Fleur has a few quirks, so please read carefully

She is a headshaker, which can make her a little tense at times, although it does not affect her ridden work.

She had a couple of small sarcoids as a youngster, which were successfully banded and have never returned.

She is a lovely mare with so much to offer

Enjoys living out and is a very good doer, happily living off fresh air.

Not suitable for a novice rider, as she is responsive off the leg and soft in the contact.

Dolcie has been in the same home since being 5months old but unfortunately due to rider giving up she is now looking for her new best friend! We have owned Fleur since she was a yearling, so she has a full, known history. She has successfully competed up to 1.30m British Showjumping, but she has reached a stage where she no longer enjoys that lifestyle. Because of this, we are seeking a home that will allow her to relax and thrive, rather than one focused on competitive showjumping.

Fleur has a few quirks, so please read carefully

She is a headshaker, which can make her a little tense at times, although it does not affect her ridden work.

She had a couple of small sarcoids as a youngster, which were successfully banded and have never returned.

She is a lovely mare with so much to offer

Enjoys living out and is a very good doer, happily living off fresh air.

Not suitable for a novice rider, as she is responsive off the leg and soft in the contact.

Good to shoe and load.

Hacks happily alone or in company.

Loves attention and enjoys being fussed over.

We feel Fleur would make a fantastic low-level dressage horse, happy hacker, or all-round leisure horse for someone looking for a talented mare to enjoy without the pressure of jumping.

I'm not necessarily looking for a competition horse. In fact, if you'd rather your horse didn't compete anymore, I'd be more than happy to promise them a life of hacking, clinics, regular lessons, regular and gentle schooling and plenty of love and attention. My ambition is simply to ride beautifully, continue learning and enjoy every moment together.

I ride quietly and sympathetically. I'm not a nervous rider, but equally I'm not looking for anything sharp, quirky or unpredictable. Sadly, I don't bounce quite as well as I used to, so no bucking, rearing, spinning or temperamental characters, thank you! Just an honest, kind horse who would enjoy a wonderful second chapter.
