  • Three lovely paces

Sadly this lovely little mare is looking for a new home due to jockey now being out of ponies. Molly came to us in January 2023 unbroken and has proven herself to be an angel in every way.

She was late started due to having a foal.
Molly has mainly showjumped with us and has got her 4 British novice double clears for 2024 and is confidently jumping round discoverys. She is not spooky in any way and takes everything in her stride. Won the British novice at Bishop Burton pony premier summer 23.

She has also done arena eventing a couple of times taking everything in her stride.

She is looking for a best friend and would excel in pony club or showjumping home. But would turn her hoof to anything.

She is amazing to handle on the ground and under saddle. She has no vices, perfect to clip, shoe and load. Good to hack alone or in company. Never sick or sorry. Doesn’t buck or rear.

Heartbreaking sale so no time wasters

5 star home only

13hh Welsh cross 12 year old( not 12 till November) Palamino gelding

After nearly 4 1/2 years of owning our golden boy, both children are finally too tall to ride him any longer.

Fara has been a super pony for both our children to learn lots on, moving on from their 11.2 ponies jumping 50 cm he has taken them up to 70cm at competition. And can jump higher at home and schooling SJ and XC. We have regularly competed at all pony club competitions, NSEA, working hunter, hunter trials dressage and arena eventing, Fara’s perfect competition height is 50-70, and we feel no higher as a competition pony. He is comfortable and confident at this height.

He had been placed pony club and NSEA dressage, Aston Le Walls school arena eventing and lots of showjumping.

Fara was part of the winning team at the NSEA grassroots championship at Hickstead, jumping 3 clear rounds.

Fara was part of the winning 65cm Bloxham eventer challenge team championship.

We have won and placed at lots of unaffiliated and affiliated working hunter class, qualifying him for the BSPS summer champs.

Previously Fara was hugely successful at working hunter with his owners before us.

He has been to pony club Camp, stay away shows, always being very well behaved and settled.

One of his favourite days would be a local country show, spent grazing arena sides and sharing ice creams with lots of kids, while competing in various classes.

He would be very happy being shared with siblings, as my two children have shared him hunting, and at competitions. He loves to be busy, but also happy having time off if his family are away on holiday.

He is super to hack out alone or in company, good in traffic, easy to ride in the school alone or with lots of ponies. He always wears a universal bit, with a flash or grackle noseband but is fine in a snaffle for dressage.

He is not a plod, he is a safe forward going pony and maybe more a 2nd pony after leadrein.

Good to turnout and catch, bath, clip all out, load and stand on the lorry, good with the farrier, cautious but fine with a vet.

His biggest love is hunting, we have hunted him for 3 seasons, from autumn hunting through to the end of season. He has hunted mainly with the Grafton, but also Pytchley, Bicester and Beaufort. He is a real goer, keen but safe and knows and loves his job, he really can jump nearly everything. Neat and clever over rails, jumped gates of roads and good size hedges. He is not for the faint hearted out hunting and if that’s the job you would like him for, than a more hunting experienced family would be best. He’s a gutsy little pony with a huge heart, that’s thinks he’s 17hh. He has great manners on the lorry, at the meet and standing while queuing.

Fara had a tumor and tooth removed from his upper jaw in Autumn 2020. A repeat X-ray 6 months after with a clean picture and has had the equine dentist annually since with no problems reported.

Fara had laminitis back in January 2021, and not since, he is easily and sensibly managed. but he will only go to the best and knowlagble home for this reason.

He is priced according to his veterinary history, but do not be put off by them, it is long in the past. He really is a dream pony to have fun and learn lots with. We would love him to go to a larger family so he can have a forever home. We would like Fara to go to a family where he will be used plenty, as he doesn’t deserve to be a part time pony.

Competition/ hunting bridle, breastplate and stable and turn out rugs included.

Charmer is 13.3hh with a leg in each corner and easily takes a small adult.

Stunning flashy paces and really stands out with his white socks!

Great to hack on the road and in open spaces, happily babysits my youngsters and enjoys pub hacks.

Currently training up to elementary at home with established leg yields and shoulder in. We have just started working on travers and shows potential to work towards medium. Has competed up to novice.

