• Easy to catch, groom, tack up, hoof pick, lead and genuinely a nice easy temperament
• Not you typical highland, Tweed is a lovely soft and responsive ride giving you a safe feel
• Hacks alone and in company, rides in all weathers easily

Tweed is a fantastic stamp of a proper highland pony with an exceptional temperament to match. He was broken to ride at 8 years old and is now 10. Tweed is 100% to catch, groom, pick feet, tack up, tie, get on and off and to ride. He is just about as easy as they come, he would make a perfect mother daughter share or equally make someone a smashing low level alrounder. I personally think he would excel in the dressage scene or show ring he do well bred by the Erray stud. Tweed has had an impressive start in life doing some dressage training and a lot of hacking both alone and in company, since coming to me he has continued his training.

🫶 14hh, 10 year old, highland pony gelding 🫶 Hacks alone and in company at whatever pace suits his rider that day

🫶 Easy to catch, tack up, groom etc

🫶 Very well schooled in walk and trot, currently working on his strength in canter

🫶 NOT A LAZY HIGHLAND! Tweed is off the leg and nicely responsive without feeling sharp

🫶 Tweed will happily live in or out and is an easy kept boy

🫶 Lunges nicely and doesn’t pull isn’t silly

🫶 tweed is new to jumping having only done this a handful of times, he is honest over small fences and aims to please. He grows in confidence with a positive approach.

Tweed can be slightly slower to load into trailers however with boxes and lorry’s has proved easy with a positive attitude and he travels well alone and in company. This is the only thing I feel tweed still needs time and training with.

Tweed is for sale on behalf of his owner from my yard In Newtyle, Angus. He is the kind of boy that doesn’t come along often with talent, presence and the ability to step up and down for his jockey. One of the best temperaments around never bargy or strong a very kind and gentle nature. He has been nothing but a pleasure to have at my yard and I will happily keep him until the right home comes along.

Tweeds ideal home will do a bit of everything with him, he loves hacking and popping a few jumps he doesn’t want to be in the arena 6 days a week and I don’t blame him although he wouldn’t protest! He will give his person everything he has always aiming to please and put a smile on your face.

Tweed comes with a complete set of tack, AH saddle, bridle, stirrups and girth that his owner has had professionally fitted to him.

Rider in the photos is 5ft8in

Tweed will continue to be training with me until he is sold.

• 7 years
• 14.3hh / 150cm

• By five-time Clifden winner Currachmore Cashel with outstanding traditional Irish Connemara breeding
• Easy to own and enjoy: Riding Club, hacking, camps, fun rides, BE and BS experience
• Beautiful grey Connemara mare with exceptional presence, substance and traditional Irish breeding

Daisy is a beautiful, substantial Connemara mare standing a full-up 148cm and officially FEI measured at 149.7cm in shoes. Although technically a pony, she rides very much as a small horse and takes up plenty of leg. She would be ideally suited to a competent teenager, small adult or Riding Club home looking for a quality all-round horse to enjoy a wide variety of activities.

Those seeking a full-up competition pony will appreciate her size, substance and quality, whilst buyers looking for a smaller first pony for a young child should be aware that Daisy is a big, powerful mare with plenty of ground cover and presence.

Daisy is a much-loved family horse who has been produced from a young age by my daughter after being imported from Ireland as a 4-year-old. She is only available due to my daughter moving off ponies, making this an extremely sad sale.

She is one of the easiest horses to have around the yard. Kind, straightforward and pleasant to handle, she is good to catch, load, travel and manage day to day. She regularly travels long distances to competitions and camps and is perfectly happy standing on and off the lorry throughout the day.

Daisy has a varied competition record including placings at BE80 level and numerous showjumping placings up to 90cm:

British Eventing

4th Little Gatcombe BE80

Top 10 Ascot Under Wychwood BE80

3rd Speetly BE80

3rd Offchurch Bury CC70

6th Howick BE80

9th Dauntsey BE80

Showjumping

Winner 90cm at Ponderosa

3rd 90cm at Ponderosa

3rd Newcomers at Beacons

4th in the 90cm at Beacons on two occasions

3rd WHPI 80cm in a large class

What makes Daisy special is not simply her competition record, but her versatility and enjoyment of life. She has happily turned her hoof to:

Beach rides

Forestry rides

Fun rides

Somerford camps

Eland Lodge camp

Cross-country schooling at Boomerang

Inter-Hunt Relay

General Riding Club activities

She hacks confidently and genuinely enjoys getting out and about. She is forward-going, fun and responsive, and is the sort of horse that enjoys having a job to do.

As with many quality young Connemaras, Daisy can occasionally be fresh and may throw the odd playful buck when excited. There is nothing nasty or malicious about her, but she is not suitable for a novice rider and is best suited to someone with a secure seat who enjoys a forward-thinking horse.

