Dougal is a stunning 16.2hh, 6 year old gelding. He loves a fuss and has a lovely temperament.

He has correct and balanced paces, very eye catching on the flat. He is quite careful and has a scopey jump. Currently jumping up to Discovery and schooling around 1.20. He has 3/4 double clear in British Novice and Discovery and we will continue to get the last DC.

He has been eventing GoBE and done a hunter trial, clear XC every time. Double clear 3/4 times with good dressage scores and placed each time. He needs a positive rider XC but he is getting faster each time and is brilliant schooling.

Can be spooky indoor in a new place but quickly improves.

He’s easy to have, a best friend, who loves to love you. He’s good to catch, shoe, hack, etc. Does need some feed to load most of the time but always loads to come home!

He would be a contender for Badminton Grassroots given time or a lovely horse for someone wanting to do a bit of everything low level, clinics, camps, etc.
