Fabulous 128 JA pony looking for the perfect new home to be loved & adored like we have done with her.

She has been with us for the last 7 years, when we bought her we stepped her down from the big tracks jumping with results at Royal Dublin show etc to look after my daughter who was 7 years old at the time and just starting she showed her the ropes and looked after her jumping consistent double clears to qualify for BS stoneleigh finals, and was delighted to come 4th in bolesworth mini major.

She is a very versatile pony and loves hacking, hunting, racing up the gallops and would enjoy a variety of pony club activities.

She can step up or down for her rider and will figure out her own strides to jump clear, she can be as slow or as quick as you want in a jump off and has enough stride to jump in open classes as we have done as my daughters now 14 and refused to sell her, but now realises she is way to big and it’s unfair on the pony !

We are looking for the dream home for a pony that has given us more joy than we could ask for and taught my daughter everything!

This sweet little gelding has sadly been outgrown and has spent the last couple of years in the field. He has recently been brought back into light work and is taking everything in his stride.

Back in work: Now being lunged and gently restarted. A small child has sat on him and walked around — he’s proving to be calm, sensible and willing.

Great temperament: Easy to handle, good to lead, for the farrier, and loads/travels well.

Family-friendly: Super around children, dogs and busy farm environments.

Potential: Has previously been a lead rein pony and will make a lovely LR again. With more work, he has all the makings of a fun off–lead rein pony too.

He is lightly in work and priced as such — price will increase as his workload and education continue.

Only vice is can be cheeky to catch but always comes to you with a feed scoop in hand!

He has done it all from pony club, SJI, hunting, agricultural shows, eventing and ride outs.

He is a great little jumper, generally gets himself over no matter how he’s brought into the fence! Has 80 SJI points.

Has been on the qualifying team for pony club championships twice.
Jumps 90cms. Very easy ride, can move up on demand but not strong.

He is unbelievably quiet to shoe, clip or do anything with. Loves being pampered. No vices.

It is with a very heavy heart that we have decided to find Skype a new best friend who she can teach and have endless fun with.

Skype is a very sweet natured mare. No health issues other than sweet itch to manage in the summer months. She is always quiet and calm and enjoys a fuss! She will be a perfect lead rein for another little person, or a wonderful first/second ridden for a more experienced/confident rider.

We have owned Skype for almost 2 years and she has brought our daughter on heaps to coming off the lead rein at pony club camp. She would need a rider who is confident to tell her who’s in charge. The reason we have decided to sell is because our daughter has now moved onto her next pony, and our son has no interest in riding.

Skype is good to shoe, load, groom etc. She does need to be sedated to clip. Skype lives in at night and out by day in the winter months and lives out throughout the summer months.

Skype is happier kept in regular work.

We have attended rallies, show jumping, pony club camp etc. We have not taken her hunting and I’m not sure her previous home did either so I’m afraid I cannot give a reference for her hunting.

This little legend of a pony needs absolutely no introduction. He has been a lovely lead rein pony for his last 2 jockeys, winning many showing and dressage classes, taking champion at various venues and turning heads wherever he goes.

Smudge loves to hack and is great on and off the lead. He is unphased by the heaviest of traffic/machinery and is also broken to drive.

He is a good lead rein pony but is NOT a first pony for someone coming off the lead. He needs an older child who is a good capable jockey as he can be opinionated at times off the lead. I believe he’d be a great WH Pony, Open Pony or Riding Club Pony.

He is great to: load, travel, clip, lead, catch, shoe, bath, amazing in the stable with children, hack etc.

Fantastic all round pony club lead rein and family pony. Popeye is the sort of pony you can leave for weeks, pop your child on to go for a ride and know he’ll be the same as the last time he was ridden. Not phased by wobbly tiny tots.

Popeye hacks alone and in company, good in traffic(including trains!), pops a little fence and goes sweetly on the flat. He’ll follow you over anything, he’s very brave and willing.

Used to all farm machinery and pheasant proof. Will hack all day.

Good to do in all ways, turns out on his own or in company and doesn’t stress if he’s left, equally doesn’t bother about being left in on his own. Good to handle, catch, clip, bath, for the farrier, to travel etc. He really is a very easy pony to have around.

Popeye has started his education off the lead and is coming along nicely, he has a lovely balanced canter and would be suitable for a competent child off the lead however he is not a tiny tots fyfr due to his lack of mileage as a first ridden.

Never been sick or sorry, he’s a happy little chap who has so much to give to another family.

'Lightning' The MOST Gorgeous Best Friend anyone could wish for. He is the easiest, sweetest boy to handle. We call him our pet dog, as he would follow us around all day for cuddles if he could.

He is beautiful on the flat and very responsive. He behaves at arena hire, cross country, pony club rallies, fun rides and competitions, the same as he does at home. Perfect in open spaces and not strong. Been through water & loves a day out.

Before us he was in Ireland, and loved to go out hunting too.

We ride him in a snaffle, but when a tiny rider pops on him we put him on the second ring on a gag & this gives them plenty of brakes. Nothing more is needed, he’s that perfect. He really wants to please & never does anything naughty.

When at the gallops he’ll fly up the track with the rider trying to win, or stay 1/2 a mile back with a nervous rider just wanting to trot. He really is a dream.

Saying all this, he isn’t a complete first pony, as he loves jumping & becomes much more forward when you pop the jumps up past 50cm. He will happily trot around a course of cross poles though. If the rider can hold their reins, walk & trot, then he’ll teach you everything else nice & calmly.

He’s been to lots of stay away shows this year & loved it. Most recently Spooktacular at Arena UK, jumping double clears every day in the 40&50cm.

We’ve competed him successfully up to 65cm. Arena Hire up to 80cm, individual jumps up to 95cm. Scope for more.

In Ireland he competed in 18 classes, 70&80cm and won 17 of them!! Had 1 pole in the other. With an experienced jockey he would be a complete rosette machine!

Very fast against the clock, incredible turns. Could also be a fantastic games pony with training.

He is ridden successfully by a small 6 year old girl. As his 8 year old rider is the size of a 12-13 year old, so just too big for another season :(.

He’s never been schooled by adults. Any size kid/ or age can jump on. He’s good to go and super sensible & safe.

He does not kick, rear, buck or anything else of this description. No vices, or issues.

Turns out with mares & geldings.

Handled by kids daily, including my 4 year old, who turns him out & brings him in. The kids often ride him back & forth to the field in a head collar, sat on his rug.

Up to date with farrier, injections, chiropractor, dentist and wormers.

He is a brilliant competition pony who always scores well with confirmation and jumping. He pops into a lovely steady rhythm over fences- never pulls or races off.

Riding well however is NOT suitable for a young child at the moment as he gets his confidence from his rider. Can get anxious in the school and it's not his happy place in saying that he will work through it with a confident jockey. He loves hacking alone or with company we feel that's where he'll be best suited hacking/hunting/fun rides etc, but again needs to get his confidence from his jockey.

He has a great little jump and is getting better everyday

He is a little powerhouse of a pony, strong but light in his mouth and responsive to the leg but definitely knows when he isn't getting the confidence he seeks. Suitable for a established confident older child or petite adult. He is fit and ready for his prefect partner to have fun. He'll come with a full wardrobe including a fitted Kent and Master saddle, bridle and rugs


He is a project pony and requires more work and education. Only for sale as too much pony for our petite 8 year old granddaughter. Looking for the best of homes.
