This is the hardest advert that I have ever written. We brought Lexi as a 4 year old for myself to hack out and have a go at dressage, so that I had a pony that I could ride alongside my then 5 year old daughter. Towards the end of 2021 when my daughter was 11 she decided that she was going to start riding her. They competed in their first BS Competition together in 2022 and have gone on to achieve so much.

Lexi is a sharp bouncy mare who loves her job. She was my daughters first 148cm and taught her so much. Since 2021 Lexi has only ever been ridden by my daughter. She has not competed much this year as my daughter has focused on her two JA ponies and it has been too much to keep all of the ponies fit and out competing whilst keeping on top of her school work. Lexi was brought back into work at the start of the school summer holidays and went to the WHPI and jumped clear in all of her classes. My daughter is out of ponies this year so all of her ponies must be sold. Lexi is far too good and loves her job far too much to be kept in a field. Taking her to Wales this summer after her break made me realise this, she loved being back out competing.

This is an honest advert Lexi is not a novice ride she is a real competition pony, she is quite buzzy. Her flatwork is not perfect and she can bounce along on a hack. She is 100% to box, shoe and clip and is very loving. She was late starting her BS career and has never been overjumped. She is incredibly careful and always wants to please. She is a fantastic 1.10 pony who steps up and jumps the Winter JCs and has done the debut teams qualifiers etc at EHPI, but I would not want to sell her someone who thought she could compete above 1.20.

She has qualified and been placed in lots of National Finals some of her results include :

- 2024 Qualified Newcomers Masters
- 2024 Qualified Winter JC Final at RIHS
- 2024 Finished 8th in the Bliss of London Coral Championship at The Blue Chip Championships
- 2023 Finished 5th in the NSEA Winter 1.10 Final at Addington
- 2023 Finished 7th in the Bliss of London Coral Championship at The Blue Chip Championships
- 2022 Finished 5th in the NSEA Winter 1.10 Championship at Keysoe
- 2022 Finished 8th in the Novice Masters Final at Scope Championships
- 2022 Finished 3rd in the Brightstar Final at Scope Championships
- 2022 10th in the British Novice Championship at The National Championships
- 2022 4th in the Bronze League Final at The National Championships

This is a heart breaking sale and Lexi will only go to the best of homes where I feel she will happy.

Please no timewasters or video collectors. We are in no rush whatsoever. I would quite happily keep her, but it would be such a waste.

No loans, lease or LWVTB. Please call me if interested.

We have had the honour of owning Razzle for 5 months. My daughter wanted to find a safe pony to do her first and last year of BS showjumping 128. She turns 12 and is out next year. Razzle has been better then we could of ever expected. Razzle is Approx 12.2. Razzle is only 8 years old and it was also her first year too. They have had many good results and double clears.
Razzle has won £269 and 98 BS points with us this summer.
2nd BN Chard
3rd Mini Major @ Bolesworth
12th Mini Major qualifier Rectory Farm
1st in Springboard @ Rectory farm.
4 double clears for Stepping stones & BN
Amongst many others, Razzle had 6/6 fast clears at the British SJ championships at Stoneleigh 2 weeks ago. She was 10th in the Stepping stones championships and was 4th 128 in the bronze league qualifier.
Razzle is safe to hack alone or in company. She is a mother’s dream.
She would also make a fabulous Event & pony Club pony. She Can turn on the spot and would be a winning pony for teams and NSEA.
She moves beautifully and is brave & bold XC.
Razzle will only go to the best of homes. Please only serious enquiries only.

Lizzies Personality - Lizzie is a beautiful ‘person’ inside and out. She is calm, kind and has a lovely disposition. Lizzie will look after her rider. Lizzie is a very affectionate mare. She is perfect to clip, shoe, load, travel, dentist and physio.

Lizzie is not spooky and hacks out alone and in company in the busiest of traffic.

Lizzie maintains her concentration and doesn’t bat an eyelid at JCBs, large lorries and tractors a few feet away from her, dogs running around, kids shouting and galloping around and rides consistently in strong winds or heavy rain. She literally doesn’t care! Her disposition means that she copes well at the busiest of competitions.

Lizzie under saddle - Lizzie has competed in all disciplines. Though fun and nicely forward going, Lizzie is not spooky. Lizzie is snaffled mouthed and we feel best suited as a third pony to make use of her ability, willingness and current age. She is not suitable for complete novice rider.

Showjumping – Lizzie does her very best to please and look after her rider. Lizzie is jumping around a course of 95cm jumps at the minute at home. (Scope to go higher) Lizzie doesn’t stop, has a great natural jumping canter and has the willingness and athleticism to jump off any stride (even if it’s wrong) has been winning all the classes in the 80 cm and 90cm locally.

