Flynn is a true once-in-a-lifetime pony — a top-class, up-to-height 133cm who takes up the leg beautifully, yet is kind and careful enough for even the tiniest or most nervous jockey.
Flynn is beautifully schooled and perfect for the most nervous/tiniest jockey - previously he safely carried his 8yr old jockey in the 133 open show Hunter pony class at HOYS not putting a foot out of place!
He competes happily at the biggest, busiest of shows — no lunging, no earplugs, just walks straight off the lorry and does his job with a smile on his face!
He’s beautifully schooled, easy, and completely reliable. Flynn can go from a championship show ring one weekend to pony club rallies, hacking, hunting, beach rides, and riding club the next — always the same safe, genuine pony.
Flynn is one of the most genuine ponies - always highly placed in both the SHP and Part Bred Classes -
Show Highlights:
• Consistently highly placed in both SHP and Part-Bred classes - too many wins and championships to mention them all!
• WPCS Bronze Medal Winner 2025
• Reserve Supreme at the WPCS Performance Show - winning the dressage, showjumping, WHP and arena eventing.
• Qualified and Placed in the WPCS Gelding National Championship
• Qualified and placed for HOYS & RI
• Winner of arena eventing, dressage, show jumping, and side saddle classes
• 2nd in both London qualifiers – just missing his ticket!
• Qualified for NPS dressage championships 2026
Flynn carries a side saddle beautifully and gives a mannerly ride every time. He’s been borrowed by smaller first ridden jockeys in championships and warm-ups without a care.
He started jumping when he came to us and has taken to it brilliantly — now competing successfully out showjumping and has jumped BS on a ticket, confidently jumping round working hunter and arena eventing courses, often bringing home red rosettes!
He would easily jump the HOYS 133 tracks next season, but sadly our daughter is out of the class, and he’s simply too good to stay at home.
Flynn has been completely home produced by my daughter- As much as he’s a competition pony he’s also been her play pony, He’s ridden by non-horsey friends, hacked alone and in company, and is safe in all traffic.
Flynn hacks anywhere, hunts, goes to the beach, along the mountains, he’s fabulous in traffic, out hound exercising, he attends riding club weekly etc
This is an incredibly sad sale of a much-loved family pony. Please, no time wasters — he deserves only the very best home.
