Urioso is a five-year-old, charming gelding who immediately catches the eye. With his beautifully built frame, three quality gaits, and friendly character, he is a horse to fall in love with.

He is sired by the Grand Prix stallion and sire of numerous 1.60m jumpers : Bamako De Muze who is a son of Darco. Urioso is out of a Contendro X Burggraaf dam line who need no introduction!

Under saddle, he is a pleasure to ride – light in the hand, responsive, and with just the right amount of blood for show jumping.

We have started to take him out to shows on a ticket. He’s proving brave, honest and scopey. No hassle to have around. He has a bright future ahead

This foal combines the top genes of both sire and dam. Sire Don’t Touch Tiji Hero (Diamant de Semilly x Chin Chin) competed internationally under Gudrun Patteet but truly made his mark as a top-level stallion. His damline has produced numerous 1.60m showjumpers, including Thinka’s Hero, Verdini D’Houtveld Z, Gracieux du Pachis, and Akarad Hero. His offspring also impress: sport horses such as Dourkan Hero Z (Christian Ahlmann) and Desiree DR Z (Samuel Hutton) are already performing at the highest international level.

On the dam’s side, we find For Pleasure, a legendary stallion who made his name worldwide with Marcus Ehning and produced countless international showjumpers. This damline has repeatedly proven its quality: With some 1.60 horses as Sheikh and further back in the line we find the influential 1.60m approved stallion Acord I, as well as multiple other successful international horses.

Dam Ginger WZ (by Andiamo), also available in this auction, competed at 1.20m level. Granddam Pepper H (Holland x Haarlem) jumped 1.35m courses and gave the approved stallion Ulano-H (1.50m level with Sjak van Hedel, NED) and Felix BC (1.45m level with Ty Simpson, USA).

Oasis is the most loveable boy there is and a pleasure to have around, loves attention and isn’t a hassle in anything he does! 

Oasis has a 1.40m international showjumping record. He is a really easy ride round a track of fences, our jockey is a very petite 22yo female and she absolutely loves jumping him and is the first to say he’s easy! He’s not strong or sharp.

He’s ready to go out and have fun over the winter and get out next year.

He’s very well bred The dam Billy Cavatina is currently competing with Irish International Edward Doyle. She is full sister to Billy Cadenza (1.40m) and half sister to Billy Bella (1.60m) and Billy Belle (1.45m).

The grand dam Billy Shannon Bells is half sister to Billy Walk On (CCI 5*), Billy Liffy (CCI 5*), Billy Boyne (CCI3*) and Billy Shannon (CCI 3*).

Floyd has been kept on a DIY yard.  He is good to hack alone and in company.  He’s encountered many tractors and farm vehicles without spooking.  

In the fours years that I have owned him we have competed in the Cotswold Cup League and British Eventing.  He has covered the following courses: Bovington, Moreton, Chard, Pontispool, Cirencester, Barbury Castle and Tweseldown.

Done lots of Grid Work clinics, Pole Work clinics, Dressage, Show Jumping and XC.  Floyd is always willing to learn and is quick to pick things up.  

He has a fantastic jump and is eager to learn.

Floyd has good flat work – is schooling well, currently jumping at 90cm, competed at 90cm show jumping.

He’s been out and about, show jumping, dressage, eventing, pony club rallies and camps.

Good to catch and can be kept out all summer, stabled at night over winter.  Good to shoe, clip, vet, dentist. All vaccines up to date.

Birdie is a super competitive amatures horse she ready to go, jumping a 2* only 2 weeks ago. She is experienced turning and being competitive. She finds a stride for you, isn’t spooky etc point and go type. 

Sold from her long term home in Ireland to us when previous rider has had to prioritise University.
