Spotless Gypsy May - Recorded breeding

Please read full advert before enquiring.

Previously a broodmare, Gypsy has recently been brought into work with my plans to slowly produce her over winter and take her to a few shows next year. Since restarting her career in July we’ve done arena hires and a Sponsored ride where she behaved beautifully.

It is Unknown why she was a broodmare but I believe she was lightly backed before having foals.

She’s a lovely character to have around and is easily handled by children and novice adults.

Gypsy is excelling in light schooling where she is now starting to learn basic lateral movements and popping a few fences. 3 naturally balanced paces and a fabulous technique over a fence. We’ve found she absolutely loves her jumping where she does become quite hot to ride. Nothing nasty or silly.

Gypsy is very happy and confident schooling at home and hacking around the farm however can be quite nervous around the country lanes with faster paced vehicles approaching her head on. Good with heavy machinery and lorries (being on a farm she’s exposed to it all).

She doesn’t have the cleanest legs with a scar on her right hind and left fore. Reason for these scars are unknown. This has never affected her soundness.

She’s up to date with vaccines, farrier, worming, physio, osteo and saddle.

Gypsy is great to catch, farrier and travelling however she does need to be sedated to clip and for the dentist. We’ve believe the sound of the machines is what scares her so for a calmer experience we prefer to just sedate her.

This is a completely honest advert where by I’m more than happy to answer questions.

Please note although she is safe and has never done anything unseating or worrying she is a very responsive ride so I would not recommend her to a novice. Gypsy would make an excellent competent mother/teenagers share. No dealers.