Cross Country – Lizzie has successfully competed at Hunter Trials and One Day Events. She has partaken in numerous cross country training clinics, and with her old owners she did Farm Rides and hound exercises with the Readyfield Bloodhounds. Loves water and happily jumps 80cm at local hunter trials. In the ribbons for SDPC intermediate hunter trials every time! Cross country machine!

Flat work – Lizzie works very hard in her flat work and always tries to please. She has competed dressage at arena uk area qualifiers placing really well in a big class. Has flatwork schooling with her trainer 3 times a week.

Breeding - Bred out of Killaloe Buachaill Mor and Monaghanstown Girl. Grandsire is top showjumper, Templebready Fear Bull. Lizzie show name: Kinnemara Girl.

Lizzie is up-to-date with vaccinations, physio, shoes, teeth and the dentist.

Lizzie really is a pony of a lifetime. Only 5* homes will be considered.

Blake has been with us for 3 fantastic years taking my daughter from jumping 40 to 70 cm courses. He steps up and down the gears to suit the rider. At camp this year he was the pony all the others wanted to swap onto and have a go on!

He is fantastic to catch, load, clip, shoe etc. Good in traffic.

He has never been sick or sorry.

A genuine fun and safe pony, always comes home with a rosette in any type of competition he's entered in including: ridden showing, working hunter, show jumping, arena eventing and Cross Country. Been to stay away shows, pony club camp. He's unfazed by new environments whether a stable in an american barn or electric fence pony lines he's taken it all in his stride.

Will stay tied up to the box all day/stand on the lorry and will happily mow the grass, munch on hay or fall asleep until needed!

Goes first or last when hacking, he will plod around the lanes on the buckle or go cantering through the woods jumping logs and trees.

Slots into any position in pony club rides but often used as lead carrot for other ponies in rallies/ camp.

Hunted with previous owners

Achievements:
Arena Eventing National champs at Eland Lodge: 2nd in 60cm and 4th in 70cm classes. (He has a lovely even paced smooth canter)
Qualified for South West show jumping championships at 60 and 70 cm
Qualified Sunshine tour 60 and 70cm
Won best Pony Club pony (twice)at our pony club show.
Won best all round pony award
Won Area Tetrathlon (Tadpole 60cm class) he went clear for 1400 points and left his rider to focus on the other 3 disciplines!

A very sad sale as only reason we're not keeping him is his rider wants to progress in tetrathlon/eventing and is looking to move onto 80/90 cm courses.

5* home a must, this is a very sad sale.

Lots of videos available on request.

CHIPS

Adorable 13.2hh 2017 Irish bay gelding.

This lovely little lad is used to being ridden and handled by small children, he’s been used as a fantastic family pony and is now outgrown.

Chips has hunted, he’s done showjumping shows, a handful of dressage tests, fun rides and pretty much a bit of everything else! He is an absolute sweetheart to ride and handle. Offering three lovely steady paces in the arena, with a fantastic steady canter, voice activated and a very uncomplicated and easy ride for any type of rider. He will jump coloured fences and XC fences all the same, doesn’t change in new environments and wants to get it right.

A genuinely lovely pony to hack out, brilliant in open spaces, chaotic environments and heavy / busy traffic, he doesn’t ride any different when alone or in company.

Chips is easy to have around, easy to do and a low maintenance type, a kind pony who loves children, likes to be groomed and pampered.

Open to any vet or trainer.

It’s with a very heavy heart that we offer Butleigh Tara (“Rara”) for sale. She’s an absolute super star, but sadly, I’ve realised she’s just a little bit too much pony for my 8-year-old daughter. Rara is dearly loved, so she will only go to a 5?? home where she’ll be adored as much as she is here.

Butleigh Tara (“Rara”) - Rara has helped bring my daughter on beautifully, teaching her to ride more from her seat and develop real feel in the saddle. She is a fantastic pony for a confident, competent child looking to have fun and progress across all disciplines.

Good in all ways to catch, load, farrier, clip etc.

Kind and gentle on the ground. Handled by children even my 5 year old.

Has competed SJ, Dressage, XC, showing, workers and hunted in a previous home.

Great to take to shows.

Hacks alone and in company.

Works in a natural outline with 3 lovely paces.

Bold and scopey jump.

Attends weekly lessons / clinics

Rara has done it all — showjumping, dressage, cross country, showing, working hunter, and hunting in her previous home. She’s a pleasure to take to shows and always behaves impeccably.

Rara would suit an experienced young rider looking for a forward-going, fun, and honest all-rounder. She’s ready to go out and bring home ribbons with her next best friend.

Coloured mare, 16YO, 13.1HH, owned by us for 3 yrs.

