We have owned Jonesy for nearly four years & in that time he has competed in M&M FR/small breed juniors/cradle stakes/PC showjumping/dressage competitions.

This year he qualified for RIHS in the PP M&M FR first time out. He qualified for RI junior small breeds in 2024 & stood BSPS Area 13b reserve supreme of show in that year. He competed on the winning Devon junior youth dressage team at inter-county with some good scores, despite my daughter's heart not being in this discipline! Bessie is a super pony club pony, having done lots of rallies, shows, junior camp, senior camp, non-PC camps, SJ, XC. Ideal second ridden pony. She competed at Area PC Dressage getting through to the Regional Champs last year getting well placed. She happily jumps 40, 50, 60 and 70cm. She loves XC, she has done xc training at camp, Somerford and has done unaffiliated ODE at Eland. She has done Chillington Arena Eventing as well as Winter Indoor Arena Eventing. She has also qualified for Hickstead with the NSEA schools jumping competitions. She loves hacking too, alone or in company and is good with all traffic, she isn't spooky. Out hacking she is happy in front or behind in walk, but does like to be in front at trot. She is currently living on a working farm, so used to seeing large machinery and cows. Good in open spaces. She is good to load, clip, bath, catch. She is a kind and willing pony who loves her work and enjoys an active life, she is a fun forwards pony but not silly. She has a fun personality which we adore, she is a great kids pony. Sadly outgrown by current rider who is moving onto horses, 5 star home a must for our much loved Bessie.

16.1hh, 13-year-old bay gelding with a fantastic work ethic who genuinely loves having a job. A fun, athletic all-rounder who schools comfortably around 90cm-1m, loves to jump and would make a super riding club horse for someone wanting to get out and do a bit of everything.

He enjoys clinics, pole work, arena work and is bold and genuine cross country, happily jumping ditches, hedges, water and steps. He thrives on variety and is happiest when he’s busy, making him ideal for riding club activities, hunter trials, arena eventing or grassroots eventing.

He has hunted well with us, both in the field and whipping-in with hunt staff, proving to be genuine, sensible and happy to work all day. However, we feel his future would be best suited to a varied home where he can enjoy a mixture of jumping, clinics, hacking and hunting, rather than solely hunting.

He hacks confidently alone and in company, loads and travels well in both trailer and lorry, turns out happily with mares, geldings or on his own and has no stable vices. He is good for the farrier, dentist, physio, washing, grooming and to hog, making him an easy horse to have on the yard.

He is not a novice ride as he can be forward and enjoys his work, but he is genuine, honest and rewarding for a rider who wants a horse to get out and enjoy.

For complete honesty, he requires Domosedan for a full clip and underwent successful kissing spine surgery several years ago. He has fully recovered, has remained in consistent work and this has not prevented him doing the job we have asked of him.

At just 5 years old he is schooling beautifully with three lovely correct paces (always commented on by the judges) Fully qualified for Areas and Regionals with all 7 qualifying scores at Prelim this year coming in his first 7 tests. This horse has significant potential to advance through the levels.

He is a pleasure to work with in all ways, hacks alone or in company. Perfect to clip, load, shoe etc. A real gentleman. Fully up to date with all dentist/vaccinations/physio etc.

The best thing I can say about him is that he's literally a pleasure to take out to a lesson or a competition. Travels quietly in both of my boxes either alone in a 3.5 or with other horses in the large wagon. Always stands quietly to be tacked up and requires very little working in and just gets on with his job. He has competed at many different venues both indoors and outdoors including Kelsall in the big indoor and Arena Uk in the outdoor with another horse nextdoor and he's never spooky or silly at judges/flower pots etc.

Lives out currently but during winter was just as happy in at night. Not needy in any way.

Someone is going to get a lovely young horse with an mature head on his shoulders who could turn into something really special. Open to any vet/x-rays etc. Never seen the vet in all the time I've had him.