Has been out show jumping, showing, out hacking and on fun rides.

Will stand all day to be brushed and bathed.

Good to do in all ways.

Charmer would suit a teenager/small adult that wants to have a fun little pony! He is also more that happy to plod around with a kid. Would also be a fab mother/daughter share

He is a fun guy to have around and generally very easy!

Up to date with teeth, physio, chiropractor, vaccines.

Charmer has been a much loved pony for his current family and is now looking for a new best friend. His next home must be absolutely 5 star and we are absolutely heartbroken that he’s for sale but as his owner is heading off to uni he won’t receive the time he deserves! Although we can’t wait to see him with his new rider!

Comes with a full wardrobe and fitted saddle at extra negotiation.

Woodhaven Big Jim

148cm 4yo class 1 Connemara gelding.

Reluctantly advertising this awesome pony due to financial situation.

Jim was purchased as a 2yo through Clifden sales. I backed him last year and he is now competing at training shows and ready for a long competitive career.

Flash paces with a super technique over a fence. Very obedient on the flat. Careful and bold - he will jump anything! He has been to various arena hires and three training shows. 2 show jumping and 1 arena eventing jumping clear every time. Now ready to get out competing.

Lives on a farm used to all traffic/animals/kids etc. Jumps anything out hacking. Always polite and obedient at gates and in traffic. Will also ride and lead.

Jim has been an absolute pleasure to produce. He lives for his work and just wants to please. He has been the nicest young pony I think I've ever had so I really want to find him the perfect home.

I will only sell to a knowledgeable home who will continue to educate this talented young pony. I am confident he is going to excell in a competitive home; he has all the attributes to be a winner at whatever he does.

I am based in Scotland but Jim will be available to view at Somerford Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th May.

Vaccinations/teeth/worming all up to date. Recently had his first front set of shoes.

Serious enquires only for this special pony. Absolutely NO times waster and NO joy riders ....!!

Very sad sale of Delila - our one in a million stunning dun mare.

Dee has been with us for the last 3 years and produced slowly.

She excels at showjumping with numerous double clears, placings and qualifications on her record. Currently jumping 1.10+ tracks and training around 1.20+ courses.

If you want a crack at jumping the Foxhunter 2nd rounds she’s your girl! Sadly my daughter just doesn’t want to compete around the bigger tracks and we feel like we’re holding Dee back.

She is very strong, quick and quirky. She is extremely scopey with endless amounts of energy. She has the potential and talent to jump the top tracks and take a very lucky child to the top, but she does need a confident rider with a good seat to maximise her potential.

She is an out and out competition pony and not a novice ride.

She truly is a fabulous pony with brilliant stable manners, and she travels like a dream.

Up to date with teeth, vaccinations and farrier (front shod only)

5* home only. Heartbreaking sale so no time wasters.

Eric - Approx 14.2, 4 year old Connie X gelding (no breeding recorded).

Super super sweet pony, riding nicely for his age. Hacking well alone and in company, loves to box up and go for a hack in the woods and pop some logs, goes in front or behind. Going sweetly In arena and popping a fence but just still green as to be expected for his age. Really amenable little chap who soaks everything up like a sponge and goes about his work with a smile on his face. Good to mount.

Very kind temperament, sticks his face up for a kiss on the nose before you put his headcollar on! He’s like a pet dog around the yard and really enjoys standing around for a pamper and a groom - a bit of a timewaster!

Good to catch/load/travel/wash off/kind with other horses.

Make a lovely little allrounder/pony club/riding club/happy hacker.

14H, 12 year old Gelding. Jacob is a real quality Cob. He has done a bit of everything including show jumping, cross country, pony club, dressage and hunting. Jake loves to jump and wants to please. Jake is quick to learn and loves to work, he is forward going but safe. Bombproof in traffic and will hack out alone or with company.

Jake has been with me since a yearling and has been with me ever since. Jake has had 3 long term loan families from my yard. Due to me not being able to work Jake myself I felt it was his time now to find his forever home. Jake can get anxious with change and he can take time to settle in new places, once settled he is the kindest pony and adores people. Jake mainly lives out when he is with me but is mainly stabled at Hartpury where he is currently spending time to stay in work.