Sweetie (BS Name - Sweetie Heart) is the perfect all rounder pony, extremely versatile, performing well at show jumping, eventing, dressage, hunting, BS, Pony Club and NSEA, pony racing at Cheltenham and even some beginner polo with the Beaufort Polo Club. She recently won the British Showjumping Bronze League (138cms) in the South West region (demonstrating consistently good results in BS 80cm+ for 6 months) and competed in the Stepping Stones Final (95cms start height) where she jumped her socks off for my son!

John loves show jumping and Sweetie has been the perfect schoolmaster to take him up from unaffiliated 70cm up the grades to affiliated 95cm, but sadly he has now outgrown her. She is very genuine and brave, and has seen it all before. She is safely forward and fun. She has proven to be fast against the clock, mainly owing to her ability to turn on a sixpence without unbalancing her jockey and forever willing to help him out to get to the finish line. My son regularly competed straight out of boarding school and is not the bravest of riders, but they have brought home countless rosettes and numerous qualifications and he has formed a strong bond with this super little pony.

One Day Eventing - she loves cross country and will happily jump into water, over coffins, trakehners, skinnies, drops, whatever is asked of her and easily makes the time. She produces a lovely dressage test, was placed in the PC Dressage Championships, and is easy to get on the bit and into a nice rhythm. She is well schooled and ridden regularly by a small pro. John has done a few ODEs on her and has always been placed. She was 3rd individually at Rectory Farm ODE 70cm 2023 with 73% Dressage (against adults - same course as the PC Champs, following day); Shipton Moyne Beaufort Pony Club ODE, Team 2nd. He has regularly schooled her over 80/85cm.

She has hunted with the VWH and jumped everything asked of her. My son has done a few lessons at the Beaufort Polo Club and she was unfazed, sharp off the leg, and loved every minute of it!

She has been incredibly well cared for with us, including regular worming, vaccinations, dentistry, physio and is healthy and sound. She is easy to clip, shoe, worm, box, lunge, lead off / lead (even off a bicycle, responding beautifully to canter, wow, etc.). I'm looking for a home who are set up and able to ensure her cherished lifestyle continues as deserved. Company and all year turn out is important to me personally as something all our horses enjoy.

Open to vetting. Based near Chippenham / Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

Vices - she is not a pony that loves to be fussed and cuddled. No malice and never bites or kicks, just prefers her own space. She prefers to travel with another (does not like trailers), though we have regularly taken her to shows alone, including stay-overs.

I would love to keep this pony forever as we all adore her, so this will be a heartbreaking sale for us, but my son has definitely outgrown her. She needs a new jockey to take her reins and have some fun! The home is very important to us and will be vetted. We would love to keep in touch. Please no amateurs, she is a competition pony and needs a confident child who wants bring home the ribbons!

An absolutely gutting sale of my beloved dream boy roo, I have owned roo since he was a yearling - he was professionally backed as a 3 year old then schooled on by myself, he shows huge potential for showing , dressage and showjumping!

Has a bold jump and knows his job once he’s in regular work, I’m not a brave jumper so I don’t do much of this! He schools lovely, he is not a push button pony you have to work to get him going but once you know how to ride him you’ll get the absolute best out of him !

He hacks alone or in company, is currently barefoot and up to date with all jabs and everything else !

He’d make a cracking pony club pony, he wants for nothing and is happy doing anything whether that is pottering round the arena or in full work mode !

Princess is an absolutely stunning British Riding Pony looking to go far with her next rider. A talented, forward-thinking mare with a huge heart and a passion for jumping, she’s looking for a small, confident, and competent rider who wants to progress and have fun—especially over fences!

She has been a dream partner, helping her current small person grow from a novice to a confident and capable rider. Princess jumps 90cm with ease, has cleared 1.05m, and also shines in flatwork, polework and dressage. She’s a true second pony—absolutely not a kick-along, and not suitable for novices, but ideal for a rider ready to build a strong partnership.

 Key Features:
• Excels at showjumping, hacking, and flatwork
• Incredibly safe on roads, unphased by heavy farm machinery
• Excellent in warm-up arenas – focused and professional
• Loves liberty work – smart, responsive, and willing
• Great with animals, including dogs
• Loves to be pampered and fussed over
• Brilliant to clip, catch, shoe, and handle
• Well-mannered in the stable and around the yard
• Fully vaccinated, teeth up to date, and fully shod
• Prefers to be stabled at night, especially winter – not a hardy type

Princess has been to lots of PC activities including camp where she behaved impeccably.
She has competed in several unaffiliated SJ competitions where she regularly comes first. She is very quick against the clock!
Princess has sadly been outgrown and will be very much missed.

Princess is a very special pony looking for the right small, gentle and sensitive rider to continue her journey. She has so much more to give and will make someone incredibly proud. She will be sadly missed.

