🌟 MONTY – A GENUINE YOUNG HORSE WITH A LOVELY FUTURE 🌟
15.3hh Approx Irish Sports Horse cross, rising 5 years old.
Monty was professionally backed in May 2026 and has been given a thorough, unhurried start. He spent two months with the breaker, covering groundwork, long-lining, hacking alone and in company, riding in fields and schooling. No stone has been left unturned in giving him the best foundations.
Since returning home, he has continued with a professional rider weekly, while his novice owner has kept him ticking over in between. He is now ready to do more, gain mileage and continue his education.
Monty is sweet, willing and lovely to have around, with a loving, genuine nature—he didn’t even need a headcollar on to be clipped!
Everything we have done with him, he has been fantastic. He is a joy to work with, learns quickly and genuinely wants to please.
A beautiful mover, he is working correctly at prelim level and shows every promise of producing a lovely dressage test. He has also started jumping, proving straightforward and willing, with plenty of potential.
His current owners feel he deserves a home that can help him progress. He doesn’t need a professional rider, simply someone with the experience to continue his education and enjoy bringing on a lovely young horse.
We cannot stress enough how genuine Monty is to work with. He has had the best of starts, is up to date with everything and will make someone very happy.
💷 £8,500, including very nice fitted tack.