Jake can show signs of anxiety when stabled especially if alone or there are movement of other horses around him. His manners in the stable could be improved, he would need to be stabled with a weave. His ideal would be to live out with a companion nearby.

Jake is great to handle on the ground in all ways. Good to groom, farrier, vets etc.

Jake is very food orientated and can be impatient around feeding time or as soon as he hears or see's his feed bucket.

Jake loves to jump and very keen to do so, he is fast and will jump anything so therefore would not suit a complete novice but in experienced hands has huge potential. Jake has the sweetest nature but needs a knowledgeable confident owner / rider who is experienced enough to continue his training.

Jake is currently spending time at Hartpury College gaining more experience and handling with a variety of riders at all levels in a busy setting. Hartpury are aware he is for sale and are happy for me to arrange viewings.

Jacob is easy to ride but forward going with the kindest nature and soul looking for his forever home.

14hh 9 year old dun mare looking for a loving new home. Saffy (Liscromwell Lady) is a fully registered Green Book Connemara by, ‘I love you Melody’ Grandsire. She is a forward going, fun, Pony Club pony, that’s done a bit of everything in both her current and previous homes, and her full history is known. Her previous owner was the DC of their Pony Club. She qualified for Pony Club Mini-Champs at Bicton last year at 60cm, in her current rider’s first SJ competition with her, and has done NSEA SJ, BE80, Arena Eventing, and a four day residential Pony Club Camp last summer at Boomerang. She has taken her current rider safely through the Pony Club Road Rider Badge and the C Test. She can be strong, and wouldn’t be suitable for a hunting home, so please no novice or nervous riders.

Saffy is most competitive jumping 70 & 80s. Although she has already qualified this season for both Hartpury and NSEA Hickstead at 80cm, we are looking for a home where she is not pushed to jump higher. She has had her SI joints injected, and this is reflected in her price. However, she is a bargain for the right home. A full veterinary history will be disclosed. Home is far more important than price, for this much loved but sadly outgrown pony, and the current owners would like to stay in touch. Saffy hacks alone or in company, she is good to clip, with the farrier, and dentist and will stand all day on the box at a show. She travels well, in either a trailer or a lorry. She comes with a new Kent and Masters saddle, that has been fully fitted to her, and a wardrobe of rugs and saddle pads.

Price £4,500, negotiable to the right home. Please contact 07979 758333 for more details, photographs and videos. Available to view near Newbury, Berkshire. Previous two Pony Club DC references on request.

Duncarbery Cascade (AKA Cloud) has been a part of our family for 3 years, and we are completely devastated to sell her. But unfortunately, my daughter is now moving up to pony 2* level and is now too tall for this incredible jumping pony.

Cloud came to us when Maya was 12 and needed that "next level" pony to take her further in her eventing career. Maya only started riding competitively at the age of 11 and once she had moved past her first schoolmaster pony, needed that perfect, next step confidence giver that wouldn't refuse, would jump anything in front of her and could carry her safely around the cross country. Cloud was a dream come true in that respect.

She did a phenomenal amount of hunting with her last owners, jumping 5 bar gates and huge hedges. This robust start in life is what has given her such an incredible cross country ability and she never incurs any time penalties in competition. I can safely say that this pony will never refuse. She is a true legend. My daughter mistakenly jumped the pony 2* XC track at a Kilguilkey International Event, which resulted in elimination. She would've finished 5th if not for this mistake, which actually just showed the mare's ability!

For the last two years she has had twice weekly dressage and jumping lessons, with Trevor Smith which has brought her dressage scores down from mid to high 30s to mid to high 20s. Recently she's been training twice a week in pure dressage with top coach, rider, trainer and judge, Mark Robinson. She won a dressage league at Novice level last year in a horse class and places top 3 in nearly every dressage competition she enters. She has 3 correct paces and absolutely beautiful, balanced canter work.

