogs around his feet, is used to a busy yard, tractors etc.

Everything up to date, teeth, flu, worm, back etc.
