We would like to introduce our lovely Norman . This is a lovely Irish six-year-old. With a stunning pedigree.

So this lovely big gelding is 50% thoroughbred he is 6 years old and about 16:2 . We bought him from Ireland where he had done some riding club and cross country. I believe he is meant to have also done some hunting.

He is green for his age  so he wouldn’t be suitable to a novice but this goes without saying . He’s got a very good nature. He is very lovely in the stable.

He is nice to ride, he is easy to a fence and he is very genuine. 

He did his first British novice yesterday he was very genuine and honest . He is very good to hack.

He is very good to clip , he is fantastic to travel. Alone or in company. 

He is really good to load . He is a lovely horse who is going to make somebody very happy. But he needs somebody to give him time. And unfortunately, this is something we cannot do as we don’t have the time with the amount of horses we have.

He passed a full vetting when I bought him and he’s hoping to be vetted again . The price only reflects a quick sale to the right home. As this is a lovely horse. A real genuine person who deserves a loving home.

Ziggy is a beautiful horse to both look at and ride and just a lovely person to have on the yard!

Ziggy flat work is very good with a soft mouth, works well in an outline and snaffle mouthed always. Good changes

Ziggy has a 1.25m record in Holland and has been jumping successfully with us here in the uk.

He has all the scope to jump 1.40s and be competitive at that too! Even more perhaps! He’s brave and careful whilst still being very very honest! A lovely uphill and balanced canter. 

He is sired by Zeppe Blue, a young Zirocco Blue stallion who competed successfully in show jumping with Leon Thijssen.

A joy to have in the yard and will suit many jobs he is an easy ride! No vices clean recent vetting & xrays 

He would be triple the price but we find he can a bit ‘hotter’ at shows. Always always safe but wanted to note this. He’s a complete bargain for someone.

Very well bred. Dutch passport. Sire is the wonderful showjumping stallion: Cellestial and he’s out of a dam with Voltaire X Heartbreaker bloodlines 

He’s a lovely jumper, making a good shape over a fence, using himself well and tidy.

He’s safe and level headed to ride.

Would be a good horse to produce on or have fun with. I think will be a competitive 120/130 horse in time.

Sire Don’t Touch Tiji Hero (Diamant de Semilly x Chin Chin) competed internationally under Gudrun Patteet but truly made his mark as a top-level stallion. His damline has produced numerous 1.60m showjumpers, including Thinka’s Hero, Verdini D’Houtveld Z, Gracieux du Pachis, and Akarad Hero. His offspring also impress: sport horses such as Dourkan Hero Z (Christian Ahlmann) and Desiree DR Z (Samuel Hutton) are already performing at the highest international level.

On the dam’s side, we find For Pleasure, a legendary stallion who made his name worldwide with Marcus Ehning and produced countless international showjumpers. Oasis is the most loveable boy there is and a pleasure to have around, loves attention and isn’t a hassle in anything he does! 

Oasis has a 1.40m international showjumping record. He is a really easy ride round a track of fences, our jockey is a very petite 22yo female and she absolutely loves jumping him and is the first to say he’s easy! He’s not strong or sharp.

He’s ready to go out and have fun over the winter and get out next year.

He’s very well bred The dam Billy Cavatina is currently competing with Irish International Edward Doyle. She is full sister to Billy Cadenza (1.40m) and half sister to Billy Bella (1.60m) and Billy Belle (1.45m).

The grand dam Billy Shannon Bells is half sister to Billy Walk On (CCI 5*), Billy Liffy (CCI 5*), Billy Boyne (CCI3*) and Billy Shannon (CCI 3*).

The Sire Tangelo Van De Zuuthoeve’s progeny include Tabago Z (1.70m,Team Silver European Championships Rotterdam ’19)  Darry Lou (1.70m, Winner of the $3million Calgary Grand Prix ’19) Forever (1.60m) Billy Angelo (1.60m)

Floyd has been kept on a DIY yard.  He is good to hack alone and in company.  He’s encountered many tractors and farm vehicles without spooking.  

In the fours years that I have owned him we have competed in the Cotswold Cup League and British Eventing.  He has covered the following courses: Bovington, Moreton, Chard, Pontispool, Cirencester, Barbury Castle and Tweseldown.

Done lots of Grid Work clinics, Pole Work clinics, Dressage, Show Jumping and XC.  Floyd is always willing to learn and is quick to pick things up.  

He has a fantastic jump and is eager to learn.

Floyd has good flat work – is schooling well, currently jumping at 90cm, competed at 90cm show jumping.

He’s been out and about, show jumping, dressage, eventing, pony club rallies and camps.

Good to catch and can be kept out all summer, stabled at night over winter.  Good to shoe, clip, vet, dentist. All vaccines up to date.
