• Wonderful temperament, quick learner, quiet on ground and easy to do, live in or out.
• Loads and travels well, good for farrier (barefoot), comes to call / easy to catch
• Gentle and polite, liberty trained, attended pole clinics, hacked endlessly and lightly schooled.

Otto is a 5 yo appaloosa bought as a project for my daughter in 2024. A full up 15.3hh / small 16hh.

We bought him from the breeder as an unbacked 3yo, his education started in Wales at a professional breaking yard for a year where he was very slowly backed / turned away /brought back into work. He was hacked daily and flourished in this routine. We brought him to us in April 2026 and continued his education in full livery, incorporating schooling and other disciplines. He is green and still needs to progress but has all the ingredients to be a nice horse.

His education was interrupted when he split his nose on a nail(!) and had to have two months out. He was in significant pain and proceeded to remain calm and gentle, even when the vets had to stitch him up / remove stitches with only sedation. This interruption meant that his education has slowed but we have recently picked it back up with 3 x PW groundwork and light schooling.

He is very capable, we just don't have the time or capacity to continue with it due to personal circumstances. He is an extremely quick learner and has taken to his ground work very quickly - he enjoys learning.

- Loads and travels well but needs to build muscle to enable more balance.

- Attended pole clinics and rallies.

- Excellent to catch and on ground.

- Good with farrier - barefoot and his feet are great.

- Up to date on all injections etc.

- Lovely temperament and loves people.

- Full pedigree available.

He has been really loved and cared for with us - we have taken it slowly as he is too good to rush BUT he really deserves to be loved and utilised more.

He will suit a loving home where he can be enjoyed and loved. I am not looking to sell him to somewhere that he will be raced into the ground, he needs a confident and experienced owner who can continue his journey.

He does have a medical condition which will be disclosed but does not effect his daily life nor his future, however, he will not pass a vetting due to it.

He is POA as home is of the utmost importance.

Full wardrobe / tack and rugs available on separate negotiation.
