CHEDINGTON GOLDEN GIRL — “BEA”

Exciting homebred 4yo mare

Chestnut mare by Golden Hawk (Figo de Muze).

Bea is a lovely homebred mare who has been carefully produced here at Chedington from the beginning. She was broken in as a 3yo and has been given plenty of time to develop correctly.

She is showing all the qualities of an exciting young competition horse — careful, athletic and scopey, with a great attitude towards her work.

Bea is naturally balanced, straightforward to ride and always wants to do her job. She is still young and green, but has been very genuine throughout her education and is ready for someone to continue producing.

She would suit a confident amateur or professional looking for a quality young horse to produce through the grades, with the potential to excel in either showjumping or eventing.

A genuine homebred horse who has been known and produced by us throughout her life.

No good quality photos of her jumping at home, please see video of her riding under saddle and jumping attached.

• Excellent Specification

• Plenty of Storage

Lovely Chatham 3.5 tonne horsebox, 68 plate, finished in a very smart dark grey. A spacious and practical box that carries 2 horses, with an excellent specification and plenty of storage.

Currently showing approximately 68,332 miles and has MOT until August 2027.

The horse area is well designed with stallion partitions, rubber flooring and protective wall lining. It benefits from a remote-controlled ventilation fan and a horse-area camera with monitor in the cab, so you can keep an eye on the horses while travelling.

The cab is very smart with three matching Chatham upholstered seats and also benefits from a reversing camera.

One of the best features of this box is the amount of space and storage. The rear/groom area is extremely useful, with seating, wardrobe and lots of additional storage, making it ideal for competition days and longer outings. It feels much more spacious and practical than many 3.5T boxes.

Super smart 15.1hh mare by Inverin Rocky (connie) out of miss chloe M (thoroughbred)

Bambi was Overall Supreme In-Hand Champion at her first ever show and has since been broken and produced by ourselves. She is now riding away sweetly in the school and is being brought on carefully. Recently gone overall champion riding horse at Pembrokeshire county show (gaining a spin in the hoys price family qualifier )

Loose schooled to over a metre with plenty of scope and has plenty of ability and potential to become a fantastic new face for the Small Riding Horse classes, or equally make a very exciting teenager’s BS/BE prospect. She recently went to her first cross county hire, she was very green as expected of a young mare but was willing and enjoyed poping a few jumps, and has also been down to the beach for a canter along the sea 🌊

Loads and travel well in a trailer and lorry, Good to catch, good to clip, Easy to handle. She is up to date with Vaccinations, worming and farrier and is quiet as a lamb to hack in company. but is still developing confidence when hacking alone and can be nappy at times. although this is improving. She is not a novice ride and needs a competent, confident rider to further her education

Bambi is a talented young mare who is still in production rather than a finished product. She is a lovely prospect for someone wanting to continue her education and put their own stamp on a quality young horse.

Bunny is a genuine, kind and very un-mareish mare who really does her best to help her rider.

She has only had two homes in her life - initially professionally produced to novice level eventing as a 6 year old while still owned by her breeder (including jumping clear xc as a 5 yr old at Osberton International. She also hunted and showjumped unaffiliated during these years.

For the last 3 years, Bunny has been with a very amateur owner where she has done a bit of everything, helping her rider both eventing and showjumping. Naturally quick against the clock she has been a rosette machine up to 1m and is currently placing and jumping confidently at newcomers (110/115cm) with plenty of ability for more to offer her rider in the future. There are a couple of very man-made errors on her record which we are very happy to talk through! Loves her cross country and is confident and competent across all obstacles/ditches/water.

Very good to hack alone and in company she is also good to lead another horse/pony from. Travels alone, and doesn't stress if another is taken away from her at a competition. Has been used in the past to lead ponies from out hunting.

Good to clip, shoe and load, she is a really lovely horse to have in the yard - also loves a cuddle!