Her jumping ability however, is what really sets her apart. Cloud believes it is her responsibility to get the rider over the fence and she literally pings over everything, with her knees touching her nose. There is nothing more satisfying as a parent, than watching your adolescent entering an international arena, knowing this pony will never refuse or run out, and will literally leap over the moon for them, pinging the fences with ease.

We have never pushed the mare and have been very careful in her management. At the last two internationals we made the decision to withdraw her due to unfavourable (and wet) conditions. Management of the pony and safety of the rider is always of the utmost importance in our yard.

Cloud is a dream in the stable yard, travels easy in a box or lorry, shoes perfectly and stands stock still to be clipped. She doesn't bang on the stable door at meal times and has no stable vices. She's a typical mare and if the geldings she doesn't know well get too close, she will eyeball them and give a little squeal. But she's turned out daily with our 4 geldings and rules the roost with a fair hoof.

Cloud's price is reflective of her ability, experience and training. In the last 3 years, we have invested a phenomenal amount of time and money in polishing this pony's natural ability and impeccable record in dressage, show jumping and cross country. If you want your child to have podium finishes, moving them up through pony club, 90cm to 1* international level, this is the pony for you. She is a once in a lifetime pony that does not come along very often.

If you cannot afford the price tag, please do not message me. The price is not negotiable and we are in no rush to sell her, as we will continue to event and train her. We will not let her go for less than she is worth. Apologies for being so direct, but it's important that we all know where we stand.

If however, you do think Cloud is for you I'm happy to provide more videos or information.

You can also see more of Cloud in action on Instagram at @itsmayaconstable

Thanks for reading!

*Note: Maya was lying 5th over all but jumped the pony 2*L track on the XC by mistake! So unfortunately was eliminated. But she jumped the 2* track clear.

Tito is a hugely talented 10 year old Irish Sports Pony by I Love you Melody. He's a fantastic all rounder, seriously talented and genuine at showjumping and has been a joy to own for 4 years.

Our elder daughter started riding Tito as a 6 year old when he was jumping a round of 60 cm fences. She's had enormous fun schooling and developing him. Along with a little bit of help from her sister in 2023, she's amassed winnings of £853 BSJA - so he's progressed to JC.

He's a super genuine and scopey pony, which he's shown by jumping and winning at Newcomers level, popping 1m 35 cm as a single upright and 1m 25 over an oxer at home.

In our view Tito will been a super ride & best friend for someone who's looking for an all round Pony Club pony or wanting an affiliated pony.

We've taken him cross-country and he's willing, scopey and fast. He hunted with his previous owner as well. He's ridden in a snaffle now by our younger daughter and before that in a Tom Thumb and is not strong.

He’s never been sick or sorry, has absolutely no vices, is great with the farrier, polite to handle in and out of the stable, loads completely fine on anything and stands to be clipped or to have his teeth done with no sedation.

Tito's got a life height certificate and his only lumps or bumps are an old splint lump on his leg that was there when we bought him as a 6 year old and has never caused any trouble.

Tito's only being sold as our younger daughter's playing hockey matches 2 days a weekend and 3 nights most weeks, so no longer has time to exercise 2 horses. It's a devastating sale, so we want to find the best of homes.

Please call Georgie on 07870 598098 for videos and more information - and we're based near Bath. Thank you

On behalf of client:

Mia

Stunning over-height Connemara part-bred, ready to excel in any discipline.

Currently measures in just shy of 15hh (likely to mature at 15.1hh), rising 5yo dapple grey Connie X mare. Her breeding is unfortunately unrecorded but she oozes quality and reflects a very nice mix of Connemara and possible ID breeding.

Mia is proving herself as a superb all-rounder with a great attitude to work and a natural talent for jumping. She has been lightly produced since being broken last year, having had time away to mature over the winter. She is unspoilt and ready to further her education with someone who has a good understanding of youngsters.

Mia has been out to local training shows and is performing clear confident rounds at 60cm, she is jumping 70cm at home (SJ & XC) and has loose jumped over 90cm fences with ease. She really loves her jumping and will take you to a fence despite her relative inexperience, she's not phased by fillers in the slightest.