Daisy is also exceptionally well bred. She is by the renowned five-time Clifden-winning stallion Currachmore Cashel, whose pedigree includes influential Connemara bloodlines such as Carna Bobby, Leam Bobby Finn, Mac Namara and Bridge Boy.

Her dam line is equally impressive through Gloves Bobby, Abbeyleix Fionn, Silver Cloud, Bitter Lemon and Ormond Oliver, combining several respected traditional Irish Connemara families. She therefore offers not only quality as a riding horse, but also genuine future broodmare appeal.

To look at, Daisy is everything people love about the breed: a beautiful grey mare with a kind outlook, plenty of bone, excellent substance and a lovely feminine head. She invariably attracts admiring comments wherever she goes.

This is a genuinely heartbreaking sale of a horse who has been part of our family for many years. Finding the right home is far more important than a quick sale and we are looking for someone who will enjoy and appreciate her as much as we have.

• Genuine amateur’s dream – will take a miss and help her rider out
• Super temperament – easy to clip, handle, hack and do everything with
• Homebred Arko mare – jumping Discoveries and cross-country schooled

Lily Ballerina is a beautiful homebred 6-year-old, 16.2hh chestnut mare by Arko, out of Cara Ballerina, who jumped successfully up to 1.40m.

Lily really is a rare type to find. She is exceptionally kind, genuine and forgiving, with the sort of temperament that makes horses like her incredibly hard to replace.

She is currently jumping British Showjumping Discoveries and has also been cross-country schooling. She is straightforward to a fence, will happily take a miss and help her rider out, and isn’t the sort that needs everything to be perfect.

She would be ideal for an amateur, young rider, mum or family wanting a quality horse to enjoy across a range of disciplines. She could happily showjump, do clinics, cross-country, hacking, riding club and general all-round activities.

Although she is athletic and has plenty of blood, she is not sharp or difficult. She is the sort of horse you can pick up and put down, rather than one that needs riding every day to keep her manageable.

She is extremely easy to have around the yard and is very good to clip, handle and generally do everything with.

Lily has had a five-stage vetting. The only minor point identified was a congenital/birth cataract. We were advised that this should not develop any further and was not expected to cause her any problems. We are completely open about this and are happy for any prospective lessee to discuss it further or have their own vet assess her.

We bred Lily ourselves at McCashway Stud, so her full history is known.

She is available on a long-term lease at £4,000 per annum to the right home. The priority is finding someone who will appreciate what a genuinely lovely, uncomplicated mare she is and give her a first-class home.

I have been putting off writing this ad but sadly I have to be realistic sadly is unethical to cut Isabel’s legs off, so it’s time for Arthur to find a new person to love him as much as we do.

Arthur is approx 11.3hh 10 year old gelding we have owned him for the past 3 year where he has been produced solely by Isabel, they have very successfully completed in both RI and HOYS worker classes, Arthur loves a tough challenging track he is bold and careful

Arthur is snaffle mouth and voice controlled he is forward of the leg, not spooky or sharp will hack on the buckle on his own or in a group used to farm traffic,

He is very easy to have around clip, farrier ect ect never worn shoes

He also loves to show jump and cross country he has huge scope, he is also my go to for my non riding niece, nephew and friends children to have a pony ride although I feel he would get bored very quickly of being a l/r pony !

I feel the best home for Arthur would be with a child that wants to jump either workers / cradle stakes / performance pony or show jump

This is an incredibly hard sale so please no time wasters or messers he is sensibly priced as pony’s like this are few and far between lots of videos on you tube please have a good look

Jimmy is a 8 year old Irish sports horse gelding. He was backed in September 2024 as he was used for stud so is a late starter, he hasn’t done much so he is still green. He has 3 beautiful balanced paces but is spooky still so not a novice ride. He has been to a few clear round shows where he has produced some lovely clears. I think he would best suit a showing or dressage home due to his spookiness in the ring when jumping or someone who is confident and willing to be patient with him. He does also sometimes randomly have a bronk after a fence whilst jumping which is rare but therefore an experienced rider is needed. I’m only selling him because I don’t have enough time to keep him in full work due to working a lot and that’s what he needs.

Amazing temperament on the ground and is a joy to have on the yard.

Braeford Sandpiper

A very special opportunity to acquire Braeford Sandpiper, a 14-year-old, 14.1hh registered Highland stallion who has been produced, competed and loved from home for the last three years.

Piper has had a fantastic showing career, having qualified for the Royal International Horse Show twice and Horse of the Year Show twice, placing Top 6 on both HOYS appearances. He has also been awarded multiple Supreme Championships and Championships at major shows.

He has been exclusively ridden and has competed successfully throughout his career. Over the last three years he has been produced and competed by myself, taking him to some of the biggest showing rings in the country.

