Maisie is our beautiful, black 13h cob mare. She’s 6 years old, but wise and kind beyond her years. Owned by us since she was two, she has been the easiest, most lovable companion — the kind you dream of finding and hope never to part with.

Maisie is laid back and safe but not lazy — responsive without being sharp. She’d make a wonderful confidence-giver, equally happy on the lead rein or with a capable rider. She hacks alone or in company, happily going first or last without fuss. Never mareish, never silly — just a sweet, steady soul.

She’s a true yard favourite — impeccable manners, loves a fuss, stands for hours to be groomed. She’s first at the gate, loads herself into the trailer, and is good with the farrier and dentist. The basics have been done. Good to catch, trim and lead. He loads and has travelled well. Handled from a foal, well educated and long reining for a year. Now has a fitted saddle, tack on and been lightly backed in the field. Happy on the roads whilst being led from another horse and rider. I have taken Amos as far as I can - without a school, facilities and consistency. He is now ready for the next step in his development.

Clean legs fantastic attitude and she was bred by her owners so its a very sad sale ! In time say she would be perfect for a novice but she is young and new to her ridden career , but she has NEVER bucked , reared , napped or shown any cheekiness !
