Quality young sports horse with exceptional versatility in his breeding

Apollo is an attractive, well-put-together 4-year-old buckskin sports horse, standing at approximately 16hh.

He has been handled daily since birth and is currently in the process of being backed, taking nicely to his work, hcaking quietly and working well in the school. He is a genuine young horse with an athletic frame and plenty of potential for someone looking to produce a future competition horse.

Exceptional performance breeding

By Legrande, a graded Oldenburg stallion with proven versatility across the disciplines. Legrande competed successfully in advanced dressage, gaining British Dressage points and qualifying for regional finals, before turning his hand to eventing, where he achieved numerous wins and a particularly strong cross-country record, including competing at the Badminton Grassroots Championship. He also competed in British show jumping and was a Supreme Champion Ridden Show Horse.

Legrande's pedigree includes the graded Holsteiner Lefevre, with the hugely influential Landgraf I appearing further back in the sire line. He has also proved himself as a sire, with offspring achieving high Futurity premiums across dressage, show jumping and eventing.

Out of a Thoroughbred mare by Tobougg, Apollo combines quality Oldenburg sport-horse breeding with valuable Thoroughbred blood, making him an exciting prospect for eventing, dressage or other competitive disciplines.

Health note

Apollo has what are possibly two small sarcoids. These are currently fairly small and have not interfered with tack or his work. Prospective purchasers are welcome to have their own vet inspect him.
