Thatchers Jim Beam - Smart 138cm New Forest gelding. Jim is a 12 year old flashy liver chestnut gelding.

He is fast, fun and super sweet to handle. He is very brave and agile show jumping with lots of scope. He will go off any stride and never says no. He enjoys going out to shows and will stand politely on a lorry or trailer between classes. He would be perfect to BS with a competitive child.

He is very bold XC and will tackle all fences, including ditches, water, skinnies and drops.

He’s been lightly hunted and was amazing . He was very well mannered, good with hounds and happy to stand and wait at the meet.

He has competed in unaffiliated showing classes and dressage competitions and has always either won or been placed. He has lovely flashy paces and would make a super working hunter.

He is good to hack on roads and open spaces and has seen all traffic and farm machinery. He’s been on fun / sponsored rides and really enjoyed himself.

He is excellent on the ground and has been handled by a child for everything, including clipping, loading, bathing, tacking up, turning out etc. He is very cuddly and loves attention.
