Wren is a lovely 13hh, 6-year-old part bred Connie / Part bred welsh with good conformation and plenty of potential to become a super pony for the right person.

She's registered as Connemara Part Bred, out of Carlingford Carousel, a 13hh Connemara by Hungry Hall TopHat and her sire is Mynach Sea Scout, a Welsh B by Moelview Masquerade.

Wren is broken and riding away in walk, trot and canter, and will happily pop a coloured pole. She hacks in company and will go alone, although she is currently more confident with a friend. She is happy living in or out and is generally an easy pony to handle and manage. Her teeth and feet are up to date.

Wren has also done plenty of in-hand work, including simulated TREC exercises, which she took to really well. She would make a nice prospect for the in-hand showing world.

Wren is a willing pony who has plenty of ability but is still developing her confidence. She can become anxious in new situations or when introduced to something unfamiliar, which can cause her to become tense and speedy under saddle. She has not shown nasty behaviour, but she does need a confident, quiet and understanding rider who can continue her education in a calm, consistent way.

At this point in time, she is not suitable for a child, novice or nervous rider.

Wren would be best suited to a small adult with the experience and confidence to continue educating her, gain mileage and develop her into the pony she has the potential to be.

Wren is also still gaining confidence around traffic. She is improving with continued exposure, but this is an area that will need ongoing work.

💛 The right home is everything.

The foundations are there, and Wren has so much to offer someone willing to continue her journey. She has already had a good start to her education and is ready for someone to help her take the next steps. With time, consistency and the right partnership, she has the potential to become a lovely, versatile little pony.

A beautiful colour, a willing attitude and bags of potential — Wren is looking for her person to help her confidence blossom.

Experienced, confident and long-term homes only, please.
