Super little model with an uphill frame and nice forward movement.

ECHO is a super fun type, we could absolutely see him on the hunt field/ farm rides, and with a bit more schooling making a nice RC/ PC family guy.

He is a dream to have around and do.

He has a little 'sass' in that he has shown a small nap (small mini rear) with leaving the yard, and is learning to bend a little better in the arena - but who wants perfect - he is a character building and fun type. Has been rock solid of hack past cows/ traffic etc. Pops jumps but does require the rider to steer a little! He is forward going in the arena, but will plod behind in a group just as happily.

Super fun, not perfect, but he'll make you a super rider!

Really takes up the leg without being too wide.

Owner might consider a PX - she would like to plod along and lead her daughter. ECHO is ideal to lead off but is more forward than the child's pony!

This experienced, well bred, grey,154cm (15.1 hand) pretty competition mare Laybalands Royal Pageant is looking for a new home. Reason for sale is very sadly our relocation to the West Country.

Flo is a great choice for a confident rider who wants to progress through the levels. She is a talented 12 year old mare with 3 lovely paces and a bold jump. She has competed and won many unaffiliated classes in a range of disciplines and for the last few years she has been competing at the higher level in affiliated BSHA Showing, British Dressage and British Eventing.

She has been owned and competed by myself for the last 7 years. I have had her since she was 5 and with the help of some excellent instructors and consistent training she is now able to compete successfully across the disciplines.

She has a life height measurement of 154cm so qualifies for the Small Hack classes in showing. We have had a 4th at Windsor in the Amateur class and we qualified for the Search For a Star Hack/Riding class and competed and came 9th at the Horse of the Year Show. We were selected and competed in the British Dressage South and East Team at both the Regionals and the Inter County competitions. She has qualified 3 times for Petplan Area Festival and her next outing is Saturday in the FS Music Novice. She is training at BD Elementary level at home and getting good scores in competitions at Novice Level.

This Summer Flo has been campaigned at BE90 with a professional rider at Blindley Heath, Tweseldown and Friends of Freddie. Each time she has won or been very high up in the dressage phase and stormed round the Cross Country inside the time, she just needs to improve her technique and accuracy in SJ to be in the top placings. Last time out in July she had a top 10 placing at BE90. She would make a great grass roots eventer. She is ready for the Autumn events.

Flo is good to shoe, load and unload from a trailer, clip, bath and with the Vet. She has excellent ground manners and is polite and easy to handle. Trained well to the lunge and settles well at stay away shows. Currently lives out 24/7 but also good in a stable if weather is bad, or for shows.

She is quick to learn is very trainable and always aims to please and just wants to crack on with her job.

She is great to hack either alone or in company, sensible on the road, used to a variety of traffic, is well mannered in open country, has been to the beach and participated in sponsored rides. She loves a canter and a gallop but is sensible and comes back nicely.

She would be perfect for a competitive amateur or ambitious confident and competent teenager, no novices as she is fit and ready to progress up the levels.

The heartbreaking time has come to find Alfie a new home. He is a approx 15.1hh 7yr old gelding by Lonsdale Legend out of an Earl of Newbridge mare.

Alfie was bred by us but has been professionally produced, with the main focus being the RDS Dublin Horse Show Connemara Performance Class in which he qualified in 2023 and 2024 (1st place in both qualifiers)

He has competed and placed in working hunter classes, arena Eventing, showjumping and has competed in a couple of Eventing Ireland events at 90cm and 1m obtaining a great dressage score and giving the rider a great ride cross country and show jumping. This is where we feel he will really reach his full potential given the opportunity.

However, he would equally be an amazing allrounder for a competitive rider who wants to be in the ribbons in a variety of disciplines.

He can hack out alone and in company, in the countryside or on the beach. He grew up on a farm so no fear of machinery, dogs, children or busy roads.

Willow was bought as a project last summer and has been such a joy to produce. She is working well across all disciplines and is proving to be an honest and willing horse who is now ready to go on and enjoy a more adventurous life - getting out and about to events, competitions, PC/RC and training days.

She has been XC schooling a number of times as well as SJ arena hire sessions, both of which she has completed confidently showing she is brave and honest and loves her job. She is happy to go out both accompanied and on her own. She is progressing nicely on the flat and is naturally very straight and obedient off the aids. Willow is excellent in traffic and a pleasure to hack alone and in company. She was stabled on a working farm whilst with me, and so she is also used to large machinery near by.

