Gorgeous 13 years young Connemara. Fred is a 14.2 typical Connie.

He has been with me for the last 6 years

He is up to date with teeth, back, vaccinations, worming. He is easy to do and is good to load and with the farrier. He will stand and be groomed and fussed for ages. He will live in or out and is currently living out with a Shetland mare.

He hacks in the heaviest of traffic, will go alone but prefers to be in company. He doesn’t like schooling and can throw in the odd cow kick. He has hunted and jumped with previous owner but not with me.

Fred needs a confident teenager or small adult who can take him out and have some fun.

Connor is a firm favourite on the yard. He has a huge personality, owning him is always a laugh a minute as he has a great sense of humour.

Connor has been with me for a year and a half, he has been out towards the end of the hunting season to grab a few days with the Fernie/local drag packs. He proved to be very well behaved at the meet and was ridden in a snaffle. He is a very chilled horizontal kind of guy and he behaved as such out hunting! He was good with hounds and other horses and popped a couple of ditches and tiger traps. He is not a made hunter but he was impeccably behaved.

Connor has been to arena hires- including dressage boards, all weather xc and Showjumps. He has also been xc schooling on grass. He is incredibly generous and genuine in his nature and will as a rule give everything a go- if you kick and steer he tries his best! He’s good with fillers, water trays, ditches, water, skinnies and brush.

He has been to a hunter trial as his first go at xc and he was an absolute star and tried his little heart out.

Connor has done a couple of intro UA dr tests and behaved well, he is not scared or spooky of dressage boards.

Connor is good to hack alone or in company, on roads and in fields. He is good in traffic and farm machinery. He never naps. He can be a little young horse spooky but never unpredictable!

He is working sweetly in the school and he has a lovely soft mouth and works in a natural outline. He has a good step and a rocking horse canter.

Connor has no health issues and is N/N hoof wall. He is good to load and travel o Lorries and trailers. He is good to clip and shoe and is shod all round.

Connor is a fun loving comedian. He is still a young and green little horse so he is not suitable for a novice home- however he has been used to give friends children lead rein lessons and frequently has our 6mth old baby plonked on him in the stable.

He is not suitable for a very nervous owner as is a young horse still and is generally a super star jolly cheeky little chappy. He does not buck rear or nap. 5* home wanted for our concon

Gigi is a gorgeous little girly girl who loves jumping!

She has very correct paces and is snaffle mouthed, while being politely forward going (no pony club kicking needed) Would suit a small adult or competitive child.

We recently took her cross country schooling where she popped round 70 & 80cm fences, ditches, steps and water with an 13yr old rider and absolutely loved it! Video attached.

She has also been to clear round showjumping (video attached) where she behaved very well, she did the 70 & 80cm. She has scope for 90s but has been in a home where she’s been mostly used for family beach rides and pony club lessons so hasn’t competed much recently so we entered smaller classes. Will upgrade next time out!

She can have a spook at new fillers but gives plenty of notice and is very easily convinced to go and then will jump off any stride or confidently from a trot.

Because of this , no novice riders/ first pony types but she is very capable of being super competitive and enjoyable pony.

I expect she has hunted, I took her out with the Quantock Staghounds a few weeks ago and she stood beautifully at the meet and followed them for a short while before hacking home on her own very politely. She’ll be a super fun hunt pony for someone to enjoy.

She is good to hack alone and in company, good with the farrier, good to clip, loads and travels well in trailers and horseboxes. Lovely to have around, very easy to deal with, will live in our out.

Because of his calm temperament this pony would make an ideal adult/ child share for ridden classes. This pony’s way of going and outline over a jump has helped him win Working Hunter Championships. Winning the Working Hunter championship in Clifden as a 6 year old in 2023 the centenary year of the Connemara Pony Breeders Society remains high in our memory. This lovely pony was broken last summer and turned away for the winter, purely as not enough time to do, now ready to restart again and further his education this summer.

He has had a tricky start to life which has left him a little cautious so please no beginners or first timers.

He has now been started correctly and slowly which needs to continue to produce him into the cracking pony he will be, he has good breeding, lovely paces and a great jump.

Striking, well put together pony with good paces. He has been in the same home since 4 and been an excellent happy hacker/ dressage pony for an amateur rider. 3 good paces and well established flatwork, good basic laterals, counter canter and a green simple change. Quick to learn and wants to please - it wouldn’t take much time for him to be at Elementary level.

A polite, responsive ride who isn’t sharp.He’s recently started jumping whilst on schooling livery here and is proving both careful and scopey with a great technique over a fence. He needs more work before he’s competition ready with his SJ but he has come along massively in a short period of time and enjoys the job.

Hacks alone and in company, good in traffic and in open spaces. Easy to load and travel, will happily stand on his own on the lorry and wait his turn. Currently turned out with others, not at all needy and can be left on his own for short periods. Gentle and polite to handle, a very straightforward horse to have around.

Freddie has 3 good paces, and is showing a very honest, scopey jump. He is a delight to have around the yard and is going to make someone a cracking little horse.

Freddie is quite green for his age, but takes everything in his stride. He has been out to a couple of arena hires with us and jumped around a full course of fences and isn’t phased by fillers etc. and is showing plenty of scope.

Freddie has been xc schooling where he happily jumped everything, didn’t get strong/silly, and showed plenty of scope.

We have recently taken Freddie out to some unaffiliated show jumping where he jumped a lovely double clear.

Freddie is good to hack and in traffic. He is perfect to box/shoe/clip/catch etc. and is a lovely boy to have around the yard. He is a snaffle mouth at all times. He is known crib.
