A very bright future ahead for this charming superstar in the making, Moon has been with his owner since he was a two-year-old, and only a genuine lack of time means he's now looking for his next rider.
By Dieu Merci van T&L, out of a mare by De Flor III Z, registered zangersheide with some big names in his breeding such as heartbreaker and catango z, he has the breeding to back up what he shows under saddle. He's an athletic, modern type with plenty of quality and a lovely outlook on life.
He's had the sort of education we really like to see in a young horse. Plenty of arena hires, clinics and training shows have given him the exposure needed to arrive at competitions relaxed and ready to work. Produced slowly with his future in mind, ready now to start his career.
Cross-country schooling has shown him to be brave, genuine and naturally confident. He locks onto a fence, follows a line well and covers the ground with ease. He would make a very competitive grassroots horse but equally would go up the levels eventing.
In the arena he's level-headed, trainable and works with a lovely attitude. He has three correct elegant paces, is naturally balanced and elevated and produces a super dressage test. Over a fence he has plenty of scope and carefulness, will jump off a missed stride and is a very forward-thinking horse.
Out hacking he's happy alone or in company and has seen farm traffic, taking everything in his stride. On the ground he's an absolute pleasure to have around — polite, easy to handle and blessed with a genuinely sweet nature. He is good to shoe, box, catch, clip etc.
Moon is one of those horses that people notice when he walks out of the lorry. He's beautifully put together, athletic and has that real "look at me" presence that turns heads wherever he goes.
A lovely young horse with a very exciting future ahead of him. Whether your ambitions are to dominate the grassroots eventing scene or produce one to climb the levels, Moon has all the raw materials to be something very special.