Happy to be stabled or out 24/7, and can be turned out either alone or in company, she also copes well with a few days off. She is very straightforward to catch, load, shoe and clip.

Snaffle mouthed, with good brakes, she will go in front or behind doing canter work/hacking. She would suit a confident, able rider who can kindly continue her education and enjoy taking her to her first few competition outings, pony club/riding club and beyond.

She is, of course, young and a full thoroughbred, and therefore not a novice ride (yet). At 15.2hh she is a great size for a competent younger rider moving on from ponies, or a mother/daughter/son share, and this dynamic could work really well for her and a younger rider. Alternatively, she is a fantastic project for someone experienced to take on and move her up through the grades.

I have thoroughly enjoyed taking Willow to this stage, though sadly work commitments mean I cant give her the consistency she needs to progress.

Someone will have lots of fun!

Very Good looking gelding who has been in the same home for the last three and a half years.

O Malley is a lovely non spooky hack who marches up with ears pricked! He is happy on his own or in company and will go first or last being good in traffic and open spaces. He has also been hunted with the Banwell and Mendip Farmers.

Previously has taken part in dressage comps been shown and is easy to manage and take out being good to load and travel.

He has jumped but this wouldn’t be his favourite discipline so would be better suited to a hacking hunting low level competition or family home.

Easy to do on the yard he loves some attention and is good to be shod and caught.

Absolutely lovely cremello Connemara gelding. He is a very polite, sensible 3yr old, with a great attitude to work.
He is N/N for Hoofwall, and is straight and sound. He is currently standing 150cm with more growing to do yet.
He has been with us from a foal, and is only available now due to changes in our own circumstances - he was always meant to be a keeper! He is bold to a fence, and a confident type of horse in general. Not a spooky or sharp horse in any way.

He has been on arena hires, cross country schooling, and did some jumping at local leagues with a young teen on board, where he didn't put a foot wrong and jumped every fence without issue. He has also been to the beach, where he happily trotted right through the water with no hesitation.
He is brave enough to Event, and careful enough to Showjump. He is a genuinely kind and willing horse at every obstacle he is faced with.

He loves his hacking through our local forestry, happy to go in front or behind, and alone or in company.

To handle he is easy, always trots up to you to be caught in the field, loads on the horsebox first time every time, enjoys being groomed etc.

Not the mareish type. 11 years old. (Low mileage).

Great to load, catch, shoe and clip. Great to handle in general, very mannerly on the ground.
Great with cyclists flying past, aggressive dogs and livestock.

Ruby’s a really friendly girl. Will live in or out, but prefers out and is a good doer.

Ridden… she’s willing, safe and responsive off the leg. She’s so much fun. Has done a little bit of everything, hunted when younger, SJ, hunter trials, dressage, ODE and fun rides.

Rubes has low mileage.. was competed for a year with previous owner, a few summers with me, and since then I’ve just been hacking her. She’d happily get out and about again.

Clean legs and dare I say it .. always s o u n d.

She’s very well behaved out hacking but can be a little jumpy on her own.. probably best to describe her as suspicious!
Will walk in an open field on the buckle before or after a gallop and will always come back to you in a snaffle (convinced she could easily go bitless).

I’ve competed her at riding club level.. 70/80cm XC/ XC schooling, 70-80cm SJ and riding club dressage.

She has a great jump on her and can go higher but I’m happy just sticking to that height.

Would do a lovely Dressage test but it’s not my thing.

I’ve not wanted to compete for two years but I’d still take her to a show tomorrow, do a practice fence and expect her to do a clear round.
She just gets on with it. Doesn’t take offence if you get something wrong and isn’t a sensitive horse at all.. like riding a gelding.

Though she would NEVER buck, rear, spin, bolt or nap, she does feel unsure at times out hacking solo and takes confidence from her rider (just needs a scratch on the neck and a squeeze) so for that reason I’d prefer her to go to someone who is confident hacking.

I feel she would be most happy in a home with an adult who likes to do a bit of everything, maybe riding club events, fun rides etc but would also happily just hack and be a best friend.

She has the talent for most activities and has the speed in her, but although she does light up when she sees a fence, she isn’t the kind of horse to drag you round a XC course.

She’s a quite a chilled girl, which I adore about her. She’ll be the one behaving like an Angel in the warm up regardless of what’s going on around her.
