Oscar is a genuinely kind, level-headed cob who enjoys human interaction and has always approached his education with a positive, willing attitude.

Naturally independent, he is equally happy in his own company or with others, without calling or becoming unsettled. He loves living out but is equally happy with his current routine of stabling overnight and turnout during the day.

An exceptionally good doer who practically lives on fresh air!

Loads and travels alone or in company in a trailer or 3.5t.

Good with the farrier, dentist and vet.

Up to date with teeth, feet and McTimoney sessions.

Recently clipped out fully.

Previously barefoot, now shod all round to accommodate his increased workload. He has been shod twice and appears noticeably happier working in shoes.

No known health issues or vices.

Handled daily and easy to have around.

Oscar is already a lovely all-round family cob with a great deal to offer an experienced equestrian home.

He has a good brain, a willing attitude and enjoys being active, making him an exciting partner for Pony Club, Riding Club, camps, fun rides, jumping, showing and countryside adventures.

He is not a novice ride, due to age, He can still be green at times, but has an excellent foundation and plenty more to offer.

His quality, substance and striking markings make him an attractive prospect for traditional and coloured showing classes, with potential for lightweight cob classes should he gain a little more height.

Oscar is offered for sale solely because he has not reached the height his owner had hoped for.

We are looking for a knowledgeable, experienced equestrian family or individual who wants a pony for life, not a short-term project. Someone who will enjoy the wonderful cob he already is and continue building a lasting partnership.

This is not a forced sale, and his long-term home will be chosen carefully. A buyer happy to keep in touch would be particularly welcome.