Mia has XC schooled up to 70cm, she doesn't hesitate into water and has breezed over ditches. Mia has also completed a hound exercise at the end of last year and proved sensible.

She works into a natural frame on the flat with ground-covering paces. She progressing well on the flat. She is active & responsive but not in the slightest bit fizzy.

Mia will hack alone and in company safely. She likes to lead but will go behind when asked. She is proven in a wide variety of traffic (including tractors, motorbikes and bicycles). She is safe in open spaces and hacks quietly around our 120acre farm, riding out past our stallions with no bother.

Mia would suit someone wanting put their own stamp on a quality youngster. She's seen enough of the world to prove reliable in all disciplines but has a relatively low mileage/unspoilt.

She is excellent to groom, load, clip, bath, lead, catch, for vet & farrier and is just generally a lovely person to be around. Currently barefoot and on minimal feed so is a low-maintenance good-doer!

This mare has a very bright future and is ideally looking for her forever home.

Only for sale due to her current owner not having enough time to run two horses with a young family & busy work schedule.

Price negotiable to the right home.
Some tack available by separate negotiation.

Monty is a flashy sports pony that has competed successfully in Showjumping to 1.10m in Ireland.

More recently in England he has been in a Pony Club home where he has done everything, taken part in the showjumping teams, pony club camp and various other activities.

He is beautifully bred, 50% Arab and 50% ISH with fabulous bloodlines.

Snaffle mouthed at all times, he schools beautifully on the flat and produces some lovely test work.

Monty would suit a competitive young adult/older teenager as he is a typical sports type that needs a competent rider. Not nasty or dangerous in any way but will occasionally buck when fresh etc. Therefore, no novice or nervous types.

Hacks well in company, isn't used to hacking alone but improving all the time once he gets used to it.

He has been in a well loved home and it is important he goes to another home where he can be their number 1 and have all the attention.

Never been lame, sick or sorry.

Does have an old scar on his front leg however, this has never affected his performance as shown with his record.

We have owned Puzzle for 4 years and have done a bit of everything with her. She has brought lots of smiles to all the family, plenty of rosettes and is a total gem!

I cannot speak highly enough of her gorgeous character. She is a dream pony. So safe, 100% on the ground, catch, clip, hack, shoe, box etc. Often used by Pony Club as the demo pony in and out of the stable. Will happily have a beginner or tiny tot on her and be lead around for fun.

She is a true all rounder who loves to jump (up to 90cm) but is also very nice on the flat. She’s been to PC and Adult riding camps and is impeccable on the hunting field too. She awesome out on XC, so ODEs and rallies are her dream jobs!

Her accomplishments include winning PC Area Dressage, qualifying PC SJ Regionals and qualifying for NSEA Hickstead 80cm SJ and NSEA Addington in Prelim Dressage. She is always highly placed in Prelim dressage competition and in showing classes (Coloured, Family Pony and Young Rider).

Puzzle does have mild sweetitch. Managed by rugging and face mask 24/7 April to October.

We are selling because she's outgrown by our two daughters. She's in her prime and deserves to give another family the fun we've had.

“Kilgarry Dun Shadow” stable name Shadow.
Approx. 148cm 5yrs old Connemara gelding.
Full recorded breeding.
Sire Ballygarris Dun Shadow.
Dam - Fisherhill Lass.
N/N hoofwall.

Shadow has a lovely temperament and a really kind, genuine boy. He has been in the same home since he was 2yrs old where his current owners have produced him.
He has three lovely, floaty uphill, balanced paces and is ridden in a snaffle.

He loves x-country and has jumped water, banks, skinnies with ease and proving to be brave and honest with his current owner, taking on his fences without being strong.
He has hunted twice (video of him out hunting jumping)

He has done lots of pole work and grids and has schooled around courses of showjumps of 70’s / 80cm.

A gentleman to handle and is good to shoe, box and clip.

He turns heads wherever he goes and has a lovely presence.

Still a little green but incredibly willing and proving to be a quick learner.

Sad sale for his current owners who are wanting a 10* home for this very special little horse, where his new owners will continue with his education and producing him.

