Purdy is a stunning 13.2hh, 6yo Chestnut mare.

She is incredibly well put together and a very correct stamp. She is a flashy sort, with four white socks and white face, making her perfect for the show ring.

She has three lovely, rhythmical paces and is easy to ride. She is soft in the mouth, never shown signs of being strong and takes you along without endless kicking. That being said, she is incredibly unflappable and is on the steadier side than the speedier side. She enjoys her jumping, never says no and is very straightforward to her fences, point and kick.

Purdy has been to lots of outings and is out competing most weekends. She has done lots of arena hires, local shows, cross country schooling and show jumping competitions. She won her first M&M class and was put overall reserve champion, receiving lovely comments from the judges at all outings. She is a pleasure to do in all aspects, when out and about she is extremely easy and laid back.

At home she ticks all the boxes and is good to load, catch, clip etc and will happily stand for hours to be made a fuss of and groomed. She hacks alone and in company, is excellent in traffic and sensible in open spaces. She is very low maintenance, currently doesn’t require shoes and lives on thin air!

I’m sure this pony has the makings of a top Working Hunter pony prospect. Equally, she would be a cracking all rounder, pony club, family pony, second pony. When the time of year comes round I’m sure she will also take to hunting. She is a solid type so could suit a mother/daughter share or small adult.

Although she is a very sweet pony, due to her age she does require an experienced home and is not suitable to be a first pony.

She has no lumps, bumps, sarcoids or any other known health related issues.

Inkie – 9 Year Old Welsh Section C Mare – 12.3hh/13hh

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we offer our much-loved mare, Inkie, for sale. This is through absolutely no fault of her own, our daughter has simply outgrown her and is ready for the next step in her riding journey.

Inkie has been a fantastic second pony and has given our daughter so many wonderful memories. She has taken part in Pony Club activities and has competed in unaffiliated show jumping at 50–60cm. She would suit a child looking to continue progressing while enjoying a variety of activities.

Despite being a mare, Inkie is not mareish. She has a kind, genuine temperament, is lovely to handle, happily leads to and from the field, and loves being groomed and pampered.

She hacks confidently both alone and in company and is sensible in open spaces.

Inkie is good to catch, load and travel, and is well behaved for both the farrier and dentist.

She will come with her tack, rugs, LeMieux headcollars and a selection of LeMieux saddle pads.

This is a truly heartbreaking sale, so finding the right home means everything to us. We are in no rush and will only let Inkie go to a loving, knowledgeable family where she will continue to be cherished. We would love to stay in touch with her new owners if possible, as knowing she is happy and loved would mean the world to us.

Biscuit is a super sweet 12.2hh, 9yo, Welsh sec C.

Biscuit is as easy as it comes to handle on the ground and do everything day to day, her current little rider does everything with her.

Biscuit has done abit of everything, all PC/RC activities with her current and previous owners and knows the drill, she’s super safe and sensible and has taken her current jockey from just learning to ride on the lead rein to cantering around showjump courses on her own!

Biscuit would equally excel in the show ring, she moves beautifully and naturally holds herself very well, she’d do brilliantly in some lead rein/ first ridden classes!

Bertie has three good, balanced paces and is always willing to please. He is easy to do in every way and has been happily ridden by both a 10-year-old child and adults. His first show was a stay away show and he took to it like a duck to water. He has a lovely rhythmical canter. He behaves beautifully at shows , travels really well and is often in the trailer for the school when we ride after school.

A smart, talented pony with plenty of ability, whether you're looking to compete, have fun at Pony Club, or enjoy all-round activities. He would also be a fresh face on the showing circuit and has stunning paces.
