A 13.1hh, 12-year-old bay cob mare, Pebbles embodies the qualities every rider dreams of in a pony: steady, safe, and endlessly patient. Her calm and generous nature makes her the ideal companion for beginners, nervous riders, and experienced equestrians alike.
Pebbles carries the leg really well along with small children she carries adults up to around 10 stone, one of the riders in the video is 5,4 and the other rider in the advert is 5,8.
Pebbles has spent the past three years working in a reputable riding school, where she has played a vital role in teaching both children and small adults. Her adaptability is remarkable mare she gently carries complete novices in their first lessons, encourages riders learning to canter and jump, and supports more advanced students through dressage movements, showjumping courses, cross-country schooling, and even gymkhana games. She is a true schoolmistress who brings out the best in everyone she meets.
What sets Pebbles apart is not only her experience but her natural ability to connect with her rider. She knows her job and performs it with quiet confidence. Her paces are balanced and steady, yet she is responsive and willing to work into a soft outline for more experienced riders. She approaches every task with enthusiasm and never displays a trace of sharpness or stubbornness. Whether schooling in the arena or out on a fun ride, she is sensible, enthusiastic, and utterly dependable.
She has done all flat work lessons, privates and groups, basic dressage moves and tests, low level jumping courses and competitions, cross country, gymkhana games she is very genuine and loves to hack out, she never pulls, rush, spook or get nervous of anything.
Pebbles has done pony club, riding club, low level competitions, beach / fun rides prior to her riding school career, so she will return to that lifestyle with ease.
Absolutely no vices, when ridden, in the stable or in the field and has brilliant manners enabling anyone to handle her safely and with ease, will stand for hours with no head collar or lead rope being groomed.
She has exceptional manners and ticks so many boxes for someone looking for a very safe easy Schoolmistress, with no ifs or buts.
Pebbles hacks out in the heaviest of traffic without batting an eye lid, she will wait at traffic lights / roundabouts for as long as required without moving, she doesn’t flinch when articulated lorries, double-decker buses, motorbikes, tractors and trailers fly pass her at some speed.
She is absolutely not fazed by large plant farm machinery.
She has impeccable manners when ridden across open fields, cantered / galloped on grass verges at the side of busy roads, within a group she is happy to be lead file, in the middle or at the back, she doesn’t pull, rush, spin or try and overtake.

She is excellent catch, load, travel, bath, clip, groom, farrier, dentist, vet.

Has excellent manners with the farrier and currently barefoot but is equally happy to be shoed.
She would give confidence to any rider/ handler when showjumping, dressage, cross country, working hunter, in hand, fun rides and beach rides she has been there and done it all.
She doesn’t need to be ridden every day she can go without work then be tacked up and ridden without any fuss, she is extremely low maintenance.
She has never been lame had laminitis, sweet itch or sarcoids. No lumps or bumps. No Marish traits.
Passes are annual Licence Inspection which is equivalent to a stage 2 vetting.
On the ground, Pebbles continues to impress. She has excellent stable manners and is handled daily by children. She will stand quietly for grooming, bathing, and tacking, even without a head collar. She loads, travels, and clips without fuss and is equally happy stabled or turned out, either in a herd or alone. She is currently barefoot, sound, and has no vices or health issues. Her long-standing participation in riding school life is a testament to her physical soundness and mental stability.