Has been to a county show and was super chilled with a busy atmosphere.

Meet Sue Ellen – a 13hh, 10-year-old Dartmoor X mare who’s full up in every corner and built like a tank!

This little powerhouse has:

Done all Pony Club activities
Attended 4 Pony Club camps
Hunted, showjumped & tackled hunter trials like a pro

She’s not a first pony, and was sadly mis-sold as one. While she’s safe and sane, she needs a rider who’ll get stuck in and kick on. The more you ride her forward, the more she gives — no flappy Florence’s, please! She’s ready to go and loves having a job.

Best suited to an active Pony Club or hunting home where she’ll be out doing what she loves.

Fab to handle in every way – ties up, grooms, plaits, loads – no fuss.

Owner’s comments:
“She has a kind heart and really thrives on love and attention. She’s amazing to plait, be groomed, cuddled and pampered — it’s just part of who she is. I think it’s intrinsic to her nature and why she deserves a home that truly enjoys that bond.”

Comes with glowing Pony Club references.

Serious enquiries only — the right home is far more important than the price.

Flower Pot was purchased as an unbroken 6 year old and has been slowly produced by my daughter, who has sadly outgrown her. She has been the pony of a lifetime for us and has taught my daughter so much, but she is now ready for her next rider.

She is very willing to learn and eager to please. She’s polite to handle with impeccable ground manners.

Our focus has been on jumping, as it’s what they both prefer, however her flatwork is beautiful as we’ve worked to give her a good grounding, and as such, she has three well established paces.

Jumping - Flower Pot will currently clear 120cm in the field. We have competed her up to 90cm frequently over the last few years unaffiliated, and most recently 1m, where she qualified for the Sunshine Tour 2025 at Hickstead in 1m placing 1st, and 90cm & 80cm with double clears placing 2nd and 3rd respectively.

We’ve recently registered her with BS Club, and she has placed every time.

She really enjoys XC, and can easily clear fences up to 1m on the course. She is bold to a fence, and frequently gives leads over jumps and through water to other less confident horses in lessons.

She has been on numerous pleasure rides and will jump anything put in front of her. She will be up front, and just keeps going!

Flower Pot has attended many Pony Club rallies, and camp. She has attended a few games training sessions and polocrosse in the past, however we’ve focused on jumping for the last few years.

My daughter frequently rides and jumps her bareback with only a neck strap in the field. She has recently passed her Pony Club C+ Test on her, and received full marks in the ridden section of her PE GCSE on Flower Pot.

She is very eye catching and always turns heads and receives compliments at shows. She has beautiful even markings and I feel she would excel in a showing environment.

She is able to be turned out in a mixed herd, with a single companion, or by herself with others in view.

She is barefoot and has never been shod. Her feet are brilliant and require very little maintenance. She is hacked out a few times a week on the road alone by my 16yr old daughter, but is equally happy with company.

She stands well for the farrier and vet, and is perfect to clip. She loads in a trailer or a wagon.

Injections, worming and teeth are up to date.

Flower Pot is not a novice ride. An ideal home would be a quiet gutsy rider who will continue to progress with her.

This is an incredibly hard sale of a once-in-a-lifetime pony. Ziggy has been our daughter’s best friend and therapy pony for the past 5 years—but sadly, despite our best efforts, her legs just keep growing! She now looks like an ornament perched on a shelf, and it’s time for Ziggy to find a smaller rider to love him as much as she has.

We bought Ziggy when he was 7 and our daughter was 10. They’ve grown together through Pony Club camps, showjumping, cross-country, dressage, rallies, and even pony racing (up to Level 3!). Ziggy has been a steady and calming presence for her anxiety, often ridden bareback in just a headcollar—even popping jumps up to 90cm without putting a hoof wrong.

What makes Ziggy so special:
• Brilliant to hack, alone or in company – totally traffic-proof
• Kind, safe, and sensible – rides and leads, great for nervous or first-time riders
• Easy to handle – catches, loads, leads, trims (farrier every 6–8 weeks), up to date with vaccinations, worming, and teeth
• Sociable – happy turned out alone or in mixed herds
• No vices, no laminitis history (though like all good ponies, he does love his food!)

Ziggy is a dream to lunge, has perfect ground manners, and is currently schooling over 70cm courses with ease. With a smaller jockey, he’d be the perfect fun allrounder or confidence-giver.

Full Transparency:

He did not pass a vetting due to a slight toe drag—something that’s never been noticed by our vet, instructors, or us. After extensive scans and X-rays, it’s been confirmed he just has an unusual gait, with no underlying issue or lameness. He remains sound and happy in all his work.

Ziggy is truly one in a million. He deserves another child to adore him and continue the fun. This is a heart-wrenching decision, and he will only go to the best of homes.
