At just 8 days old Waterbank Maximus is showing just how intelligent and easy he is, he is already leading well on a halter and picking all 4 feet up when asked.

Outside of the arena, he has always been ridden in a rubber pelham, which he enjoys and goes beautifully in, staying light and responsive in the hand across all disciplines. He will, of course, go in a snaffle, but is simply a nicer ride in his preferred setup.

With an unbelievably heavy heart we have decided to sell our beautiful Montgomerys Penny.
We bought Pepsi as a BS starter pony for our son 18 months ago and she has been totally brilliant at teaching him how to ride courses at the starter level .

Pepsi has jumped so many double clears at 10 and unders(70-75cm) stepping stones(75-80cm) and Spring boards (85-90cm) which she jumps easily so we did try another level above which proved too much for our son and her as a combination at this stage.

We have been so torn between keeping her until he is bigger and better or letting her go to teach another kid what she has ours .

We will continue to run Pepsi this year as she is entered up and aiming for Welsh Home Pony and she will only go the the right home .

He’s still at a stage where he needs a nice rider with a bit of feel. I’d love to see him in an experienced home learning his next job.

With an unbelievably heavy heart we have decided to sell our beautiful Montgomerys Penny.
We bought Pepsi as a BS starter pony for our son 18 months ago and she has been totally brilliant at teaching him how to ride courses at the starter level .

Pepsi has jumped so many double clears at 10 and unders(70-75cm) stepping stones(75-80cm) and Spring boards (85-90cm) which she jumps easily so we did try another level above which proved too much for our son and her as a combination at this stage.

We have been so torn between keeping her until he is bigger and better or letting her go to teach another kid what she has ours .

We will continue to run Pepsi this year as she is entered up and aiming for Welsh Home Pony and she will only go the the right home .

Ellison is an exciting young horse with all the attributes to make a top competition prospect. Bred by his current owner and carefully produced from the very beginning, he has received an excellent education and has been correctly handled throughout his life.

As a youngster, Ellison was consistently placed in hand and achieved the title of Overall Leading Futurity Jumping Yearling in 2022, highlighting his exceptional potential from an early age.

He has correct conformation, three expressive and elastic paces, and is already proving to be brave, careful, and willing over a fence. Combining quality movement with an athletic jump.

Ellison has attended a variety of arena hires and has jumped around courses including both show jumps and cross-country style fences. He takes new experiences in his stride, remains sensible and straightforward.

A lovely stamp of a horse with a kind temperament and a good brain, he remains unspoilt and is ready for someone to continue his education and produce him for the future.

Beautiful quality pony with nice paces. Backed and ridden away over the winter and then had a little winter break to mature. Back in work from spring and riding well.
Silver hacks alone and in company and is good in open spaces. Happily works away in the field without a fuss. Boxes up for a hack and loves to go out and about exploring.
Schooling in all 3 paces and just learning to work into a contact, he picks things up quickly and tries really hard to understand what’s being asked of him. Popping a few fences and showing to have a neat little jump, XC schooled and loved it! Stringing some together and really enjoying it.
He’s still at a stage where he needs a nice rider with a bit of feel. I’d love to see him in an experienced home learning his next job.
He could go on to do a variety of things.
He’d make a lovely little plaited working hunter pony/dressage/eventing etc.

Good to catch/load/farrier/clip/bath. Turns out on his own or with others. We’ve borrowed him as a companion to various ones this summer and he turns out with anyone! Sweet little chap with a lovely character.