Away from the show ring, Piper is quite simply a joy to be around. He has a wonderful character and is incredibly kind, genuine and rewarding to have on the yard. He is good to do in every way and is a pleasure to handle.

He is excellent to ride, well schooled and willing, with a lovely attitude towards his work. He is the sort of pony who will turn his hoof to whatever is asked of him and I genuinely believe he would make a fantastic dressage or hacking pony alongside his showing experience.

He is suitable for a range of abilities, provided the home has the appropriate experience and support for owning a stallion.

Although he has enjoyed a very successful showing career, I would now love to see him find a home where he can enjoy a new chapter. His ideal future would be with someone looking for a dressage/hacking partner, or ideally a breeding home where his exceptional Highland type, character and bloodlines can be appreciated.

Available as a stallion only.

Piper is only being offered for sale due to my increasingly limited time alongside my career and having another pony who now needs more of my attention. This is an incredibly difficult decision and one that has not been taken lightly.

I am looking for an exceptional, 5-star forever home for him. His welfare and happiness are my absolute priority, and I would much rather wait for the right home than see him sold quickly. I will be extremely particular about where he goes.

He is a pleasure to hack, confidently riding along busy roads past buses, tractors and lorries, and has even accompanied school runs while I’ve pushed a pram. He enjoys getting out and about.

Georgie has three lovely paces and is proving to be a very capable little jumper with plenty of scope. He has all the attributes to excel in the show ring and has lots of untapped potential with the right jockey.

He is not a novice or first pony, as he can occasionally throw in a buck particularly if he isn’t kept in regular work. He thrives on a consistent routine and enjoys having a job to do. Sadly, due to our current lifestyle, we’re no longer able to give him the time and work he deserves.

Forans Sweet Clover “Fly” – 12yo Irish Sport Horse mare, officially JMB measured 148cm has the feel and presence of a 15h horse

A very special opportunity to acquire Fly, a proven affiliated competition mare with an exceptional temperament.

Fly is genuinely one of those horses who is worth her weight in gold – calm, kind, sensible and incredibly trustworthy. She has been a much-loved member of our family for the past 3½ years and a very special partner for my daughter.

This is a genuinely sad sale. My daughter is now moving on to bigger horses and, with her time becoming increasingly limited, we feel Fly deserves to have a dedicated jockey who can give her the time, attention and appreciate everything she has to offer.

Finding the right home is far more important to us than a quick sale.

Dressage & Competition

Fly is a talented and established dressage horse with three balanced, correct paces, established lateral work and confirmed clean flying changes.

She is established at Elementary and has the ability to progress further with the right partnership.

Qualified for and competed at JCB Pony Club National Championships 2026

Pony Club Regional and Spring Barrier Festival experience

She genuinely enjoys her flatwork and would suit an ambitious young rider or small adult looking for a quality 148cm competition horse to develop through the levels.

At competitions she responds particularly well to a quiet, confident rider with an established leg and secure seat.

Genuine Allrounder

Although dressage is Fly's speciality, she has a huge amount of experience outside the arena.

She has evented, hunted, competed to 90cm and jumps comfortably around 1m at home. She has enjoyed beach rides, common riding and extensive hacking.

Fly hacks alone or in company and is regularly trusted to lead less confident horses. She is a wonderfully reassuring horse to have around and gives her rider confidence rather than taking it away.

She can also be ridden by less experienced riders in a hacking environment.

She travels well and stands quietly on the box.

Temperament & Manners

This is where Fly really stands out.

She is sweet, kind and incredibly special, with excellent ground manners and a lovely attitude to life.

She is good for the farrier, dentist and clipping and is straightforward to have around.

She is currently living out during the day and coming in at night over winter. In summer she is happy living out 24/7 with company.

Vaccinations, worming, teeth and feet are all up to date.

Veterinary Information

We want to be completely transparent with prospective buyers.

Fly has stable melanomas, which have remained unchanged, unaffected and do not affect her performance. Her veterinary history is available to genuinely interested buyers and is fully disclosed and reflected in her price.

We completely understand that this will not suit every buyer, but would much rather be open about it from the outset.

Our priority is finding a caring home who will value Fly for the exceptional horse she is.

The Home

Fly is a much-loved horse and deserves a dedicated jockey who can give her the time and attention she deserves.

We are looking for a kind and committed home where Fly will be genuinely valued and enjoyed.

• Mare
• 7 years
• 14.3hh / 150cm

• Pleasure to have on the yard

Good to load, travel, shoe, bath, clip and hack out

Serious enquiries by telephone please. No timewasters or unsuitable homes.

Although still relatively low mileage, Georgie has attended Pony Club camp for the past two years, regularly taken part in Pony Club rallies, and competed successfully at local showing shows, consistently placing in the top three.
