We bought Brian a year ago as a hack, but we’ve not had the time to use him as we had planned. He is currently exercised by a small female rider who will be very sad to see him go.

He raced until he was 7-8 years old and we bought him from someone who knew his last trainer. He deserves a home where he can continue progressing and enjoying an active life.

He is a dope on a rope in the yard and will stand quietly to be fussed over, doesn’t flinch with the hose, great with the farrier, good feet and generally very easy to have at home. He is currently turned out all day and is in overnight.

Brian schools nicely on the flat with a lovely walk and trot and very balanced canter - snaffle mouthed. His flatwork has come on tremendously since we’ve had him and he is definitely ready to start doing some local dressage competitions.

Brian hacks out both alone and in company, is good in traffic and loves getting out and about. He can have the odd spook at the invisible crisp packet, but is fine with tractors and buses coming past him on the road. In open spaces he is forward-going but enjoyable for a confident rider.

Brian’s jump schooling is developing - he has a habit of throwing his head up after fences when he gets flustered. We’ve brought him right back to trotting over fences and he is gaining confidence and becoming much more relaxed over fences. He could become a really nice allrounder for someone who is willing to put in a bit of effort but is not ready to go out and do a BE next week.

Brian thrives in consistent work and enjoys having a job to do. He is not suitable for novices or nervous riders as he is a sensitive, forward Thoroughbred who will benefit from a knowledgeable and experienced home.

He has a recent set of clean back x-rays, and recent hock scans. We have had his hocks injected for ongoing maintenance - happy for any prospective purchaser to see videos of scans and speak to vet / Osteo.

He passed a 5-stage vetting last year June, I’m sure will fly through another now, has recently seen the osteo, and is up to date with jabs, wormers and teeth.

In the short time I’ve had him competing, he has been to seven different venues and has consistently placed in the top three at BD unaffiliated novice level.

He had time off over winter, due to owners lack of time, no fault of his own. We are slowly bringing him back through the dressage levels.

I’ve also jumped him lightly to see his scope, I feel he will produce easily and do 1m in time.

Currently jumping 70/80cm, as current owners focused more on dressage. We have taken him to a hunter trial, working hunter showing, SJ event on grass. Being placed in the top 3 unaffiliated. Meet J’adore, the dream palomino we all dreamt of having. 16hh sport horse 12 year old originally bred in Kent with movement for the dressage field and potential to event. Beautiful paces, movement and correct conformation.

Sadly current owners over-horsed themselves so he’s being sold on their behalf. A balanced confident rider would have a great time competing him. In the short time I’ve had him competing, he has been to seven different venues and has consistently placed in the top three at BD unaffiliated novice level.

He had time off over winter, due to owners lack of time, no fault of his own. We are slowly bringing him back through the dressage levels.

I’ve also jumped him lightly to see his scope, I feel he will produce easily and do 1m in time.

Currently jumping 70/80cm, as current owners focused more on dressage. We have taken him to a hunter trial, working hunter showing, SJ event on grass. Being placed in the top 3 unaffiliated. Although we feel he is more established and bred for dressage he has the scope to jump for those wanting to potential event or enjoy using jumps or pole work.

He has breeding to excel in the dressage field, including grandsire Giorgione, a highly successful Oldenburg stallion by the famous Hanoverian stallion Grundstein who competed at Barcelona Olympics with Carl Hester.

Also half brother to Olympic ride Don Geniro, sired by Kambarby, linked to Solaris sport horses. Loads, travels lorry or trailer, good to catch and shoe.

Previous home show jumped, hacked alone/company and went on beach rides. They had him in a busy working yard and he was settled in this environment.

His rug rubbed his mane out in winter so was hogged keeping forelock to grow back thicker and it’s now at a length that he can be plaited.
