When it comes to jumping, Buddy is quiet, confident, and careful. He has a naturally good technique and plenty of scope – he’s been comfortably jumping up to 1m here, and he free-jumps 1.20m with ease. He shows a lot of promise both over showjumps and across country fences. Cross-country is where Buddy really shines – he’s brave, straight, and honest, making him a super candidate for grassroots eventing or working hunter pony classes. He never says no, takes everything in his stride, and always gives his rider a confident, safe feel to a fence.

One of Buddy’s standout features is his temperament. He is very quiet, both on the ground and under saddle. He is the same pony every day – whether he’s been ridden every day that week or pulled in from the field after a few days off.