He will make someone a really super allrounder wether it be eventing or show jumping but equally he wouldn’t look out of place in the show ring.

Lots of videos on request.

Henry is 15 year old 14.2hh Irish bred dun gelding with a huge amount of talent and character.

We have owned him for just over 5 years but with our daughter (now 18) focusing on A Levels we have come to the heart breaking decision to find Henry a new home.

He is very good to hack out alone or in company. He can be strong on the ground.

Henry is an experienced showjumper and knows his job when in the ring so he needs an experienced and competitive rider who wants to win rosettes with him. He is very forward and will take the rider into the jump. Competes comfortably up to 1m.

Henry is not the biggest fan of dressage as he has mainly been a show jumping pony but has competed up to BE90. We have done lots of things with him over the years including:

Pony Club; rallies, show jumping and Pony Club camps.
NSEA show jumping where he has reached the 90cm individual final.
British Eventing to BE90. Wins at 90cm unaffiliated hunter trials.
British Show Jumping (no. 406703) 107 BS points (69 with us).
Lots of unaffiliated Show Jump placings.

Due to A-Level studies and mocks we have not competed him over the last 12 months - just jumping at home/clinics/hacking.

He is good to shoe/box/clip/traffic and up to date on teeth/worming/physio etc.

The right home is very important for this very special pony and have lots of videos to share.

Henry had successful hind limb surgery in 2021 but is fully fit having no issues since then and passed a 5 stage insurance vetting in October 2022. For sale only (no loans) to include tack. The right new home for him is very important to us and will be vetted. We would like to find a forever home for him in the South East so that we can keep in touch with him. We are based near Guildford, Surrey.

Easy ride, very brave, will go on a miss kind of type but also very careful. Perfect for a child or young adult. He has immense scope and for him to reach his full potential is not a novice ride, this is a real competition horse.

He is a very talented horse.

Has jumped BS to 1.15m (potential for 1.30m+)

Has qualified RIHS Intermediate Working Hunter at his 2nd worker show with a complete novice rider in this discipline. Jumps skinny's, water trays, brush fences etc. Is eligible on height to do 15hh WHP as well. He will be an avid contender for RIHS and HOYs 15hh & Intermediates.

He moves very well on the flat (achieving high marks for his show in WH and conformation).Would also event to a high level (has won around 2 BE 100 AE tracks again with a complete novice rider in this discipline). He is very brave and confident to solid fences, up/down banks, through water over ditches.

Good to do in all ways: teeth, farrier, hack out, travel, bath, clip. Will happily live in or out.

This is a serious little horse, certain to become a top class Working Hunter. Would equally be a perfect Bronze/Silver league/Amateurs horse. Would event and do all PC activities.

  • Silver is very easy to jump and very genuine

Irish unregistered Connemara mare 16yrs

If you are looking for a safe fun PC or hunting pony look no further than Silver! A little cracker who has a wealth of experience in all spheres having done all PC, NSEA teams at 90 cm, many seasons hunting and just being a really cool pony. Full history known, Silver has come to us as unfortunately she was bought for a novice 9 yr old child and is just a step too much.

Silver has done many years of PC all rallies, camps, teams etc for the Cidingfold Farmers PC. She would like to find a slightly older or more capable child that wants to go straight out and have fun. She is a super pony who loves to do a job and loves her jumping. She is happy jumping up to 90cm both SJ and XC but is happy to jump a bigger hedge out hunting! Silver is very easy to jump and very genuine, she will trot happily over smaller fences with a less capable rider or step it up a gear when asked giving a lot of confidence.

She is naturally forward thinking but not strong, always snaffle mouthed and stops as soon as asked. Silver has good flat work and will work on the bridle in the school. It’s not her favourite thing and she would be much happier flying round the countryside but will do what she’s asked. To hack she is perfect both alone and in company and is good in traffic. Silver has hunted several seasons with both the C&H and also with the Chid & Lec, she is a well known hunting pony in the area.

Her previous two homes are still in touch and wish to keep in contact as she’s always been well loved. Silver is brilliant to catch, box, clip, shoe, load. She is a little dream to have on the yard and no bother at all.

Seen at livery.
