Lovely horse looking for a competent, confident rider to go have fun with - he is an ideal teenager’s horse - he loves pole work and has recently started jumping, which he thoroughly enjoys and showing to be bold over fillers too. I feel this horse really would enjoy having a go at anything, he seems to love a challenge, he is brave and bold and loves it when more is asked of him.

He moves really well on the flat and very light on his feet for his type, which makes him a pleasure to move round the school. He has placed in his first outings to local dressage competitions and would definitely do well in the dressage arena or possibly even showing too.

He really will make someone a lovely allrounder. He hacks well on his own and in company and has lived on a working farm so used to machinery, pigs, donkeys, etc.

He loves a fuss, thoroughly enjoys being groomed and spending precious time with his human.

At the moment he is out at night and in during the day, has lived out 24hrs in Summer months before and in Winter time he is in at night and out during the day. Currently turned out with a mare, has also been used to being turned out in a mixed herd.

Professionally started late last year and turned away for winter, has been back in work since March this year.

Has not been rushed or asked to do anything too much too soon. Lots of hacking out both alone and in company. Lovely forward ride, good in traffic and in open spaces without being strong of silly. Will walk out and lead in front or follow behind.

Lovely movement and a very trainable, willing and forward thinking attitude however, has not done too much in the school so will need further schooling. Lots of potential and a lovely prospect for someone to produce further.

Can pull a face in the stable and around feeding time but her behaviour under saddle is unaffected and out of the stable she’s the first to come over and follow you about in the field. Wintered out happily last year with a mare and a gelding with no issues.

Due to her age no novices. Although well behaved, she is a young horse and will need to continue her education with a competent rider.

On the ground, he truly is a gentleman in every sense of the word. He is kind, polite and impeccably mannered, happily handled by everyone from Grandma or Nanny in a wheelchair to a two-year-old child walking through the yard. He has the sweetest nature and is a much-loved member of the family. He is happy to stand all day being fussed, often brought in by my daughter and tacked up in the middle of the yard without a headcollar.

He would make a perfect mother daughter share or a family horse, he is NOT a strong, buzzy or hot ride. He will come out the same whether he has had a week off or been ridden all week. He is impeccably mannered and is more than happy to plod around steadily or pick up for a rider wanting more as he has done with me. Finding a horse that is genuinely competitive while remaining this kind and easy to manage is exceptionally rare.

A heartbreaking but genuine sale, only because his rider is ready to move on to the next stage. Zorro is a genuine, much-loved horse who deserves a home where he will continue to be loved and enjoyed as much as he has been with us. Horses like him are incredibly hard to find and we do not expect him to be on the market for long.
