128 Show Pony. Poppy is a Welsh section B, out of Annandale Court Jester & Daukester Popjoy.

Extremely difficult post to write, Poppy is very much loved but very sadly outgrown and out of class.

A versatile pony that would excel in any area. Excellent temperament, a true child’s pony.

Easily home produced with no working in required. Poppy loves to jump and I feel she would really excel as a cradle stakes or nursery stakes pony, she definitely has scope to go higher also. Always jumps clear, she is keen, willing and as honest as they come.

Bess is a 13 year old, 12.3hh, welsh cross.

I actually bought bess myself from the brecon sales just over a year ago where she’d previously been used for shepherding (i spoke at length with her previous owners) then due to a change in circumstances sold her on to a great home soon after. Since being sold Bess has been loved by 2 young children, mostly hacking but starting some arena work too on and off the leadrein. Shes been based on a busy livery/racing yard living in and out and had no issues. She’s only available due to a change in there circumstances.

Out hacking Bess is the perfect hack, forward but never strong or silly. Awesome in open spaces will step up a gear if asked but happy to mooch along, never spooky, great in all traffic including farm machinery, incredibly sure footed on all terrains and will hack alone or in company in front or behind with no issue.

She’s started her school work and is fluent in all transitions and holds a lovely forward thinking rhythm but again is never strong. She’s also started jumping and is proving bold and brave over all types of fences, never over jumping anything which is great for a young rider but equally not touching poles.

She’s recently attended a showjumping clinic and an all day show both videos can be found on my page (Amelie Gibbs on facebook including full sales video) She excelled at the mounted games not giving the equipment a second thought.

She’s completely sane with dogs and other horses would be awesome fun out hunting.

Never bucked, bolted or reared. Gentle in all ways on the ground could be handled by anyone.

Her only vices are she is reluctant with picking up her back feet, my experienced farrier can trim her and we are working on this daily as seen in video she is now picking them up but reluctant to hold them up. She can be a bit shy to be caught since arriving she’s not taken me more than 10 minutes to catch and she’s in a huge field without a headcollar left on and i haven’t been using treats, again this is improving daily. She hasn’t done an awful lot of loading on collection it took us 5 minutes and a lunge line clipped to the side so she couldn’t veer off but as you can see in the video she’s now walking in no issue and is great to travel. Her passport is estimated at 12 (now 13) however upon purchase i had two vets inspect her teeth (and she had them rasped) and they both agreed this was the correct age. This is all reflected in her price without these “vices” she’d be worth alot more so an excellent opportunity to get a cracking all round pony on a budget.

She’s up to date with everything back, teeth, feet, vaccinations etc.

We brought her over from Ireland as a rising 6 year old with very little mileage, and have taken our time to produce her slowly with the higher levels of eventing in mind. She will easily step up to BE Novice with already a couple of BE100s under her belt; she is as brave as a lion out XC having already trained over ditches, combinations, water, skinnies and has also competed unaffiliated and Cotswold Cup. On the flat she has lovely paces and learnt her changes.

Snaffle mouth in all three phases.

In showjumping she has been competing BS on a ticket with clear at discovery. Not only that but been competed by a 16 yr old rider at NSEA, qualifying and winning team NSEA County Championship at Hickstead and Windsor Class. Happily jumping 110/115 in training.

This mare can turn her hoof to the more fun side of life, we have taken her on a beach riding holiday and hunted, including being a field masters horse.

With all the above said, this mare is a serious competition horse so needs to be sensitively ridden and therefore is not suitable for a novice rider. Fit and ready to go, we haven't had any runs this season as our focus has been on exams, and now sadly the ground is too hard until we have some wetter weather. Has attended training shows at 100 / Novice level.

Good to travel in either trailer or lorry happily waits if travelling with a friend, farrier/ dentist / falls asleep when you clip her.

On the flat she has lovely paces and learnt her changes.

In showjumping she has been competing BS on a ticket with clear at discovery. Not only that but been competed by a 16 yr old rider at NSEA, qualifying and winning team NSEA County Championship at Hickstead and Windsor Class. Happily jumping 110/115 in training.

This mare can turn her hoof to the more fun side of life, we have taken her on a beach riding holiday and hunted, including being a field masters horse.

With all the above said, this mare is a serious competition horse so needs to be sensitively ridden and therefore is not suitable for a novice rider. Fit and ready to go, we haven't had any runs this season as our focus has been on exams, and now sadly the ground is too hard until we have some wetter weather. Has attended training shows at 100 / Novice level.

Good to travel in either trailer or lorry happily waits if travelling with a friend, farrier/ dentist / falls asleep when you clip her.

Lottie has a super loving temperament, well mannered with a heart of gold , she is a lovely confidence giver and very tolerant. She is quiet to groom and tack up etc.. stands at the block while you get on , always snaffle mouthed.

She loves her X country and is bold and brave to jump and steady- jumps on and off banks, ditches,in water etc.. has jumped unaffiliated show jumping with fillers etc..

Lottie rides sensible on the flat and is coming on nicely with her schooling.

Lottie hacks out in company or on her own, good in traffic, sheep,cows and you can open and close gates on her. also rides well in open field and bridleways.

Lottie will suit a riding club / pony club / family / mother and daughter/ fun horse home!

Lottie is very polite on the ground , loves a fuss and attention, she loves my kids riding and handling her, very sweet and well mannered with little people /dogs etc.. will wait patiently on the lorry at a show , Good to shoe / catch / bath / load etc..

Good turned out in the field with others.

Doesn’t need riding everyday , lives out or happy to be in. She is a lovely girl to have on the yard.
